//-------------------------------------------------------// Acid Fall Filly -by peppermintbrownie- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 One night in a city there was a group of black stallion ponies at a stage. There was a while crowd of ponies watching them in horror. Two more black stallions dragged an old lime green pony with a white mane and tail. He was chains. Most likely a prisoner. The black pony on stage had honey colored eyes and mane and tail, and a unicorn horn’s magic being pulled out for a cutie mark, smiled cruelly at him. "This is what happens when you speak out against us," he said. His voice was cold and deep enough to give the bravest stallion shivers and the boldest colt the most terrifying nightmare. "P-please. Don't hurt me. I have a family,” he begged. “I don’t care,” the stallion said, turned around, and started using magic, his horn glowing honey yellow. He seemed to be focusing in something in the dark, there was a sound of a lock, unlocking. He lifted up the object he was looking for. He was levitating a little filly. The filly was raspberry red, with a Orchid mane and tail, it wide bushy mane, kind of messy bushy, with 3 clumps sticking out and pointing in front. One on the far right, right next to the right ear, one in the middle, and one on the far left, right next to the left ear. The tail had the same style. Her eyes were also orchid. Her cutie mark grey cloud pouring rain onto an upside down horseshoe. Her ears were flattened against her skull as far back as they would go. She was scared out of her mind. The stallion put her down. “Alright. You see this outlaw?,” the stallion said pointing to the elder pony. “Y-Yes,” the filly said shakily. Her voice was soft and gentle, but still easy to hear. “Use your gift. Teach him a lesson, he’ll never forget,” the stallion ordered. The filly’s eyes widened, she looked at the stallion. “I-I can’t. I won’t!,” the filly said stepping away from him. The stallion was angered  by this. “YOU’LL DO WHAT I TELL YOU!!!!,” the stallion yelled, levitated the filly and started moving her towards the stallion. “No! No! No! No!,” she protested. She touched him and a cloud appeared over him. “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” she screamed. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” the stallion screamed as the rain began to pour on him. The stallion threw the filly aside throwing her against the wall and locking a large metal collar around her neck with a metal chain attached to it. Then the stallion left grabbed the chain with his magic and tugged on the filly with his magic, leaving the old stallion hurt. “Come on you!,” the filly said leading the filly away. The filly left, walking with her eyes closed, ears flattened and head down in shame. He took her to the outskirts of Canterlot. They took her to a barn, opened the door. “Go! I’m done with you!,” the stallion said, picking up the filly with his magic and throwing her forcefully against the barn floor. She pulled her upper body up with her front hooves and looked at the stallion angrily as he closed the door. The Doctor and Twilight were in the Tardis. “So Twilight, up for another trip?,” the Doctor said. “Another trip? Where?,” Twilight asked. Suddenly the Tardis jerked. Twilight and the Doctor fell to the floor. “What’s going on?!,” Twilight exclaimed. “I don’t know!,” the doctor exclaimed back. He got up and checked the reading on the Tardis. “What?,” the Doctor said. “What’s wrong?,” Twilight asked. “Remember how you grew up in Canterlot?,” the Doctor asked looking at her. “Yes,” Twilight replied. “Well, apparently, we’re going to the edge of Canterlot,” Two ponies were walking towards the edge of Canterlot. One was a brown stallion with a brick red mane spiky mane and tail and eyes. The other was a light blue mare with a green bumpy mane and tail and eyes. “I don’t care she's also pony. That little cursed pony needs to learn not to mess with us,” the stallion said angrily. “Now now! She's only a filly. It’s not like we see her everyday,” The Tardis landed right in front of them. “What is that?!,” the stallion said. The doors opened and the Doctor came out. He saw the two ponies. The mare was staring at him, and stallion was glaring at him, specifically at his cutie mark. “Oh hello there. I’m the Doctor and this is Twilight,” he said. He looked behind him and called out. “Twilight, get out here and meet these ponies,” he called out. Twilight came out and stood next to him. The stallion was also glaring at her cutie mark. “Oh hello. ...Why are you staring at us like that?,” Twilight asked uncomfortably noticing that the stallion was glaring at them. “I saw what their cutie marks mean. Their cursed ponies, get them!,” the stallion said. “Um…. Twilight I think it’s time for some running,” the Doctor said. “I agree,” Twilight said. The two started running. “Come back here!,” the stallion shouted running after them angrily. “Leave them alone!,” the mare shouted and ran after him angrily. They kept running and turned the corner on a building. The filly from last night was also running away from something, very nervous. She also turned the corner and bumped into the Doctor, making them both grunt and fall over. "Are you two okay?,” Twilight asked. “I think so? What was that?,” the Doctor asked, getting up. The little filly moaned and the two looked down at the filly rubbing her head. She looked at the two. “Oh sorry. Are you okay?,” the filly asked. “Yes. Yes I’m fine,” the Doctor said. Some ponies started yelling from around the corner. “Oh no, their still coming,” she mumbled. “Who is that?,” Twilight asked. “Their after me!,” the filly said nervously and started to get up to run. The Doctor walked behind her. “Hold on. Hold on,” he said and put a hoof in front of her. She looked at him and turned around. The Doctor removes the hoof when he was sure that she wasn't going to run away. “Now who’s after you?,” the Doctor asked. “Um other ponies,” the filly said. Just then two fillies grabbed her. One black filly with a flat straight grey mane, and a pillow for a cutie mark and one red one with a pink straight mane and 3 candy drops for a cutie mark. "Hey look it's that cursed pony!," the black one said. "Oh my gosh! You mean she's that freaky ponies from that dumb barn with that useless cutie mark?," the grey one said. "Ya. And look at this one, just what is it supposed to be?," the black pony said. "It's..... It's a-," "It's a rain cloud," the grey one said bored. "Um yes it's a rain cloud. I.... I got it when I started controlling rain clouds with my mind," the filly explained. "What a dumb cutie mark. No wonder they call you a cursed pony. you're cursed with stupid cutie mark for life," the black one said pointing to the cutie mark making the filly uncomfortable and embarrassed covering the cutie mark with her tail sheepishly. "Cursed pony! Cursed pony! Cursed pony!," the two chanted hoping around in a circle around the filly. The filly just sat there, eyes half closed, bored as if waiting for it to be over so she could just leave. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 “Well. Now I understand why she was running for her life,” Twilight said. “So do I. We might want to get her out of there,” the Doctor said. The fillies were still chanting. “Little filly,” the Doctor whispered. The filly looked over at them. “One,” he whispered. The filly got up. “Two,” The filly got ready to run. “Three,” The three ran. “Hey. Did we order our target to go?,” the black filly said. “No. Why?,” “Because there she goes!,” The other filly looked over to see the three running away. “Hey! Come back here!,” the black filly said before running after them. They ran off getting out of their sight. When the fillies passed ran by they came out from behind the crates that were hiding them. The filly sighed. “Thank you,” she said. “Your welcome. Sorry what was your name?,” the Doctor asked. “My name is Acid Fall,” she replied. “Hello Acid Fall. That’s a rather vile name. I don’t like it. Did you ever consider the name Georgia?,” “Wha-Huh? What kind of name is Georgia? I mean no offensive if that’s either of your names but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of some pony named Georgia,” Acid Fall said. “Oh right sorry. I am the Doctor and this is my companion Twilight Sparkle,” “Oh nice to meet you,” Acid Fall said. She tilted her head and looked at their cutie marks. “Oh. They were chasing you too, huh?,” Acid Fall said. “What?,” Both Twilight and the Doctor said. Acid looked surprised. “Oh! Well I just saw your cutie marks. I figured you were being chased and bullied like I was,” Acid said. “We were chased. That’s why those two fillies were chasing you?,” Twilight asked. “Yes. Ponies here have a very picky opinion on cutie marks. They don’t like mine because it has nothing to do with the Canterlot fashion,” “Well. That’s going to make it hard to find out what’s going on here,” the Doctor said to Twilight. “You’re welcome to stay at the homing building I live in, if need be. It’s just Speedster, Spell and I on one of the floors. We have plenty of extra room,” Acid said. “Oh well thank you,” the Doctor said. “Oh, it’s no trouble at all. I was going there anyway. Follow me,” Acid said as she began to walk home. The Doctor and Twilight followed her. As they walked something rustled in the bushes. It’s shadow crawled up the brick wall. It had yellow, angry eyes. They reached in homing building, the two fillies had called an orphanage. It was more of a hotel, only ponies that were given up could also live here. “And this is where I live,” Acid said. “Will the owner let us stay here? Just until we figure everything out?,” the Doctor asked. “You can ask her when we go in,” Acid said. She opened the door. It wasn’t a very crowded homing building. Two fillies walked over to them once they saw Acid. One was a cream colored unicorn with a light blue mane with a curl at the ends, light blue eyes, and a horn with a drop of magic for a cutie mark. And an orange earth pony with a green straight mane, green eyes and a wheel getting ready to go very fast, making a cloud of dirt for a cutie mark. “Hey Acid,” the earth filly said. Her voice smooth and mature. “We were scared you weren’t coming back after last night,” the unicorn said. Her voice was a bit scratchy. “Don’t you two know me by know? They tried to get rid of me as a baby and they couldn’t do it. And I’ve recently suffered through passing out of the physical pain they’ve put me through,” Acid said. “She does have a point,” the earth pony said. The three fillies looked at the Doctor and Twilight who were watching them. “Oh, well. I suppose I should introduce you. Spells, Speedster, this is the Doctor and Twilight. Doctor, Twilight, these are my best friends, Spelldrop, and Speedster Wheels,” Acid introduced. “A pleasure,” the Doctor said. “Nice to meet you,” Twilight added. “Nice to meet you too,” Spells said. “They want to  stay here?,” Speedster asked Acid. “Yes,” Acid said. “Well their going to have to talk to the owner Acid,” Speedster said nervous. “Don’t be nervous, it’s not like she charges ponies to stay here anyway,” “Still Acid, what if her super attendant starts giving you a hard time or something?,” “What, Ice Heart? No. She might be Cold Stone's boss” They looked over to Cold Stone's office. "But we hardly ever see her anyway,” Acid said. Acid knocked on the door. The owner came out, and looked down at Acid Fall. “Oh, Acid Fall. You’re back. Was there something you needed?,” she asked, in a sweet, gentle voice. “Yes Miss. Stonesole. I met two ponies and they want to stay here,” Acid said. She pointed to the Doctor and Twilight. Stonesole looked at them. “Well. Alright then. They can stay next door to you girls. Be careful today. I know you’ll most likely be okay, but some ponies had mentioned that shadowy figure that causes a lot of destruction in this town. The fillies cringed. “You mean that poltergeist-like one?,” Spells said, nervously. Stonesole gulped and nodded. “Mm- hm,”  she said. "He can't be a poltergeist, he's not dead," Acid pointed out. A white pegasus teenage colt jumped out. “And I heard he has a friend named Slenderpony,” the colt said in a deep voice. “Wait. What? Really?,” the doctor said, annoyed. “Who?,” the three fillies said in unison. “Oh, you little fillies don’t know about his friend do you?,” the colt said. “Stormy quit it,” Stonesole said. “He’s a good friend of HIS. He helps hold down HIS prey while he disposes of it. And sometimes he even helps dispose of it. He wears a suite, has no face, and has black, slimy tenticals. He was known for taking and kidnapping little foals,” The fillies were shaking. “And their never heard from, ever again,” Both Spells and Acid were hugging Speedster, with their ears back, shaking. “N-Never,” Spells studded. Stormy shook his head. “Never. And next, he’s coming. After. YOU!,” stormy said, saying the you very loudly and suddenly. “He’s right behind you!,” he exclaimed. The three fillies screamed. Speedster ran, she could run very fast, leaving a cloud of dust behind her. Next Spells ran and then Acid. All three girls running away screaming. They ran up the spiral stairs of the tall building. Stonesole ran to the front, where you could see the whole way up. “Girls!,” she called out, trying to get them to calm down. But they didn’t hear her, they just ran, into their large apartment-like rooms. Acid and Speedster opened the door with their hooves, while Spells opened her’s with her magic, only the top section of her horn was glowing with magic. They slammed the doors behind them. Stonesole glared at Stormy, who was laughing hysterically. “Great job, Stormy. Now those girls are going to have nightmares all night,” Stonesole said dryly. “Oh, come one Stonesole, I was just joking with them. I know there’s no such thing Slenderpony. It’s just an old pony’s tale,” Stormy said. “Well, no you’re going to escort these ponies up to their room, take care of all the paperwork, give them their keys. And then you’re going to go into the girls’ rooms and tell them that there is no Slenderpony, it can’t hurt them, it never existed and you were just joking. Got it,” Stonesole said. “Got it,” Stormy said, pouting. He looked over at the Doctor and Twilight. “Follow me,” he said and went up the stairs. “I’d say he deserves that much,” Twilight whispered to the Doctor. “I agree,” the Doctor said. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Stormy brought then into the room. It was on a different floor than the fillies’ rooms. “Alright. The room has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a dining room, two closets and a balcony,” Stormy said dryly. “Just sign your names here and I’ll give you your keys. You’re not expected to pay anything. This is a building made to house the orphaned, the abused, the abandoned, the homeless, the poor, and the misfortunate,” He gave them a quill and they signed their names. Stormy gave them the keys. One pair each. “Now if you excuse me I have to go tell my mom’s annoying little residents that a ghost story is a ghost story,” Stormy said. He went to go talk to the fillies. After a while the shadow figure watched them and then left and went inside a building. Suddenly the building blew up. “What was that?!,” Twilight asked. “I don’t know,” the Doctor replied. They were interrupted by the three fillies running outside very alert with saddlebags. “Hey, where are they going?,” Twilight asked. The Doctor was already following them. The three fillies ran towards the sound very determined, almost like they knew what was going on. But they stopped short of the building. It was a brick building, completely blown up. Some planks of wood were on fire and nearly half the building’s bricks were lying around. “Where did he go?,” Acid asked. The other two shrugged. “Guys! What are you doing?,” Twilight asked, as the two catched up. The three suddenly looked figety. “Oh….. Nothing. Just though I reconized somepony out here,” Acid Fall quickly responded. “Huh. We’ll we were just about to investigate. Would you like to join us?,” the Doctor asked calmly. The three fillies looked at eack other. “What? Oh. Oh! Um. Um….. Sure,” Acid said. “Grand,” the Doctor said, gently ruffling Acid’s mane. The group started to walk off. “Doctor. What are we doing. What if something dangerous is going on. How are these fillies’ supposed to help?,” Twilight asked. “They clearly know something about what happened. Either their envoloved in what just happened, or they know someone who is and aren’t saying. We can’t let them out our sight. Not even for a second,” the Doctor expalined. They walked into a wearhouse. They walked into one of the rooms and the Doctor looked out the window which was towards the destroyed building, but that wasn’t what was scary, what was scary was what was between the two buildings. The long alley. The Doctor squinted his eyes. “Wait. …. Wait a minute,” he said. “What is it?,” Twilight asked. Acid walked over and also looked out the window, she planted her two fore hooves on the window seal. “This alley. It a dark as night, the sun’s still out. That’s not right. This alley should be getting sunlight,” the Doctor said. Acid squinted her eyes. Two red angry eyes appereared ontop of the darkenss and lashed out. It grabbed Acid by her two front hooves and pulled her out of the building. She squeeled. The Doctor's eyes widened and he quickly grabbed her, locking his hooves around her chest and ribs. "Ok! No! Starting to make sense!," the Doctor said trying to pull Acid back into the building. He quickly grabbed the rope that was tied to the foot of the bed and wrapped it around himself to keep him ancord, but still got pulled out of the window. "Doctor!," Twilight screamed looking out the window. The two fillies looked at the darkness below them and rolled their eyes. "Oh no. Not again," Spell said exasperated. Then end ran out of rope and stopped the two's fall. They looked down, the darkness had turned into a very bright and colorful black hole. Red and blue and gold. It was also roaring. "Ok. That's not normal. Hold on, and try not to move," The Doctor said, keeping one hoof firmly gripped onto Acid when getting the sonic screwdriver from her pocket. The darkness however, had it's grip on all four of Acid's legs, and pulling hard. "Ya.... I'm afraid both those things are impossible for me to do right now," Acid said, straining from the strength of the force trying to pull her down. "Fair point," the Doctor agreed. He used his sonic screwdriver on the rope and the two were quickly pulled back up. The Doctor got into the building and then got two hooves on Acid again. He pulled as hard as he could, stretching the tentacles and then using the sonic screwdriver on them. the black hole roared again and let go of Acid, making the two fall back and into the wall on the other side of the room. "Are you two okay?," Twilight asked walking over. "I think so," the Doctor said letting go of Acid and the two got up. "Thank you," Acid said. Before the Doctor could say anything, they heard a deep, raspy, airy voice. "ACID. COME AND PLAY. ACID," the black hole said. The other went over and looked through the window. "You know, if any pony else heard a living creature of darkness that looks like something that should not be alive talk to them, it would be weird," Acid said ignoring what the black hole said. "Well it's reasonably clear that you two know each other. But there is one thing troubling me. And believe me I really feel uncomfortable saying this. Why haven't you eaten anyone yet?," the Doctor said. "EATTEN? OH NO. I DON'T EAT PONIES. I EAT.... I.... EAT," "What? What do you eat?," the Doctor asked. "I EAT.... FEAR!," it said. Then it morphed. Turning into a small, but still very large compared to ponies, pitch black cloud, with red pony eyes and razor sharp teeth, looking at them evilly.
