Lost In The Beat

Rainbow tossed and turned in her sleep. She wasn't still all night, and certainly wasn't going to be. Feeling terrible, she stumbled over to her closet.

"Why? Oh wait. I need to find Rarity. Stupid song, stupid life." Rainbow grumbled. She picked out three outfits, two weights, and a pair of running shoes. She grabbed a piece of paper and her favorite pen and wrote,

Dear Mom & Dad,

I, Rainbow Jennifer Dash have set out to find Rarity. No, I am not running away, just going on a journey. I hope you aren't mad that I'm trying to find the freaking Element Of Generosity. If I'm not back in three days, tell the police or tell the school I'm on a special trip. I prefer the School option first. I will not die for sure. Oh, and before I forget, tell everybody I'm 20% Cooler.

Now satisfied with her letter, she walked down the stairs to the kitchen. She slowly opened the kitchen door so she wouldn't wake her parents. She grabbed things she didn't need to be heated and put them in her bag. She walked to the front door and opened it. She paused halfway out of the house.

"Goodbye, you will be certainly missed." She whispered before stepping out of the house and shutting the door.

It was now morning, and Mr. & Mrs. Dash went to go wake Rainbow up. They stepped into her room. No Rainbow. Then, Mrs. Dash saw Rainbow's letter. She showed her husband. He went pale.

"R-R-Rainbow?" Mr. Dash asked. "If this is a joke, please stop. That Pinkie character is not good for you. Get ready for school." His voice was shakier than before.

"Let's head downstairs." Mrs. Dash suggested. Her husband simply nodded. On the bottom of the stairs was a note. It read,

I know you wouldn't take my first note seriously, and this is serious. I am going to find Rarity. I left at 2:36 am. My note that you have already read tells more info. RD out!

Both of the parents fainted at the same time, one letter in each's hand.

Rainbow was the talk of the school.  Nobody could even stop talking. Lunch was even worse.

"She's been kidnapped like Rarity! Oh no! Fluttershy's gonna be next!" Yelled a drama.

"She's probably dead!" Yelled an Eco.

"Rainbow's totally g...." Began a Fashionista.

"ENOUGH! RAINBOW NOR RARITY IS DEAD! IF THEY WERE, I'D HAVE TWO ELEMENT NECKLACES! SO STOP MAKING ASSUPTIONS! RAINBOW WENT TO FIND RARITY!" Twilight yelled. Everybody looked weird. Just to Sunset's luck, she was handed a newspaper. She cleared her throat and began to read.

RARITY AND DASH MISSING! SWEETIE BELLE CURRENTLY IN DEPRESSION. BOTH GIRLS ARE DEAD!

Our reporting team went to the Carousel Boutique and found a disheveled Sweetie Belle. Her face was tear-stained, her hair was matted, and she had numerous scratches, possibly from Opalessence. She claimed to have lost everything and if her sister wasn't found within three days, she would end it. I don't want her dead. We have a petition called Save Sweetie. Please donate. Twilight's eye rapidly twitched. She then cried.

"What's wrong Sugarcube?" Applejack asked.

"First of all, Rarity's missing. Second of all, Rainbow's gone, and Third of all, Sweetie's going to commit suicide if Rarity isn't back!" Twilight sobbed.
