The Doctor and the Fire Filly Episode 1 Crash Landing
Chapter 3
Previous Chapter“Ok. I think I have everything I’ll need if we find anything. Now let’s see,” Skyclear said.
She leaned againist the couch to get a better look at the stallion.
“Well, nothing looks swollen or bruised,” she said.
She pressed a hoof aganist his forehead and moved it around a bit.
“Bumps neither. He seems fine,”
She put an ear to his chest.
“Well his heat’s beating at least. That’s a good sign,” she said.
She put a hoof on the other side of his chest, but felt something. She put her ear againist it.
“Wait? What?!,” she said lifting her head shocked in confused.
“What? What is it?,” Spelly asked.
“There’s… two heartbeats!,”
“You’re kidding. You’re kidding right?,” Spelly said slightly concerned.
“I’m serious. Come listen,”
She motioned Spelly over. Spelly came over and listened to his heart.
“What are you talking about Skyclear? There’s only one heartbeat,”
“Listen to the other side of his chest,”
Spelly did and she also heard the second heartbeat.
“Ok you were not kidding!,”
“I told you. This is getting serious. A pony should not have two heartbeats. Maybe something happened in the crash and a household first aid isn’t strong enough. Maybe we should get him to the town hospital,”
The stallion sat straight up making the girls squeel and fall back from being startled.
"Huh? What?," Skyclear said rubbing her head.
"Uh. What happened?," the stallion asked.
"Wait. I regenerated into a pony somehow. how did I get here?," the stallion asked.
"Uh.... We brought you up here," Skyclear said getting up.
"Oh... okay then," the stallion said and passed out again.
"Wait. Hold on. Are you okay? Do you need to go to a hospital? Can you hear me? Hello?," Skyclear said.
Her attempts were in vain. She looked at her friend blankly, before looking at the sun. It was getting dark. She looked back to her friend.
"Come back first thing tomorrow. If he isn't awake by then, we can take him the hospital," Skyclear said.
"You got it. I'll see you tomorrow," Spelly said.
She left and Skyclear went upstairs to her room and went to bed.
The next morning Spelly was running up to Skyclear's bedroom.
"Skyclear! Skyclear! Wake up! You're not going to believe this!,"
Skyclear moaned and opened her eyes groggily. She planted her hooves on the bed and pushed herself somewhat up.
"Spelly? You- You've never came over and woke me up before. Must be important,"
She yawned.
"Skyclear. Did you make that breakfast downstairs?,"
"Uh.... What breakfast downstairs?,"
"That means that he made it, if you didn't,"
"Who? Spelly, my brain is still asleep. You're going to have to be straight with me,"
"The pony we found yesterday!,"
Skyclear was wide awake after hearing that.
"He's up?,"
She got out of bed and walked with her friend downstairs.
"No. But he's not unconscious. He's asleep,"
The two went downstairs.
"It was almost night time when we left him and the sun's only been up for an hour. He was unconscious last night. At what point last night was he able to get up, find the kitchen, cook up a meal and set it up all without me hearing? He couldn't have made too mu-,"
The two were stunned.
There were bagels, biscuits, boiled eggs, cereal, croissants, doughnuts, English muffins, French toast, Fruit, Muffins, Oatmeal, Orange juice, Milk, Pancakes, Peanut butter, butter, Toast, waffles and yogurt on the table.
"Whoa! Just..... Whoa!," Skyclear said.
"I know right! Check all this out. A pony most have stayed up all night to do this," Spelly said.
"But.... But when?," Skyclear said.
Spelly shrugged.
"I have no idea. But there is that note over there,"
Skyclear picked up the piece of paper.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY KID,
THE DOCTOR.
Skyclear got butterflies in her stomach. There was that name again. The only name she liked to be called other than Skyclear. Kid. She always enjoyed being called that by older ponies when it wasn't used as an excuse or in a patronizing way. To her it was a name of affection. Almost like the verbal way of some pony ruffling her hair, playfully.
"Well he woke up. We'll thank him for the breakfast once he wakes up. But it all, does look really good. No need to let it get cold," Skyclear said.
"I have to agree with you there," Spelly said.
The two fillies sat down and started eating.
"Say whatever you think about him. But he can sure make a great meal," Spelly said.
"You said it. Still I wish I could talk to him. Maybe when he wakes up we'll finally get some answers out of him," Skyclear said.
Then there was a knock at the door.
"Who could that be?," Skyclear said getting up and walking to the door.
She opened the door to see a grey earth pony with a lighter grey mane, tail, and eyes. He also had a pile of clay for a cutie mark.
"Hey guys. I heard about what happened yesterday and I wanted to make sure you were both okay," he said.
"Hello Clay Cloud. We're both fine. It missed both our houses," Skyclear reassured.
But the colt was no longer listening. He was staring at something behind his friend.
"Um.... Clay Cloud? Are you okay?," Skyclear asked, waving a hoof in front of her friend's face.
"Do you get how bad that looks?," Clay Cloud asked pointing behind her at the stallion.
