Chapters Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
Adagio Dazzle hated people. They always presumed the wrong thing about her. Particularly in her romantic life. She didn't have time for such things, they were too boring, but people always presumed she was some kind of slut. After over a thousand years of living, she had only been around two people constantly. And, unfortunately for her, it was her bumbling companions.
"Check." Aria Blaze said to her fellow siren, Sonata Dusk.
Sonata pondered Aria's move, and then simply moved her king out of the way. Ever since their ordeal at Canterlot High, the three girls had been stuck in a dark, drafty apartment with no powers, and almost no money. What little money they had gotten before was by singing in bars, and other venues, using their powers of manipulation to get extra money. Unfortunately, with their pendants destroyed, the former sirens could no longer sing. In fact, whenever they tried to sing, they sounded terrible. They could no longer harmonize, and their voices were terrible. Their normal talking voices remained the same, but whenever they attempted to sing, their voices got high and screechy. The worst part? Practice wouldn't help. The pendants gave them the ability to sing, and without it, they simply couldn't.
Adagio sat a few feet away from the girls who were playing chess in the living room coffee table, which was odd for them, as Aria was so gloomy she wouldn't play anything, and Sonata was so mind-numbingly dimwitted, she couldn't understand what checkers was. Adagio was on the desktop computer they had acquired in a raffle.
Adagio wasn't a fashionista, or anything, but she did care about her looks. And, with little money, the girls had to be careful what luxuries they used. And, as far as luxuries went, water, extra food, light, television, and even extra clothing were luxuries. Thus, the girls only showered whenever they had to go out, and they had to take really short showers, much to Adagio's displeasure. She loved taking showers. The cool water against her body, the condensation it created on the mirrors, it always gave her a fresh feeling once she finished.
But, with shower's being a luxury, she looked like a nervous wreck, as did her companions. Her long curly hair was in a tangled mess, going in every direction, she couldn't wear make-up, and with little clothes, wore only a robe and her pajamas. Usually just the robe. But, no matter how bad I look, they must look worse. She tried to reassure herself, but it seldom worked. As for light, the only light they got was from the computer, and from candles, as the apartment had no windows.
"Check." Sonata said, placing her queen a few spaces away from Aria's king.
Aria smirked, and moved a knight into the same square as Sonata's queen, taking it out. "No it isn't."
Adagio chuckled at that. Aria rarely made jokes, so it at least deserved a mild chuckle when she did. She was scrolling though Canterlot High's website, seeing if there was anything new.
Sonata moved her rook into the space occupied by Aria's knight. "Check."
Aria moved her queen in the space of Sonata's rook. "Mate." She said confidently.
Sonata examined the board, with a look of confusion on her face. Then she frowned, and reached her hand under the board, and brought her arm up very quickly, scattering the chess pieces across the dimly lit room. "I hate this game." She said, folding her arms over her chest.
"You only hate it because you suck at it." Adagio replied, who was still sitting at the computer.
Sonata let out a loud "Hmp!" and turned her head to the side, away from her companions.
"Are you going to pick up the few dozen chess pieces you sent flying across the room?" Aria asked.
"Nope!" Sonata responded, her voice rather squeaky.
"Figured as much." Aria said, and got down on her knees, beginning to pick up the chess pieces.
Adagio kept scrolling through the computer. "Hm...I wonder..." She clicked on the link she discovered, and began scrolling through that too. "Oh... oh-ho ho... this is good." She said, catching her companions interest.
"What is it?" Aria asked, setting the chess pieces into the box.
"You know what our pendants do if they are destroyed, right?" Adagio asked.
"Yeah..." Aria said.
"So?" Sonata asked.
"That means we can get them back." Adagio said.
"Uh, Adagio, I think your forgetting the fact that if we set foot on the premises of that school, we'll be attacked by a mob of angry students." Aria said.
"Yes, but, what about the seven who defeated us?" Adagio asked them.
"Uh...they had nice hair?" Sonata asked.
Adagio frowned. "That was rhetorical." She said. "But, consider what Sunset Shimmer did, and the damage she caused. The other six helped her, and reformed her. I think they'd be willing to do the same with us."
"Adagio, if you're thinking about being reformed, you're out of your mind." Aria said.
"Of course we wouldn't actually be reformed, but, we could pretend to be reformed." Adagio said. "Plus, the one who's claims she a princess, wont be there, and there is another factor."
"What factor?" Aria asked.
"This man," Adagio replied, pulling up an image of a man in a pinstripe suit, "is our other factor. He calls himself the Doctor, and just the Doctor, no name. But, I've done a little research on him, and he's pretty interesting. He's a master at negotiation., and he will help us, if he's as old as these documents say."
"How old is he?" Aria asked.
"I'll left you read the document for yourself." Adagio said. "But, this is a chance for us to get our pendants back, as well as our ability to sing. What do you think? If we're going to do this, we all need to agree on it."
"If we're getting our pendants back, I'm in." Aria said.
"I'll do it." Sonata said cheerfully.
"Great now I'm gonna get a shower." Adagio said, getting up from the computer. "I probably smell like a dead horse, and believe me, those don't smell good." And Adagio grabbed her clothes, for her shower. A nice, long, hot shower.
When Aria entered the bathroom for her shower, she reached into her pocket, and pulled out her cell phone. "Glimmer, this is Blaze. Glimmer, come in."
"Reading you loud and clear, Blaze, what's your status?"
"I need you to halt Operation Retrieve, Glimmer, something's come up. Something that might just work in our favor."

More Unexpected Guests...
The six friends and the Doctor were in line in Sugar Cube Corner, waiting to get their order. After Sunset got her order, the Doctor walked up, and said, "Fish Fingers and Custard, please."
Mrs. Cake cocked her head to the side. "Huh?"
"Fish Fingers and Custard." The Doctor reiterated. "You know, like what you'd call fish sticks, and custard, it's kinda like a pudding?" Mrs. Cake's confused look remained on her face. "Still no? All right fine, I'll take a chocolate fudge sundae."
Mrs. Cake smiled, and then said. "Coming right up, your number is eleven."
The Doctor turned around heading to the corner where the rest of his friends mumbling, "Well, that's ironic." He sat down, next to Sunset, who was sitting on the arm of a couch.
"So how old are you now?" Sunset asked, who took a sip of her smoothie.
"Oh, twelve hundred and something, unless I'm lying, I can't remember if I'm lying about my age of not, that's how old I am." The Doctor said.
"The last time we saw you, you were nine hundred and five." Rainbow Dash said.
"Yes, well, I travelled with a married couple for a while, and now I primarily travel with a girl named Clara. She recently tried to get a teaching job, I'm not sure if she got it or not."
Applejack rubbed her chin. "Wait, if yer travlin' with someone else, why are yer here?"
"I needed to clear my mind, just had an incident with the Cybermen, thought I'd take a pit stop here." The Doctor explained.
"Eleven!" Mrs. Cake shouted at the counter.
"Half a moment." The Doctor said, getting up.
"You really think he's the Doctor?" Rainbow Dash whispered in Sunset's ear.
"I'm inclined to." Sunset replied. "The Doctor can do amazing things, for all we know, this is one of them."
The Doctor sat back down, holding a sundae in his left hand, and a spoon with the other. "So, enough about me, what about you?"
"We haven't really done anything worth mentioning, but, I do have a question about you though." Sunset said.
The Doctor sighed. "Shoot."
"Last time I saw you, you were standing near the statue, just standing there." Sunset explained. "You didn't wave, say anything, or show that you saw me at all, you just stood there. Why?"
The Doctor looked down at his boots. "Last time I was dying, I went and saw everyone I ever travelled with, I only talked to one of them, and then I changed. I checked up on everyone, no matter who they were, where they were from, or where they were now, but I saw everyone of them. Even Twilight, but still, everyone."
"Wow. How long did that take?" Sunset asked.
"Now that I think about it, a very long time." The Doctor replied, putting a spoonful of sundae in his mouth. "But, what have you been doing?"
"I already told you, not much..."
"That doesn't look like him." Aria said, peering through the glass at sugar cube corner.
"I was able to hack into some websites about him. They say he can change his form, they didn't mention how." Adagio replied, irritated. Aria always looked for a reason to criticize her.
"So when do go in and meet this Doctor?" Aria asked.
"Once he walks out." Adagio said.
The Doctor placed the empty glass on the table and said. "Still not as good as Fish Fingers and Custard."
Sunset whispered something in Rarity's ear, who quickly stood up, and glanced at the other girls. "I'm going to use the lavatory. Does anyone else need to go?"
Everyone, except Sunset shook their heads. "A-hem!" Rarity said, eyeing the rest of them.
The girls glanced at each other, and then at Sunset who kind of had a 'go away' look on her face.
"Oh!" The four said, simultaneously, and stood up, and walked away, leaving Sunset and the Doctor sitting at the table.
Sunset looked at the Doctor's wrist, and noticed he was wearing a gold wrist watch. "Is that the watch I gave you? For Christmas?"
"Hm?" The Doctor asked, and then said, "Oh, right! Yes it is. My other incarnation wasn't too fond of it, though."
Sunset raised an eyebrow. "He wasn't?"
"No; I love it though!" The Doctor exclaimed, "I did make a slight modification, though. No matter where I land in time and space, the watch will automatically set itself to the correct time, according to it's environment."
"Wow, that's amazing." Sunset said.
"Yes, I thought so," the Doctor said, "So, I assume Twilight had given you something?"
Sunset's face sank. "Yes, she did." Sunset tugged at her new leather jacket, "She gave me this."
"Oh, nice suits you." The Doctor said. He didn't want to dwell on Twilight's fate. "What happened to that sonic pen I gave you?"
"Uh..." Sunset grumbled. "I kinda...lost it..."
The Doctor's mouth went agape. "How did you lose a sonic pen?"
"I started wearing a dress, it makes pocket space scarce." Sunset explained, gesturing toward her light blue dress, "I put it in one of my jacket pockets and I lost it."
"Great, so who knows who has it, or where it is." The Doctor groaned.
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure it's fine." Sunset said, reassuringly.
That didn't make the Doctor feel any better. "Well then..." the Doctor glanced at his milkshake. "Oh, look at that, it's gone!" The Doctor stood up quickly, and clapped his hands together. "So! The TARDIS has had a massive overhaul since you last saw it! Want to take a look?"
"Do I?"

"He's coming." Adagio said, "Get ready."
"And, I faced against this weird minotaur that caused everybody's worst nightmare."
"Really?" Sunset asked, "What was yours?"
"Oh, it was um..." the Doctor stopped, and stared in front of him.
"What is it?" Sunset asked, and looked at what that Doctor was looking at. "Oh no..."
"Why, hello Sunset Shimmer, long time no see." Adagio Dazzle said, and mischievous grin on her face. She was standing right next to Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk, her fellow sirens.
"Adagio Dazzle." Sunset Shimmer said, "So, the evil leader of the sirens displays her ugly face once again."
"Ugly?" Adagio scoffed, "Oh please, I'll have you know I'm quite pretty."
"Yeah, pretty annoying." Sunset said.
"The Dazzlings?" Rainbow Dash spoke up, exiting the diner with the rest of her friends. "I thought we got rid of you!"
"Come now, Dashie." Adagio said, "You could never get rid of me."
"Hold on," the Doctor said, speaking up, "Doctor not following, Doctor very lost. Who are they?"
"The Dazzlings." Sunset explained, coldness in her voice, "They're a group of sirens that tried to steal the magic of friendship within us and then use it to hypnotize the world into adoring them."
"Really, sirens?!" the Doctor said, excited, and got closer to Adagio, "Wow! I've never seen a species that can hypnotize people by singing! Tell me, is there some kind of special gland that allows you to do it, or is it actually magic?"
"Oh, it's magic alright." Sonata said, speaking up, "We have the ability to make people do exactly what we want."
"Or rather, had the ability." Aria said, bluntly.
"Had?" the Doctor asked.
"The gems that allowed us to sing were destroyed." Adagio clarified, then eyed the Doctor. "I don't believe we've been properly introduced." She cocked her hips to one side, and put her hands on them. "My name is Adagio Dazzle, leader of the Dazzlings. That's Aria and Sonata."
"Hi!" Sonata cheered, waving fiercely. Aria merely groaned.
"I'm the Doctor, Time-Lord from Gallifrey, savor or worlds, and I've been flouting the rules of my species for years, and why am I telling you this?"
Adagio chuckled and smirked, "It's nothing new. People tend to, shall we say, pour out their hearts around me."
"Uh-huh, good to know." The Doctor said, taking a step back.
Behind him, Sunset cleared her throat. "Doctor, can we have a word?"
The Doctor turned to Adagio. "Hold that thought." He waltzed back over to Sunset and the others.
"Doctor," Sunset began, "If the Dazzlings are here, trouble is just around the corner. Even without their pendants, they're still dangerous. You can't trust them. If they're here, they're here to cause trouble."
"Trouble?!" Adagio asked, offended, "Why, we wouldn't dream of it! After all, you beat us last time, you'd probably just beat us this time. Even though you don't have Little Miss Friendship Princess with you, you do have the bowtie-clad Time Boy over there."
"Time Boy?" The Doctor asked, confused.
"So if you're not here to cause trouble," Sunset began, "Which I find hard to believe, why are you here?"
"We want to be reformed." Adagio said, flatly.
"Hold on." Pinkie said, and ran into the bakery, and emerged with a glass of water, which be promptly drank, and then spewed out onto the sidewalk. "You want to be what ?!"
"Reformed." Adagio repeated.
"I'm sorry, you want to be reformed?" Sunset asked, "You. Specifically. You. Leader of the sirens, who turned an entire school into adoring her, by swaying her hips and singing, before turning into a weird crazy fish monster?"
"Says the girl who bullied an entire school into submission and then turned into a raging she demon." Adagio said, tearing open a wound, causing Sunset to step back. "The only difference between our defeats is that your rainbow friendship laser of doom magically turned you good, mine just destroyed my source of power."
"Okay, wound open!" The Doctor interrupted, stepping in between the two girls, "Adagio, first step to being reformed: Be nice to people."
"What, like you?" Adagio scoffed.
"Yes, exactly."
"Oh, this is stupid!" Aria groaned, "Why are we here?"
"We want to be reformed, silly!" Sonata said, gleefully, slapping Aria on the back.
"In that case, why not get to know each other?" The Doctor suggested, placing one hand on Adagio's shoulder and the other on Sunset's, "What do teenagers normally do to get to know each other? Frat parties? Play football? Tea parties?"
"I think you just described every generation, except the one we're in." Adagio said.
"Well, what do you normally do?" The Doctor said, before smiling, "I know! A sleepover! You've done it before, I know you have! So why not do it again? All nine of you!"
Sunset and Adagio stared at each other. Adagio smiled and shrugged. "Alright," Sunset said, "But on one condition." She turned to the Doctor. "You're going to be there too."
"Hm? What? No!" The Doctor practically screamed, "No! Not me! I-I couldn't! No! I absolutely won't do it!"
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
The Doctor sat on a small stool in the corner of Pinkie Pie's room, while the other girls did their own thing. He felt out of place. Not only was he the only guy there, he wasn't really doing anything, because there was nothing for him to do. Pinkie Pie was on her computer, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Sonata were playing a video game on the TV, Rarity and Fluttershy were each painting their nails, Sunset was sitting on the bed, writing in her journal, but, Adagio and Aria were each sitting in a separate corner, clearly doing something else. Each of the girls had switch into pajamas. Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Adagio each wore a similar nightie, except Adagio's was a bit more loose, and a bit more...revealing. Applejack, Fluttershy, and Sonata each wore a full body set of pajamas, and Aria, Rainbow Dash, and Sunset wore a simple pajama shirt and pants.
The Doctor had his sonic screwdriver in his right pocket, as his frock coat was hung up near the doorway, and his waistcoat was just flung across the room. His leg was bouncing up and down, as he was itching to do something. "Okay!" The Doctor finally shouted, clapping his hands together. "That's it, I need something to do! This is too boring!"
"We could always play a game." Sunset said, placing her pen into her journal and closing it.
"Like what?" Adagio asked, turning her head to face Sunset.
"I know!" Rainbow shouted. "We can play Nev-"
"NO!!!" Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Sunset all shouted simultaneously.
The Doctor looked from each of the girls to Rainbow Dash, and back. "Did I miss something?"
"Any game she comes up leads to disaster. It always does." Applejack said.
"Um...okay." The Doctor said. "Hang on, I know something we can play!"
"It'll probably be lame." Rainbow said, leaning against the bed.
"Oi!" The Doctor said. "It's really simple. You go around in a circle and reveal something personal about yourself. It's sort of a get to know you game, and I thought since we have guests, we should play a get to know you game."
"Exactly how personal?" Rainbow asked, raising an eyebrow.
The Doctor scowled, and eyed her furiously. "Nothing inappropriate!" He shouted.
"Okay, sounds good to me." Sunset said. She looked at the former sirens. "What do you girls think?"
"Sounds like fun!" Sonata said, gleefully.
"Alright, fine." Adagio said, shrugging, and sliding of her stool.
"I have nothing better to do." Aria said, walking over.
Each of them slid into the floor, the Doctor sitting next to Sunset and Fluttershy. "So," The Doctor began. "Who'll go first?"
"I will!" Rainbow Dash shouted, raising her hand into the air. "So, something personal. Okay, I've never been involved with a-"
"I SAID APPROPRIATE!!!" The Doctor shouted.
"Fine." Rainbow said. "So, the first time I thought I should go into sports was when I beat my brother in a soccer match."
"Oh, I see." The Doctor said. "Okay, Fluttershy your turn."
"Um...I bought angel from a pet store a few years ago. I found out that he was abused by his original owners, so I adopted him. Maybe that's why I baby him so much."
"Interesting." The Doctor said. "I guess it's my go now. Um... the first time I came to Earth, I was 124 years old. I was still just a kid."
"At a hundred and twenty four years old?" Sunset asked.
"Of course," Adagio said. "Once you reach a certain age, you start to see what other races call aged, as your youth."
"Exactly." The Doctor said. "How old are you anyway?"
Adagio, flicked her finger in a 'not so fast' motion. "Sorry Time-Boy, it's not my turn."
The Doctor frowned, and turn to Sunset. "You know Sunset, maybe you could answer a question for me?"
"Depends on the question." She replied.
"What did you do for money when you first got to this world?" The Doctor asked. "I mean, you couldn't have gone unemployed and be able to afford anything."
"I was a guitarist." She said, shifting uncomfortably. "I was a solo act. I taught myself, and played in random venues, it got me enough money."
"But, I thought that solo acts don't get paid well?" The Doctor asked.
Sunset chuckled, "You'd be amazed." She turned her head to Rarity. "So Rarity, how about you-"
Rarity was sound asleep. Looking around the room, only the Doctor, Sunset, Fluttershy, and Adagio were still awake. "Maybe we should get some rest." The Doctor said.
"That might be a good idea." Sunset replied.
The Doctor couldn't sleep. After all, being in the middle of a small room with nine girls would be most men's dream. But, not the Doctor's. He got out of his sleeping bag, and walked into the kitchen, avoiding stepping on any of the girls.
He walked into the kitchen, and pulled his suspenders up. He then retied his bowtie, and leaned against the island. He looked up, rubbing his land through his hair. He strolled over to the refrigerator, opening it and widening his eyes by the sheer amount of whip cream contained within. "Oh, Pinkie, what have you been up to?"
"You know, for a man who's supposed to be clearing his mind, you picked a hell of a place to go." The Doctor looked to his right, and saw Adagio Dazzle standing in the doorway, leaning against the wall.
"Oh, so you were eavesdropping on our conversation in the diner?" The Doctor asked, grabbing a can of whip cream, and checking the expiration date.
"Well, of course." Adagio replied. "Get to know your enemies before talking with them."
"So we're your enemies then?" The Doctor asked, placing the whip cream back into the fridge.
"At the moment." Adagio said, smirking. "At least until we get to know each other more." The Doctor chuckled. "Is something funny?"
"Oh, sorry." The Doctor said. "It's just, you must think I'm quite stupid, don't you?"
"No," Adagio said. "as a matter of fact, I think you're pretty clever."
"Really?" The Doctor asked. "What about you, do you think you're clever?"
"I like to think so, but, I've been told I have a bloated ego." Adagio said.
"Well, then what do you intend to do with my sonic screwdriver?" The Doctor asked.
"Oh, it that what this is called?" Adagio asked, pulling the sonic screwdriver out of her back pocket. "I wasn't going to do anything with it, I just wanted to see if you'd notice I took it." She tossed the screwdriver at him.
The Doctor caught it, and placed it in his right pocket. "So, when did you take this anyway?"
Adagio smirked. "When you were sleeping."
"But, I never fell asleep."
"Not that you know of."
"I see." The Doctor walked over to the island again and leaned against it. "So, what is your plan?"
"My plan?" Adagio said, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, your plan." The Doctor explained. "No one just asks to be reformed. There's actual reformation, which is typically very subtle, as the person being reformed doesn't notice until later. There's also magical reformation, which is possible, especially in the in the case of Princess Luna, and Sunset Shimmer. But, no one, ever asks to be reformed, unless they're already in the process of being reformed. And, you, Adagio Dazzle, are far from that. The way you act, and carry yourself, you're not seeking reformation, you're lying, seeking another goal. So, tell me, what is your plan?"
"The website's were right, you are clever." Adagio said, walking to the island.
"What websites?" The Doctor asked.
"Oh you would not believe how many conspiracy theory websites there are concerning you." Adagio said, now leaning on the island.
"Remind me to have the TARDIS conduct a Wi-Fi sweep, wait!" The Doctor said, slapping himself in the forehead. "Wait, we're getting off the subject! What is your plan?"
Adagio rolled her eyes. "All right, I'll tell you, but only you. And, not right now, I don't want anyone listening."
"We're the only one's awake." The Doctor said.
"Fluttershy as trying to fix the zipper on her sleeping bag, Rainbow Dash is playing Super Smash Bros. on her 3DS, and Aria is texting someone on her phone."
"All right then, when?"
"Tomorrow."
"When?"
"Dinner."
"I can't pay."
"I will."
"You haven't got any money either, I hacked into your bank accounts."
"I have a bit of money stashed away for a rainy day."
"Fine, where?"
"I don't care, you choose."
"I'll right, I'll let you know tomorrow."
"Deal."
"Deal."
"See you tomorrow, Time-Boy." Adagio swaggered back off into the bedroom.
The Doctor put his face in his hands, shaking his head. "Oh, what have I gotten myself into this time?"

The next morning, after the had all showered and gotten dressed, the ten of them took a stroll to Canterlot High. once they reached the building, the Doctor turned to Sunset and said, "Sunset will you please join me in the TARDIS." And, he strolled off to the blue box sitting a few yards away.
"We'll be going too." Adagio said. She turned to the Doctor. "See you later, Time-Boy."
The Doctor just kept walking, as Sunset ran after him. As they entered the TARDIS, Sunset had to stop for a moment. "You've redecorated."
"Yes, I have, I told you at Sugarcube Corner, remember?" The Doctor said, pulling off his frock coat. "You don't like it do you?"
"No, actually I do." Sunset said, walking toward the console. "It looks more futuristic, and cleaner."
"Thank you," the Doctor said, pressing a few switches on the console.
"So, what are we doing?" Sunset asked, leaning on the console.
"I am going to find an outfit for dinner." The Doctor explained. "And, you are going to talk to me. I need someone to talk to."
It was about mid-afternoon in the hotel the Dazzlings were staying at, and Adagio was getting ready in the bathroom, while having a conversation with her fellow sirens. "Why did you agree to have dinner with the Doctor?" Aria asked.
"Because, I can get information out of him." Adagio replied, her voice slightly muffled by the door.
"And, how exactly do you plan to do that?" Aria asked.
"He's still a man." Adagio said. "He can be seduced."
"So, you're going to seduce an alien to get information?" Aria said.
"Exactly."
"Sorry Adagio, but, I think you're plan has a few flaws." Aria said, frowning, glancing over to Sonata, who was too busy trying to get the DVD player to work, to listen to Adagio's and Aria's conversation.
"Oh really?" Adagio asked, irritated. "What's wrong with my plan?"
"You're trying to get information by seducing an alien who change his form willy-nilly." Aria growled. "Are you kidding? There is no way that will work."
"Fine, then, what's your plan?" Adagio asked.
"We try an take over his machine, and see if we can complete what we tried to do in the first place!" Aria shouted.
"No!" Adagio shouted. "Aria, you are completely insane! Neither of have any idea of what the Doctor's capable of, which is why I'm trying to figure out information! So, whether you like it or not, you will stick to my plan! Is that clear, Aria!?"
Aria scowled severely. "Transparently."
"Good." She opened the door, and gave a small twirl to show off what she was wearing. "How do I look?" She asked, seductively.
"For my plan, terrible." Aria said. "But, for your plan, perfect."
"Glimmer, this is Blaze, teleport the cloaking device." Aria Blaze said, her phone up to her ear, while in the bathroom, looking at the counter. In front of her, there was a blue light, followed by a small handheld device appearing on the counter. It was black, about the size of an IPod nano, with a clip on the back, and a small circular button on it
"Blaze, confirm teleport." Aria heard through the phone.
"Glimmer, teleport confirmed. Package acquired." Aria replied.
"Can you confirm that the device operates?"
Aria clipped it to her belt, and pressed the button. As she looked up into the mirror, there was only the reflection of the wall behind her.
"Glimmer, device operates." Aria said, as she pressed the button again, and her reflection reappeared in the mirror.
"Aria, could you hurry up in there?!" Sonata shouted from outside the door. "I really gotta pee!"
"Glimmer, I'm signing off, I'll contact you when the mission is complete." Aria said.
"Acknowledged, Blaze. Glimmer, out."
Aria hung up the phone, and then smiled, as she knew exactly what would happen next.
Sunset was leaning on the console, having the conversation with the Doctor while he got dressed below the main floor. "So, why are you having a dinner date with the lead siren?" She asked, flipping through A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.
"It's not a date! And, she's the lead siren," The Doctor explained. "Meaning she knows the most. Thus, I should be able to find out their plan."
"Plan?" Sunset asked.
"Yeah." The Doctor said. "No one just asks to be reformed."
"I did." Sunset said, rather bluntly.
"It was different in your case." The Doctor said.
"How so?"
"You were reformed via magic, which completely changed your personality for the better. In the sirens' case, they weren't reformed by magic. They just had their pendants destroyed. Besides, the way they act, isn't someone looking for reformation, it's someone with an subtle motive."
"You have a point." Sunset said. "But, what do you think that motive is?"
"Something magic related, that's all I know." The Doctor said. Then, he ran up the stairs, now wearing black trousers, a white dress shirt, a white waistcoat, a black velvet coat, which went down to his knees, a white bow-tie, and a black top hat. He was also holding a black cane, with a silver sphere on the top. "How do I look?"
"Formal." Sunset said. "Very formal."
"Here you might need this." The Doctor said, tossing his sonic screwdriver to her.
"But, then what will you use?" Sunset asked, catching the screwdriver.
"I have this." The Doctor said, holding up his cane. He flicked the sphere open, revealing a small green sonic tip. "Sonic cane." He said. "I can use this instead of my screwdriver." He closed the cane, and walked toward the console, just carrying the cane, rather than using it as an actual cane.
"So, where are you taking Adagio for dinner?" Sunset asked.
"Somewhere in the past." The Doctor said, and he was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Speak of the devil." He said, and walked toward the door, opening it, and immediately freezing in place.
Adagio was wearing a dark red low-cut dress, revealing a bit of her chest. The dress had a strap over each shoulder, and it extended down to her feet. She was also carrying a black purse over her right shoulder. "Hello Sweetie." She said, smirking.
The Doctor recoiled a bit at that line, going so far as covering his eyes, and then uncovering them, to make sure he wasn't looking at someone else, but then immediately recovered. "Well, what are you waiting for, come in." Adagio walked in, and had to stop a minute to comprehend the interior of the TARDIS. "Yes, it's bigger on the inside, don't worry about it, worry about dinner."
Adagio shook off the shock, and followed the Doctor to the console. She eyed Sunset, and said. "Is she going to be joining us for dinner?"
The Doctor looked at her. "What?" He looked back at the console. "No, she's just going to be guarding the TARDIS. We, are going to be going to dinner in 1912."
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
A Dinner Date, That Isn't a Date
"Why the past?" Adagio asked, leaning against the TARDIS console, causing the Doctor forcing himself not to look down. "I lived through that time, I don't need to see it again."
"Well, I do!" The Doctor snapped. "And, if you don't like it, please, leave. The door is to your left."
"Okay, bye." Adagio said, and swaggered off to the door, overly exaggerating the sway of her hips as she walked.
"Oi!" The Doctor shouted. "I was kidding!" He then mumbled, "Blimey," under his breath.
"I know you were." Adagio said, smirking, walking back toward the console.
The Doctor frowned a bit, and then pulled a lever on the console, and the TARDIS sound began to ring inside the room. "What are those things?" Sunset asked pointing up.
The Doctor looked up. "Oh, I call those timey-whimey gears."
"Okay..." Sunset said, and walked around the console once, before it landed.
"Ah, we're here." The Doctor said, and turned to Sunset. "Guard the TARDIS, and if something goes wrong signal me."
"Got it." Sunset replied, and opened A Tale of Two Cities again. "You two have fun."
"Quite right." The Doctor said, and turned to Adagio. "Hungry?" He asked, interlocking his left arm with her right.
"More than you know, Time-Boy." Adagio replied, as the two of them excited the TARDIS.
The Doctor and Adagio settled in a restaurant called Pays Alimentaire which translated in English as Country Food. Inside, the Doctor and Adagio sat down in a booth, and then each were given a menu, and each ordered. "I'll take the chicken-fried steak, with mashed potatoes, and white gravy."
"Very good choice, sir." The waiter said, who had a southern accent, combined with a French accent. "And, you ma'am?"
Adagio, without taking her eyes off the Doctor said. "I'll take the same."
"Very well ma'am." The waiter grabbed the menus, and said, "You meal will be with you shortly." And the waiter walked off.
The décor in the restaurant was very...intriguing. It had white walls, and chandeliers, making it stick to the French side of the restaurant. But, there was also country décor, that you would typically see in a rustic bar.
"So, why did you bring us to this place?" Adagio asked, folding her hands.
"We're still in Canterlot, just a hundred years in the past." The Doctor explained. "I picked a random restaurant, and this was it. It's four stars, so I hoped it be good."
"I see." Adagio said, and eyed the Doctor cane. He had it sitting next to him, out of her reach. Even if she wanted to get it, she couldn't, but, she did wonder why the Doctor wanted it our of her reach.
"So," the Doctor began, "what is your plan?"
"No, not yet." Adagio said. "I want to talk about you first."
"Or, we can always talk about both of us." The Doctor suggested.
"All right then."
"Okay, how old are you?" The Doctor asked.
"Older than you." Adagio said.
"Try me." The Doctor dared.
"I'm eleven hundred years old." Adagio said.
"I'm twelve hundred." The Doctor said, grinning.
"Ah, so you're older." Adagio said.
"It would seem that way." The Doctor said.
They sat in silence for a little bit, until the Doctor asked. "Why did you invite me to dinner?"
Adagio smirked. "For your sake."
"What do you mean?" The Doctor asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" Adagio said. "You're clearly attracted to me, not that I blame you."
"I beg your pardon?" The Doctor asked, leaning forward.
"Oh, Doctor," Adagio cooed, "You're good at hiding some emotions, but, others, you just reveal completely."
"Oh." The Doctor said. "Is that why you wore a low-cut dress? To seduce me?"
"Oh, Time-Boy," Adagio leaned forward, "You don't need seducing."
The Doctor smiled. He didn't know why, he just did. "Well, then." He leaned back. "I'm speechless. And, congratulations on that, by the way, not many people can do that."
Adagio back too. "I guess I'm special."
"Oh, you're special all right." The Doctor mumbled under his breath.
"I heard that." Adagio said, smirking. "Do you still want to know my plan?"
"Yes." The Doctor said.
"Okay." She relaxed in her chair. "I've been lying to my fellow sirens, what they think my plan is, isn't really my plan. Sonata is just plain dumb, and doesn't understand anything besides the basics. Thus, I don't even bother telling her anything. Aria, however is smart. She does understand, and often tries to defy my leadership. She could lead us, but, she isn't cunning. She wouldn't dive into something, she'd take the safe road. Thus, I lead. Although, I feel like she's been hiding something lately."
"I was asking about your plan, not your friends." The Doctor said.
"They're not my friends." Adagio grumbled.
"Then why do you-"
"I tolerate them." Adagio said. "But, I don't enjoy their company. I am with them, though we don't get along. I simply stay with them, because I can't do my bidding alone. Besides, we are the last sirens left, we stick together, no matter the cost. However, if one of us defies that rule, we all fall apart."
"I see." The Doctor said. "So, what is you plan?"
Adagio decided to give in. "Are you aware, of what happened the last time we were at Canterlot High?"
"Yes."
"Well, our pendants, are very interesting." Adagio explained. "They, have a...reproduction system. If they are destroyed, they will find a patch of land and fall into the planet."
"You're acting like they're sentient." The Doctor said.
"Not sentient, exactly, but, they have a system that allows them to reproduce. Once they're in the ground, they plant themselves, and begin to create new pendants."
"So, that's why you're here." The Doctor said, understanding. "To regain your power of manipulation."
"I already have the ability to manipulate people, but, the pendant does make it easier, and, they will allow me to sing again."
"I knew there was an ulterior motive." The Doctor said.
"So, now you know." Adagio said. "And, now you're going to stop me."
The Doctor leaned his head to the side. "Maybe, maybe not."
"What do you mean,' maybe?'" Adagio asked.
"You told me your plan." The Doctor said.
"And?" Adagio asked.
"Trust," the Doctor explained, "is the first step to redemption."
Adagio face twisted with confusion. "What does that mean?"
"It means, Adagio Dazzle," The Doctor said, leaning forward, "that you are being reformed, but, you don't even know it."
Adagio looked down, wondering if it could be true. She hoped it wasn't, yet, part of her...hoped that it was true.
But, before she could respond, there was a small repetitive clicking to the Doctor's left, coming from his cane. He looked over to it, and grabbed it. He flicked it open, and then examined the green crystal inside the sphere. "It's like your screwdriver..." Adagio said.
"Yes, it is." The Doctor said. He held down the button, and said, "Sunset, are you there?"
"Yes, I am." Sunset's voice replied. It sounded like she was panting. "Wait the sonic works as a phone?"
"Yes, it does," the Doctor said, "what's wrong?"
"I think there's someone else in the TARDIS." Sunset said.
"What?" The Doctor asked.
"I said, I think there's-" Sunset let out a loud grunt, and then there was a loud thump , and the signal faded out.
"I've lost her signal." The Doctor said, looking straight at Adagio. "Come on!" He said, closing the top of the cane, and stood up and ran.
Upon leaving, Adagio left an amount on money on the top of the front table, were the secretary was sitting. "Sorry." She said, and ran off after the Doctor.
The two ran into the TARDIS, and the Doctor found Sunset fallen, unconscious, a few feet away from the console, A Tale of Two Cites sitting on the console, and the sonic screwdriver sitting a few feet away from her. The Doctor scanned her with the sonic cane, and checked the check his readings. "She's been hit in the head, but no permanent damage. But, who hit her? And, how did they get into the TARDIS?"
The Doctor looked up, and a pistol appeared in his face. He looked up, and saw Aria Blaze standing there. The Doctor stood up, and then backed up a little bit, next to Adagio.
"Aria," Adagio began, "what are you doing?"
"What I should have done a long time ago." Aria said. She turned toward the Doctor, pointing the gun at him. "You, take us back to the present."
"How did you get in the TARDIS?" The Doctor asked, not moving.
"I don't think you're in the position to ask questions." Aria replied.
"Are you afraid to answer?" The Doctor asked.
Aria smiled. "Fair point. I used this." She pointed to a small black box clipped to her belt.
"What is that?" Adagio asked.
"Personal cloaking device." The Doctor explained. "It's makes whoever has it invisible to someone. It's sort of an advanced perception filter."
"Very good, Doctor." Aria said. "Now, take us back to the present."
The Doctor walked over the console, still holding the cane. He flipped a few switches, and pulled the large lever, as the TARDIS sound began, and the timey-whimey gears began to spin around.
"Ugh...what happened?" Sunset asked, sitting upward, rubbing her head.
"Something bad." The Doctor said, helping Sunset to her feet. She looked up, saw Aria, and took a few steps backwards.
The TARDIS landed, and Aria, gesturing to Sunset, said, "You, stay here." She turned to the Doctor and Adagio. "You two, change clothes. You look like you're going to a wedding. A very bad wedding."
The Doctor walked forward to grab his screwdriver, but Aria picked it up. "And the cane too." The Doctor reluctantly gave her the cane, and walked down the TARDIS stairs with Adagio, to change their clothes.
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
"Stay right where you are," Aria said, as she dialed a number on her phone. "Move, and you die." She set the phone to speaker mode. "Glimmer, do you read me?"
"Loud and clear, Blaze." A woman's voice replied over the phone. "Is the machine captured?"
"Affirmative." Aria replied.
While Aria had a conversation with the woman known only as Glimmer, the Doctor, Adagio, and Sunset were trying to make sense of what had just transpired. The Doctor was back in his normal clothes, but wore a low-cut lavender waistcoat, and an orange bow-tie with a grey diamond pattern. Adagio had switched into a pair of jeans and a grey hoodie, which were somehow perfectly fit for her. The Doctor had explained that the TARDIS scans whoever comes in, and prepares a set of clothes for them, but, she wondered otherwise.
"But, why did Aria do this?" Sunset asked, who was sitting on one of the stairs, above the Doctor and Aria.
"Adagio, you told me Aria and you often butted heads when it came to who should lead?" The Doctor asked.
"I didn't put it that way, but, basically." Adagio confirmed.
"Then, maybe this is a desperate way for head to prove she can lead." The Doctor suggested.
"No way." Adagio said, shaking her head. "Aria isn't like that. More likely is she's trying to get rid of us."
"But, what about Sonata?" Sunset asked. "Is it possible that she's helping Aria?"
"Not likely." Adagio said. "Aria and Sonata hate each other. If Aria has Sonata in on her plan, Sonata would have babbled it out by now."
"True." Sunset said. "First time I met you, Sonata basically told me about your powers."
"I remember, I was there." Adagio said, flatly.
"But," Sunset said. "who's Glimmer?"
"I don't know." Adagio admitted. "However, we might be able to narrow the selection of people down."
"How so?" Sunset asked.
"Think about it," the Doctor began, "Blaze, is Aria's last name. We can assume that Glimmer is a last name as well, so, that narrows it down."
"But, no one I know has the last name of Glimmer." Sunset said.
"Nor do I." Adagio said.
"Don't worry, you'll meet Glimmer soon enough." Aria said, looking right at them.
"Really?" The Doctor said. "Okay, what's her first name?" He walked up the stairs, toward Aria.
"You really want to know, don't you?" Aria asked, pointing her gun at him.
"I did just ask, didn't I?" The Doctor said.
"Starlight."
The Doctor chuckled. "So, it's Starlight Glimmer?" Then, he began to laugh even harder, and pointing at Sunset said, "It's like a cross between yours and Twilight's name! Get it?! Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, and now Starlight Glimmer?! Are Equestrians just really cliché when it comes to names?" The Doctor regained his composure, and looked straight at Aria. "Now then, I'll take your gun."
Aria chuckled. "I'm sorry?" She laughed a little bit. "You really think I'm just going to give you my only weapon against you?"
"You really think you're prepared to just shoot me?" The Doctor said. "Oh, come now, Aria, you are clever, but, you're not prepared to just kill someone." The Doctor approached her. "You're not prepared to take charge, you can plan it, and you can begin to put it into action, but, you'll never takes the steps to complete it." He reached his hand out. "Now, come on, give me the gun."
Aria tensed up, and then turned her gun to the side, and shot the TARDIS wall.
"YOU SHOT MY TARDIS!!!" The Doctor shouted.
"I'm...warning you..." Aria panted.
"Worse, you shot one of the round things!" The Doctor shouted.
"What are the round things?" Sunset asked.
"I...I don't know!!!" The Doctor shouted, and turned back to Aria. "Now, give me that gun before you before you hurt someone." The Doctor reached out, and thrust the gun out of her hands. He ran down the stairs, and placed it in the storage compartment with below the console.
"Now," the Doctor began, leaning on the TARDIS console. "who is Starlight Glimmer?"
Aria stood there for a bit, and then ran out the TARDIS door. "Oh, you got to be kidding me..." The Doctor mumbled, and then turned to Adagio and Sunset, cocking his head in a 'follow me' motion. The girls shrugged, and followed the Doctor to the door.
As soon as he opened the door, the Doctor was pulled out, along with Adagio and Sunset, by a girl with lavender skin, purple hair, with turquoise highlights tied back in a ponytail, a black button down shirt, and a dark purple jacket. She immediately put them in handcuffs, and shoved them to the floor.
"Let me guess, Starlight Glimmer?" The Doctor asked.
"You guessed right." Starlight replied.
The Doctor examined their surroundings. They appeared to be in a large hanger bay. Aria was standing just a few meters away from them.
"Where are we?" Sunset asked.
"You're currently in orbit, on a space station based off an old military base." Aria explained.
"We're...in space?" Adagio said.
The Doctor rolled his eyes. "Why is it that everybody is nervous when their in space?"
"I don't know." Sunset said.
"Oh, who cares?" Starlight said. "Come on," She helped them up. "You're going to the brig."
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
It's a Brig, not a Hotel...
"Ow!" The Doctor exclaimed, as he was thrown into the brig by Aria. He slammed into the cramped wall, between Adagio and Sunset.
"You alright?" Sunset asked, helping the Doctor up.
"Yeah," the Doctor replied. "Thanks."
Aria walked over to the console a few meters away, pressing a few buttons, as a blue force field appeared in the cell, which turned transparent. "That's a neutron energy based force-field," Aria explained. "so, you can't escape. Nothing can penetrate that force-field, so don't even try escaping."
"Right," the Doctor said. "so could we have some pillows? Maybe a plate of jammie dodgers, some blankets perhaps? Honestly, the accommodations here are pathetic."
"It's a brig," Aria said, walking out, "not a hotel." The door closed behind her automatically.
"Well," the Doctor began, "at least I can now call the TARDIS to rescue us, as the key works as a remote control signal."
"Uh," Adagio said, who was leaning up against the cell wall, "I hate to break this to you Time-Boy, but Aria searched each of us, you don't have a key."
"Oh." The Doctor said. "Well, I'm sure my sonic screwdriver will work too."
"Aria has you're screwdriver too." Sunset said.
"And you're cane." Adagio added.
"All right, fine I get it!" The Doctor said, and sat on the bunk.
"Hang on," Sunset said, eyeing a small panel on the wall, "what's this?"
"It's an ID scanner," the Doctor explained, "it's for security measures. Basically, if a superior officer gets trapped in this cell and they have their ID, they can simply scan their ID and the force field lowers."
"But, why does this place look like a military base?" Adagio asked.
"Retro style spaceships were popular in the fifty-first century," the Doctor said, "I have a feeling this was used by the Time Agency, which would explain how it ended up here in the twenty-first century."
"But, that doesn't explain how Aria and Starlight Glimmer took control of it." Adagio pointed out.
"No, it doesn't." The Doctor agreed.
"Are you saying you don't know?" Sunset asked, "How can you not know? You always know!"
"Why is it everyone expects me to have all the answers?!" The Doctor shouted.
"Because you usually do!" Sunset yelled.
"Oh, both of you, shut up!" Adagio shouted.
The Doctor and Sunset immediately turned their heads to face Adagio. "Arguing only makes the situation worse! Trust me, after a thousand years of spend time with two people you despise, you learn that arguing is only going to make you hate each other, and that any plan you may have will fall to pieces."
The Doctor and Sunset glanced at each other, and back at Adagio. "You're right," the Doctor said, standing up.
"Yeah." Sunset agreed.
"We need a plan." The Doctor said, "a good plan."
"But, what?" Sunset asked.
"Oh, um let's see." The Doctor rubbed his chin. "So far, all we have is a scanner that can scan IDs, but we don't have an ID, but if we could find a way to trick it, we could escape."
"How do we trick it?" Adagio asked.
"I'm going to need a rubber chicken, a daisy, some paper and a pen." The Doctor explained.
"Well, we don't have those." Adagio said, bluntly. "Any other plan?"
"What about your psychic paper?" Sunset suggested.
"Psychic paper?" The Doctor repeated.
"Yeah," Sunset confirmed, "I didn't see Aria take that from you."
The Doctor thought for a moment. "OH OF COURSE!!!" He shouted loudly, causing both Adagio and Sunset to shush him. "Sorry." He said. "I'm slow, I am slow, I'm notorious for it. The psychic paper, of course. Brilliant Sunset." He reached into the back pocket of his trousers, and grabbed a leather wallet. "The cons of having a woman search a man, they don't want to reach into your back pocket."
"I would've." Adagio mumbled under her breath.
"What was that?" The Doctor asked walking toward the scanner.
"Nothing." Adagio said.
"Right then," he said, placing the psychic paper under the scanner, causing the force field to deactivate. "We need a plan." And, he stepped out of the cell.
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
"Okay," the Doctor began, as he, Sunset and Adagio walked down the corridor. "I have no screwdriver, and no TARDIS, all I have is my psychic paper, which should be enough."
"Enough for what?" Sunset asked.
"An escape." The Doctor said. "Let's see, they have control over the ship making it so they can track us, but, as they're not familiar with these systems, they'll have some difficulty with tracking us. They probably don't even now that we escaped, but they can track us with our DNA. I will be easy to track, as I have Time-Lord DNA, so in order for us to be similar, I need to give both of you some Time-Lord DNA, and it can't just be by touch."
"And how do we do that?" Adagio asked.
"I don't know, I'll think of something." The Doctor said, "But, we need to split up, give them a more difficult chance of finding us. But, as we only have one psychic paper, we need to find some actual IDs, which shouldn't be that hard, Time Agents just left them sitting anywhere. And, if we're lucky, we can find a vortex manipulator, and simply teleport to the bridge."
"But, how do we defeat them?" Sunset asked.
"They seem to have different ideals, but, at the moment, they seem to get along, as they're working toward a common goal." The Doctor planned, "However, if we make them disagree, then, they'll start to hate each other, and then we can split them apart, and possibly take control."
"Divide, and conquer." Adagio said.
"Divide, and conquer." The Doctor confirmed. "All right, here we are." The Doctor stopped at a door, and used the psychic paper to open the door. The room was dark, making it difficult to see, but the Doctor walked in, and grabbed three IDs sitting on the table.
As he walked out, he looked over each of them. "Captain James Harrison, Captain Jennifer Hobbs, and Captain Julie Howard."
"I'm noticing a theme." Adagio said. "I'll take Julie." She grabbed the ID from the Doctor's hand.
"Well, I'm taking Hobbs then," Sunset said, being passed the ID.
"Then I have Harrison." The Doctor said, looking at the ID closely.
"But, we still need the Time-Lord ID in us." Sunset pointed out.
"Yes, um..." The Doctor rubbed his chin. "There is a way, but..." He turned to Sunset. "I want to tell you this means absolutely nothing, okay, absolutely nothing." The Doctor leaned in, and kissed Sunset on the mouth. He then broke off, and did the same to Adagio. He broke off, and ran off shouting, "Well, go look around then!"
"Well," Sunset said, slightly dazed, "that was unexpected."
"But, not unwelcome." Adagio said, also dazed.
The Doctor turned down the hallway. "Kiss them?" he was saying to himself. "Why did I have to kiss them? I could've figured out something else, after all, it's a simple genetic transfer, not a snogging palace." He opened a door, using the ID he found, and examined the room. It looked like a conference room, and the lights were on, and a wall monitor, which was accessible.
"Ah, here we go!" He began to press several keys on a keyboard by the monitor. "Let's see, map of the ship." He pulled up a map, and searched it. "Vortex Manipulators." He entered that into the search parameters, and was surprised when it said, UNDER THE TABLE . He kneeled down, and saw a spare vortex manipulator sitting in a small case. "Oh." The Doctor grabbed it, and put it on his left wrist. "Okay, let's see if you work." He entered coordinates, and then, clicked the new button, causing him to disappear.
Adagio was fortunate enough to have found a flashlight sitting in one of the rooms she visited, making the dark areas of the ship visible. But, she was still slightly shocked that the Doctor had kissed her, which was odd in itself. They weren't even the same species. He was a Time-Lord with two hearts, and the ability to travel in time and space. She was a siren, who looked like a human, and was a huge problem in the eyes of virtually everyone. So, why was she shocked?
Although, she wasn't able to ponder it any longer, as there was a flash of light right next to her. She turned quickly to her left, shining her flashlight on the person standing next to her.
"Lower that!" The Doctor said, blocking the light out of his eyes.
Adagio obliged, and lowered the flashlight. "How did you do that?"
"Vortex Manipulator, cheap and nasty time travel, but it also works as a teleport." The Doctor explained, raising his left wrist.
"A teleport?" Adagio said. "Why don't you just teleport out of here?"
"Because, even if we did, what would be the point?" The Doctor asked.
"Uh, escape?" Adagio said, putting up her hands in a 'duh' gesture.
"No, you're missing the point." The Doctor said. "We still have to beat them. Even if we escape, they can find us. Not to mention, they have my TARDIS."
"Why don't you teleport into the TARDIS?" Adagio asked.
"It has extrapolator shielding. There is no way I can teleport into it, even if I wanted to."
"So what do we do?"
"Well, first, I need something." The Doctor pressed a few buttons on the vortex manipulator, and then disappeared in a flash of light. A few seconds later, he reappeared with a bright red fez on his head.
Adagio rolled her eyes. "Seriously?"
"What?" He placed the fez on his head.
"A fez? Really?"
"Yeah, it's cool, fezzes are cool."
"Fine then, what's the plan?"
"Well," the Doctor began, as he turned down the hallway, "we know that Starlight and Aria are having difficulty finding us, due to the genetic transfer I gave you, and Sunset earlier."
"Oh," Adagio said, "is that what it was?"
"Yes, wait, what are you implying!?" The Doctor shouted.
"I don't know, you gave Sunset a bit of warning, and you gave me no warning at all, showing you wanted to be spontaneous."
"Oi!" The Doctor shouted. "That's not what it was! I had to insert some of my DNA into you and Sunset so they'd have difficulty into finding us. That was the most painless way it's was possible."
"Right." Adagio said. "Painless. I think you did it because you wanted to."
"I had to!" The Doctor shouted. "Would you want to be enclosed within a force field, and then killed by a gas or something?!"
"All right, fine!" Adagio yelled, raising her arms. "I get it, enough."
"Good." The Doctor said, and proceeded down the corridor, being followed by Adagio.
A minute later Adagio said. "You tongued."
"Oh, that's it!" He grabbed her arm, and pressed a few buttons on the vortex manipulator, causing them to disappear.
They reappeared right next to Sunset, who was in a conference room looking for a flashlight. "WAH!" Sunset shrieked.
"Hi." The Doctor said, letting go of Adagio's arm. "You alright?"
"Fine," she replied. "but, what was the kiss for?"
"Genetic transfer." He replied. "I placed a slight bit of my DNA inside you, so the stations scanners are confused which one of us is which."
"Ah, okay." Sunset replied. "I suppose that's makes sense."
"Right. Good. Well, at least someone here understand." He eyed Adagio, who was standing behind him.
"But," Sunset began, "what are you wearing?"
"It's a fez." The Doctor replied. "And, it's cool."
"I was just wondering." Sunset said. "I remember some people wearing those in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade . They were protecting the Cup of Christ, if I remember correctly."
"Anyway," the Doctor interrupted, "we need make Aria and Starlight disagree, so they'll be venerable."
"I suppose you have a plan?" Sunset asked.
"Yes," the Doctor tapped the side of his nose, "I have a plan."
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
"So, what do we do with the Doctor?" Aria asked, folding her arms over her chest.
"We can't kill him." Starlight replied, rubbing her chin. The two girls were standing on the stations bridge, over looking the Earth below.
Aria narrowed her eyes. "Why not?"
Starlight frowned. "I do a lot of things, killing isn't one of them."
"Why?" Aria asked.
"I believe everyone should be equal," Starlight explained, "I don't want to kill anyone."
"What if they try to get in your way?"
"Then, they must be...disposed of." Starlight confirmed, "But, only as a last resort."
"Alright, but how do you intend to turn everyone on this planet equal?" Aria asked.
"The signal dish on this station is powerful enough to submerge any special talent to anyone on the planet, making them equal." Starlight said, leaning on a console. "I've already modified the dish emitter to send a suppressant wave, limiting, of not completely eliminating their talents. Everyone will be equal."
"Except us." Aria said, walking over to Starlight.
"Except us." Starlight confirmed. "After all, we're the only ones who can control this station, if we're equal, we can't control the station."
"Very true." Aria's appearance was similar to that of Starlight's but she didn't act much alike. Starlight knew this more than Aria. And Starlight didn't care much for Aria, and knew exactly what was going to happen.
"Sorry, am I interrupting anything?" A voice said, causing the two girls to jump back in shock. The Doctor was standing there, folding his hands.
Aria withdrew the blaster from the holster on her belt, and pointed it at the Doctor. "How did you escape?"
"Oh, please," the Doctor said, sitting down in a nearby chair, "you're threats aren't going to work, you know that don't you? Besides, I have a feeling you're a terrible shot."
"Oh, really?" Aria asked, and raised the blaster slightly, and pulled the trigger.
The fez flew off the Doctor's head, into a nearby corner. "HEY!!!" The Doctor shouted, as he quickly stood up, running to the fez. About an eighth of it had been burned off, the edges singed. "Why is it every time I get one of these it's blown up?" He asked quietly.
He stood up, and slowly walked toward the purple haired girls. "So you have the master plan to make everyone on the planet equal, but I have a feeling you don't necessarily agree on that plan."
Starlight chuckled briefly. "What gives you that thought?"
"The creepy talk, or the fact that you're in a space station with a radar dish threatening to change every human on Earth, take your pick." The Doctor replied. "Besides, Aria here doesn't likely share your ideals."
"What do you mean by that?" Starlight asked.
"Oh, the simple message we tried to convey to Canterlot High the last time we were there." A deep feminine voice shouted, as Adagio Dazzle stepped out the shadows. "What was it again? Something like 'we don't have to be one in the same thing?'"
Starlight turned to face Aria. "What?"
"Be quiet, Adagio!" Aria shouted, pointing her blaster at Adagio now, moving it away from the Doctor. She turned back to Starlight. "I've changed, I'm not the same person I was!"
"You haven't changed at all!" A new voice shouted. Aria turned her head, looking at the newly arrived Sunset Shimmer. "You think you've changed ?! I know a l lot about change, Aria, and you, have not changed!"
"Don't listen to them!" Aria shouted.
"When someone typically tells you not to listen, it normally means their telling the truth." The Doctor interrupted.
"You know me, you trust me, so believe me know!" Aria said.
"QUIET!!!
"Come on!" The Doctor shouted, gathering Adagio and Sunset. He dialed a number on the phone he was holding. "Applejack, is the TARDIS ready?"
"Yep!" Applejack said back, who was inside the TARDIS with Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Sonata Dusk.
"Good, pull the big lever on the right side of the console!" The Doctor ordered.
"Gotcha!" A moment later, the TARDIS dematerialized on the bridge, and the entourage of girls swarmed out of it, carrying fire extinguishers.
"What are those for?" The Doctor asked.
"The bridge is on fire!" Rainbow Dash replied, igniting the extinguisher, along with the other girls.
Meanwhile, Aria and Starlight were still fighting. The Doctor rushed over to them, shouting, "Stop!" but, they proceed to pummel each other. The Doctor grabbed the fire extinguisher from Fluttershy, and sprayed them both with the white foam.
"What was that for!?" Starlight shouted.
"You wouldn't stop." The Doctor explained. "Had I let you continue, you would've killed each other."
"That was the point." Starlight said, her fist clenched.
Aria stood over to the side, in a much worse condition the Starlight. Her nose was bloody, possibly broken, her right eye was black, and she was clutching her leg, as it seemed to be severely injured.
"Adagio, Sonata, help Aria into the TARDIS." The Doctor said, and the two girls obliged, wrapping Aria's arms around their shoulders.
"Well, that's my cue!" Starlight said, happily and reached behind a console, pulling out a vortex manipulator and strapping it to her wrist.
"What are you doing?" The Doctor asked, almost panicky.
"I'm leaving, you stuttering fool!" Starlight told him. "This was the plan no matter what."
Aria perked up slightly. "W-What?" She asked, her voice fading.
"Oh please, you think I actually liked you?" Starlight chuckled, "You're more deluded than I thought! I never cared about you! I just used you to help myself, and capture the Doctor, which might I say you did I remarkable job at. You didn't matter! As soon as I activated the beam, I would've teleported you and everyone else on this station to the planet, and watch you become talentless and equal, LIKE YOU SHOULD BE!!!
"But you !" Starlight turned to the Doctor, shoving her finger in his face, "You stopped me! You prevented me from turning the Earth into a sanctuary, you prevented me from helping everyone on the planet!" She stepped back and reached up to her vortex manipulator. "Don't think this is the last you've seen of me. I will be back."
She pressed the button. "NO!!!" The Doctor shouted angrily, pulling out his sonic screwdriver, and attempting to disable Starlight's teleport, but got to it too late, as she vanished in a flash of light, and crackle of electricity. Then the station rocked and shook.
"What was that?" Sunset asked.
"Oh, I think I activated the station self-destruct." The Doctor said. "It will explode in eighty seconds. Into the TARDIS everyone!" Everyone obliged, and rushed into the box. Once inside, the Doctor began flipping switches on the console.
"Doctor, we're missing someone!" Sunset shouted. The Doctor looked around the TARDIS. He took a head count. Nine. There should be ten.
"We're missing Pinkie Pie!" Rarity shouted.
The Doctor rushed out the door, into a plume of smoke and fire. The entire bridge was on fire, smoke everywhere, making it almost impossible to see. The Doctor heard the faintest cry for help. He rushed over to the cry.
A few meters away from him, Pinkie Pie's left leg was crushed under a metal pillar. She wasn't strong enough to move it. "Help!" She shouted, loudly. "I need an adult! I NEED AN ADULT!!!"
The Doctor emerged from the smoke, standing boldly. "I am an adult." He said calmly. He lifted the pillar off her leg, shrieking as he did so. Pinkie Pie withdrew her leg from the pillar, and the Doctor dropped it on the floor, with a loud clang!
"Come on!" He helped Pinkie Pie up, who then fell back over with a scream.
"I think my leg is broken!" She shouted, her eyes filled with tears, whether is was because she was sad, in pain, or the sting of her eyes against the smoke.
"I will not let anyone die! Not today! Everyone will live! Just this once, EVERYBODY LIVES!!!" The Doctor flipped Pinkie's left arm over his right shoulder, and half-carried her over to the TARDIS, kicking the door open. He passed Pinkie over to Sunset, and pulled the lever on the right side of the console, flying the TARDIS away from the station, five seconds before it was enveloped in flames.
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
The TARDIS dematerialized in front of the statue at Canterlot High, with nine girls staring at it. The Doctor exited, followed by Sunset, holding her journal with the same symbol that was on her shirt. "Well, this will make an interesting read for Twilight."
"Heh, it probably will." The Doctor chuckled, and turned to the sirens. "So, what do we have to do with you lot?"
The Dazzlings shared glances. Adagio was still in the hoodie she had gotten from the TARDIS, while Sonata was busy looking on her phone for a Taco Bell. Aria, however, was in pretty bad shape. Her leg was in a cast, and she had crutches as well. There was a bandage around her forehead, and she was covered in several bumps and bruises.
Adagio hung her head, and said quietly, "Maybe, it's time we split up."
The other sirens gasped. "What are you saying?" Aria asked.
"We've been together for how long?" Adagio said, turning to her companions. "Since birth, over a thousand years ago. What have we done since then? We got banished, and then had to live in this world for a thousand years. Then, we came up with a plan to get our magic back. And, what happened? Our pendants were destroyed, and then, we had to live in a dreary apartment, with little to no money."
Sunset walked over to the Doctor, who was leaning against the TARDIS. "Is going where I think she's going?" The Doctor smiled.
Adagio sighed. "And, the thing is..." She looked up. "It's my fault."
The other sirens looked confused. "Wait," Sonata said, "what? I missed something, didn't I?"
"You see, I loved the power we were getting, but, I tolerated you," Adagio confessed, "both of you. But, I knew I needed you to keep gaining the power, and maybe, it's because I worried about you. I knew I probably should have let you go on your own path when we were in Equestria, but, instead I made you continue on with me. And, I dragged you down with me. And, look what it drew you to." She turned to Aria. "You tried to kill us. And, for that, I don't blame you."
Aria and Sonata still looked confused. "I guess what I'm trying to say is... I'm sorry." Her eyes became teary. Sonata jumped, and shrouded Adagio in a big hug.
"That was so sweet." She stuttered, squeezing Adagio even more.
"Okay...Sonata that's enough!" Adagio squeaked, as Sonata let go.
"But, I've been with you two my entire life! What am I supposed to do?" Sonata asked, wiping her eyes clean of tears.
Adagio placed her hands on Sonata's shoulders. "That's my point, Sonata. You've spent you're entire life with us. It's time you went out on your own. You're a free spirit, and, you're not evil, like Aria and I. You need to have a life of your own. After a thousand years, don't you agree?"
Adagio smiled, so did Sonata. "You're right, Dagi. And, by the way, you're not evil. Someone evil couldn't say something like that."
Adagio's smiled grew broader, and hugged Sonata.
"Wow," Sunset whispered, "I don't believe it."
"I do." The Doctor said.
"Really?"
"She didn't know it, but, she was being reformed," the Doctor informed, "every moment, every second, and every single moment over the past day or two, she was slowly becoming better. Your friendship, your kindness, helped her. And, look." He pointed to Adagio, who was getting teary-eyed, while still hugging Sonata. "Can you imagine her like that a few days ago?"
Sunset blinked. "No, I can't." She stared at the Doctor, who was grinning tremendously.
"And, that," he said, pointing at Sunset, "is true magic."
Adagio let go of Sonata, smiling broadly. She then stepped over to Aria. Aria had a shamed look on her face. Adagio frowned. "You crossed the line, Aria."
"I know." Aria replied, her head hanging down.
"Hey," Adagio said, walking toward Aria, "I'm not mad at you. I just have one question. Why? Why did you do this?"
Aria looked up. "I was always second best. If not third. I was ignored. No one noticed me, no one cared what happened to me. Adagio, you were always noticed. Everyone loved you. They adored you. And, Sonata, they loved you as well. Your silliness and goofiness made them want to get to know you. I wasn't even looked at. I wanted revenge.
"I found Starlight at a local diner. We talked for a while, and discovered how much we had in common. She already had access to the station, and we hatched a plan. One that would let me get my pendant back, and then, we'd use the station to submerge everyone's special abilities, and we'd win." She looked at Adagio. "But, when you created the plan to have us get our pendants back, we had to change the plan. We considered every factor, every detail, except one." She looked at the Doctor. "We never considered someone like you would come and start to change things. But, I'm glad you did."
The Doctor smiled, and then said, "Oh, and speaking of pendants, follow me!" He ran off to the side of the school, the nine girls following him. Aria and Pinkie had the most difficulty, as they were both on crutches.
The Doctor stopped, and pointed to a small plant, just starting to sprout. There were three small red jewels growing out of it. "Is that...?" Adagio asked.
"It is." The Doctor said, nodding. "Your pendants, regrowing."
"I don't believe it." Sonata said.
"You're going to destroy them, aren't you?" Aria asked.
The Doctor looked up. "No." he said.
"But," Adagio began, "if we get them back, what's to stop us from using their power to create chaos and mayhem?"
"Your will!" The Doctor said. "You are a better person now, Adagio, and you have the will to control yourself!"
"No, I don't!" Adagio shouted back. "If I get that pendant back, I will sing again, and will become addicted to the power I gain from it! That's what that is! It's not a privilege, it's a drug! A very addicting drug! And, I've just gotten off that addiction, but, if I start it back up, I will only cause more damage!"
"That's why I have a solution!" The Doctor said, pulling out his sonic screwdriver, and pointed it at the plant, activating it. "Scanning the internal chemical structure of the gems, and reversing the polarity of the feedback loop!"
The sound of the screwdriver turned to a higher pitch, and the color of the medallions slowly turned to a cerulean blue. "What did you just do?" Adagio asked.
"I changed their function." He replied, placing the screwdriver back in his pocket. "When they're fully grown, they will give you the ability to sing again, but , they will not cause anger. They will cause good feelings, happy feelings, that people would normally get when listening to someone sing. My old friend Rose was like that. She was a brilliant singer."
"You're getting off the subject." Adagio said, smiling.
"Oh, right." The Doctor said, and continued his explanation. "Because they create good feelings, you will feed on those. The cheerfulness your music provides will help you're cheerfulness as well."
"But, they're not fully grown yet." Aria observed. "When will we get them back?"
"When they are fully grown." The Doctor replied. "If you plan to split up, well then, do each of you have a phone?" The three girls nodded. "Good, right, well then, one of you can stay here, and when they are fully grown, you call contact one another, and let each other know."
"The question is," Sunset said, "which one of you will stay here?"
The Dazzlings looked at one another. Adagio spoke up. "I will." She said. "I caused the most damage, so, I should have to deal with it."
"That's very selfless of you, Adagio." The Doctor said. "Do you realize how much you've changed?"
"I don't know." Adagio said, "but, I do know, I still have a long way to go."
The Doctor smiled, and turned to Sonata and Aria. "What about you two? What will you do, and where will you go?"
"I'm thinking Mexico!" Sonata exclaimed. "Get a job, find a home, eat lots of tacos!"
The Doctor laughed, and turned to Aria. "And, you, Aria?"
"Maybe Canada." She said. "I hear there's nice people up there."
"Good." The Doctor said. "Well, look at how you've grown! How you've changed! How these past few days have effected you! They've been good, haven't they? I mean, besides the devastating betrayal, and trying to kill one another, and trying to submerge the entire planets populations special talents, it's been great hasn't it?"
"Yeah." Adagio said, looking at her fellow sirens, and how they'd finally made peace.
Then Pinkie Pie perked up, "But, before you go, we need a slumber party! A proper one this time!"
"We'll go to my place!" Rainbow Dash shouted, raising her hand.
Adagio looked at them all. "Thank you. All of you." She turned to the Doctor. "And, Time-Boy, you'd better be at this slumber party!"
The Doctor smiled. "Bet on it."
Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
The following morning, the ten people stood in Rainbow Dash's yard, saying their good-byes. "I'll help you both." The Doctor said, to Aria, and Sonata. "I'll help you get a home, and some money. You'll be able to make a life for yourselves."
"Thank you." Both Aria and Sonata said.
"I'm happy to help." He grinned. "Now, get into the TARDIS. Off you pop."
The two girls hugged Adagio, Aria with some difficulty, before entering the blue box. The Doctor turned to the six other friends, excluding Adagio. He said good-bye to them, and when he got to Sunset, she asked, "When will I see you again?"
"Soon." The Doctor replied. "I have a feeling I'll make a return trip. See how things are going. Especially with that lot." He gestured toward the Dazzlings.
"You'd better." Sunset said. "But, what if something happens? Like an alien crash lands around Canterlot? We might need you."
"Um..." the Doctor thought for a moment, "do you have a piece of paper and a pen?"
"Yeah, here." She handed the materials to the Doctor, who quickly scribbled something down, before handing them back to Sunset.
"That's my phone number," the Doctor said, pointing at the paper. "If you ever need me, call that number."
"Thanks, Doctor." Sunset said, smiling, and shoved the piece of paper in her pocket.
"You're very welcome, Sunset." The Doctor said. "Until next time, then?"
"Until next time, Doctor." She hugged him, and then proceeded back into Rainbow Dash's house, along with the rest of the friends, leaving the Doctor and Adagio alone in the yard.
"So, Adagio what are you going to do?" The Doctor asked.
"Oh, make friends, or try at least, try to fit in.” Adagio replied.
“So, um, there’s something I think you should know.” The Doctor stuttered.
Adagio smirked, having a feeling she knew where this was going. “And, what might that be?”
“I am…uh…ma – married.” The Doctor said.
Adagio smile vanished in an instant, replaced with a frown. “What?”
“I’m married.” The Doctor said. “Granted, she died, but, I am married.”
“Oh, you’re a widower?” Adagio asked, her smirk returning.
“Well, yes, but…”
“So, you’re single now?”
“Yes, but…”
“And, you have no children?”
“Well, not really…”
“Good.” She said, smirking virtuously. She leaned in, and kissed the Doctor.
His arms flailed about, along with his legs. She withdrew, smiling severely. “Right…okay.” The Doctor said. He quickly turned around, “Bye.”
She smirked, as he entered the TARDIS. “See you later, Time-Boy.”
The Doctor finished dropping of Aria and Sonata, and then sent the TARDIS back into the Time Vortex. “Well, it did clear my mind of Clara. Now, I need to clear my mind of Adagio.” He flipped several switches on the console. “Well then, onto Wednesday!” He pulled the lever on the right side of the console, going to visit Clara. “Now, let’s hope nothing bad happens.”
Twilight rubbed her eyes, taking in her surroundings. The brick ground was cold to the touch, and she could barely see without her glasses. She glanced around, trying to make sense of everything, when she suddenly felt an arm on her shoulder.
Twilight was forced up, and pushed into what appeared to be an alleyway, at least with her blurred vision. "Is she human?" A voice asked.
"It appears so, ma'am." Another woman replied.
"I suggest we melt her with acid." A man's voice replied.
"Strax, shut up." the first woman said, and approached Twilight, "Can you hear me? Are you alright?"
Twilight stuttered, and said, "Wh-where am I?"
"You're in London, England, on Earth." the woman replied, "My name is Vastra, are you alright?"
"London?" Twilight asked, cradling in the alley, "But, I was just I Canterlot, with the Doctor."
"The Doctor?" the second woman asked.
"It's possible, Jenny," Vastra said, and turned back to Twilight. "When was this?"
"What?"
"When were you in Canterlot?"
"Twenty-fifteen, why?" Twilight asked, "When am I now?"
Vastra gulped, "Eighteen-ninety three."
Twilight's eyes opened wide, "Eighteen-ninety three?"

Doctor Whooves: A Dazzling Encounter
"Thank you for having me, it was very interesting." Artie said, shaking the Doctor's hand.
"A pleasure, thank you for coming." The Doctor replied. He turned to Angie. "Now, I've got something for you." He began to run around the TARDIS console, Angie following him. "It's not from me, it's from the TARDIS." He stopped at turned around to face her. "Ah, new phone." The Doctor placed a new touch-screen phone with a white case around it in her hands.
"Thanks." Angie said, admiring her new phone.
"Your welcome." The Doctor replied and shook her hand.
"Sorry I said this box was stupid." She smiled and join Artie at the TARDIS exit.
"Bye!" The Doctor said, gleefully.
Artie and Angie waved behind them as they walked through the TARDIS door. "Thanks Clara!" Artie said. "Thanks Clara's boyfriend!" And the two children excited the TARDIS.
Clara walked up beside the Doctor and sighed. "Thank you, Doctor." She said.
"For what?" The Doctor asked.
"Kids day out," Clara replied, "getting us of the planet alive, whatever you were doing with the Cybermen." She turned to face the Doctor, who was nodding. "Good night." She said, and walked toward the TARDIS exit. "See you next Wednesday!"
"Well, a-a Wednesday, definitely!" He corrected her, even though she was exiting the TARDIS, looking behind her, smiling. "Next Wednesday, last Wednesday. One of the Wednesdays." He paused for a moment, and then spoke to himself. "The impossible girl. A mystery, wrapped inside an enigma, squeezed into a skirt that's just a bit too...tight." He smiled a little bit, and then recoiled in what he just said. "What are you?" He reached behind him and pulled two levers on the console.
"That's it, I need to go somewhere familiar, somewhere with people I haven't seen recently, someplace to clear my mind." He walked over to the display monitor on the right side of the console, pulling it toward him. "Let's see," the Doctor mumbled to himself, looking at various locations in time and space. "London blitz, Totter's Lane, New New York, and... Canterlot High." He cocked his head to the side a little bit. "Canterlot High? Haven't been there in a while...I have friends there..." The Doctor pondered this for a moment. "Oh, what the hell?!" He shouted, and pressed several switches in the console.
"I fold." Rarity said, laying her cards down on the concrete. The six girls were playing a type of poker that didn't involve gambling money, but, rather different kinds of gases. Anything from a small oxygen molecule, to a nebula in deep space was allowed to be bet. Thus far, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Sunset Shimmer were winning. Rainbow looked like she was about to bust a gut, Pinkie Pie looked like a super villain, plotting her next plan, while Sunset's face show little, to no emotion. The perfect poker face.
"I bet ten nebulas." Rainbow Dash said.
"I'll take your ten, and raise you twenty." Sunset replied.
"I call." Pinkie Pie said.
Rainbow Dash put her cards down, face up. One pair if sixes, one pair of sevens. Pinkie Pie lay down her cards. Three sevens. Sunset smiled and set down her cards. "A royal flush." She said.
"I hate you." Rainbow Dash said.
"I know." Sunset replied, smiling. The six girls were sitting under the statue in front of Canterlot High, like they did almost every day. Most of the girls had quit poker, as Sunset seemed to always win. Thus, instead, each of the other girls folded quickly, and did their own thing. Sunset jumped off the statue. "So, how many have I won in a row?" She asked.
"Twenty-four." Rainbow replied, a tone of irritancy in her voice.
"I need to find a new player to play with." Sunset replied.
"Yeah, I'm getting tired of losing." Rainbow said, picking up her soccer ball.
Then, there was a noise in the girls ears. A groaning, wheezing, screeching sound. "No..." Sunset mumbled. But, sure enough, a blue box faded into view a few miles away.
"Wow, his timing is really good." Rainbow said.
The girls ran over to the TARDIS, waiting for the doors to open. The Doctor ran out, grinning like a madman, looking at each of them. "Sunset!" He shouted and hugged her. "Rainbow, and Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack! Blimey, all six of you!"
"Uh..."
"What year is it? Did I get it right? Please tell me I got it right for once."
"Um..." Sunset began, curling her lips, "Who are you?"
"Oh, I got it wrong again." The Doctor said, smacking his forehead, stepping a few yards away. "Why do I always get things wrong?! All right see you in a few years, once you've realized who I am." He waltzed back to the TARDIS.
"Wait!" Sunset shouted, causing the Doctor to turn around. "Are you...him? Are you the Doctor?"
"Ah!" The Doctor yelled, his smile returning. "You do remember me! Though, not with this face, of course. You remember me with my last face, the weird spikey hair, and the ugly brown suit. Trust me, this version of me is better, no vanity issues this time!"
"Wait, how can ya be the same guy?" Applejack asked. "You look completely different."
"And, act completely different!" The Doctor exclaimed. "I'm a Time-Lord, when I die, I can regenerate, change my whole look, appearance, and personality. And might I say, this one is amazing!"
"I don't get it." Rarity said.
"Don't worry, most people don't. But, enough about me, what's going on with you?" The Doctor asked.
"Pretty much nothing." Sunset said. "Wait, has anyone noticed this school is really dreary, until a visitor from another world comes here?"
The other five girls thought about what Sunset said for a moment. "You know, I think you're right." Rainbow said.
"Well, I'm here now," the Doctor said, "So, that means that within an hour, something weird, creepy, and or terrible is going to happen in the next hour. That seems to be a recurring habit of mine."
"Well, let's hope it's something good this time." Sunset said.
"Knowing my luck, it won't be." The Doctor said, and then knocked on the TARDIS. "Knock on wood, don't want to jinx it."
