Jonathan Xavier looked at a monitor and moved towards the stasis chambers to barricade the door. He quickly ran to the nearest control panel and directed all power towards the room. As he looked around, he discovered the intruders killing all of the NED members on the base he was in, one by one. It was a slaughter. He then realized something. He was the only New Exodus Division member left alive at the infrastructure, other than the people in the stasis chambers. As he took a second to realize what was taking place, the intruders began to break his barricade down. It would only be a few minutes before they destroyed it. He thought about what he should do. They were probably going to shoot down all the people in here. Only... They hadn’t cut the power down. He set about to order a lockdown to the stasis room, and he safely got into the main grid before the other intruders. Phew. “Jonathan? Jonathan! Buy yourself some time! Hurry! I’m sending the stasis chamber into space! Head into a pod now! Hurry–” Static followed after. Jonathan didn't have enough time to react. He immediately went to the closest pod available and entered it. That sweet voice was the final thing he heard. March 20, 5040. Stasis Grid 33-01, Somewhere in US/White Tail Woods. There were some blinking lights before the intercom cracked up to life in an automated voice. “Good Afternoon. It’s March 20, 5040.” “Wake up initiated on #2203-57B.” “Global Population... Zero.” “Time elapsed since re-entry is 75 minutes.” Lily Xavier woke up from her stasis pod, coughing from the debris and dirt that was around her pod. What exactly had happened here? Why were they in space? Lily looked around and walked towards the exit which was, to her surprise, closed up. Huh. She was then greeted by a hologram of her... father. “Lily! I knew you would've woken up. Look,” the hologram said, before it shifted for a split second, “after the re-entry, I noticed something else. I have blocked up the exit for that. Just... wake your friends. I have your DNA signature set to wake them. Any questions?” “What... what’s going on, dad?” asked Lily. “Humanity’s gone. We were ambushed by terrorists. Just you and your friends along with a few stasis chambers were salvaged,” the hologram replied before it flickered off. “Dad?” she cried, “are you there? Blasted cryostasis pods and their functions!” Silence. She sighed. She was alone once more, but not for long. She headed towards the control panel, which was mostly gone, save for a DNA scanner and a button. There was also a note, which she read. Your curiosity will get the better of you. ~Xavier Lily smiled slightly. Her father never left her, not this very moment yet. She then proceeded to the DNA scanner and let it scan her DNA. Lily then stepped backward as she looked at the stasis chambers and saw the pods move from their locations. Once they stopped moving, four figures rose from the pods that were near the floor. She went closer and discovered that it was her friends. She smiled again. “Mark? Ruth? Jack? Blake? GUYS!” She went over right away and hugged them. “It’s been so long since I’ve seen saw you all!” “Yeah,” Jack replied, “been so long. How long, though?” Lily looked at the others before blushing in embarrassment. “Let me check first, guys.” Lily went to the console and pressed the available button. It was wired into two features, one to tell the time and the other to open the exit. She noticed this and was confused. Blake came by and noticed the control panel. "Woah," said Blake, "it looks like it was smashed by a hammer an hour ago." "Nice eyes, miss 'Blacky Blake.'" Lily noticed it as well. "Well... Dad did save us from some terrorists, according to the history log..." "Terrorists?" Mark asked, walking up to the two girls. "Really?" "Well... yeah," Lily replied, "terrorists. The path's open! Look!" Lily pointed to the exit, which was now free of anything blocking it, and the five headed outside, only for them to get shocked. Jonathan was standing outside! He greeted them with a cheerful smile. "Yeah, I know." Jonathan looked around and gazed back. "Like what I did? I've set up a perimeter around the entry so that you guys can enter and exit safely back to the stasis chambers." He pointed to said radio, which was pretty makeshift. Jack got closer and noticed something. "Sir, can I do something?" asked Jack. "I'm going to fix this radio. Can I?" "Sure, " said Jonathan with a smile before muttering something. "What?" Mark asked. Before Jonathan could speak, he was interrupted by the sound of people talking coming from the radio. Everyone looked at him in surprise. Lily giggled a bit, recognizing what her friends could do. They could've formed their own job group if the rules had allowed it, but they did it anyway for fun, as they were still 15. Nevertheless, it was an unbelievable feat Jack had accomplished. "How did you fix it?" Jonathan asked, befuddled. "Just moved a few pieces," Jack answered, "that's all." "Also explains the broken panel," Ruth added. As they listened to the radio, they could hear families, gossip and what seemed to be people playing games. And one of the radio channels they passed was a funky song which caused them to headbob a bit. After a few seconds, they stumbled on a private station where a woman was calling for Jonathan. He and Lily recognized the voice. "Sarah/Mom!" they cried out in joy as they connected a microphone and connected to the station. "You're okay!" "Woah, hold your horses," Sarah replied. "I understand you guys have re-entered Earth. My scans are picking you up... over a makeshift radio." "Yeah, about that, honey..." Jonathan was nervous. "Forget it. We still can't re-enter because of reasons," Sarah interrupted. "Since you guys have arrived on Earth, do us a favor, please?" "Ma," said Lily, "go on." "Go and scout the place, please?" Sarah asked. "Please?" "I'm already collecting information here," Jonathan responded. "Tell them I'll give them some information in a few days. See ya, sugar." He then faced the others. "Say goodbye, everyone!" As they bade her farewell, Lily couldn't think of anything to say. She could hardly think of what to say to her parents' alive workmates. And then when it was her turn, she sang a small song. "Things may come and things may go, Some go fast, and some go slow, Few things last, that's all I know, But friendship carries on through the ages..." She finished singing to look at her friends before finishing, "See you soon, Mom." "See you soon, sweetie." Sarah replied before the radio channel dispersed into static. Suggestions? Ideas? A First Encounter Pt. 1First Encounter After Lily and her friends took a gasp of fresh air, she had decided to assist her father in fixing a multitude of items which are important for survival as they know that there are no longer humans on the planet. She too knew something they didn't know; something else was dominating the planet, and she was sure of it. She just saw one of them when she sang the song. Was it something she sang that attracted it, or it was something that just became lost on the way? Lily then proceeded to forget about the confrontation and decided to call Blake. Blake was cleaning her guitar until she heard rumbling from a bush. She faced at the bush and ignored it. After a few seconds of cleaning, she tried to play a few chords. It went well and everything worked out. She then got up to play a song until Lily called her. "Coming!" Blake shouted back, before she noticed a bush shake again. She dismissed it and came to Lily, unaware of the eyes peeking from the bush. After arriving, Blake looked at the items they have repaired. She then noticed a box with her name on it, along with a few boxes which are also labelled. She smiled as she held hers and slowly opened it. The smile grew as she took a hold of the item that was inside. "My very own Chronosocket..." Blake took a peep into its compartments to find a variety of instruments she played. "Thank you so much, pal!" Blake hugged Lily sudden that Lily was turning blue, and Blake stopped hugging at that time. She then looked back until she heard steps which attracted attention from all of them. "What was that?" Mark asked, "be aware guys..." "I'm noticing that," Jonathan replied, "kids, we're on high alert. Lily, let's give this boxes to your friends, will we?" "It's 'shall we,' dad," Lily corrected. Jonathan let out a soft laugh before handing out the boxes to each of her friends. After various reactions, including Ruth's bland reaction and Lily's reaction after she presented her own Chronosocket. She was confounded on how she got it, but Ruth was her friend, and she has her own ways. All of a sudden, there was glass shattering, and they went to check it out. Lily went first, and to her surprise, it was one of them. The pony froze in sight as she got caught by Lily. They gazed at each other before Lily's father came, causing Lily to slightly panic. "Run, hurry!" Lily whispered, and the pony quickly vanished into the bushes, while Lily picked up the broken lantern pieces which the pony broke. She then looked at her dad before accidentally getting a cut from one of the glass fragments. Referable to the slight accident, Jonathan quickly came and placed a bandage to the cut. He then questioned why the lantern was broken, but quickly ignored it for her daughter got wounded. They quickly went inside the chambers while Blake wondered who broke the lantern, but then was called by Jack to come indoors at night came. They seemed at the stasis pods and decided to turn five pods into beds for them to use. It was a tiring work and they've finished just in time for dinner. As everyone departed to bed, Lily made sure everyone was asleep. And when everyone was, she jumped out of bed, sneaked her way outside, and got closer to the bush where a certain pony was hiding. "You can come out now," Lily called, and the pony went out of the shadows. "What's your name?" "I'm... Twilight Sparkle," the pony replied, "and I came to look into the mysterious comet that has landed here, but all I saw was you. Who are you?" "I'm... Lily. Lily Xavier," Lily replied, "I suppose you're not a horse?" "I'm a pony," Twilight retorted, "and what are you?" "Human," Lily answered, "we... lived before you guys came." "Human. Reminds me of that place where Sunset Shimmer was..." Twilight commented before looking at Lily. "Are they any other humans left?" "Outside the planet, yes," Lily answered, "down here... it's only me, my friends, and my dad." "Oh." Twilight looked at where the broken lantern once stood. "Sorry about the lantern." "Oh, we can replace that," Lily answered. She then pulled out her Chronosocket and opened one of its compartments and pulled out a slice of gum. "Oh, can I have some?" Twilight asked. "Sure, here you go." Lily pulled away a bar of gum from her compartment as she closed it. Twilight then took the gum. "How did you manage to make that knife?" Twilight asked, "it's really impossible to create something larger on the inside." "Well," Lily shifted her eyes as she started to explain. "My dad invented them... each four compartments are connected to a major one through a portal which is produced using synthetic black holes that never collapses on itself." "Await," Twilight paused, chewing her gum, "black holes?" "Yup," Lily replied, before yawning. "Well, it's actually getting late. How about we see tomorrow?" "I actually don't believe it's a bad idea," Twilight replied after she continued chewing the gum, "but, your father just woke up, noticed you're out of bed, and is talking to a creature you just met." "What?" Lily looked back as she realized her dad was staring at her with his jaw hanging. "Oh. Dad, this is Twilight Sparkle. Twilight, this is my dad, Jonathan Xavier." Jonathan looked at her, fixed himself and quickly pointed a pistol to Twilight, which caused Lily to immediately reach over and block the pony out of harm. "Dad, why'd you do that!?" Lily asked. "That animal is not allowed here," Jonathan growled, "now move." As Lily and Jonathan got into an argument, Twilight took this chance to escape by teleporting out of the situation. Lily then stopped after noticing Twilight has gone in a instant. Jonathan was shocked, missing the opportunity to capture the pony. "Great, you scared her dad," Lily said sarcastically. "What?" Jonathan asked, "go to sleep." Lily walked to her bed as she spit what she was chewing into a bin. As Lily slept, she couldn't help but think about Twilight, who in turn, was imagining about her. "But friendship, carries on through the ages..." Twilight quoted before staring into White Tail Woods through the window near her. "See you soon." Lily blinked as she noticed her dreamscape unusually empty. She looked round, took a deep breath, and then began to shape her dream world into a neighborhood with no one in it, because all she knew except for her friends, was dead. Still, things got odd as a moon raised, causing Lily to wonder if there was a pony who can visit dreams. Her question was resolved when a pony appeared and walked to her. "I see how you've kept my dear sister's student safe from harm, young one." Lily blinked as her smile broadened. "So I did..." Dreaming [Remake 0%]Dreaming "So I did... who are you?" Lily asked. "I'm Princess Luna," the pony replied, causing Lily to be shocked, "I am the Princess of the Night." "Night?" Lily looked around. "So you visit other people's dreams?" "I don't know how exactly I got into your dream," Luna confessed, "but yes. I can. Would you like a turn around?" Lily wasn't sure how to respond. In fact, she doesn't know anything about dreams at all. She could trust this pony, but should she? It was all new to Lily, so she nodded yes, and as quickly as possible, they were in a realm with a seemingly endless row of doorways. Lily looked around and tried to open one, but she stopped herself before opening the one nearest to her. She then faced up at Luna. "Can you take me to Twilight's dream?" Lily requested. "Hmm." Luna placed a hoof up her chin. "Let me see..." Lily looked out as the doors shifted until it stopped on a crystal door, and Lily pressed an ear to the door. She discovered a voice of a familiar mare which she met when she was awake that day. She smiled, and asked permission if she could go into her dream. "I can see why not?" Luna opened the door and they both went in. As they entered, Lily looked at Twilight who was barely walking around, dancing. Afterward a few seconds, Twilight stopped and noticed Luna. She jumped in shock and was more shocked to visit Lily, who was waving hi. "How?" Twilight asked. "She... um... led me to you?" Lily lied. Luna then let out a soft laugh as Twilight raised an eyebrow. "I only wanted to see you, but I honestly didn't expect her to come, then all I saw was this place, and then, and then..." "At least you met Princess Luna," said Twilight, "I reckon you only know my name." Lily flinched and stepped back. "You're... also a Princess?" "You don't know much about ponies," Twilight asked back, "do you?" "No... not exactly..." Lily blushed. "I... well it was obvious you were ponies... I just don't mind the horns and wings..." At that point, Luna noticed something. Something was on Lily's pocket, and she pulled it out. It was a cell phone, which caused her eyes widen. The two ponies looked at the machine and looked at Lily. Lily looked around the phone and clicked the unlock button, and looked at the cover. Instead of the regular swipe-to-unlock screen, it showed a swipe-to-awaken screen. She looked around and kept the cell phone as she had utterly no idea why it appeared. "What was that?" Twilight asked. Lily looked at Twilight and sighed. "A cellular phone. Something a few humans invented for easy access to other people far away. It's just that the phone's my way to wake up, apparently." "What do you mean?" Luna asked, puzzled. "I can't explain," Lily replied, "and I guess it's morning." Luna shifted position as she realized that the sun had just brought up. "Huh. You're right, dear human." Lily then smiled as she yawned. "See you soon, Princess Luna and Twilight," Lily said, taking the phone from her pocket. "I'm going to your place soon, Twi." "Catch you later!" Twilight waved her hoof as Lily swiped her finger across the screen, which caused her to vanish on the Dreamscape. Luna then got hold of the magic that was employed and wondered how humans got that specific kind of magic. As Luna exited the Dreamscape, she couldn't help but think about the humans living alongside the one she just came across. She questioned how many humans are there, and what she could do with a special human guard. She quickly banished the idea as she was already thinking about security when she doesn't even know where Lily was, and what the comet brought. Lily woke up on the right side of the bed. As she skipped off the modified pod, she couldn't think, but remember the dream she had. She couldn't even believe whom in the fact that she used inception on Twilight for them to visit each other. Her joy simply vanished as Jack sat beside her. "Hey Lily," Jack stated, "you slept comfortably, even though you slept late." Lily was shocked about his claim. "How did you know...?" "I heard you talking at midnight," Jack responded, "I just wonder to whom..." Lily shifted position and looked intently at Jack. "Don't tell anyone about this, okay?" "Sure," Jack promised, "tell it." "It was a winged unicorn pony named Twilight Sparkle," Lily replied, "and while I'm asleep, another pony named Princess Luna." Jack looked around and smiled. "I guess we all share secrets, eh? Come out, miss Applejack!" "Oh," called a pony with a Stetson hat, "they're departed now, have they Jack?" The pony then noticed Lily who waved back. "Oh. Hi. Ah'm Applejack. Friend of Twilight." "Nice to meet you, Applejack." Lily bowed her head slightly in respect as Applejack lowered her hat in deference as well. "How'd you end up here anyway?" "Ah sneaked my way in," the pony with a hat replied, "cause why not?" Lily looked at Jack and gently laughed. She then faced Applejack and grinned. "Tell me, where does Twilight live? I want to visit her, please," Lily requested. Sneaking Through [Remake 0%]Sneaking Through "Twilight you say?" Applejack asked, and she nodded. "She lives in Ponyville, just like Ah do, why you askin'?" "Oh, nothing..." Lily replied, her tone going in a childish way. Jack was rather surprised at her actions, like her dad's lessons about formality and maturity are wearing off. Ruth came in and noticed Applejack, which caused the pony to quickly hide. "Wow, Applejack, you're more scaredy cat than my dad," Ruth joked, which caused Applejack glare at Ruth. "Just joking, just joking!" Jack and Lily looked at Ruth with unease and confusion as she knew the pony like she was a pony herself. Jack couldn't think of anything else more than eavesdropping, but Lily was thinking something else. What if, Ruth knew where Twilight was? She thought. What if, she knew what the ponies are? Oh, that's simply something to discover! She might be the answer to everything I was thinking about! All those questions, and is Twilight really a princess? Her mental stream of thoughts was cut off as Ruth rolled her left sleeve which showed a tattoo of a mechanical hourglass which Applejack recognized. "Silver Style's cutie mark!" "That's my dad alright," Ruth replied, unrolling her sleeve, "while this is my cutie mark." She then rolled her right sleeve which showed a spaceship. "Oh. Those tattoos are called cutie marks," Lily noted, "should we... eat breakfast first? I'm getting hungry, and I don't want to forget my dream about Princess Luna." "Let's go now," Ruth called, "and Applejack?" "Yes?" Applejack asked. "Call me, Ruth. My dad should've said something about me when he time travelled back here," said Ruby. "And Ah was about to call you Silverwing," Applejack deadpanned before heading to her hiding spot. "Ruth Silverwing's my full name," Ruth said back, unamused. "Oh!" After a silent breakfast, Lily and her friends headed inside to "play," when their true goals were to sneak Applejack out, due to Ruth's undeniable request. So they went to Applejack's hiding spot where she was found playing Ruth's Solitaire which seemed to be designed after ponies, much to Mark's shock. Meanwhile, Jonathan tried to establish a spiritual connection to the world by meditating. (Blake was annoyed by this as it makes her hair go frizzy all the time.) "So, sneaking me out you say?" Applejack asked, "Ah can do it on my own." "Hmm... risk being seen by Lily's overprotective dad?" Ruth asked back. "Not a chance!" "Ah guess yer right," Applejack looked at Lily's friends and chuckled a bit. "Are ya sure this will work?" "In return, you lead me to where Twilight lived," Lily offered. Applejack looked at her with an unbelieving stare. "Must say I wanted to see her?" "Okay then," Applejack then stood from her position, "onwards to Ponyville then—" Their meeting was disrupted when a scream filled the air. Lily and Applejack recognized the voice. "TWILIGHT!" They quickly ran outside and followed where the voice was, much to Jonathan's shock. He got a glimpse of the pony with them and took his AC-47 Laser Rifle Mrk. II and headed outside, secretly following them. Twilight hang from a ravine, and her friends were trying to help her. However, due to the weight and how exhausted the other ponies were, they couldn't. A few only wondered why she had strapped her wings shut. Their effects were nearly wasted until a bunch of weird-looking clothed apes came along with Applejack and helped them save Twilight. They were extremely thankful until one of the ponies tackle-hugged Ruth out of nowhere. "Oh, my daughter! How I've missed out!" said the stallion with silver mane and light brown fur. "How'd you got here without time travel? Me and Discord didn't detect any disturbance..." "Uh... probably because a mysterious comet nearly smashed a part of White Tail Woods?" Ruth replied, which caused most of the ponies to get shocked, a few fainting. "Okay, dad, you never said the population of Ponyville was this big." "Did I even said so?" he replied. Twilight interrupted the reunion saying, "Okay, cut the reunion first and I think that's Lily's father with a... oh. Big gun." They all looked at Jonathan who was fuming with anger, which creeped Lily out for a few seconds. "Lily, get away from them..." Jonathan growled. "No!" Lily shouted back. "This isn't you dad! You loved learning something like this!" "I wasn't permissive back then," Jonathan replied, "I won't let it again." Lily looked at the ponies before using the EMP button her Chronosocket has, causing her dad's rifle to glitch and turn off. Jonathan was then tackled by the ponies as 4 came towards Lily and the others. Ruth then felt something like magic and found herself as a pony, as much to her surprise and disappointment. "Okay," Lily commented, twitching, "Ruth's a pretty little pony. I'm going to squeal and hug now." "... I think I broke her.... LILY!" Ruth immediately ran off, laughing. Blake rolled her eyes. "Then we found out Jack's in love with Lily and I was meditating." She received glances from everyone else. "Who would even believe it if it doesn't come true?" "Good point, Blake," Jack replied. "Although if Ruth's a halfling from a pony from the future, does that make her a time traveller too?" "You'd rather not talk about that!" shouted a pony with an hourglass cutie mark. "You'd rather not!" added Silver Style. "Celestia?" "Yes, my sister?" "I have returned from Ponyville with news." "What so?" Celestia asked, curious. "The comet that has arrived from space that landed on White Tail Woods contained humans," Luna replied, "I just met two while at the dream realm." Celestia looked at Luna, slightly surprised. "And those are?" "Lily Xavier and Ruth Silverwing," Luna answered. "It seems like Dr. Silver Style did have a child after all of his experiments about time magic. However, Tia, it was still a mystery on how she survived." "Then you must look at this." Luna looked closer to what Celestia was looking and saw a blueprint of a stasis pod. "It seems that humans have the technology to build slumber pods that can let them sleep for more than a thousand years," Celestia commented, "don't you think they used this, Lulu?" "Maybe they did, sister," Luna replied confidently, "maybe they did." "And, it also seems that there was a children's show with 84% accuracy with what we did." Luna looked up amused. "Does it start with Twilight's visit to Ponyville?" "Yes, but–" Celestia was interrupted by a hoof. "Let's just say I have a few timey-wimey with our time travellers," said Luna, before lowering her hoof. Celestia felt the need to laugh at the same time the urge to pelt her sister with something. "So I did..."
Dreaming [Remake 0%]Dreaming "So I did... who are you?" Lily asked.
