A teenage mare and her demon friend
a few years have passed since that day when the two ponies first met each other, Alexis wanted Grim to be her butler which her mother and father approved of, Grim took care of Alexis, Grim served as a friend and a protector but when Alexis turned 19 she wanted more, she wanted Grim to be with her always until her death.
Grim didn't know she had these sort of feelings not in an attractive way but in a family way. Alexis asked her parents anonymously for Grim to be the family's butler. Her parents believed Grim to be a sort of evil for some time since he was a demon and all, but Alexis tried and tried to convince her parents to accept Grim into the family. some more months, days, weeks pasted until Alexis met her new colt friend BrightStar they had a very big love for each other.
He is one HELL of a butler
It took a couple of months for Alexis' parents to approve of Grim's position, Grim was accepted into the family since he lost his own family.
Alexis was happy that Grim was her butler and protector she even admitted to Grim.
"Grim... your like an uncle to me," she said this with great embarrassment, Grim chuckled while saying. "Alexis don't get embarrassed by it you are like a daughter to me." Alexis hugged Grim and Grim did the same to Alexis, a few months passed when Grim found a stallion asking him of his business as a demon reaper Grim snapped at the stallion, Alexis quickly stopped Grim from hitting her boyfriend.
"GRIM STOP DONT HIT HIM!!!!" Grim quickly stopped and moved back from the mare as she cuddled her boyfriend.
"Hello Grim my name is BrightStar," BrightStar introduced himself with respect, Grim did the same to BrightStar.
"sorry for my rudeness BrightStar... since you are Alexis' colt friend that means i have to be your butler as well as Alexis',"
BrightStar looked at Grim with confusion,
"Im sorry Grim but i will look after myself... thanks anyways," Grim felt a bit offended by BrightStar but he shook this thought out of his mind.
Alexis and Grim went back to her home, Alexis then explained something heartbreaking. "Grim... i... i have to tell you something," Alexis said this with a sad look on her face. Grim looked a little worried about the red mare.
"What is it Alexis?" Grim questioned the red mare in a dull tone thinking she would say something funny and happy.
"I have had a miscarriage... i was only 18 when it happened my little baby colt Trusty is... gone,"
Alexis cried violently like she did when she was a filly back when Grim first found her. After seeing Alexis cry Grim gathered some white candles and arranged them on the floor in a star shape, he light them and sat down, Alexis sat down next to him.
"Say your unborn colt's name and the rift will open for you to see his spirit,"
Grim said this in a very serious tone. Alexis sighed in sadness.
"Trusty Gunner Shooter," Suddenly Grim's eyes went a pale white and the spirit of a little colt appeared, it was Trusty he made his way to Alexis. the mare picked the little colt's spirit up and cuddled him saying that she loved him.
after about 5 minutes Grim closed the rift and Trusty's spirit went back to heaven. Grim passed out from the event for like 30 seconds when he woke up Alexis hugged him tightly.
"THANK YOU GRIM... THANK YOU SO MUCH I AM THE HAPPIEST MARE ALIVE RIGHT NOW!" Grim smiled. a lot more years passed by where Alexis was laying on her bed at the age of 79 Grim still looking young sat with her. later that day Grim found Alexis dead by naturally causes, she died of old age. her spirit went to heaven, she saw her unborn son there.
Grim lived alone again but he felt Alexis' presence with him at all times. Grim felt Alexis in his heart still that small little red filly who grew up to be a great mare, he only knew this from her saying.
"Grim remember me when i am up there with my family, my little brother, my mother, my father and my little baby colt. thank you for everything and i understand that this might be upsetting but it is true i wish you could come with me and see me but i know that can't happen since demons are not allowed in heaven. so please Grim remember all our little talks and adventures and remember... don't cry,"
as soon as Alexis finished talking Grim hugged her and cried Alexis hugged him back. Grim's heart broke apart from seeing one of his close friends, and his family member die. Grim still stays in that same house, haunted by memories of Alexis' death but knowing that he is being watched by her from above.
one afternoon in ponyville, it was pouring down with rain sadness was in the air a cry of a filly could be heard through-out the town. a little red filly all by herself crying her little eyes out, over something personal a loose of some pony special, a tall white hooded deamon reaper followed the cries to the find the little red filly near the playground, he saw her heart flowing out of her eyes in sadness. he galloped to little filly, the little red filly looked up to the white demon reaper, he bowed down to her. "whats wrong little one?" Grim said softly to the little filly. "my little brother he has." the little filly stopped and cried more violently, Grim hugged her and comforted her.
"tell me ok little one," Grim said again with a soft voice. "my brother has committed suicide," the little filly cries more in Grim's hoofs.
"that is bad to hear little one what is your name?"
Grim said once more in a soft voice.
"my name is Alexis Charmaine Pleasant-Blade... whats yours?"
Alexis said with a teary voice. "my name is Grim you look a mess... here come with me let me get you cleaned up," Grim stood up and carried Alexis to his house, and put Alexis down on a couch. Grim sang the little filly a song.
"Quiet down sweet child of heaven's above, the angels watch over your cot they do rock, and as a demon i can't look after thy but i will protect thee, until death do us part silence during the night of a sweet filly or colt's sleep and let princess Luna be you escape into dreams of paradise and kindness,"
Suddenly Alexis fell asleep from the singing, and dreamed of happiness, and being loved by her parents.
"Little Alexis... i will get your little brother back even if it means my demise,"
Grim said softly trying hard not to wake the red filly from her slumber.
