Chapters Cybe's story pt.1-landing in ponyville
Ok...I know you guys don't like me and I certainly try to like you, but I think we can put aside our differences and write this story together. First lets get some backstory out of the way and then we can head on over to good old Equestria.
With that being said let's crack on with this sad but funny tale.
Cybe's and Jewels backstory
Our story does not start in Equestria but on Earth. Note that at this time in Equestria Twilight was only recently crowned as a princess.
The year on earth is 2046, a time for celebration. The American military had finally found a way to combine man and machine. For the good of mankind, the procedure needed to be tested on a live human. So instead of forcing a young man to throw away his humanity, they set out to find a willing volunteer. After a year of searching they finally found what they were looking for.
A young man named Cybe Catcher had recently lost three of his limbs during an accidental fire that took his parents. Leaving him to take care of his younger sister Jewel Catcher. The military offered Cybe another chance to be able to take full care of his 8 year old sibling. Without hesitation Cybe agreed to take part in the experiment. And to his luck he survived the process giving him two robotic legs and a cybernetic arm. The operation also gave him a new working eye. But alas, they could do nothing to heal the scars on his cheeks or fully repair his voice box. So they had to improvise.
He was given a metal jaw that was bolted to his skull just beside his ears. It covered the whole bottom half of his face, from the tip of his nose to the bottom of his chin. As for his voice well...you know the thing that Steven Hawking uses to talk? Well they put that into his metal jaw but programmed it to allow more emotion to come from his voice, and not to just sound like a robot. They even made it sound like Jarvis from those Marvel movies, pretty neat right.
As people learned that a young boy was able to care for his little sister again thanks to these body enhancements many others volunteered to take part. Mostly soldiers. Many of the volunteers were disabled and wanted a normal life again. Everything was goin great until a computer virus caused all the newly made Cyborgs to go biserk. The military could no longer keep them under control. However Cybe was unaffected by this virus due to the outdated tech that was built into him. He was brought in to be programmed to fight these new robotic disasters. At first he was not comfortable leading a life as a living weapon, but he soon realised that it was for the greater good. He would be forced to take lives, but he would be saving more than the ones he destroys.
As to ease his nerves about the subject, he was given two modes, friendly and combat. A red card was given to him to put into his arm to activate combat mode. His body was outfitted with weapons and gadgets as well as a built in med kit in case he came across an injured civilian. He would be facing over 250 cyborgs but he had the most advanced weaponry of that era built into his body.
Over the course of three months, New York City turned into a war zone. With the two sides fighting in the streets, all civilians had been evacuated, leaving only Cybe with the task of destroying all of his cybernetic brothers and sisters. And he succeeded. He was seen as a hero, a patriot when in truth he was just trying to protect his little sister, the only family he had left.
After the events of C-day as it would later be called, the military's cybernetic program was scrapped. Cybe was left to live out his life with his sister. He was the last of his kind in a way.
On day, when Cybe brought Jewel out on a stroll in the forest. Jewel came across a strange object. "What is this thing big bro?"
Cybe picked up the object and scanned it with his artificial eye that let him access every database on the planet. "This object cannot be identified."
"You mean it's not even in any files Cybe?" Asked Jewel with big puppy dog eyes that could kill a guy with a heart condition.
"Affirmative, this object is clearly not from this world. There is some foreign energy emitting from the centre." As soon as he touched the centre a bright light exploded from the top of the figure. Acting on instinct Cybe wrapped his arms around Jewel to protect her from any danger. When the light faded they appeared in a different area. They were in a forest infested with thorns, heck even the clouds had thorns in them. The object was nowhere to be seen. When Cybe placed Jewel on the ground he immediately noticed something was not right. He scanned the area and began searching for the nearest database, but there was no connection. Good thing he downloaded most of the files on earth when in the war zone for situations like this.
"It would appear that we are not on earth anymore."
"What?"
"That object seemed to be a portal of some kind."
"Yeah I got that part but how are we not on earth?"
"There is no record of any area like this on earth and from my scan there is no other humans on this world, but there is something else occupying this world."
"Well what is it? Don't leave me hanging here bro." Cybe turned towards the trees and pointed with his metal claw.
"There is a small village in that direction. I suggest visual evidence is what you require."
"Whys that?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you. Now come. Would you like to ride on my shoulder Jewel?" Jewel gave a quick nod and climbed onto her brothers shoulder. They then begin to travel to the nearby town. Along the way Cybe raised his metal claw and let out a small swarm of tiny drones that flew in different directions. Jewel looked at her brother with confusion.
"Um bro, what did you just do?" Cybe then turned to look at his sister.
"I sent some drones to gather data about this new world, they will be back when the scan as much data as they can about this place." As soon as he said that 7 little drones returned to his arm feeding him information. "Strange, I didn't expect any to return this early with this much information." They then heard a growl from a nearby thorn bush, Cybe scanned the greenery and then reached for his combat card. "It would appear we have company." Then four timberwolves jumped out of their bush.
"Brother what are they?" Asked Jewel in a panic.
"They are a species known as Timberwolves, native to this forest. Status, hostile." Cybe then threw his sister into a tall tree. He then inserted his combat card making his eyes glow red. Steam blew out of his legs and arm, releasing the restraints that disabled fast movement when in friendly mode. His arm then vibrated revealing four slots around his forearm, four gun barrels then rose from said slots. These Barrels did not shoot bullets but sent a wave of energy balls at the wolves, killing two of them. One of the surviving wolves lunged at Cybe only to have its face smashed to thorns by the metal claw slamming into its face. The last wolf then looked at its fallen partners and ran off with a yelp.
Cybe then ejected his card and returned it to its storage slot. The restraints then moved back into place. "May it never be said I do not show mercy." He said with a sigh, he then held out his claw and kicked a tree, sending Jewel into Cybe's claw. She then crossed her arms and presented a pout. "Don't give me that, I only did it to make sure you survived." She let out a sigh.
"I know but warm me next time." Cybe scanned the rest of the forest.
"It is unwise to stay here, multiple hostile creatures lurk here." He then swung his claw to the right and smashed one of the timberwolves he shot earlier as it lunged at him. It then fell to the ground. Cybe shook his head. "Fool me once shame on me," he then grabbed all three of the wolves by there tails and dragged them to a nearby cliff. "Fool me twice shame on you, I'm not letting you strike twice." He then threw them over the edge causing them to wail and hit the ground with a satisfying poof. He then grabbed Jewel and activated his built in thrusters on his feet. "Let us waste no more time, I will take us to the village by air."
With that they took off towards the town. Only to start shaking. "What's happening big bro?"
"It would appear that I have little power left after that battle, I can get us to the village but it will be a bumpy landing, activating force field." A green bubble surrounded them, they then began to hurdle towards the outskirts of the town in a ball of fire. When they landed they left a small crater in the ground.
"Phew, thank god we made it." Jewel exclaimed in the grip of Cybe, only to see his eyes closed. "Cybe, CYBE." She then began shaking him when a metal casing wrapped around them. "Oh you just need to recharge, ok them, I could use some sleep myself." She snuggled into her brothers warm chest and began to sleep.
Nearby, a pegasus and a alicorn watched these events unfold from a balcony.
"Did you see that Twilight, it looked like a falling meteor just crashed near ponyville."
"Yes, it's very interesting. We need to go inspect the damage. See if anypony got hurt."
When the two colourful ponies exited the library they both jumped at the sound of thunder. Twilight looked over to Rainbow with an irritated expression. "Did you seriously have to schedule a thunder storm?" The cyan pegasus merely shrugged.
"I'm not the one who plans this stuff Twi." With another roar of thunder there came a sudden downpour. Twilight looked to Rainbow with a raised eyebrow. "Ok that one was me." She chuckled nervously and continued on their way to the crash site.
What they found was a large silver sphere in the middle of the crater. Twilight then cautiously began walking closer the the crashed object.
"What is it Twilight?" Twilight then ran her hoof over the surface of the sphere.
"Whatever it is, it's made of metal, this is not a natural occurrence." Twilight then picked it up with her magic and began walking towards her home. "Come on Dashie, I want to run some tests on this thing." With that they began their trek back to the library, leaving the crater to fill with rainwater.
When they returned Twilight set the object in the middle of the room, she then began circling the sphere with a hoof to her chin. She then stopped and placed her front hooves on the sphere and pressed her ear up against it. She heard something and backed away. Her horn started glowing sending a purple aura around the sphere, allowing her to see a green field around the surface.
"Um Twi, what are you doing, cus I got no clue." Asked Rainbow scratching her head. Twilight gave a tired sigh.
"I'm trying to scan this thing but some kind of energy field is blocking my magic." When the field disappeared they heard some movement inside the sphere.
"Recharge complete." Both of the ponies tilted their heads when hearing this. The sphere then started to fold itself revealing a tall figure standing where the orb once lay. Both ponies had their jaws to the ground. When the figure turned to face them it showed surprise in its eyes. "Oh, hello there." The figure held a smaller figure in its arms, it them turned to the smaller being. "Poor thing, she's had a rough day." It turned to face them. "Forgive me I did not introduce myself. My name is Cybe Catcher and this is my younger sister Jewel. Who might you be?" Both of the ponies were taken back be the politeness of this strange being that stood before them.
"Well uh...m-my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is Rainbow Dash." The figure then gave a small bow.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Sparkle and Miss Dash." He then turned to a nearby couch. "Do you mind if I set Jewel down on your couch?"
"No g-go right ahead." Cybe then gave a small nod and lay his sister on said couch. Once he made sure she was comfortable he made his way towards the ponies. "Um, if it's ok Mr Cybe, I would like to ask you a few questions." Cybe then sat down in front of them.
"I will be happy to answer any questions you may have." Twilight then gave an adorable squeak and pulled a notepad and quill out of nowhere. While Rainbow just facehoofed.
"You don't know what you're getting into, you're gonna be here for awhile." Rainbow warned. Cybe raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not going anywhere for awhile, and I have millions of files of information in my data banks. I will gladly answer any of your questions first if that is ok with Miss Sparkle." Cybe looked at Twilight. She then sighed in defeat.
"Fine, ask away Rainbow. Oh and Mr Cybe, please call me Twilight. I don't mean to be rude but there is no reason to be so formal."
"I understand." Twilight then sat on the couch that Jewel was resting on. "Ok Rainbow, I am ready to answer your questions."
Rainbow then flew closer to Cybe and sat down. "First question, what are you some kind of robo monkey?"
"You are actually not far off. I am what is known as a human being. We evolved from great apes and are the only sapient life on the planet Earth. As for the robotic parts of my body, these are not natural."
"Then how did you get them?"
"I was a part of a scientific project to merge man with machine, the only reason that I agreed to take part was so I could protect and care for my younger sister."
"Why couldn't you do that as you were?" Cybe then stood up and went to a window to look out at the rain.
"About a year ago, there was an unfortunate accident that took the lives of our parents, as well as three of my limbs."
Twilight and Rainbow looked shocked, there surprised expressions then turned to a look of sympathy.
"Cybe, I know it may not mean anything but I'm sorry for your loss." Cybe then turned back to them.
"I thank you for your kindness. It means a lot." He then returned to his previous spot and sat down. "Anyway, after I survived the operation I then became what I am today. After over two hundred and fifty people signed up to take part in the procedure. However after a few weeks, something corrupted the new cyborgs systems causing them to go berserk. There was no cure to this virus, innocent people turned to rampaging monsters." Both Rainbow and Twilight widened there eye when hearing this.
"If that's true then why didn't that happen to you?"
"I am a prototype of the cyborgs, my systems were outdated. The virus only affected the more recent subjects. I was the only one that was in control of my own actions. The government turned to me to get the infected cyborgs under control. There was no way of fixing them or shutting them off." Both ponies looked at Cybe with worry in their eyes.
"So, what did you do?" Rainbow asked hesitantly.
Cybe sighed and looked them dead in the eye with tears rolling down his metal face cover. "I was forced to destroy them all."
The ponies gasped and looked at each other with worry, when they looked back at Cybe they saw the pain in his eyes. Rainbow flew over to him and gave him a hug, which was rare for her but she knew that he needed comfort. "There there, its alright. You did what you had to do. No matter what we can't change the past." Twilight looked to Rainbow in disbelief, she had never done something like this before.
"Rainbow, I've never seen this side of you." Rainbow turned to her with anger in her eyes.
"This guy was forced to kill two hundred people Twilight. Of course I'm going to do something like this." She turned to Cybe who had dried away his tears. "You still up for answering some questions?" Cybe turned to her and nodded. "Well I've heard all I need to know so I'll let Twi ask some questions now, ok." With that she flew out the door. Twilight rose from her seat and sat in front of him.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you were you came from, there is certainly no books on your species here." Cybe looked to her and prepared himself to answer many questions.
"We come from the planet Earth. As I said before the human race is the only sepeiant life on our planet. Unlike this world we do not have magic so we rely on technology." The door flew open and the rest of Cybe's droned returned to his arm.
"What are those?"
"They are drones built for gathering information. I sent them to gather info on this world as I had no files on this planet, and from the looks of it they have all returned from a place called the Canterlot Library."
Over the course of the night Cybe continued to answer all of Twilights questions. When she was happy with the new information given to her the library was stacked with towers of paper teaming with the history of mankind. Cybe then told her he had to recharge and to do so he had to incase himself in the sphere they found him in. So they both said goodnight and went to sleep.
The next morning, Jewel was awoken by a sweet smell that hade her nose twitch adorably. When she woke she found herself in a room filled with paper and books. She followed the smell into a small kitchen where she saw her brother over a stove flipping pancakes on a frying pan. Cybe heard the door creek open a turned to greet his sister. "Good morning Jewel, I trust you slept well."
"Yep, where are we anyway?"
"Last night I met two young ladies that let us stay here for the night. We are in the village." Jewel looked at her brother with confusion.
"Didn't you say that no other humans were on this planet?"
"Yes, the young ladies were not human, one of them left last night the other is sleeping upstairs."
"Oh, so I get to meet an alien today? Sweet."
"Remember sis, here we are the aliens. And don't freak out when you see her ok."
"Why, is she some kind of weird slime thing?"
"No, but you will be excited when you see what occupies this planet." They heard some creaking coming from upstairs. "Stay here, I will bring her down and introduce you." Cybe lay a plate with a pancake on the table for her and walked out of the room.
After a minute or so she heard talking, then her brother entered the room. "Jewel, I would like to introduce you to Miss Twilight Sparkle, come on in Twilight. Oh and sis please don't go all hyperactive little girl on her." When Cybe stepped to the side a lavender pony followed him into the room causing Jewels eyes to widen enough to look like a powerpuff girl. The pony smiled nervously and waved her hoof.
"Hi there." Jewel nearly jumped out of her seat with joy and rushed over to Twilight when Cybe lifted her by the collar.
"Hey what gives bro, that's a talking pony." Cybe rolled his eyes.
"What did I just say. Also this kind mare was nice enough to shelter us for the night. I don't want you mauling someon-sorry somepony on our first day." Twilight looked to Cybe with confusion.
"Did I do something wrong?"
"No Twilight, back on Earth it's every little girls dream to own a talking pony. I don't know why they just do." He turned to Jewel who was squirming out of her brothers grasp. "Now calm down Jewel, let's go eat breakfast." Cybe dropped Jewel back into her seat and Twilight sat opposite her. Twilights nose twitched when she caught a whiff of the air.
"What smells so good?" Cybe lay a plate in front of her and tossed a freshly made pancake into the air as it landed in front of her. When she saw what was on her plate she began to droll. Cybe then placed several pancakes on their plate and sat beside Twilight. His metal covering split apart revealing his mouth but still covering his cheeks. He then began to slowly chew his meal.
"Wow Cybe this is delicious." Twilight complimented. Cybe smiled and turned to Jewel who was still acting grumpy. Cybe's cover closed again to allow him to speak.
"Come on Jewel, lighten up and eat." His jaw opened again as he ate his creation. Jewel gave a huff and began eating. When they were done Twilight was about to lift the plates to wash then when Cybe stopped her. "Please allow me, why don't you talk with Jewel while I clean up." He grabbed the plates and headed to the sink where he began humming 'Angels Fall The Farthest'.
Twilight entered the main room where Jewel was looking out the window to see the ponies in town. "Hey there Jewel." She turned to face Twilight when she ran and hugged her. Twilight was taken back by this but then remembered what Cybe told her. She then wrapped a hoof around Jewel to return the hug.
End of Cybe's story part one.
Cybe's story pt. 2-A warm welcome
Cybe was done with the dishes and proceeded to the front room where he saw his sister in the embrace of Twilight. A small smile was hidden behind his metal mask. He decided to join in on the hug. "Room for a third?" He didn't wait for a reply and wrapped his arms around them. When they released each other Twilight turned to Cybe.
"There are some ponies I want you to meet Cybe." Cybe looked at her and placed Jewel on his shoulder.
"I assume they are the other bearers of the Elements of Harmony." Twilight looked at him confused.
"How do you know about the Elements?" Cybe opened a slot on his arm and let a drone fly around the room.
"I used these drones to scan the books in the Canterlot Library, including the books here. I hold all the information from these places in my memory." Jewel rolled her eyes and poked his head.
"He always needs to know things, even if it's useless. He's the smartest guy on Earth." Twilight nodded in understanding and led them out of the library. They took the backstreets as to not cause a panic, after all it's not everyday that a robotic alien wanders through town. Even if it is Ponyville which has its fair share of weird.
Twilight led them to a large farm, with apple trees as far as the eye could see. Twilight led them to a farmhouse and told them to wait inside while she fetched her friends. On the way Twilight introduced them to spike, who had shown hesitation at first but then started to warm up to Jewel. He then told Cybe that he looked like someone from one of his comic books.
Meanwhile, Twilight managed to find Rainbow Dash and told her to fetch Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy while she got AppleJack and Rarity. When all of the mane six gathered outside the barn Twilight stood on a small box that spike had brought from inside the farmhouse.
"Ok everypony listen up. I would like to introduce you to someone that Rainbow and I met last night. Now when you see him don't freak out, he is friendly and won't cause you any harm." This caused a few whispers in the group when Rarity spoke up.
"Darling, why would we suspect anypony to harm us?" Twilight smiled while Rainbow flew beside her.
"Because he's not a pony." She then knocked on the barn door. "It's ok, you can come out and introduce yourself."
There was silence for a moment, but then heavy footsteps could be heard. When they stopped the barn door slowly creaked open and a metal claw wrapped around the edge of the door. When he stepped out to reveal himself the four ponies all gasped while Rainbow was struggling to contain her laughter. Cybe stood up straight and gave a small bow.
"Hello there, my name is Cybe." This caused them all to gasp again.
"It can talk!" Exclaimed Rarity. Fluttershy cautiously walked towards him.
"What kind of creature are you?" Cybe looked down at her and kneeled down so he could be at eye level. "Are you some kind of rare animal?" She then placed her hoof on his organic hand. He looked her in the eyes, he didn't know why but when he looked into her eyes he felt something spark inside of him. The same could be said for Fluttershy. It was like the two were having a conversation with their minds. Fluttershy then noticed a certain pain in his eyes, even the metal one.
"I am a human. And no, I am not an animal. I do not come from this world. I was brought here by accident yesterday." Fluttershy seemed taken back by this but then wrapped her forelegs around him. Cybe hesitated for a moment but wrapped his human arm around her.
"Oh you poor thing, taken from your home like that. You must feel so lost." Twilight could only stare in amazement. She had never known Fluttershy to open up to anyone this quickly. She turned to see the girls held the same expression. Applejack composed her self and walked over to them.
"So, yer some kinda alien then?" Cybe looked to her and gave a nod.
"I do not know why I was brought here, but I was not brought here on my own." Cybe turned to the barn and called in. "It's alright Jewel, you can come out now." All the girls looked at the door and saw a tiny head poke out from the buildings entrance. She quickly ran to Cybe and hid behind him. "It's ok, they're friends." Cybe reassured. When she looked at her brother she slowly stepped out to allow the ponies to get a good look. Most of them gasped but Fluttershy and Applejack let out adorable 'awwww's.
Fluttershy flew over to her and sat down in front of her. "Oh aren't you just the cutest thing." Cybe then walked over to her and picked her up with his claw and rested her on his shoulder.
"This is my little sister Jewel." Applejack tapped his claw to get his attention.
"If ya don't mind me askin sugarcube, why don't she have these fancy metal limbs like you do?" Cybe sighed and placed Jewel back on the ground where she proceeded to hug Fluttershy.
"I would get comfortable if I were you, this is a long story." Cybe told them about his past, how he became a cyborg, how the virus spread and how he put a stop to the rampage. When he was finished the girls were speechless, they then all huddled up and began whispering, then they all gave each other quick looks and nodded. Twilight walked up to Cybe.
"Cybe, we welcome you and your sister to ponyville." Cybe looked confused for a moment.
"What do you mean?" Twilight sighed and rubbed the back of her neck.
"It could take a long time to figure out how you got here and how to send you back. So until then it looks like you two will be staying here." Cybe thought for a moment.
"That makes sense. But I have no money to purchase a home and I would hate to inconvenience you all by having to stay with one of you." The girls all giggled.
"We know somepony who can help with that, and I'm sure she'll want to meet you as soon as possible." She turned to Spike and nodded. He grabbed a quil and scroll. When he was done he lit the letter on fire and the flame flew off to some nearby mountains.
"What can I possibly do to repay you for your generosity?" Cybe asked with a worried look. He didn't like taking advantage of his friends, he wanted to pay them back somehow.
"Cybe, you've shared your tragic tale with us and given my a literal ton of new information. I think you've done enough." Twilight rested a hoof on his claw. A smile grew behind his mask.
"Thank you Twilight. Thank you all." Fluttershy flew up to him and brought him in for a hug. When she was done she blushed and flew away. Applejack tapped his hand again. "What is it Applejack?"
"I reckon you need some work to earn some bits, so ah would like ta offer you a job here at Sweet Apple Acres."
"Really, you would do that?" Applejack pressed his abdominals and smiled.
"Ya seem well built, even if ya aren't a pony I can tell. Ya can't hide those muscles from us. Plus, you got those fancy machines on ya, I'm sure you can handle a bit ah farm work." Cybe blushed and looks to the apple trees that surrounded him. "All ya gotta do is do some handy work around here and harvest some apples by hitting the trees." Cybe looked to her and walked to a nearby tree with baskets underneath. He looked up at he tree and readied his metal fist, when it made contact Cybe made sure to only use enough force to shake the tree and not punch through it. All the apples fell from the tree and landed in the baskets. Cybe turned to Applejack who was smiling while the other girls marvelled at his strength.
"Ya see sugarcube, just come by tomorrow and work a couple of hours and then ya can walk away with a big 'ol bag of bits." Cybe thought for a moment.
"That would take care of the currency problem, I accept." Applejack cheered and walked over to her house.
"Well it was nice meetin ya Cybe, but ah gotta get some chores done. See ya here tomorrow at noon." She entered her home and only left one question floating in Cybe's mind.
"What about the ponies in town, it's not like I'm a common sight. I'm sure I'd just start a village wide panic." Twilight smiled.
"That's what our friend is for. Also, there is someone else you should meet." When she said that she heard a poof behind her. When she turned around it was the spirit of chaos himself.
"Twilight, glad I found you. You see I felt a magical disturbance last night and..." He trailed of when he saw Cybe. "Well well well, what have we got here." He warped beside Cybe who seemed to not be fazed by Discords sudden appearance. "You are a chaotic creature aren't you." He placed his eagle claw on Cybe's head and Cybe drifted into a world of his own.
"Discord, what in Tartarus are you doing?" Twilight yelled. Discord waved her off.
"Do you mind? We are having a conversation here." Discord closed his eyes and drifted off as well. They were both just standing there, motionless. When Cybe opened his eyes he seemed to be floating around in space. He was observing a comet when Discord appeared behind him. "Sorry about that, just thought we could use some privacy whilst we talk." Cybe looked at the creature that stood befor him, sensing no ill intentions from this strange figure, he proceeded to introduce himself.
"Hello, my name is Cybe Catcher. Who might you be?" Discords ears flicked when he heard this.
"I am Discord. Why are you not asking what I am and not cowering in fear?" Cybe looked to him and stared him dead in the eye.
"I have a feeling you can see for yourself." Discord clapped his claw and paw together.
"Right you are, won't be a moment." He vanished for a second and then reappeared with a shocked expression. "Oh my..." He stared at Cybe how was just standing there calmly. "How can you maintain a healthy state of mind after what you've been through. Most people would go insane or fall into deep depression." Cybe looked at him and saw something within Discord, somehow he saw a piece of himself.
"What happened to you Discord, why do I see pain within you?" Discord sighed and summoned two armchairs. Discord began explaining his past, his memories and his pain. If Cybe allowed him to see his past, he might as well return the favour.
Meanwhile the girls were staring at the two lifeless figures with slight confusion. After a few minutes the two woke from their trance. Discord had a tear forming in his eye. They shook hands and Discord teleported away. The girls stood with their jaws to the floor. No one had ever managed to make Discord cry, no one. Twilight regained her composure and walked over to Cybe.
"Um, what just happened?" Cybe looked down at her.
"Let's just say Discord and I have something in common." Twilight just shook her head. This boy is something else, not just because he's an alien. He's managed to get Fluttershy to open up to him in seconds and even got Discord emotional. she thought to herself.
"Would you mind coming with me to town, I sent a message to our friend and she will be here soon." Cybe nodded. He picked up Jewel and motioned Twilight to take the lead. The remaining ponies followed behind them. Twilight looked up to him. "What is it with you Cybe?"
"Hmm?" He looked down to Twilight in confusion.
"When you first met us, you didn't even know who we were. Yet, you were polite and graceful. Even to complete strangers, aliens no less. So what is it, what made you so polite and kind?" Cybe looked up to the sky, he took a whiff of the air through his nose.
"Just before my parents were killed by the fire, my mother made me promise to be kind and caring. No matter who or what, I was always to be polite. It was the way I was raised. I never fought, I never argued, I just went on greeting each day with a smile. Even on that day." Twilight was speechless, as were the girls. Jewel hugged her brothers head as he stroked her hair. Twilight regained her composure and smiled.
"I know that you and Celestia are gonna get on just fine." Cybe looked back at her.
"The friend you were talking about earlier, it was the princess?" Twilight grinned and nodded. "Huh, in one day I get sent to another dimension, fight a pack of Timberwolves, crash land in a town of ponies, meet a spirit of chaos and now I'm going to meet a monarch. What a day this has been." Rainbow flew infront of him while looking at him surprised.
"Woah woah hold up, you fought a pack of timberwolves by yourself?" Cybe nodded and Raibows jaw hung open. "Dude, can you get anymore awesome?" Cybe rolled his eyes and continued walking. Once they reached town he looked at Jewel who's clothes were torn a little.
"We will be needing to get you some new clothes sis, those ones won't do." Rarity burst into a smile that should have torn her face apart.
"I believe I can help with that darling, you see I own a boutique just down the road. I can have her a new outfit made by the time Celestia has departed. Is it ok if I take Jewel off your hands for awhile, just so I can get some measurements done?" Cybe nodded. "Excellent, you will have to stop by yourself if you are in need of clothing." Cybe looks to Twilight.
"Do you have a piece of paper and a quil?" Twilight nodded and levitated a scroll and feather to his hands. He jotted down some notes and handed the scroll to Rarity. "These are my own measurements as well as basics to human clothing." Rarity took the scroll and floated Jewel onto her back and gracefully trotted down the path.
Twilight led Cybe to a nearby clearing, with Rainbow and Pinkie following behind them. Pinkie properly introduced herself to Cybe, while they were waiting Cybe told Pinkie about celebrations that took place on earth and what parties were like for humans. A few minutes later they could see a carriage flying towards them. "The princess is on that carriage?" Cybe asked. Twilight gave him a nod. A few seconds later, the carriage landed a few feet away from the group. The door of the carriage opened to reveal a tall white alicorn with a a flowing mane. She held the mark of the sun on her flank. Twilight ran to meet her, they pulled in for a long hug. When they separated Twilight walked over to Cybe.
"Princess, I would like to introduce you to Cybe." Cybe walked over to Celestia and bowed respectfully.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Princess Celestia." Celestia giggled.
"Rise Cybe, there is no need for that." Cybe rose to his feet.
"Sorry, it's just where I come from if we meet a member of royalty, we must pay respects." Celestia was surprised at how polite this strange creature befor her was. To think that ponies were only kind to her because of her status, but the politeness of Cybe was genuine. It was just part of his personality.
"Well, I have some free time. Why don't we talk over some tea and cake?" Cybe nodded.
"That sounds wonderful princess."
"Please, call me Celestia." Cybe nodded and motioned her to take the lead. Twilight had her jaw to the floor. This guy has done more in a day than I have in a year she thought. he's done a better job at making friends than I have.
Celestia brought him to sugarcube corner, on the way there Cybe noticed that no ponies were in town. Ok wait just a god damn minute.
Editor: what's wrong?
Narrator: what isn't wrong, the author is using ponyville just like hasbro is using them.
Editor:how so?
Narrator: Hasbro has treated the background ponies like puppets for the past four seasons. Only using them as victims to the plot.
Editor: your point?
Narrator: don't you think it's a little to convenient that no ponies are walking around town?
Editor: you do realise that the readers can here us right?
Narrator: No they ca...oh your right.
Editor: you better run before the author finds out you've been taking out you fan rage on his story.
Narrator: and why shouldn't you run?
Editor: it's hard to replace me, he can always replace you.

Editor: don't worry readers, author is against foalcon. Well it looks like I'll just have to narrate for now.
When they entered sugarcube corner Mrs Cake was sitting at the counter. When she looked to Celestia her eyes grew wide in suprise.
"Oh, princess Celestia. What a lovely suprise, what can I do for you?"
"Good afternoon Ms Cake. Could you get some tea and cake for me and my guest here?" Ms Cake looked past Celestia and spotted Cybe, her eyes grew wide with shock. Cybe stepped forward and gave a small bow.
"Hello there ma'am, my name is Cybe." Ms Cake gulped. "Please do not be scared, I will not harm you. I'm friendly." She looked to Celestia who gave a nod, Ms Cake composed herself.
"Well if you are a friend of the princess, you're a friend of mine. So, what kind of cake would you like?"
"What would you recommend?" She thought for a moment.
"I would recommend the strawberry chip cake."
"That sounds lovely, thank you." She nodded and turned to Celestia.
"And what would you like Princess?"
"I will have your triple chocolate cake." Ms Cake smiled and went to prepare their orders. Celestia walked to a booth beside a window and sat down, Cybe doing the same. "So Cybe, tell me, what are you? I'm very curious, I've seen many creatures in my time but none like you before." Cybe explained to her where he came from and what he was. "Fascinating, I didn't even think it was possible to travel dimensions. You said a strange object brought you here, can you describe it?" Cybe nodded.
"It was a black gemstone, it looked like a four pointed star." Celestia thought for a moment.
"I think I know somepony who will know what the gem was." Cybe took a sip of his tea.
"Who?"
"My brother, he always handles strange objects, I think I once saw him with a gem like the one that brought you here." Cybe nodded in understanding. "Cybe, if you don't mind me asking, how did you acquire those metal limbs?" Cybe sighed.
"I lost my legs and right arm to a fire that killed my parents. After a month some men came by my hospital room and offered to give me artificial limbs so I could take care of my little sister who was brought here with me. So I took them up on their offer, and that's how I got these robotic parts." Celestia looked amazed.
"You replaced your limbs with metal just so you could care for your sister?" Cybe nodded.
"There was a problem. I was the prototype for an operation that would combine man and machine. It was ment to save lives and give people another chance to have working body parts. However, after the two hundredth and fiftieth operation, a virus of sorts broke lose. You see, in order for the parts to work, people needed something planted in their brains. A computer chip, it sent signals from the brain to the artificial limbs so they could move. The virus affected the chips, sending the cyborgs on an uncontrollable rampage. The government tried everything to calm them down, but nothing was working. So, in order to insure the safety of the people, the cyborgs had to be destroyed. I was unaffected by the virus, because I was fitted with outdated technology. Once they new the virus only affected new cyborgs, I was sent to stop them." Cybe stares at his tea. "I remember it like it was yesterday. I was outfitted with weapons and gadgets. I was dropped off at a ruined city known as New York, or Manhattan if you will. While the military handled evacuation, I was given the task to destroy every last one of the cyborgs. And I completed that task. I am the only cyborg left, the last of my kind, now only wanting to protect my sister. That is my story." Celestia was speechless, never has she met a creature with such a tragic past. Not only did he lose his parents, he was forced to wipe out his own kind.
"Cybe, I won't say I've been through what you had to go through. But I also have made sacrifices for the greater good. I had to banish an entire empire because a tyrant had taken over, I also had to banish my own sister to the moon."
"The Nightmare Moon incident?"
"How do you know about that?" Cybe explained how he was able to gather information.
"Don't worry, I didn't touch your dairy Celestia." She giggled and rose from her seat.
"I think it's time to introduce you to the town Cybe." Cybe stood up and held the door for her. "You are such a gentlecolt."
"Is that a bad thing?" Celestia giggled and trotted to the centre of town where a stage was set up.
"Cybe, why do you have a metal mask covering the bottom half of your face?"
"Another thing I lost in the fire was my voice, I also have scars on my cheeks. This mask hides the scars and allows me to speak. I can open it to show my mouth but while it is open I cannot talk. I also lost an eye in the fire, it was replaced as well."
"Interesting." They reached the back of the stage. "I must find Twilight, please remain behind the curtain while I'm gone." Celestia flew towards the library leaving Cybe on his own. He was about to enter backstage when he heard a loud skidding noise and a crash. He ran to the cause of the disturbance where he found an orange pegasus filly lying in a pile of broken planks.
"Excuse me, are you alright? Do you need help?" The filly rose shakily out of the rubble.
"Nah, I'm good. Thanks for asking mister..." She got a good look at him. "Oh...my...gosh."
"Please, don't be scared, I won't harm you." She sprang up letting her wings buzz in excitement.
"OH MY GOSH YOU LOOK SO COOL, ARE YOU A ROBOT?" She shouted with amazement.
Looks like I'm dealing with a Tom boy He thought to himself. "I am half robot, my name is Cybe Catcher, who might you be?" She calmed down a little.
"Oh, my name is Scootaloo." Cybe looked at her tiny wings and then to her scooter.
"Makes sense I suppose." Scootaloo narrowed her eyes.
"What's THAT supposed to mean?" Cybe waved it off.
"Nothing, nothing. Say, why are you out here all alone. Where are your parents?" She dropped her smile and looked to the ground.
"My parents died when I was little." Cybe sat down beside her.
"I guess we have something in common then."
"What?"
"I lost my parents too. I've been caring for my sister in their place for almost three years." She looked up at him.
"Really?"
"Yeah, but I try not to dwell on it to much. If I did I would just be a sad strange little robot." He looked to her. "Scootaloo, where do you live exactly?" She was caught by suprise.
"U-u-uh, I-I live at the orphanage. Y-yeah, the orphanage." Cybe raised an eyebrow.
"You live on the streets don't you?" She sighed and nodded her head. He put his claw to his chin and thought.The girls said I'd be getting my own house soon, and I'm sure Jewel would love a friend her age here, why not. "Scootaloo, why don't you come live with me and my sister." She looked at him with hopeful eyes.
"Really, you want me to live with you?" Cybe nodded, a smile growing behind his mask. "Of course, thank you Cybe, thank you so much." Her wings began to buzz again, Cybe noticed this.
"What are you doing with your wings?" She blushed and returned her wings to her sides.
"Hehehe, they do that sometimes. I can never get them to fly though." Cybe thought for a moment, he had an idea.
"If you keep doing that you'll never fly."
"WHAT?"
"You're not putting enough force on your wings, you just keep wildly flapping them."
"Well then what do I do?" He walked up to her and pulled one of her wings out to examine.
"First, slow your wings pace, secondly try spreading your feathers a little." She nodded and set herself into the flying position. She spread her wings farther out and began flapping her wings slowly. She picked up some speed and managed to get her hooves off the ground by a few inches. She then landed on her hooves again panting.
"I-I did it, even if it was just a little, I flew." She turned to Cybe and wrapped her legs around his neck. "Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!" Cybe chuckled and patted her back. He rested her on her shoulder.
"Come on, I've got to meet the princess at the back of the stage in town." Her eyes widened.
"You met the princess?"
"Well let's face it, I'm not exactly a normal sight, even for Equestria. Here I'm an alien. I don't come from this world."
"So you're a robo alien?"
"Pretty much."
"Cool!" Cybe chuckled and walked to the backstage area where Celestia was waiting for him with a stern look on her face.
"I told you to stay here." Cybe rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Sorry Celestia, I was going to wait for you but somepony here had a terrible crash." He pointed to Scootaloo who was chucking nervously. "I couldn't just stand there and do nothing." Celestia shook her head and sighed.
"What is she doing here anyway, shouldn't she be with her parents?" Both Cybe and Scoots flinched a little.
"You see Celestia that's the thing, she's an orphan and lives on the streets. So I've decided to take her under my wing for now." He ruffled her mane and scratched behind her ear, which she enjoyed. Celestia seemed taken back by this, if she had known that Scootaloo was homeless she would have done something.
"Well then, she can stand beside you when I introduce you to ponyville." Cybe nodded and walked over to the curtain. When he peeked through a gap he saw a crowd of ponies gathered in front of the stage, to the side he saw the bearers of the Elements of Harmony standing in line.
where's Jewel? He looked over to an alleyway and spotted her talking with two fillies. One was a unicorn with green eyes, the other was an earth pony with a big red bow.Looks like she's already made some friends. He smiled and turned to Celestia. "Is it time?" She nodded and Scoots walked to his side. She then nuzzled his leg which made him smile behind his mask.
Celestia walked out from the curtain to face the crowd. "Attention my little ponies. I have gathered you her today for an announcement of great importance. Ponyville has new residents, any they are very special. They are like nothing Equestria has ever seen. And I can assure you that they will not hurt you or anypony. I give you my word as a princess." This caused the crowd to whisper. "However, only one of them will appear before you today as the other is quite shy. This being landed in ponyville last night and has shown nothing but kindness and respect to the ponies he has met so far. Now without further ado, I would like to introduce you all to Cybe Catcher."
The curtains were pulled away by Celestia's magic, revealing Cybe. This caused multiple gasps from the crowd. Although some of the ponies acted differently.
"That guy looks awesome!" Yelled Vinyl Scratch.
"See Bon-Bon, I told you they exist." You already know who that is.
"How can he be here?" Mumbled Doctor Whooves.
"He looks interesting, doesn't he Doctor?" Said Derpy.
Celestia walked to Cybe's side. "Cybe is what is called a human. He comes from a planet called Earth. He also stopped an uprising on his home planet all on his own." Vinyl took off her glasses.
"He just got even more awesome."
"It's definitely him." Mumbled the Doctor.
Celestia placed a wing around Cybe. "Cybe will be living in ponyville from now on, until we find a way to send him back home again. So I want you all to make him feel welcome and to know he is a friend of the royal family." She walked over to Mayor Mare. "Mayor, I believe we have some business to take care of." The mare nodded and followed Celestia to town hall. Many ponies walked up to Cybe to welcome him to the town. He wasn't expecting the ponies to be so accepting. He met a pony that spiked his interest, a grey earth pony with straight black hair and a bow tie. She said her name was Octavia and that she was a musician. She seemed polite, very sofisticated and very laid back. He told her that he'd love to hear her play sometime and they seemed to bond right then and there. The next one that stood out was her friend who seemed to be the exact opposite of Octavia. From what he could tell she was a DJ.
When he was done greeting the townsfolk he walked to the town hall. When he entered Celestia had just finished signing a contract. "Ah, there you are Cybe, I have your housing situation under control. We just need your signature." He signed his name in three different places and was shown a map with three X's on different areas. These marks represented three different houses. Cybe chose the one just outside of ponyville overlooking a meadow. The Mayor gave him the deed and the keys to his new home. He was about to leave when he turned back to Mayor Mare.
"Mayor, if there is anything I can do for you just let me know." She nodded and resumed signing some documents. He picked up Jewel and Scootaloo. He introduced them and they seemed to hit it off easily. When they reached their new home, Cybe unlocked the door and walked on. He flipped a switch on the wall and looked at his new living room. It had three dark blue sofas and a coffee table. It also had a fire place and a bookshelf. The kitchen was just like any other. They went upstairs where he yelled. "I CALL DIBS ON THE BIG BEDROOM." Jewel and Scoots sighed in defeat. "Don't look so down, you two get to share a bedroom." He led them into their room where there were two beds, a armchair, a nightstand and a wardrobe. "Well good night you two, this cyborgs gotta get some shuteye." When he left them they climbed into their beds and faced each other.
"I thought he was always polite." Scootaloo whispered. Jewel shook her head.
"He can get like that when he wants to, you'll find he's really surprising, I'm still trying to figure him out."
"I heard that." Cybe called from down the hall.
Cybe sat on the end of his bed. His room had a dresser, an armchair, a king sized bed, two bedside tables and a closet. He also had a balcony that looked over ponyville. He walked out and watched over the town. "Guess I'll be calling this place my home now." He saw a pony flying towards him. "Hi there Fluttershy." She landed beside him.
"Hi there Cybe, how are you getting settled in to your new home."
"Alright, you know for a new home it has a lot of furniture. Not a lot of decorations though, but they'll come in time." Fluttershy was petting an owl that landed on the railings.
"I heard you took Scootaloo in. That was nice of you." Cybe nodded.
"You should probably get home, it's getting late." Fluttershy shuffled her hooves.
"Um, Cybe. Would you like to stop by my cottage tomorrow for some tea?" She pointed to a cottage in the nearby meadow.
"That sounds lovely Fluttershy. I will stop by after my shift at Applejack's." She blushed and started to fly away. "Good night Fluttershy." She waved and flew away. He walked back inside and entered his bed. He wrapped his blanket over him and closed his eyes. He began to recharge himself. He didn't have to be in his sphere to recharge as the sphere was just a defence mechanism. He had a long day.

Shard's story pt. 1-Dancing blades
Shards backstory
Before the events of C-day, Shard was learning martial arts and swordsmanship. He always had a strange fascination for swords, by the age of ten he could wield a small blade expertly. Seeing that he held much potential, his parents signed him up for training in Japan. Now, there is something you should know about Shard, he was born with orange hair and eyes. The doctors summed it to a chemical imbalance. He was also born with sharper senses, especially sight and hearing.
When he turned eleven he started his training at a dojo in Tokyo. Over the course of the next six years, he became a professional martial artist and swordsman. He competed in many tournaments and won almost every time. His name became known all over Japan, although he never liked the attention, he was in it for the swords. With each tournament he won he was given a new sword to add to his collection.
After his training he returned to New York with his family. After hearing about the cyborg project Shard wondered if it was a good idea or not. No one in his family applied for the operation since none of them where missing a limb.
Many weeks later the computer virus broke out and Shards home was destroyed along with his sword collection. As he was being guided to the evacuation point a cyborg was charging at them, a pretty big one too. Just before the mindless machine could strike him another cyborg came out of nowhere and sent the beast flying. Shard thought that all of the Cyborgs had gone mad, but this one was protecting him.
"Go, I'll hold it off." Was all that he said before charging the large cyborg in front of him. Shard turned to a soldier.
"Who was that?"
"That was Cybe Catcher, don't worry he's on our side." Shard looked back to see Cybe throw the cyborg halfway across Broadway. Cybe then rushed into the ruins of Shards house and pulled out a sword. He rushed over to Shard and placed it in his hands.
"Thank you." Cybe nodded and charged off down the street to another cyborg. Shard looked down at the sword given to him, it was the first sword he had won in a tournament. He never got a good look at Cybe, but he felt in his debt for saving his life and retrieving his last sword.
After C-day, Shard moved back to Japan to continue his training. He began collecting swords again and was on the hunt for rare swords. Let's move to the present day shall we. Shard was currently searching a cave on Mt. Fuji, Shard had changed his style of clothing as well. He wore a black leather jacket with bright orange fur around the collar and wrists, black jeans and black trainers with orange stripes. He was holding a book in his hand that was given to him by a weapon merchant.
"Ok, if this is correct, then the sword should be right down this cavern." He carefully walked down the cave, making sure not to trip over any loose rocks. After five minutes of walking he came across a large open space, with steps leading up to a pedestal. His sight was fixed on the sword at the top of the stone monument. He walked up to the top to find a dusty sword. "There it is, the ancient sword, Flames of Disaster. Not the most original name but I'll take it." He dusted off the blades scabbard to see patterns of flame carved in the black wood. When he pulled the blade out of its home, he was greeted by a black and orange glow. When his eyes adjusted, he stared at the blade, it was blank and orange and seemed to be burning, but did not harm him. "Interesting." He gave the sword a swing to see a trail of fire appear behind it. "Woah." He returned the blade to its scabbard and began to walk back down the steps. He stopped when he heard something dropping behind him.
He turned back to see a small black gemstone laying on the pedestal. When he touched it a bright light enveloped him. He shielded his eyes and turned away. When the light faded he found himself falling from the sky. "WHAT THE HELL!?" He noticed the ground approaching very fast. He braced for an impact that never came, when he opened his eyes he was floating just inches above the ground. He dropped to the floor and immediately shot up to his feet. He looked around, trying to make sense of what just happened.
When he turned around he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him, a large blue alicorn with flowing hair was standing before him. After rubbing his eyes he looked again, the pony was still there. "Um...hello?"
"Hello there." He jumped in shock and looked at the mare surprised.
"You can talk?"
"Yes, I can talk, just like everyone else on this world." He didn't know how to process this, there was a talking pony standing in front of him. "Who might you be, I've never seen a creature like you before?" He decided to just roll with it.
"Uh...my name is Shard Storm, I'm a human. Who might you be?"
"I am Princess Luna, co-ruler of Equestria. It is a pleasure to meet you Shard Storm." He had no idea what was going on.
"Um, I don't mean any disrespect Princess but I'm have a hard time processing this."
"In what way?"
"Well, I was looking for a long lost blade that for some reason emits fire, a black four pointed star gem came out of nowhere, said gem sent me falling to my death and now there is a talking pony standing in front of me. Explain to me how that is not weird." Luna stopped paying attention after she heard 'four pointed star gem.' Her pupils shrank in realisation, she had to get this creature to her brother, fast.
"Shard, I promise that everything will be explained in time, but I need you to come with me to see my brother." She grabbed his hand with her magic and began to lead him to the castle, Shards body went into autopilot as he was busy trying to make sense of the situation.
They arrived at a large orange door at the end of a large hallway, Shards body returned to its normal control. "So your brother knows about what brought me here?" He asked curiously. Luna knew her brother would know more about the gem that brought him here, well, more than her anyway.
"Yes, if there is anypony that will know about the gem, it's my brother." She knocked the door expecting her brother to answer, but five minutes later they were still waiting. She pushed the door open to see her brothers lab in ruin. "Eclipse, where are you?!" There was a shift in a pile of fallen books. Luna rushed over and began digging through the books with her magic, Shard helping her. When they scrapped the last book away a stallion lay on his stomach, opening his eyes groggily.
"L-Luna, is that...you?" He tried to stand up but failed.
"Yes brother, it's me, what happened here?" He managed to get to his feet, Eclipse was only slightly taller than Luna, his coat was pitch black and his mane was flowing with a bright orange colour. When he looked to Luna he coughed.
"A black mist...came out of...nowhere...destroyed the lab...couldn't fight back...it took the star." Luna played the image in her mind, she then cast a healing spell on him. "Thank you sis." He looked around at the ruined laboratory, his eyes fell on Shard. "I see the mist has already made use of the star." He slowly walked up to the human. "I am so sorry you had to get dragged into this."
"Um, I don't think it's your fault." He extended his hand. "I'm Shard, nice to meet you, Luna said you could explain what brought me here." Eclipse returned the gesture and sighed.
"Yes, the gem that brought you here is called The Reality Star, an object that can pull something into any alternate reality." He closed his eyes. "And lock them out of their own." Shard let those words swirl in his mind until he understood.
"You mean, that gem...locked me out of my own reality?" Both Eclipse and Luna nodded sadly. Shard looked to the blade on his back, he held it in his hands tightly. "I'm alone here, aren't I?" Eclipse shook his head.
"Whatever has taken the star will not stop at just with one reality pull, we should expect some visitors from other worlds soon, hopefully they are not evil." Shard was starting to get the impossible picture that was being painted before him, although part if him refused to believe it. He was stuck in a world where there are magical ponies. He wanted to pass out, hopefully waking up back home, but he knew that it was real. Eclipse took a good look at Shard then glanced at his sword.
"I know this isn't an appropriate time for jokes, but you two have the same colour schemes." Luna pointed out. They both stared at Luna and then at each other.
"She's right." They both said in unison.
"You both wield swords too." She giggled, both males were trying to process what was going on. Eclipse cleared his throat.
"It might be possible that Shard is my counterpart from his reality, either that or it's just coincidence." Eclipse lifted something with his magic from a broken bookshelf, it was a sword. "If you do in truth know how to wield a sword then I would like to challenge you to a friendly competition." He unsheathed his blade to reveal another black and orange blade. "What do you say?" Shard mentally shrugged, there was no harm in it.
"I say I'm confused out of my mind right now, but I accept your challenge." He looked around at the ruined laboratory. "We might want to move to a more appropriate location first." They all nodded and walked out of the theatrical war zone.
They entered the guard barracks where a large open area was built for combat sessions, the room was currently empty due to the time. Luna took a seat next to the armoury storage. Eclipse and Shard stood at opposite ends of the combat area. Their swords drawn.
"Ready?" Eclipse asked.
"You bet." They grinned and charged at each other, their blades met sending sparks flying. The were both putting as much force as they could into staggering their opponent. They were thrown backwards, after catching some breath the charged towards each other, not meeting in the middle but taking turns dodging and attacking.
Shard stepped back a thrust his blade forward, causing Eclipse to be put on the defensive. Shard continued to push Eclipse back, he noticed something about his sword. For some reason the blade did not ignite, he held his hand out signalling for Eclipse to stop blocking his attacks. "Hold on a second, when I first got this sword it was able to create fire, but now it's not emitting anything." Eclipse sheathed his sword and took Shards blade to examine it. He felt a strange energy around the blade.
"Luna, could you help me isolate this energy source?" Luna walked over to her brother, their magics intertwined and the blade started floating in the air. After several seconds of scanning the sword they set the blade back into Shards hands. "The energy seems to be coming directly from the blade, but I sensed something else."
"As did I brother. It's almost as if the sword..."
was alive?. All three of them jumped when they heard a deep voice come from the sword.
"Did...did the sword just...talk?" Asked Shard with confusion.
Indeed I did Shard. They all stared at the blade. Prehaps I should introduce myself, I am Flames of Disaster, although you may call me Flame.
"I take it that you know our names?"
Yes, I overheard your introduction so let's not waste time with formalities as there is much to discuss. the group nodded. I think we should start with how I was created, you may be shocked to know that I was forged in Equestria. Shard looked unfazed as nothing could possibly surprise him at this point, Eclipse rubbed his chin and Luna looked dumbstruck. As for how I was brought into the human world, that would be the doing of the Elements of Harmony. My flames were seen as dangerous and Celestia used the Elements to seal me away until I was needed, it just was just dumb luck that brought me here along with Shard. a Shard nodded, even though he had no idea what was going on and was silently piecing together the impossible puzzle that was his predicament. When I was transported to the human world I gained a consciousness and could communicate with any human that wielded me, and now that Shard and you two have held me I can now talk to you telepathically. Shard was pondering the idea of having his sword talking to him during battle, it could come as a distraction but could have some benefits. One question was circling his mind though.
"Why wouldn't you ignite when I was using you in that battle just now?"
I did not wish to bring harm to the Prince, he may have dodged your blows but if I was burning he could have been fatally injured. Walk over to that practice dummy and take a swing. Shard did as Flame instructed and slashed the doll, leaving the dummy burning. I can control wether or not my flames will be used in combat, to avoid and harm to the co-ruler of this land I deactivated my ignition. Shard seemed surprised that a sword could decide whether or not to cause a fatal blow. He was slowly starting to understand the situation and how Flame operated.
"One thing I want to ask you two." Eclipse and Luna turned to him. "Where am I going to stay?" Luna thought for a moment before Eclipse suggested that he could stay in the lab as Eclipse wanted to analyse him further, he accepted due to the fact that he basically had no other options.
"I suggest that you stay with Eclipse in his lab until we can explain to Celestia what has happened, after all you are possibly the only one of your kind here." They all nodded and separated and went to their sleeping arrangements. Once Eclipse, Shard and Flame were in the lab Eclipse cast a spell and everything in the lab was repaired.
"There is a spare bed over there." Eclipse pointed to the corner of the room where a storable bed was leaning against the wall. They stayed up a little while longer to talk about each other's worlds, such as basic history and cultural differences. Flame stayed silent during all of this as he was trying to reconnect with the magical leylines.
Little did they know that a humanoid figure surrounded by a red aura was watching these events unfold.
That makes two, the third should be arriving soon enough. It let out a maniacal laugh. The pieces are coming together, all that's left to do is to choose their companions for the plan to come together. I should also head back to my reality to make sure Symbol had his vision. With a flash of light the figure disappeared.
Celestia was signing some paperwork when Luna walked into the throne room. "Sister, the star has been stolen." Celestia dropped the scroll that was held by her magic. Things would be changing in Equestria, there was much work to be done.
"Luna, has anything appeared yet?" She nodded nervously. "Have you made contact with it?"
"Yes, he is with Eclipse right now."
"Is he dangerous?"
"His combat skills are expressive but he has no intention of harming us or anypony else."
"How do you know this?"
"I scanned his thought patterns and he has proven to be friendly."
"I trust your judgement Luna, but please keep an eye on this creature."
"This isn't your normal state of mind sister, is the situation really that dangerous?
"Luna, we do not know what has taken the star or what will be pulled into this reality, I will inform the Elements of the situation tomorrow, please get some rest and be wary of the creature." Luna nodded and retreated to her chamber. Celestia let out a sigh and rubbed her face with her hooves. "Just when I didn't need anything to go wrong." She walked over to a window and stared at the Everfree forest, a yellow glow radiated from the unholy land of thorns for a split second. "Looks like something else has arrived just outside of ponyville, I hope it's not dangerous." Celestia sat on her throne, trying to think of the best course of action.

Everyone collapsed to the ground after a long day of acting, all except for Cybe and Omega.
Shard: Did we really have to rush that?
Celestia: I didn't even do that much and I'm exhausted.
Narrator: Come on guys it wasn't that bad.
Author: Easy for you to say, all you had to do was speak the entire time, these guys had to act out everything.
Narrator: This is a story for people to read, why do they even need to act?
Before Author could retort the Editor walked through the door.
Editor: I've finished editing chapter four boss. Whoa, what happened here?
Luna: We had to rush out the fourth chapter because it was taking so long.
Omega: At least it was good for a rushed segment, just don't let it be like Sonic 06.
Author: Isn't Symbol meant to be the one that makes those references?
Omega: I have a right to complain, SEGA made my act like a freaking Microsoft product!
Author: Anyways guys, you can all go home and rest for the rest of the week, we are currently working on the next chapter of Second Universe so we only need Symbol, Octavia, Vinyl, Lyra, Bonbon, Derpy and Aloe and Lotus to come in tomorrow,
Everyone sighed in relief.
Cybe: Well, me, Omega and Discord are gonna have a guy's night, anyone else want in?
Dr. Whooves: Count me in.
Shard: I might as well join you since I need to get to know you guys better.
Eclipse: Sounds like fun.
Editor: I'll just finish up here then I'll join you.
Author: Before you all go, I just want to welcome Shard and Omega to the project, glad you guys could make it.
Omega: It's better to be here doing something productive than waiting for the next time SEGA wants to replace my voice with a speak and spell.
Shard: No problem.
Suddenly the door burst open.
Symbol: Hey guys.
Author: Oh hey there Symbol, what can I do for you?
Symbol: We need Narrator of at SU, we're about to shoot.
Narrator: But I just finished up here! I have a life too you know!
Symbol: Yeah and I liked to point out the flaws in humanity in my spare time but can't do that anymore, get your ass in the recording room.
Editor: Is it just me or does he sound a lot like Author?
Author: Well he is my cousin.
All: WHAT?!
Symbol: Easy guys, I'd like to keep my hearing as long as I can before I hear Luna's royal Canterlot voice.
Luna: hey!
Symbol: Easy there moon bottom.
Luna: Why you little!
Luna lunges forward only to be knocked back by an invisible wall.
Luna: What the?
Symbol: Main character invincibility.
Everyone left the room except for Editor, Symbol and Narrator.
Editor: Do you need me to go with you guys?
Symbol: Nah, we just need punching bag over here.
Editor burst out laughing while Narrator put on a frown.
Narrator: Why do I still work here?
Symbol: Because if we didn't hire your sorry ass you'd be stuck reading foalcon for a living.
A shiver went down Narrators spine with memories of his old job.
Narrator: Why Bab Seed, what did Silver spoon ever do to you?
Editor: Great, now he's broken.
Symbol: I got it.
Symbol slapped Narrator across the face, snapping him out of his nightmare.
Symbol: Better?
Narrator stayed silent and nodded.
Symbol: Good, now get over to SU before you freak out again.
Narrator slowly walked out of the room.
Editor: You are related to Author.
Symbol: We get it from our grandparents.
Shard's story pt. 2-Playing with fire
Shard and Eclipse were sleeping soundly while Flame was reconnecting to the magical leylines.
I forgot how complicated this could be
Suddenly a bright light appeared at the corner of the room, when the light died down the figure of a young woman was standing there with her hands joined.
Who are you?
Relax, I am a friend, I am here to give you a message
What is the message?
When the darkness becomes too great for Shard to handle, my son will appear to help restore the balance. Remember these words. their meaning will become clear in time
I will, thank you
With that the girl transformed into a ball of light and flew through a wall. Flame was questioning the meaning behind the girls words, having no choice but to trust her, he put the thought to the back of his subconscious. He then returned to trying to reconnect to the leylines, only to find the energy no naturally flowing into him.
Just who was that girl?
A few hours later Shards eyes creeped open, he sat up and stretched his arms out while yawning. He looked to Eclipse who was starting to waken up, he then looked to Flame who was leaned against the wall.
Good evening you two, I trust you had a pleasant sleep
"Yeah, I haven't slept that good in years, this mattress is super comfortable." He swung his legs to dangle off the edge of the bed. "Wait, did you say evening?"
Yes, you slept for a good sixteen hours, Eclipse needed some rest after he was attacked and your body was drained of most of its energy when we crossed the portal
"I...guess that makes sense." He turned his attention to Eclipse. "How you feeling?"
"Better, I should be back to normal by morning, for now let's get something to eat." Both of their stomachs grumbled in agreement. "Come on, I'll have the chefs make you something." Shard picked up Flame and strapped him to his back. They exited the lab to see Luna heading towards them. She smiled and waved.
"Good evening you three."
"Hey Luna."
"Hey sis."
Hello again princess
"I trust you all slept well?" Shard and Eclipse nodded.
Yes, it was very pleasant
"Well then, let's get you something to eat, Celestia is waiting in the dining hall." Luna was about to lead them to the dining room when she remembered what Flame told them yesterday. "Flame, I think you should stay silent during our meals."
I understand Luna
She nodded her head and started walking down the unnecessarily long hallway and they all eventually reached their destination. The guards looked unsure about Shard but let him pass, after being assured by Luna of course. When they entered the saw Celestia looking at them with a relaxed smile.
"Sister, you seem...happier since last night. Did something happen?" Celestia chuckled.
"Yes, I visited ponyville earlier this morning and had a lovely chat with someone new." She motioned for them to sit down, she turned her attention to Shard. "I don't believe we've met, I am princess Celestia, but you can call me Celestia." She extended a hoof which Shard took in his hand.
"My name is Shard Storm, it is a pleasure to meet you prin...er, Celestia." Celestia giggled at his mistake and retreated her hoof, when he turned to take his seat she spotted the blade on his back.
"Is that the Flames of Disaster?" They all froze in place, all to scared to say anything. "It's alright, I had known that it would show up eventually, I just hope that you can wield it properly." Shard thought for a moment, he was about to say something when Flame suddenly spoke up.
It has been a long time Celestia
Celestia froze at the sound of the extra voice. "Who said that?" Shard unstrapped Flame from his back and placed him in front of her. "The sword has a consciousness?"
Indeed I do, the Elements of Harmony work in mysterious ways, when you sent me to Shards world I gained a soul. I am now able to communicate with anyone who has held me in any way
Celestia was surprised by these turn of events, she hadn't taken into account that Flame would gain a mind of its own. "If that is the case, I hope there is no hard feelings."
It's alright, you had your reasons and were just looking out for your subjects. I was dangerous and uncontrollable, you did what you had to do. Besides, now I have a worthy user
Celestia looked at Shard and he chuckled nervously. "Are you sure he can handle your power?"
Yes, he has already shown promise and is a master swordsman
"Very well. Shard, please be careful with him." He nodded and returned Flame to his back. He sat down and looked over the menu that was in front of him. "So, what would you like to eat?" He spotted something that he had not eaten in years.
"I'll have some waffles with the chocolate syrup." Celestia smiled and looked to her siblings.
"Same." The said in unison, Celestia chuckled.
"Alright, I guess it's four orders of chocolate waffles." They all shared a quick laugh. A few minutes later the chefs brought their meals, while the looked unsure about Shard, they have had to serve strange new creatures before.
"So Tia, you said you met someone new in ponyville, who was it?" Eclipse asked with curiosity.
"It was someone who was pulled by the star."
"Really, what was his name?" She swallowed her mouthful and placed her hoof to her chin.
"His name was Cybe Catcher." Shard spat out the water he was currently drinking.
"Did you just say Cybe Catcher!?"
"Y-yes, is something wrong?" Shard got up from his seat.
"Cybe Catcher saved my life once, he's a hero on my world!" He sat down with shock. "I can't believe he got dragged here as well."
"You know he's not proud of that battle?" Shard looked at Celestia with a raised eyebrow. "Do you think he feels like a hero?"
"He saved thousands of lives, he should feel like a hero." Celestia shook her head in sadness.
"During our chat, he told me that he regrets not being able to save all of those cyborgs, he may have saved many lives, but he also had to take many as well." This information was sinking in, and Celestia could tell. "Cybe and I have something in common, we both have had to make tough decisions for the greater good." She looked to Luna who was now saddened by the conversation, Eclipse was listening with great interest. "He is now haunted by the souls of those people, he holds onto the pain of the fallen, now wishing only to protect his sister." He thought for a moment, taking everything in, realisation hit him like a drunk driver.
How the hell could I be so blind, I saw the look in his eyes when he was facing that cyborg. Who in their right mind would ever want to do something like that?
It appears that he has learned not to rush to conclusions
Wait, you can read my thoughts?
"We all can." Eclipse stated casually after taking another bite of his waffles.
"That's...kind of creepy."
"Perhaps, just wanted to make sure you learned something."
Shard groaned, feeling like his mind was being violated. Celestia giggled and finished her meal. She told them that she had some more duties to attend to and after she would retire to her bedroom. They bid her goodnight and she left the room.
Um...can I ask you something Shard?
"Sure."
Could I...have a bite of your waffles?
The three of them stared at the sword and blinked at the same time.
"Uh...you can't eat anything, you're a sword." Luna stated with confusion.
Just set a piece beside me
Shard obliged, deciding to humour the blade. When he set Flame on the table he tore a piece of his waffle and placed it beside Flame. The piece then burst into flames and the flame was absorbed by the sword.
Ah, it's been so long since I've tasted anything
The three of them had eyes the size of dinner plates. "I...don't know what to think anymore." Shard stated in a tired voice. After everything that has happened in the past twenty four hours, he was ready to throw away his sanity. "I can tell that this is only the calm before the storm." He mumbled to himself.
Over the course of the evening, Luna and Eclipse showed Shard around the castle. He seemed interested in the Canterlot gardens, specifically the statues. He noticed one of the pillars had a vacant spot. "Hey, were is the statue that's meant to be there?" Eclipse looked to the empty pillar and sighed.
"The statue that was here was a stone prison to the spirit of chaos, Discord." Shard looked at him then to the pillar. "He was sealed in stone by the elements of harmony, he was released a few months ago and reformed by the element of kindness. He currently lives in ponyville. I suspect he might have already met that Cybe fellow." Shard nodded, deciding just to accept what this world threw at him.
"Shard, are you alright?" Asked Luna, noticing the troubled look on his face.
"I'm find Luna, it's just, all of this is a little hard to take in."
"How so?"
"I know that creatures like griffins, hydras and minotuars are a part of daily life here, but back on my world, we have no such creatures. We don't have magic, we don't have enchanted candles and we don't have spirits of chaos. All of those things are mythology on my world, and now I'm standing in a world surrounded by mythical creatures." Eclipse and Luna looked at each other, suddenly realising what Shard was talking about.
That is a lot to take in over the course of one day
"It is, I just need some time to recompose myself. You two go on ahead, we'll meet you back at the lab." Both ponies nodded and walking off. When they were out of ear-shot Shard let out a loud sigh, he slumped back against the empty pillar and put his hands to his face.
How is it that when you were being told all of this yesterday you were fine but now you're getting frustrated?
"I was probably too tired to react properly." That was the only explanation that Shard could come up with, but hey, it's better than saying he thought he was tripping out the entire time. With another sigh he straightened himself and began exploring the gardens. After passing a few rose bushes and greeting a few birds that flew by, he came across a clearing of grass. He sat down under a tree and unsheathed Flame, he set the scabbard on the ground and examined the blade. "You have an interesting design Flame, you don't get many custom blades these days."
What do you mean?
"I doubt that anyone has ever seen an orange blade before, and you seem to have a gem on the bottom of your grip. You look like you came straight out of an anime."
A what?
"An animated series created in Japan. Can be weird and goofy most of the time, but there are loads that are just pure and utter awesomeness."
I think you need to watch your grammar Shard, that made sense but at the same time it didn't
"Ok, I'll try, I'm not exactly the best when it comes to speech." After laying there for around 10 minutes they heard a high pitched scream. Shard jumped to his feet. "What in the hell was that?!"
It came from inside the woods, to the north of here
"I can't tell which way is north right now, just tell me which direction!"
To the right
Shard sheathed Flame and bolted towards the source of the screaming.
They came across a clearing where they saw a young mare with purple fur and a black mane backing away from three incect looking ponies.
Changelings! Quick, get them away from that little girl!
Shard didn't respond, he only unsheathed Flame and charged at the bug-like-ponies. He swung at the first one and it was sent flying back by a massive wave of fire. The other two stared in shock, one of them made a buzzing sound and multiple changelings appeared. The young mare hid behind a large tree. Once Shard knew she was safe he turned his attention to the hoard in front of him. There was easily one hundred changelings. "Looks like they recognise me as a threat." He spun Flame around with his hand and motioned the bugs to come at him. Five of the changelings at the front of the group charged at him, Shard positioned Flame over his head and struck the ground, causing a ring of fire to block the advance. "What the, how'd I know how to do that?"
I placed the move in your muscle memory, don't ask how, there should be many more that will activate on reflex
This time ten bugs charged him from multiple directions. Another reflex kicked in and Shard tilted his sword on the ground and shot the tip to the sky, causing a pillar of fire to shoot up and burn the bugs to ashes.
Point me towards the crowd while focusing on the pillar of fire
Shard followed the order and pointed at the crowd with Flame. The pillar of fire swirled in the air before plummeting to the ground, taking out 30 changelings. "Whoa." He looked at Flame and smiled. "I think this will be a good way to blow off some steam." He charged at the remaining changelings, once he was close enough he used the fire created by Flame to blast into the air. Once he started to descend he started spinning, he gathered enough momentum to create a tornado of fire.
That was...new
The burning twister sucked up half of the bugs and burned them to ashes. When he landed on the ground, Shard faced the last fifteen changelings. "Now that their numbers are down, let's finish them off with some good old fashioned swordplay."
Good, use skill and not brute force
Shard dashed at two of the bugs and sliced of their horns then slit their necks with a 360 spin. After dealing with the rest of the changelings, Shard looked to a nearby dust cloud, where a larger changeling stood. He was holding two cyrstalic blades and smirking. "I take it your their leader?"
The bug dashed right into Shard and Shard blocked his blades with Flame. They both smirked and traded blow for blow, perfectly dodging attacks and blocking when dodging wasn't an option. Shard noticed a pattern in his opponents form. Taking advantage of this he managed to stager his opponent, he then preformed a sword breaking move and shattered the changelings blades. He held his sword at the tip of the changelings throat. The bug sighed.
"I admit defeat, you were more observant and I let my confidence blind me." Shard saw the sincerity in his eyes and lowered his sword, he knew that if he struck down an opponent after they admitted defeat it would damage his honour.
"What's your name?"
"Incectia III." Shard sheathed Flame.
"Well, I'm glad to have met a worthy opponent. My name is Shard Storm. You are free to go, you are no longer a threat." He began to walk away.
"We will be seeing each other again Shard, remember that." Shard continued walking.
"I will." The changeling disappeared. Shard walked over to where the mare was hiding. He found her cowering behind a log. "Hey, it's ok, I won't hurt you." The mare looked at him unsure. "Don't worry, I only hurt bad guys like changelings." She looked back at him and walked over. She stood directly in front of him and rubbed her hoof nervously.
"Um, thank you for saving me..." She quickly planted a kiss on his cheek and speed of towards the castle. Shard just sat there, shocked by the sudden action and a slight blush on his face.
Equus to Shard, you in there?
Shard shook his head and chuckled. "This has been the craziest day of my life." He began the trek back to the lab, unaware that Celestia and Eclipse had been watching from a nearby cloud.
"Well, that happened." Eclipse placed his hoof to his muzzle. "To think he would spare a changeling after butchering so many."
"Indeed brother, it seems that his honour as a swordsman was at risk, something you should be familiar with." Eclipse nodded.
"We should probably set the guards on alert. It would seem that Chrysalis is planning something."
"That would be wise." They both flew towards the castle. Both unaware that their youngest sibling was watching from the shadows.
"Such power, to think that he can keep a healthy state of mind after that much bloodshed." She thought for a moment. "I think I found my knight."

Cybe: Thank you, I'm sure a lot of you are wondering why we are doing something like this, especially since we are only at 30 followers. The truth is that we see this as an accomplishment, we are glad that you guys are being so supportive. Even if a few stories do better than others we are happy to continue to write stuff like this. Take Second Universe for example, at first it was a one shot but thanks to your support we have continued it and it's become one of our most prized projects. Things like A New Eclipse didn't start out so well, it was only after we put it on hold that it started getting a more positive response. And don't worry, to those that like that story, we will continue it at a later date.

Shards Story pt. 3-Make new friends but keep Shard
Narrator: Yo author, where's the script for the next human?
Author: Are you serious, it should be right...um...it really isn't there...
Narrator: What do we do? What do we do!?
Author: Calm down woman, look, we can't rewrite it or Pyra and Eclipse will just get mad, I'm sure we can still incorporate him into the story somehow...
"Ok...so...I'm in a really awkward place right now."
"How so?"
"Well for one, I was offered a job as Lunas personal Knight."
"And?"
"And accidentally attacked the man who saved my life..."
"Why don't you start from the beginning Mr Storm?"
"Ok Doc, here goes..."
Shard walked down the long halls towards the lab, thinking over what just happened.
Are you sure it was a good idea to spare that changelings life?
"He admitted defeat, it would have stained my honour, plus it will be fun to have a rival in this world."
I don't know whether to be annoyed or angry with you Shard...
"Then you keep working on that." They reached the door to the lab where they found a note.
Dear Shard
Please meet us in the dining hall, we have gone to get something to eat. Afterwards we have something to discuss.
Eclipse.
"Ok then, let's go back down the...tediously...long...hallway...again..." After letting out a loud sigh, he slowly made his way up the hallway until he came to the dining area. He opened the door to find only Celestia in the room. "Celestia, what are you doing up?"
"I could ask you the same question."
"Well, after the whole being dragged into another world thing, it took a lot of energy out of me and I kinda messed up my sleep cycle so that now I'm awake at night and asleep in the day."
"Well that answers that question."
"You still haven't answered mine."
She sighed and set down her teacup. "Eclipse and I witnessed what you did out there, and frankly it scared me."
"How so?"
"The reason I banished Flame was I feared his destructive power, and to witness something like that, only shows that nothing has changed. I mean no disrespect to you Shard, but I find it hard to trust such destructive capability with somepony I only met a short while ago."
Shard pondered over her words, they were entirely justified. She was looking out for her people and Kingdom, and Flame did possess awesome amounts of power that could damage the land if Shard desired. "What can I do to make you trust me?"
"Hmmm?"
"What can I do to earn your trust? Like I accomplish some kind of task or take some sorta test, a pledge of allegiance maybe. Something that will get you to trust me." Celestia looked surprised by this, she saw the determination in his eyes and the sincerity in his voice.
"I'm afraid that I do not have anything along those lines Shard..."
"I have something!" Shard and Celestia turned to see Luna standing in the doorway.
"And what would that be sister?"
Luna walked towards Shard. "Sir Shard, I would like to offer you the position of my personal Knight!"
"What?!" The two yelled in confusion.
"Luna, what are you doing? This isn't a game."
"I know that sister, this is a serious matter. You have pressured me into recruiting a personal guard, and frankly the choices you've given me are pathetic. I would end up protecting them or using them as a pony-shield. I also witnessed the battle and when you felt fear I saw potential. Yes he was able to preform destructive techniques but he was also able to control it, only using fire to clear the crowd and cancelling when it was unnecessary. You want a test to earn my sisters trust, become my knight."
"I don't know Luna, it seems like a pretty big responsibility."
Ditto...
"Yes, it is. But it is that kind of responsibility that will show my sister that you can be trusted, plus, I've taken a liking to you, I don't have many friends due to...reasons."
Have the ponies really not gotten over that?
"Ponyvilles residence have accepted me and let go of the past, but outside of that no."
I see...
Celestia rose from her seat and stood over Luna. "I hope you know what you are doing Luna."
Luna merely smirked. "I'm putting my trust in him like you put your trust in the Elements."
"That was different Luna."
"Was it really, you're not the only one who receives those dreams sister."
Celestia didn't know how to handle this, for once Luna had outsmarted her. She thought for a moment before giving out a defeated sigh. "Fine Luna, you win this time..." Luna smiled. "...but it's still up to Shard wether or not her accepts the offer." They both turned to Shard who now felt nervous for being put on the spot.
Ok let's look at the pros here, I would be getting a job that I'm good at, I'll be living in a castle, I'll be among friends and I'll be able to go with Luna on trips across the country. Cons, constantly being called Sir Shard, ruined sleep pattern, limited socialism and have to deal with dangerous crowds. Just like home.
"Well I got nothing better to do, I accept." Luna flashed a victorious grin at her now groaning sister. "You two really are siblings aren't you?"
"Eclipse is the voice of reason."
"I caught that..."
Ditto...
After taking an oath and pledging his allegiance to Luna, the deed was done. Shard was now a knight, and Luna couldn't be happier that she had finally got the best of her sister. They were walking down the hallway when Shard noticed something.
"Flame are you alright, you were pretty much silent during that whole thing except for saying 'ditto' a few times."
Sigh...I don't blame Celestia for being cautious, but I would have thought that she would have been a little more trusting
Luna walked closer to Shard. "I was surprised also, she was not her normal self. I think something is wrong."
"Well a bunch of aliens are going to be showing up in her Kingdom I think that's reason enough to be stressed out or be acting weird."
Luna nodded, she was about to say something else but was interrupted.
"Gaaahahaaaaaaaaa!" Followed by a loud crash.
"Speak of the devil." The trio ran to the origin of the disturbance, where the found a small crater just outside the Canterlot Gardens. A creature rose from the debris.
Followed by a small robot.
"Well, that happened...you alright Clank?"
"I am fine." The robot now known as Clank looked up at Shard and Luna. "But it appears that I am seeing a pony with a horn and wings."
"I see it to pal."
Shard and Luna looked to each other expecting the other to speak up. After a minute of silence Shard spoke up.
"Ok, I'll explain it to them." He walked over to them and held out his hand. "My name is Shard, what's yours?" The feline creature returned the gesture.
"Ratchet, and this little guy is Clank." He gestured toward the robot.
"Pleased to met you sir, but can you explain what is going on, and why we were brought here?" Shard nodded.
"You might wanna sit down, cause you're not gonna like it."
After explaining everything they could to Ratchet and Clank, the group was walking to the lab to meet Eclipse. Ratchet was hanging his head in sadness with Clank attached to his back, Shard saw this as an opportunity to lighten the mood. "Looks like we booth carry our companions on our backs."
"What?" Shard reached his hand behind him and pointed to Flame.
"Touch the sword and you'll see." Ratchet gave him a curious look before placing a finger on the blade.
Hello
Ratchet jumped at the sound of the voice. "Who said that?"
"The sword did."
He is right, my name is Flames of Disaster, but you can call me Flame
"Ratchet, who are you talking to?" After repeating the process with Clank the group arrived at the lab doors.
"Anyone ever tell you guys that these halls are way to long?"
"I've been meaning to."
Ditto...
"Is that an attempt to establish a catchphrase?"

"Are you serious?"
...
"Fine, be that way."
The group entered the lab to find Eclipse looking over some papers, when he noticed Ratchet and Clank he started asking them questions about their world, or worlds if you will since their adventures were universe wide. Then Ratchet showed them his weapons, and their was plenty of them, he had about fifty different guns on him. When Shard asked where he kept all of his guns Clank explained the technology that his universe held, and how he was able to compress all of the weapons and gadgets into his storage unit, while Eclipse was writing everything down for research. Then came up the question of how Ratchet was going to acquire ammo for his weapons.
"Hm, I think I have a Gadgetron PDA somewhere, hey Clank, you still got that?"
"I do, and it appears to be working. I also found a GrummelNet PDA."
"Sweet, but, how are we going to get bolts?"
Just then a rat appeared and snagged Eclipses sandwich. "Hey!"
"I got it." Ratchet out his wrench and threw it at the oversized rat, the rat disappeared and three glowing bolts floated into him."Well, that solves that problem." The next half an hour was spent explaining what just happened to the rat, and what the Lombaxes were and why they had giant wrenches. Meanwhile, over in the corner of the room, Clank and Flame where having a chat about their companions.
"I just let him do all the walking, I just ride around on his back like a backpack."
I can actually walk as well, but I don't let him know that
"Why not?"
How strange would it look if someone saw me hoping beside him instead of me being in my scabbard?
"Well, fair enough I suppose."
So what was this about not being able to keep track of his girlfriends?

For what seemed like the fifteenth time that night, the group walked down the hallway towards Shards new living quarters. They entered a large tower where they walked up two hundred and fifty steps. "Dear God Luna, was the tower really necessary?"
"Unfortunately yes, this was the only way to ease the subjects minds about my stay in the castle."
Ratchet was tossing a mini disco ball in the air and back into his hand. "I don't get it, why do the civilians fear you so much?"
I think that is a story best saved for another time
"Thank you Flame." Luna sighed in relief. They came across a door beside a dark blue door with a moon symbol painted on it. "This will be your new living quarters, don't worry there is two beds."
"Looks like we're bunking together Ratchet."
"So much for ever bringing a girl home."
This got a laugh from the group as they entered the room, inside there was two beds up against opposite walls, a dresser, a couch and coffee table, a balcony, a table and two chairs and two chests. There was a smaller bed beside one of the larger beds for Clank and a sword rack for Flame. "You really outdid yourself Luna, you even got beds for Clank and Flame."
"I do try." She let the men get settled in before handing Shard a small booklet. "This is a basic guide to your responsibilities as my knight, memorise it in your own time, you will be given your first task tomorrow." Shard gave her a playful salute when she went to exit the room. Shard set Flame on his rack and Ratchet was polishing his RYNO V while Clank was sorting through their inventory. Shard began reading through the guide and was slowly drifting off to sleep, he bookmarked the page he was on and set it on the bedside table.
"Well, I've had enough excitement for one night, time for me to hit the hay."
Ratchet set the RYNO V into his chest at the end of his bed and looked out the glass doors that led to the balcony. "The night is so beautiful here, huh Clank?" Clank looked out and put his finger to his chin.
"Yes, there is a certain spark to it."
Luna outdid herself tonight
Ratchet took off his hoverboots and climbed under his covers. "Mmmm, the mattress is so soft." He purred and closed his eyes. "Goodday you guys."
"Goodday."
"Goodday." There was a moment of silence.
I think that just sounds odd...
"Ditto..." Everyone replied.
The group woke up the next evening by the sound of Eclipse knocking on the door. "Come on guys, time to get up!" They all groaned and rolled out of their beds.
"Fine, give us a second to wake up..."
Ratchet stretched like a cat, Clank oiled his joints, Shard stretched out his limbs and Flame just sat there...he can't do much on the whole movement thing. After their morning rituals were done the walked out of the room and followed Eclipse to the dining hall. "Celestia won't be joining us this evening, she has a meeting with some executives."
After walking down the unnecessarily long flight of stairs and down the tediously long hallway they arrived at the dining hall to find Luna waiting at the table where at each seat stood a small pile of pancakes doused in syrup. Ratchet took one sniff and started drooling. "I could get used to this." The group was surprised to find out that Clank could eat, so Clank and Flame shared a pile. The two seemed to be developing a close friendship. After the group destroyed their meals they set about their day, Ratchet and Clank would be going with Eclipse to be shown about the castle and see about some employment options in the castle that involved blowing stuff up or something similar, you'd be surprised how many options were available in that category. I'm serious.
Editor: Stop breaking the fourth wall
While those three were doing that, Shard would be getting his first assignment from Luna.
"Alright Shard, this will be like a test, you will be escorting me through the Everfree forest and protecting me from the dangerous wildlife."
"Alright." Luna smiled and motioned him to follow her, they exited out to some sort of landing pad with a chariot and two bat ponies. While the bat ponies got the chariot ready Shard viewed the sunset. "Wow..."
The sky was now a bright orange, matching his hair and eyes, the clouds blended perfectly with the twilight, stars were starting to show and the sun was making a final peek of the day over the horizon. "Enjoying the view?" Shard didn't take his eyes off of the perfect picture before him and nodded.
"This world is so beautiful, the night on my world can't even compare itself to the night here." Lunas face became a little red at that statement. "Everything here is just so...natural."
Indeed, the inhabitants live in perfect harmony with nature, allowing such natural beauty to flourish
"That was pretty deep buddy."
I try
"Well you two, the chariot is ready." Shard really didn't want to take his gaze away from the sunset, but he didn't have a choice. He climbed into the cart and Luna followed suit. The chariot took of towards the Everfree Forest and landed on a hill by a clearing. "Wait here until I return." The bat ponies nodded and pulled out some magazines that they had brought with them.
Wait are those magazines...
"Keep walking."
The trio ventured into the thorn infested forest, along the way Shard kept Flame in his hand, looking out for any dangers. A Timberwolf jumped out of a bush and was quickly sliced in half and left as a burning corpse. "Impressive Shard, I didn't even see you move."
"A good swordsman needs to have speed as well as skill and strength."
"I see." Just then, a manticore jumped at the princess but they just walked by, the beast remained still until they were exactly ten steps away, then the beast split into three parts and burned to ash. "Now you're just showing off." Shard just smiled and walked ahead and cut a pathway through some thorn bushes.
They came across a clearing where there appeared to be multiple footsteps, big and small. "Interesting."Just then a small Timberwolf lunged out at the trio when a giant wrench hit it square in the face. "Ratchet?"
"Yeah, Eclipse and I got bored and decided to join you guys." The wolf attempted to get back together but one blast from Ratchets constructo-pistol put it out of its misery, after more glowing bolts were absorbed by his body. "Sweet, two thousand."
Eclipse emerged from the trees. "Hope we're not intruding." Luna had a smirk on her face.
"Nonsense brother, now Shard will protect both of us." Shard groaned and Ratchet patted him on the back.
"Don't worry pal, I'll help ya out." They shared a fist-bump and followed the tracks in front of them. Just above them was a cloud of dark mist.
Oh yes, he will do nicely
The cloud followed the group until the group that Cybe was in was in view. "Hey, is that who I think it is?" The cloud saw this as a chance to strike. It swooped down and covered Shards body.
"Shard!" Everyone yelled in worry. Eclipse took one look at the mist and he shivered in fear.
"Oh no..." Shard began to shake and his eyes turned black, he shakily took Flame in both hands and began walking towards Cybe.
"Someone stop me...I'm not in...control." He fought against the spirit but failed. The group tried to stop him and hold him down, but they were thrown away by an invisible force. "Do...something..."
He ran at the other group and threw himself at Cybe, who thankfully stopped the blade with his claw. "What the..."
"Oh I'm sorry Mr Shard but we appear to be out of time, continue this next week?"
"Of course, thank you Doctor Wolf."
"My pleasure, but I will give you some advice before you go, no matter the issue, approach it like an adult and don't get into a yelling match."
"Thanks doc, see you next week." As Shard exited the office Dr Wolf took in a breath and let it out.
"It's good to be helping."

Cybe's Story pt. 4-New found respect
Cybe looked at the attacker and noticed something off, the man who was wielding the blade was covered in a purple mist. That's when he heard a voice.
Please, you have to help him, he's not in control!
"Who is this?"
Thats not important right now, you need to find a way to pin him down, a spirit has taken control of his body!
"Alright, Omega hold him down!"
"Roger that." Omega grabbed Shard and pinned him to the ground. Shard tried to squirm free but failed, he then threw Flame away and placed both hands on the ground and started pushing. He managed to throw Omega off him and charged at Cybe again, but Cybe had time to switch his arm and shot a net of paralysing electricity at him. At first he thought it was working but Shard just tore through the wire.
"A little help here Discord!"
Discord snapped his fingers and trapped Shard in a cage made of crystals. Shard was still for a moment before he began punching the roof of the cage, cracks started to form and sure enough he broke free. Shard made another attempt at charging Cybe but was caught be a blue aura, it appeared that Shard had finally been stopped, everyone present looked to the left to see a third human standing there with his arm held out, he was surrounded by the same blue aura.
"Now I don't know what is going on but it looked as if you guys could use my help." The man was slightly shorter than Cybe he had light blue hair that had three spikes on his forehead, his cloths consisted of different shades of blue, going in a striped pattern. Cybe dusted himself off.
"Your help is very much appreciated sir, might I ask your name?"
"My name is Cyan Crest, I take it you are Cybe Catcher?"
"So you're from my world too?"
"Yes, now that we've got the formalities out of the way, what do we do with twitchy here?"
Cybe looked to the now frozen Shard, his body twitched and the purple mist parted from his body and rose into the air, it then started glowing and morphed into a man with a dark purple tailcoat and top hat, with a purple cane in his hand, he had blonde hair and had glowing white eyes and a Cheshire smile, the top half of his face was covered in a shadow, he held a cane in his hand.
You were right Forge, they are fun!
Just then, a boy that looked no older than 15 appeared, every inch of his body was black and he was surrounded by a red aura.
Would I lie to you Hack?
I guess not, huhuhuhuhuhuhu
"Hey!" They looked down to see Cybe looking up at them. "Who are you?"
My word, he is impatient isn't he? If you must know, my name is Hack Wonder, owner of Wonders Fright Amusement Park, at your service
And I am Forge, I'm the one that brought you all here
"I see...let me ask you this, what do you hope to accomplish by bringing us here, what's your plan?"
My plan, I'm giving you all a chance to redeem yourselves, you, the last cyborg who slaughtered dozens of his own kind, the ninja of fire who spent his life learning the ways of the sword, and finally the psychokinetic, who betrayed his own family for the sake of his own well being. I brought you here so you could start over, you're misplaced, for redemption!
"And what of Omega?"
He is here for fun! I leave them to you Hack, my brother needs my help
Forge disappeared and everyone looked at Hack.
Well it's been fun kiddies, but I must return to my park, if you ever want to visit you can find me in the shadow realm, tata!
Hack vanished and Cybe just kept looking at the spot that Hack was standing at, he looked back and helped Omega get to his feet. "You alright there Omega?"
"I'm fine, although that was surprising." Cybe looked over Omegas body.
"You've still took a lot of damage from when you were brought here, when we get back to the house I'll do some repairs." Omega nodded and looked to Discord and Fluttershy. "Could you two take Omega to my home, I'll catch up in a minute." They nodded and left the three humans alone. "You can let him down Cyan." The aura surrounding Shard vanished and he dropped to the ground.
Shard shook his head and looked up to see Cybe with his claw stretched out to help him up, Shard accepted the assistance and placed his hand in the claw and Cybe pulled him up. Cybe looked over to Flame and picked him up and handed him to Shard.
"Déjà vu."
"What?" Cybe looked at Shard. "Wait, you look familiar."
"You saved me once in the battle of NYC, you threw that huge cyborg away then gave me a sword."
"That was you?"
"Yes, you saved my life that day, and I've never had a chance to thank you, so I am now." Shard held out his hand. "Thank you." Cybe to his hand in his claw and shook. "Name's Shard by the way."
"Shard!" The three humans turned to see Luna, Eclipse, Ratchet and Clank running towards them.
"Shard, are you alright what happened?" Asked Luna as she stood on her hind legs and moved his face around with her hooves.
"I'm fine Luna, whatever was in my body is gone now." While Luna, Eclipse and Ratchet fawned over Shard, Cybe and Clank began talking.
"Interesting, so you were created by a fault in a factory's systems?"
"Exactly, Although I recently found out it was not by accident, I was made this way to protect the keeper of time in our universe called the great clock, built in the exact centre of the universe...give or take fifty feet."
"You mentioned a compression system, how does that work exactly?"
"It's better if I give you that information via data transfer." Clank looked to his right. "But that will have to be at a later date, that gentleman wishes to talk with you." Cybe looked up to see Cyan looking at him, with a pony with a yellow coat and a red mane with streaks of yellow running through it.
"Okay, talk to you later XJ...oh, sorry, I'm mean Clank."
"No problem, hehehehehehehe."
Cybe let Clank return to Ratchet and he made his way over to Cyan. "Thank you for your help here, Cyan."
"It was no problem, I'm just glad I could stop him before anyone got hurt."
"True." He looked down at the mare beside Cyan. "Who's this?"
"This is Sunset Shimmer, she was taken from her world by the black star as well, she was originally a pony but found a way into the human world, then got sent back, although I think that was in an alternate Equestria."
Cybe bent down and stretched out his hand. "Pleasure to meet you Miss Shimmer." She placed her hoof in his hand and shook but stayed silent. Cybe took the hint and left her alone. "So, where do you end up?"
"In the tundra outside the Crystal Empire, I was able to get us out of there before we froze to death, with some help from Sunsets magic of course." He flashed a grin to Sunset and she blushed. "So you ended up in Ponyville?"
"The Everfree, after fighting some timberwolves I flew my sister and I to the outskirts of Ponyville and where taken in by Twilight Sparkle, I've got my own place now, as well as a job."
"Trying to build a normal life here, probably a smart move."
"As normal as I can, I've got robotic limbs, my friends are a spirit of chaos, a walking arsenal, the element bearers, a sun goddess and an ex-time traveler."
"That's quite a mouthful."
"I know." He looked at the sunset. "I gotta get back to my house or else Scootaloo and Jewel will get worried, and I gotta explain why a huge robot is moving in with us."
"Actually, I was wondering if we could crash with you for the night, we'll get our own place tomorrow."
"Fine, you guys can sleep on the couch, or Discord could build you a home next to mine or something." He looked over to Shard. He walked over and placed his claw on Shards shoulder. "We gotta go, take care of yourself Shard."
They began walking in the direction on Cybes home. "Wait!" Cybe turned around to see Eclipse looking at him. "If you are ever in Canterlot, please come by my lab, I'd like to ask you a few questions." Cybe nodded, he was about to turn away when Clank threw something at him.
"That is a data disk containing the schematics for the compression system."
"Thanks Clank." With that, they walked off.
Jewel was sitting on the couch in their house watching as Scootaloo buzzed around Omega. "Ok my gosh, you are so cool, do you have tons of weapons can you fly, what was your world like..." The questions never ended.
"Urge to maim, rising."
Fluttershy was giggling at the sight as Omega just sat there unamused and Discord was fitting a way for Omega to enter the house. Cybe had returned with Cyan and Sunset and had gone out to get some groceries, he explained the situation to Jewel and Scootaloo before leaving. Jewel was busy brushing Sunsets mane, being in the tundra didn't have a great effect on her hair.
When Cybe returned he made everyone sandwiches and took Omega outside to do some repairs.
"So Omega, what was your world like?"
"Very, very strange, everything was like an obstacle course, even the natural forests were laid out like a level in a video game."
"Sounds strange."
"And it was populated by anthropomorphic animals."
"..."
"Yeah."
Cybe just kept on repairing Omegas power cells in silence.
Cybes Story pt. 5-Life in Equestria
3 weeks later
No one else has been thrown into Equestria for the past three weeks, much to Celestias relief. Not much has happened really, just Cybe and the others going about their daily lives. Celestia traveled to Ponyville to officially welcome Omega and Cyan to Equestria, all the while giving Sunset an odd look. When she got back to the castle she made her way to the Crystal Empire to check on the mirror, Sunset Shimmer was still there, this was an alternate Sunset in Ponyville with Cyan.
Getting back to our little group, Cyan and Sunset now lived in one of the two remaining houses, the one next to the library. Cyan now worked with Twilight at the library and Sunset worked with Cybe at the farm and was in charge of handling their finances. Cybe was able to get Jewel into the Ponyville school, she still needed an education, most of the kids accepted her, the exception of a certain two earth ponies of course. Any time they were going to walk up to the CMC or Jewel, Cybe was always there, tossing a diamond from hand to hand.
Omega usually hung around Cybe, either helping out around the farm of relaxing by the pond. Whenever he wasn't around Cybe he was with the CMC. He also got a job in the Ponyville Demolition Crew, he fit right in.
Cybe, Discord and Fluttershy started a routine where each Tuesday they would get together for some tea, talking about the weeks events and getting to know a bit more about each other. Although Fluttershy has become conflicted with her feelings, and is finding herself attracted to Cybe, not just by looks but his overall personality. Discord has been trying to encourage her to ask him on a date, and they've been making good progress.
Cybe was walking home from grocery shopping and reached his home. He opened the door to find Omega sitting in the living room. "Hey Omega, how was work?"
"It was glorious, the manager let me use my missiles to destroy an abandoned building, it was amazing."
"I bet." He brought the groceries into the kitchen and began stocking the cabinets. He made himself some tea and Omega a milkshake. They sat quietly while drinking their drinks, waiting for Scootaloo and Jewel to return.
"A letter arrived for you today." Omega handed Cybe a scroll and he read it out loud.
Dear Cybe Catcher
I am in need of your assistance in a task only you, Cyan and Shard can handle, the other two have been informed. Travel to Canterlot in three days, and make sure to bring your spare arms and Omega, this job will be dangerous but it must be done.

"Well, looks like our time for a quiet stay has run out, we got a job to do for the princess in three days."
"About time."
Cybe chuckled and set the scroll down on the table. "I'm going into the workshop if you need me." After the first week Cybe had built a shed out the back of his home, where he would tinker and research different forms of Equestrian technology, as well as a few secret projects. Last week, he began constructing his own version of the compression system so he could carry his arms around instead of keeping them in the case, making it easier for him to switch them out in certain situations.
He walked out of the back door and into his workshop, he flicked the light switch and multiple tables came into view. The workshop also went underground, made possible by Discord. On the lower floor was his secret projects, he climbed down the ladder and looked over something covered in a sheet. He pulled the covers off to reveal an unfinished robot. "Just a few more days, then you'll be complete."
He picked up a blow torch and started to work on the robot. With the sparks creating light, words that were engraved on the torso of the robot came into view.
"C.Treble.1001A"
The next day, Cybe was walking through the meadow to his usual spot by the pond, then he heard someone scream from above. He looked up to see Fluttershy falling. Wasting no time, he leaped into the air and caught her, unintentionally holding her in the bridal position. When they reached the ground a huge blush appeared on Fluttershys face. "Are you alright Fluttershy?"
She stopped staring at him and responded. "Oh...uh, I'm fine, just a bit of wind caught me by surprise and threw me off course is all."
"Well that explains the falling. Where were you going?" Her blush intensified.
"I was...on my way to, uh, see you..." She hid her face in her mane.
"What did you need?" He set her down and she mentally groaned as she secretly wanted to be held by him.
"I was, um, wondering if you would, oh, never mind, it's not important." She was about to turn away when Cybe put his hand under her mussel and made her look at him.
"Hey, you can tell me anything, you know that right?" She nodded. "Now, what's got you so nervous?"
Fluttershy rubbed her front leg nervously. "I, um, I don't know how to phrase this, oh this was a mistake!" She tried to fly off but was caught by Cybe. He brought her to eye level and held her by her shoulders.
"Fluttershy, you need to tell me what's going on, you're making me worried." She looked into his eyes and saw him giving a caring look, a look she loved. "Please Fluttershy, you can tell me anything."
She then sucked up all of her courage. "Open your mask."
"Wh-"
"Just open it." Cybe gave her a confused look but did as he was asked. Fluttershy then grabbed both sides of his head and placed her lips on his. His eyes opened in surprise, but he slowly started to relax and closed them. He brought her closer and accepted the kiss.
Meanwhile, Discord, Jewel, the CMC and the rest of the main six watched these events unfold and gave silent cheers.
The two pulled away from the kiss and Cybe closed his mask to talk. "That's what you were so nervous about?" Cybe still held her close and she wrapped her front legs around his neck.
"Yes, I was afraid you won't return my feelings." Cybe placed his hand on her cheek.
"And what made you think that?"
"Just nerves I guess, you're the first one to ever catch my attention like this." Cybe understood, she was normally very shy and this was an unfamiliar situation for her. He opened his mask and planted another kiss on her lips.
"Well, you don't have to hide anything from me, because I'll always be there for you." She brought him into a big hug and he hugged her back. She couldn't believe that he returned her feelings. Both of their lives would be different now.

Cybe woke up after his power was full. He lay in bed for awhile listening to the birds chirp. It was his second day in Equestria and things were already going well, he had a home, a job, some friends, his sister and now Scootaloo. He sat up and looked out his window, the sun was just peeking over the horizon. "Guess I'd better wake the girls." He climbed out of bed and neatly folded his sheets. He would get more comfortable ones later. He entered the hallway and entered his bathroom. He turned the tap at the sink and opened his mask to show his scars, he splashed the cold water on his permanent wounds and sighed with relief. He always felt good with some water on his scars, it helped ease the remaining pain.
He walked down the hall to the girls new room, he slowly opened the door and walked in. He sat on the end of Jewels bed and shook her gently. "It's time to wake up Jewel." She cringed and slowly opened her eyes.
"Morning big bro." He walked to Scootaloo and scratched behind her ear, she leaned into his touch slowly opening her eyes.
"Now that's a way to wake up." He smiled and left the room, he walked downstairs to enter the kitchen. He then remembered that they had no food yet. There was a knock at the door, he opened the door to find Doctor Whooves and Derpy.
"Hello, what can I do for you?" He asked politely. The Doctor cleared his throat.
"Mr Cybe, do you remember when you met a man named the Doctor at the battle for NYC?" He was taken back by this, he didn't expect a pony to Know anything about that battle.
"Yes, why do you ask?" The Doctor smiled and placed a hoof to his chest.
"Cybe, it's me, The Doctor." Cybe looked shocked, but he couldn't just take what a random pony said as a fact, he give the pony a scan and then looked even more surprised.
"Doctor?" He nodded. "How?"
"A failure in the TARDIS's systems, as for the pony form, something went wrong with my regeneration." Cybe looked at the Doctor and then to Derpy. "I was tempted to leave at first, but then I found a reason to stay." He wrapped a hoof around Derpy. "Cybe, meet my Fiancé, Derpy Hooves." Cybe extended his hand and Derpy returned the gesture.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Ms Derpy."
"It's always nice to meet a friend of the Doctor." She reached into a saddlebag and pulled out a paper bag. "I thought you guys could use some breakfast, so I baked you some muffins." Cybe took the bag and pulled out a chocolate chip muffin, a smile grew behind his mask.
"Thank you very much Derpy." She smiled and was about to walk away when she remembered something.
"Oh I almost forgot, you have a letter." She reached into another bag and held a scroll in her hooves, Cybe took the letter and placed it on a nearby cabinet.
"I take it that you are a mailmare?" She nodded. She waved goodbye and walked away. Cybe then turned to the Doctor with a serious expression. "I hope you are not planning to take her away in the TARDIS Doctor, I know what happens to your companions." He looked the Doctor dead in the eye until he answered.
"No, I am not planning on doing that. I thought it was time to stop traveling and to have a nice quiet life here in ponyville."
"What about your immortality?"
"Gone." Cybe looked at him with confusion.
"How?"
"When I entered this world my body changed to that of a pony, the portal that brought me here seemed to change my species entirely, including my anatomy. I now only have one heart and have no connection to the time vortex. I'm just a smart earth pony now." Cybe took all this in, but something didn't add up.
"Then why didn't me and Jewel become ponies"
"I'm afraid that I don't know, but everything happens for a reason." Cybe nodded.
"It was good seeing you again Doctor."
"Likewise Cybe." Cybe closed the door and the Doctor walked back into town. The girls came down the stairs and sat at the kitchen table, Cybe handed them their muffins and opened the scroll.
Dear Cybe Catcher
I have spoken with my brother about the gem that brought you here. He says that it was stolen from him by a strange being. The object is a link between different worlds, and we should expect more visitors. If Discord senses some strange energy then you are to investigate. I am trusting you with this task, and would very much like to talk with you at sometime. I'm afraid that the object that brought you here has a permanent effect and there is no way to send you home. I am deeply sorry, but know I am willing to help you and your sister in any way I can.

He sighed and placed the letter on the table.
"What's wrong Cybe?" Asked Jewel.
"That was Celestia, she says that I am to look out for anything else that appears from the portal that brought us here." Jewels eyes widen.
"Are you saying that others from our world might be brought here as well?" He nodded.
"But I've got some bad news. There is no way to send us back." Jewel was unfazed.
"That's ok, I like it better here in Equestria anyway." Cybe just looked at his sister surprised, he really didn't care if he was to stay here, but if Jewel had wanted to leave he would try to find a way back. "Bro, it's fine. We can leave all that stuff that happened behind us. We have a chance to be happy again." He couldn't argue with that. There was no way that his previous life could catch up to him here. He never thought of starting over, but know he could, not like he had a choice though.
"You're right sis." He turned to Scootaloo. "Well Scoots, looks like you're stuck with us." She giggled and walked to his side she nuzzled his leg and looked at him with her huge eyes. "Guess I should call you my little sister now." Her wings began buzzing.
"Really?" He ruffled her mane with his claw.
"Yeah, I mean you are going to be living with us from now on and you could use a family." He lifted Jewel from her seat and placed her beside him, he knelt down to face Scootaloo. "What do you say Scootaloo, wanna join our crazy family?" She started to tear up, she leapt into Cybe's arms while crying tears of joy.
"Thank you big brother." She whispered. He chuckled and patted her back.
"No problem little sister." Jewel joined in on the hug.
"I guess this means I've got a sister now." Cybe chuckled and pulled away from the hug.
"I've got some things to do today, why don't you go make some friends." She smiled and they both shot out the door, leaving Cybe by himself. "Kids." He chuckled and walked out of the house. As he made his way down the road he noticed a certain blue box on a hill, and a silver suitcase. "No way." He ran to the case and looked over it. "How is this here?" He opened it up to reveal several different versions of his robotic arm, each designed for a different purpose. "Guess it wouldn't hurt to keep these, even if this world is peaceful it still has some major threats." He saw a note on the side of the TARDIS. He picked it up and read it out loud. "Found these in the back, thought they would come in handy." He looked at the blue box. "How did these even get in there?" Deciding not to question it, he took the case and brought it back to his house. He continued down the path to Applejacks farm when he spotted a clock tower. "Only 9:30, I still have some time." He looked to a nearby forest and walked along the small path.

Fluttershy was tending to her animals when Discord walked out of the trees, literally. "Oh, good morning Discord. How are you today?" He sighed and sat down on the grass.
"Not good Fluttershy, not good." She flew towards him.
"What's wrong?"
"It's about Cybe. I let me see his memories yesterday and I still can't get over what I saw." She looked at him with worried eyes.
"What did you see?" He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"I saw destruction, anger, sorrow, pain and loneliness. He is the last of his kind Fluttershy, just like me. He's lost so much and now he is desperately clinging to what he has left, his sister. Without her, I don't think he would have a reason for living." Fluttershy was taken back by these words, she saw pain in Cybe's eyes yesterday but nothing to that extent.
"We have to help him Discord. In any way we can." He nodded and rose to his feet. "But first we have to find him."
"I was talking to Jewel a few minutes ago about how Cybe behaves, she said that if he has a lot on his mind that he usually works out or relaxes by a pond. I think that's why he chose the house near the meadow. Our best bet is to look there." She nodded and Discord teleported them to the meadow. They walked for about ten minutes before hearing panting. They came across a clearing with a huge hole in the ground and Cybe's shirt on a log, on the other side Cybe was doing push-ups with a giant rock on his back sweating. He wasn't even using his metal arm. When Fluttershy saw his sweating muscles she blushed and her wings shot up. Discord looked at her and smirked.
"My my, getting aroused by Cybe are we?" She desperately tried to fold her wings but they continued to stand up. Her face grew red in embarrassment, while Discord could only chuckle. Meanwhile Cybe was just about to finish his workout.
"297, 298, 299, 300!" He threw the rock back into its hole with his claw, he walked to his shirt but started to stretch. "Man, I need to find some weights, can't only use rocks for these workouts. Takes to much of a toll on my back." Fluttershy's wings shot up again while she stared at his abs. She forced her wings down.
"Oh get it together Fluttershy, you can't think that way about someone you just met." She scolded herself. Cybe's ear flicked and he turned in the direction of her. She ducked under a bush, Cybe looked suspiciously at the bush until he heard a meow, he shrugged and put on his shirt and walked in the direction of a nearby pond.
Cybe lay down beside the pond and looked to the sky, he began to think deeply, cancelling out any noise so he could concentrate.
Ok, Celestia said that I was to watch out for anything that seemed out of the ordinary. She said that the gem was a link between worlds, does that mean other worlds, not just mine. Oh well, Discord will let me know if anything shows up, who knows, maybe a robot will show up. Not likely but possible, then I wouldn't be the only machine here. There would be someone like me, that's all I want, to find someone like me.
Back to the whole living in Equestria thing, will I ever find love in this world. I mean, inter species stuff is a normality here right? But can I ever find someo- sorry, somepony who would love me and not just run away when I admitted my feelings? Equestria gets its fair share of weird but I take the cake, Jewel is a rare site too but she's normal compared to me. I guess I'm worrying over nothing though, it's only my second day, I have plenty of time to figure things out.
He felt something enter his mind and then leave. Shrugging it off as just a bug in his systems he stared at the sky, letting in the sounds of nature once again. Kind of ironic if you think about it, a robot enjoying the natural things in the world.
Editor: you're doing it again.
Sorry... Anyway, Discord reappeared beside Fluttershy while stroking his beard. "Interesting." She looked up to him with confusion.
"What's interesting?" He shook his head.
"I'm sorry Fluttershy but I can't share this information with anypony. I shouldn't have even entered his mind, he's thinking about his future and it is of no concern to us." She looked at him shocked, she had never seen Discord this serious before. She had to admit that it was selfish of her to want to know what Cybe was thinking. She remembered that he was stopping by for tea later, she could ask him then.
"Let's go home Discord, I think he needs some privacy." He nodded and warpped them back to the cottage. Cybe got up and looked at the position of the sun.
"11:30, I should get going." He began to walk quickly towards Sweet Apple Acres, leaving the meadow.
He arrived at the farm ten minutes early, he slowed his pace and saw Applejack walking towards him.
"Howdy Cybe, ready to get ta work?" He nodded and she smiled. "You been settlin in ok sugarcube?"
"Yes, the townsfolk have been very accepting and Jewel has made some friends her age."
"That's good ta hear, heard ya adopted Scootaloo as yer sister, that's mighty kind of ya."
"I'm going to be living with her from now on, and she needs a family. It's the least I can do." She chuckled and led him to the barn, where a large red stallion was unloading some crates.
"That there's Big Macintosh, my older brother." Big Mac looked back and just stared at him with a blank expression. "Big Mac, I'd like ya to meet Cybe, he's gonna be helpin us around here." Cybe walked up to him.
"Pleasure to meet you Big Mac." He extended his arm and Big Mac returned the gesture.
"Likewise." Cybe turned to Applejack.
"So, what do you need me to do?" She pointed her hoof to the crates.
"Just unload these here crates and then go harvest some apples in the south orchard."
"Ok then, I'll get to work." She tilted her hat and walked out of the barn. He started to unload the boxes and placed each item in their respective piles. Once that was done, he walked to the south orchard and lay out some baskets. He began punching the trees with his claw, then hitting the same trees a second time to make sure he didn't miss any apples. A few hours later he had the whole south orchard harvested, save for one tree. It was bigger than the rest and seemed older, also the apples were golden. He didn't know wether to harvest the apples or not so he just left it alone. He brought the apples he had harvested to the barn on several carts he had found.
When Applejack went to check on his progress she was shocked to see the whole orchard bare. She walked to the other side of the bard to find multiple carts filled with baskets of apples. Cybe was nearby checking the apples to make sure they were all ripe. He noticed her and waved. "Hey Applejack, just finished harvesting the apples, anything else you need me to do?" She looked at all the work he had done in such little time. She walked to his side with a deadpan expression.
"Cybe, how'd ya get all this done?" He looked at her confused.
"Pardon?"
"All this would've taken us three whole days to do, and you did it in just a few hours. So how'd ya do it?" He thought for a moment and raised his cyborg arm.
"I guess this thing just comes in handy for manual labor. I didn't even need to put much force in my punches." She looked at him with her jaw to the floor. She glanced over to to a huge crate.
"Cybe, can ya go and bring that crate to the barn for me?" He nodded and walked over to the box. He effortlessly lifted to crate and brought it into the barn. She stared in awe at the strength that Cybe held. "Cybe, how old are you exactly?" He exited the barn and walked over to her.
"I am nineteen years and 8 months, why?" She widened her eyes in shock.
So young yet so strong she thought to herself. "I think you've done enough for today Cybe, come on round to the house so ya can get your pay." He nodded but looked at her with confusion, he had only been here for around four hours. Deciding not to question it, he followed her to her home. She told him to wait at the porch while she got his money. While he was waiting he met Granny Smith, while most ponies would turn down her offer on a story, Cybe happily accepted to listen to what she had to say.
Applejack walked outside with a bag of bits on her back, it seemed that Granny Smith had just finished her story.
"... And that's how the Apple family founded ponyville." It looked like Cybe had held onto every word.
"That was quite the story Granny Smith. I would very much like to her one of your stories again sometime."
"Finally, som'un who appreciates a good old tale." He smiled and turned to Applejack.
"Hey Applejack, I was just talking to your grandmother, very nice lady." She just looked at him shocked. She handed him the bag and he strapped it to his belt.
"Well, here's yer pay Cybe. Thank you for all yer hard work."
"It was really nothing, I probably could have done the west orchard as well if there was more baskets, but I had no such luck. So should I come back same time tomorrow?" She nodded. "Ok, see you tomorrow Applejack."
"Just call me AJ, all mah friends do." He nodded and turned to Granny.
"See you later Granny Smith." She waved goodbye as he walked towards town.
"He's awfully nice isn't he Applejack?" Asked Granny.
"Yeah, he is. He harvested the south orchard in only three hours."
"Well then you'd best be keepin em around." She looked at Cybe as he walked away. She knew that he was capable of great things and she was going to put his skills to the test.
Cybe walked into town to try to find Jewel and Scootaloo, he saw the two fillies that Jewel was talking to yesterday, they looked worried.
"Hi there, is everything ok?" The looked at him and sighed in relief. The unicorn looked up at him with pleading eyes.
"You've got to help us mister. Scootaloo's in trouble." This caused his gears to stop.
"What?" He said in a dark tone.
"She's getting bullied by Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon." Steam seeped out of his arm, his eyes glowing red.
"Where are they?" They both pointed down a street where nopony was walking down, the perfect place for a bully to strike.

He walked to the end of the street and looked down the road. In the middle of the street were two earth ponies, a pink one and a grey one, laughing at Scootaloo. It was official, he was pissed. He stomped down the street, on the way he found a diamond lying around.
"Perfect." He said in a darker tone.
When he was close enough, he could here what was being said.
"Why can't you just accept that you'll never fly blankflank, stop holding onto false hope." Yelled the pink one.
"Yeah, what she said." Exclaimed the grey one. Oh that's just adorable, sucking up to somepony for attention. Scootaloo was about to say something when she saw him behind the two bullies, she knew that he was enraged just by looking at him. She looked at the bullies and smirked.
"Oh hey big brother, what brings you around here?" The fillies laughed and turned around, expecting to see a wimpy colt, but instead were greeted by a raging cyborg.
"That's your brother?" Asked Silver Spoon in a panic. Cybe made sure no one was looking and turned to Diamond.
"So what's going on here huh? Friends of yours?" He asked in a voice only known as psychopathic.
"No, in fact these two go out of their way to make me and my friends feel bad." Cybe stared deep into there souls with glowing red eyes.
"Is that so?" He looked to Diamond. "I take it you're Diamond Tiara correct?" She nodded. "Well let me ask you this, do you know how hard it is for me to crush a diamond?"
"Diamonds can't be crushed, nothing can break them." Stated Scootaloo with a smug smile.
Cybe took out the diamond that he found. "Correct Scoots. You two see this diamond?" They nodded frantically. "Look at it, it's all nice and shiny, but there are a few things wrong with it, you know what's wrong with it?" They shook their heads. "It thinks it's better than everyone, that only it matters, that it can't be broken, you know what I do to diamonds like this?" They shook their heads again. "Then why don't I show you." He held the stone up to Tiaras face and crushed it with his claw, reducing it to dust. "Now you're going to leave my sister and her friends alone, or I might just have to find another diamond to break. Do you understand?" They were both trembling in fear and nodded. "Then get lost." They shot off down the road, leaving Scootaloo laughing.
"Dude, that was amazing. You were so scary, I might just have to go as you for nightmare night this year." Cybe calmed down and lifted her onto his shoulder.
"Well, those two won't bother you anymore. And if they do, find me a diamond to keep on hand." This caused her to burst out laughing. Sweetie Belle and Applebloom ran up to them.
"We saw what happened, you were so cool." Exclaimed Sweetie Belle.
"Yeah, I'm sure that them two won't be botherin us fer along time." Said Applebloom. Cybe chuckled and looked to Scootaloo.
"Why don't you introduce me to your friends." She nodded.
"Cybe, this is Rarity's sister Sweetie Belle. And Applejack's sister Applebloom. Girls, this is my new big brother Cybe." He knelt down to be at eye level.
"Pleased to meet you two." They exchanged a bit about themselves. Cybe then remembered something. "Where's Jewel?"
"With Pinkie Pie." They said in unison. He remembered that he had to meet Fluttershy for tea.
"Well girls it's been fun, but ive got to go see Fluttershy. Come get me if something else happens ok." They nodded and headed to Sugarcube Corner.
As he walked along the path he felt a chill. "That was, odd." He continued down the path and arrived at Fluttershy's cottage where she was setting a small table. "Hello Fluttershy, how are you doing today?" She jumped a little and turned to see him.
"Oh hello Cybe, I'm just getting the tea ready. I'll just be a minute."
"Take your time, I'm in no rush." She smiled and flew into her house. While he was waiting he met Angel bunny, who was giving him a disapproving stare. A few scratches behind the ears was enough to fix that. It wasn't long before he was surrounded by the animals, all looking at him with curiosity. A few birds perched on his head and some squirrels rested in his arms. A bear walked by and gave Cybe a quick sniff, sensing no danger the bear continued on its way. He heard a poof behind him, he looked around and saw Discord. "Good afternoon Discord, how are you today?" Discord smiled on the outside but inside he was asking how Cybe was so level headed.
"I'm doing fine, thank you for asking." He noticed all the animals around him. "I see you've already acquainted yourself with Fluttershy's animals. They don't just warm up to anyone you know." He pointed to Angel. "Took me a whole year to get this one on my side." Angel stuck his tongue out and hopped into the cottage. Fluttershy flew out of the cottage shortly after with a tea set in hoof. She was humming to herself while setting the table, she flew back inside and returned with some sandwiches and small cakes. Cybe just looked at her, admiring her natural grace as she preformed the simplest task. He shook his head and woke up from his trance.
What just happened? He thought to himself. She turned around and saw the animals surrounding him. She giggled slightly as a bird peeked at his hair.
"I didn't realise you were so good with animals Cybe." He chuckled and and stroked a badger with his claw. They all sat down at the table and Fluttershy poured the tea. "So Cybe, tell us something about yourself." Cybe took a sip of his tea and thought for a moment.
"What would you like to know?" Discord stroked his beard in thought.
"Hobbies, favourite food. That sort of stuff." Fluttershy nodded and they both looked to him.
"Well for hobbies. I like to sketch from time to time, I play a few instruments, bird watching and cooking. My favourite food would have to be grilled fish." They both flinched when they heard that word fish.
"You're a carnivore?" Asked Discord hesitantly. Cybe shook his head.
"Omnivore, I can eat vegetation and meat. I don't eat meat for every meal, it's more for a balanced diet." Both of them sighed in relief. "I know that eating meat is a large taboo here, but it's necessary for humans."
"Let's change the subject shall we?" Pleaded Fluttershy, they both nodded. "So Cybe, how long do you think you'll be here in Equestria?"
"Permanently." Discord summoned a glass of water to spit out.
"What?" They asked in unison.
"Celestia told me that I'm here for good. Also, we should expect more things to come out of the portal that brought us here." He turned to Discord. "She also told me that you were to tell me if you sense a magical disturbance."
"Oh yes, I received a letter about that this morning." He drank his tea and conjured up a napkin. "So did anything interesting happen today?" Cybe rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Look back to about thirty minutes ago." Discord nodded and vanished. Fluttershy looked confused.
"What did you do?" He calmly chewed a sandwich.
"I took care of the girls bully problem."
"How?" He sighed.
"You aren't gonna like what you hear from Discord." At that moment Discord appeared struggling to hold in his laughter. Cybe just looked to the ground ashamed. "It's not funny Discord, I don't like doing things like that."
"Oh come on, the looks on their faces when you crushed that diamond were priceless!" He began to roar in laughter. Cybe just buried his face in his hands. Fluttershy flew to his side.
"What's wrong?" Cybe looked away from her, not wanting to tell her about it. "And what's this about crushing a diamond?" Discord ceased his laughter.
"Allow me to show you." He placed his paw on her head and Cybe started to panic.
"NO WAIT!!!" It was to late, Fluttershy saw everything. He got up and started walking away, when they regained consciousness Fluttershy was trying to process what she saw.
"Oh, my..." She looked around and tried to find Cybe, but he was gone. "I don't think you should've done that Discord."
"Why?" She pointed to Cybe's empty chair. "Oh."
"Where did he go, oh this is horrible. He must feel terrible after that." Discord gave her a confused look.
"Why, he got rid of those brats and saved the CMC further humiliation, why would he feel bad?"
"Because he let his emotions get the better of him Discord. Didn't you see the look on his face when you looked into his memories, he obviously didn't like being that type of po...er person." Discord was processing. "Don't you remember how you felt when you let your emotions take over?" His heart fell when he realised what he had just done.
"Oh dear Celestia what have I done?" He lifted Fluttershy to eye level. "We have to find him." She nodded. Just as they were about to head out, Discord felt a chill. "Oh not now."
"What's wrong?" Discord grunted
"Something else just entered this world, and something big."
Cybe had arrived at the pond he visited earlier, he didn't want to leave like that but he needed time to cool off. He knew that Discord didn't understand and that he found those kind of things amusing, so he didn't blame him. He suddenly felt another chill. "What is that?" He decided to question it later, right now he had to calm down. "Just when I thought things were going well here." He sighed and stared at the horizon. "The girls probably got something to eat at sugarcube corner, so I won't have to worry about groceries until tomorrow." He looked to the bag on his belt, he held it in his claw to weigh it. "There's easily two hundred bits in here, I didn't even do a whole lot. Now that I think about it, AJ said that I did in a few hours what would take them three days. AJ and Big Mac seem strong and well built, I don't understand why it would take them so long." He returned the pouch to his belt, he pulled out a picture of four people. It was a photo of his family before the fire. "I need to get myself under control, I can't let what happened today happen again. It's to risky."
He heard a poof on the other side of the pond, he turned to see Fluttershy and Discord flying towards him. "Cybe, I'm sorry about earlier but we have a problem."
"What's wrong Discord?"
"Something's come through the portal." Cybe was taken back, his face turned from shock to determination.
"Where?"
"I'll teleport us there." With a snap of his claw they were gone. They reappeared in the area that Cybe and Jewel first appeared. Cybe couldn't believe what he saw, Discord was admiring the chaotic design of the figure and Fluttershy was cowering in fear.
"Discord, could you go to my house and bring a silver case here?" Discord nodded and teleported away, he returned with the case and handed it to Cybe. Cybe kicked the case open and carefully looked over the collection of robotic arms. He pulled his current one out of its socket causing Fluttershy to scream, he then attached a blue version of his arm. He walked over to the figure and opened a hatch. "Now, let's see if we can get you working again." His arm lit up and multiple appendages appeared from several slots, each bearing a different tool. After a few minutes of tinkering he pulled his arm out of the hatch, he closed it a gently punched the figure. "Time to wake up big guy." The figure rose to its feet, a few sparks seeped from its joints. When it stood up straight it looked down at Cybe.
It looked around at the figures that stood before him. Cybe walked in front of him to talk.
"Good to see you're still able to function, can I ask who you are?" The figure looked unsure.
"Where am I, where are Shadow and Rouge?"
"Are Shadow and Rouge your friends?"
"Affirmative, what is this place, and who are you, are you an eggman robot?"
"I'm sorry, but I have never heard of this eggman, is he your creator?"
"Regrettably yes, I have vowed revenge against my creator for wasting my potential."
"Really?"
"I will show him that I am the ultimate E-Series robot and reign supreme!"
"Interesting tale, what is your name?"
"I am E-123 Omega, the last of the E-100 series."
"Pleasure to meet you Omega, my name is Cybe Catcher. I am the last cyborg on my world."
"What is this place?" Cybe sighed.
"Omega, before you were deactivated, did you come across a black gem?"
"Affirmative!"
"Then I'm sorry Omega, but I'm afraid you are trapped in this world for good like me."
"What do you mean?" Cybe reached out his arm.
"I will transfer my data to you, to better explain the situation." He placed his claw on Omegas head and began to share information, Omega traded this info with data on his world. "Do you understand now?" Omega hesitated, realising that he could not complete his mission.
"Affirmative." Cybe looked at the info that Omega had given him.
"I'm sorry you had to get mixed up in this Omega, and about your mission." Omega fell in defeat. "How about I give you a new mission, one that I know you can complete?" Omega looked at him unsure, he would be abandoning his current mission to take on a new one. He realised it was the best option and nodded.
"Deleting current mission... Mission deleted, insert new mission data." Cybe smirked and placed his claw on Omegas head, giving him his new objective. "Mission received, new mission, protect the land of Equestria and follow the orders of Cybe Catcher and the Royal sisters." Cybe thought for a moment, he wanted Omega to be more than a machine.
"Omega, can I make a few adjustments to your systems?" He nodded. Cybe opened the hatch again and started altering his mainframe, he gave Omega a personality, emotions and free will. In short, he gave Omega a soul. "All done. How do you feel?" Omega was adjusting to his new program, he looked to Cybe then to Discord and Fluttershy.
"I feel...I feel, good." Cybe clapped and placed his claw on his huge shoulder.
"Come on Omega, let's introduce you to my friends."
After Cybe introduced Discord and finally got Fluttershy to stop hiding, he picked up his case and they began walking to ponyville. Omega then stopped. "Sensors indicate multiple friendlies approach in our area." Cybe looked to him.
"Ponies, out here?"
"Three ponies, two unidentifiable and two humans." Cybe looked at him.
"Where?" Before Omega could answer, Cybe found himself holding a sword back with his claw, when he saw what was wielding the blade his eyes grew in surprise. "What the?"

Editor and Narrator short: guys night
Eclipse, Discord, Cybe, Omega, Doctor, Shard, Symbol, Editor and Author were sitting at a large poker table playing Texas hold'em.
Cybe: Hey Author, can I ask you something?
Author: Sure
Cybe: Why do you and Symbol always pick on Narrator?
Author: We're trying to whip him into shape
Symbol: It also distracts him from the memories of his old job
Cybe: What was his old job?
Symbol/Author: Narrating foalcon.
A shiver went down Cybe's metallic spine.
Cybe: Dear God, now I feel even more sorry for the guy
All: Same
Shard: Hey, aren't you guys supposed to be working on the next chapter?
Author: We are working on it, it's just taking more time
Editor: We've got about 40% of it done
Shard: Ah, ok
The next round of betting began and everyone looked at their cards. Cybe took a drink of his beer and Discord drank his glass, literally.
Eclipse: Hey wait a minute where is Narrator?
Symbol: Still recovering from remembering his old job
Omega: What in the name of Griffith did you do?
Symbol: Hey, that's my line
Omega: So? You weren't butchered back in 2006
Symbol: It's bad enough I played that game but now you mock me with it?
Omega: Those were dark times my friend
Doctor: Why don't I take you back in time to prevent the game from being created?
Symbol: Tried, didn't work
Doctor: How?
Symbol: Deadpool
Doctor: Ah
The night went on basically the same, Cybe eventually won the money and Discord and Eclipse had gotten into a drinking competition.
Discord: I'm the great and *hic* powerful Discord *hic* you cannot defeat me!
Eclipse: We'll see 'bout that.
The two then drank three other bottles of hard whiskey. After an intense stare down, Discord feel to the ground unconscious. Eclipse grabbed another bottle and began swinging it.
Eclipse: Hail to the *hic* king!
With that he fell back in his chair. Cybe looked at them and sighed.
Cybe: A face palm isn't enough anymore. Omega?
Omega: I gotcha
Omega smacked Cybe right in his face and sent him flying back.
Cybe: Thank you
Unknown to them, back at the studio, Narrator was curled up in a corner of his trailer.
Narrator: Get out of my head Sweetie Belle, get the hell outta my head
Meanwhile someone was leaning against the outside of his trailer listening to plees of Narrator.
