True Feelings

Chapter 3: "Truth"

"Sometimes it's hard to tell, what you really desire, but you must believe in yourself to understand your true self. That way you will certainly know the truth about yourself" - just some thoughts.

The clock was showing 6:03 AM - It's morning already. Usually around this time Pinkie wakes up, but not today. Right now she was having a weird dream, and it's so complex, that it's hard to understand this dream. For some reason she didn't wake up. While her mind was surrounded by reveries she got up of her bed. It is an event of sleepwalking; Pinkie was quite surprised when she discovered that she can sleepwalk sometimes, and she didn't know why she was doing it. Sleepwalking or somnambulism may have different cause, maybe Pinkie subconsciously was desiring something. Maybe because of her true feelings about Rainbow Dash. She always loved Dash, but she tried to hide it, 'cause it felt wrong. Eventually she decided to stay cool and don't pay attention at unusual things: like sleepwalking or increased heartbeat, or a blush appearing on her cheeks when she... thinks about Rainbow Dash. Maybe she was sleepwalking because her body wanted to be with Rainbow Dash? But eventually she woke up after walking outside of the house while sleeping (It seemed like she tried to find something or... someone), at first it was scary and very confusing when she found herself on the streets, after that she decided to close house every night. And Maud (her elder sister) sometimes could find Pinkie sleeping on unusual places. Very often she stopped at place where she was around while sleepwalking, she even went to Maud's room and slept with her (Pinkie slept everywhere in the house: kitchen, living room, around door or just on the floor.)

Pinkie got up from her bed and walked to the door, she opened it and went to corridor. The way she was walking - well, it was kinda strange, sleepwalkers don't walk like that Pinkie; She was walking slowly with her arms lifted up in zombie pose. The Zombie Pinkie was searching for her brains subject of secret love, sniffing around the house; after searching around every corner she went downstairs trying to find Rainbow Dash, sleeping in the living room on the sofa, she was shivering of nightmares. Sleeping Zombie Pinkie was around two-three meters away from Rainbow, she then walked a few meters in the right direction and she just "smelled out" Dash's smell. Mumbling to herself "..it smells like Rainbow". After she reached her... destination, she lied down on the sofa and cuddled Rainbow Dash while smiling. Rainbow Dash stopped shivering as she felt warmth. At first she just slept with her for a few moments, and Rainbow Dash didn't suspect a thing she just felt more happier, because it was really comfortable and warm. But then, Pinkie started licking Dash's cheek. Pinkie mumbled again"Sweet... like sugar" and smiling. Rainbow Dash started to wake up a little bit, she slowly opened her eyes and was shocked. Pinkie Pie was hugging Dash so tight and licking her cheeks. Dash quickly tried to get out of it, but she liked the way it was, so she gave up. But she started to feel terrible: "She's just sleepwalking, maybe she don't understand what she's doing. I need to wake her up." But she didn't quite hurried to wake Pinkie Pie, 'cause she really enjoyed it. "Well... I just had a nightmare, so... I think I deserve to be treated like that," she thought, trying to find a justification. While Dash was enjoying this moment, Pinkie woke up by herself. (Probably her dream has just ended)

"Huh? R-Rainbow... Dash?" - Pinkie opened her eyes, tongue stick out from her mouth. She was lying on a blushing Rainbow Dash on a sofa. "I-I erm... Sorry?" Pinkie tried to excuse while blushing, "It's just you know... sleepwalking thing, heh... heh" - she nervously chuckled. Pinkie realized that she was still lying on blushing Rainbow Dash - she quickly got off of her, and as she turned away and wanted to go. Rainbow Dash grabbed Pinkie's hand to stop her.

"W-wait! I... I need to talk to you" - Dash started, she made a small pause, and then continued: "I don't know how you feel about this, but I can't live like this; Not anymore... I can't hide it. I...I love you!". She was staring at Pinkie with hopeful eyes. Pinkie Pie was surprised to hear this, and she felt so happy that she could die of happiness. She realized that Rainbow Dash was waiting for an answer, so she quickly hugged Rainbow Dash and kissed her.

"I love you, too!" Pinkie exclaimed with happiness.

"You do?" - Rainbow Dash asked Pinkie.

"Of course Dashie. I always loved you, but I... was afraid that you won't accept my feelings," - she explained while hugging smiling rainbow haired girl.

"You know If we just told each other the truth It would be a lot easier," - Dash added with a little bit of sadness.

"Yeah, but now it doesn't matter, 'cause now we're together" - Pinkie smiled..
