                         Prologue

Prologue
It was night. Luna was walking through the Royal Garden, looking at her nocturnal plants, when a shadowy figure came out of the bushes and attacked her. "Sister! Help!", Luna screamed. Celestia heard her sister's cry for help and teleported over to her. Celestia said in a stern voice, "Unhand the princess of the night at once you scoundrel!"
The figure turned around which Luna and Celestia could now see was a charcoal colored unicorn stallion with a red mohawk, and blasted Celestia right in the face. Celestia screamed and then  suddenly went limp. Luna roared with anger and despair and escaped the pony's grasp. She quickly looked up at the sky and grabbed the nearest stars with her magic and shot them at her attacker. Before he could move an inch, he was dead. Luna then rushed over to her sister's corpse and sobbed. "My sister is dead, she thought, DEAD! What I am supposed to do now!" Then Luna thought of something and raced over to the Crystal Empire.

Wait! What happened Luna, slow down, said Cadence. Luna sighed and started again. "An unidentified stallion killed Celestia, and we have to execute "The Plan". Cadence's face showed confusion and then had a surprised look on it, you don't mean... Cadence's face turned into a grim frown. "Yes I'm afraid so, Celestia was murdered by some stallion with a grey coat and a red mohawk manecut.  "Did you kill the pony, if not he's probably on the loose!" Cadence broke into tears. "I killed the stallion of course but I'm still freaking out and wondering if theres more of these guys around Canterlot waiting for me to come back, Luna said between tears. Then Luna hugged her and cried.
