Celestia had told Luna of the events that had transpired and of the punishment Blue Blood received. Which lead to Luna asking of the house of Blood. Celestia although reluctantly told her sister of her crush and how neither she nor Fiery Blood had acted on their feelings due to the difference in their status. Afterwards Celestia asked teasingly of what her sister thought of Night's member as a form of revenge towards Luna for making her share her crush. Luna's reaction was just a blushing red face and silence. Dawn was drawing near and Celestia broke the victorious silence she had created.

"Sister I have yet to regain my power since yesterday's ordeals. Could you um perhaps raise the sun in my steed?"-Celestia asked. In truth she had regained enough power to raise the sun but she wanted to conserve as much as she could to make sure she had enough when she decides to attempt to break the bond.

"Of course sister and worry not we shall do it justice unlike what you did to our beautiful night sky."-Luna said anger clear in her tone. She then proceeded to bring the dawn.

"I am sorry what more do you wish to forgive me sister?"- Celestia said pleadingly

"You didn't get even a single star, or even the moon right."- Luna shouted sounding angry. " As penance for thy actions we request that thou personally teaches Night how to read and write in Equish."- Luna finished with a devilish smirk.

"Uhm sister are you certain? Do you not wish to be the one to teach him? To help you decide on your feelings?"-Celestia questioned hoping that her sister would take the bait. Celestia had no idea if Luna was a bad teacher or if Night was merely a horrible student but she had no intent of straining her nerves if she could avoid it.

"We wished at first but considering what we learned yesterday." Luna blushed and looked away from her sister. " We believe that we shall keep our distance until we can come to terms with the uhm information."

"Very well sister I shall attempt it. However if I fail we shall hire a teacher as Night truly needs to learn the language as soon as possible. It simply wont do if we must continuously recast the enhancements you placed on him. It is too dangerous overcharging the enhancement even once would give his words power."-Celestia said with a resigned voice before adding. "Oh and sister perhaps we should get you a tutor as well seeing as how you have fallen into you ancient Equestrian again."-Celestia said smirking.

"Thee umm you shall do no such thing."-Luna said managing to correct herself.

"Very well sister I shall begin my punishment for butchering the night sky as soon as day court ends. For now let us go and eat breakfast."-Celestia said as she opened the door to the hall.

"Why not teleport sister?"-Luna asked curious

"I wish to preserve as much magic power as I can. Even thou Night is bedridden in the few days he has been here not a day has gone by without some sort of trouble following him or being caused by him."-Celestia said flatly. Although the real reason was different this was a truthful enough lie and Luna accepted it.

As Celestia and Luna were eating their breakfast Celestia had Fancy Pants clear her afternoon schedule so that she can earn her sisters forgiveness. Fancy Pants had pointed out that there were a few important meetings with foreign dignitaries and Luna had offered to stand in for Celestia but the sun princess ordered the meetings be rescheduled and merely stated.
"You are not ready yet to take back your position. The day will come but until then you should study up on all that has changed in your absence."
Luna replied with a grunting. "I shall strive to gain the knowledge I need."

Once the two sisters finished eating they parted one heading for the library while the other headed to listen to the complaints of ponies.

As day court ended Celestia was feeling tired. She had gone with almost no sleep during the night. Without a doubt she would have to wait for the next day before attempting to dispel the bond as any waiver in her magic might set off its defences. Celestia had drifted into slumber a few times during day court but after she agreed to make the "Jelly emergency reserve" she stood awake fearing that she might agree to another preposterous idea.
Celestia truly wished noting more but to sleep however she had promised her sister that she would try to teach Night Equish and she was not about to disappoint her sister even if Luna only asked in a hopes of tormenting her due to the state of the night sky.

When Celestia entered the library she was greeted by the sleeping form of her sister on top of an open book. She was pleased that Luna wanted to stand next to her and aid her in the ruling of the land but being in power would also mean that other countries would attempt to assassinate you. Celestia couldn't let her sister risk her life. As she was now a foal she lacked the sheer intimidation of size and magic power and stamina were a lot less then what she would need if she was to survive.

As Celestia left the library carrying the book that detailed basic Equish writing and the meaning of the main 7 symbols she ordered a guard to move her sister to a bed and headed for the hospital. When she arrived she saw Night sitting in his bed eating his lunch.

"Night how are you-r clothes coming along?"-Celestia asked deciding that it was a foolish idea to ask how he was feeling seeing as how he almost got his legs torn out and was assaulted by magic for it by the one he cared for.

"I can barely sit and the only pony I have seen is the nurse that brings me food."-Night said in a flat voice.

{I knew I was forgetting something. Just play it off as if it was expected.}-Celestia thought before speaking. "I am not surprised in the least after all with the Grand Galloping Gala coming along in only 3 months I am sure that even my guards are having trouble finding a tailor in canterlot who could spare the time. Worry not I am sure that they will manage to find one by tomorrow afternoon. That aside I am here to teach you basic Equish writing."-Celestia hurriedly added attempting to keep the conversation going before Night saw the flawed logic in her statement. It was true that the gala was in 3 months but only 50 or so ponies were invited and it usually took a tailor no more then 3 days to come up with a design and have it made.

"I have already tried. It is impossible to remember all of the symbols and their position."-Night said annoyed. His study session with Luna had him even more confused about the writing at the end then when it started. And he didn't even know anything when they started.

"Regardless your goal for today is to remember the seven main symbols and the 42 different combinations that you can make with 2 of the 7 symbols at once. If you can manage that we can start adding sub symbols to teach you words and we can work our way up to using 3 symbols and then more until you are capable of using all 7 main symbols in a single sentence."-Celestia waited for any questions or arguments but as Night said noting she continued. " The seven symbols represent the 6 elements of harmony and chaos. this is because the language was created to commemorate the defeat of Discord which allowed the foundation of the kingdom."-Celestia was interrupted by Night.

"I don't know what the elements are or who Discord is. Your explanation gives a lot of backstory and importance to the symbols but I still have no idea of their meaning."- Night stated getting annoyed that he was hearing the same history lesson again about the founding of the country when he was supposedly learning an alphabet.

"Ah I see it is merely common that foals are thought the significance of the symbols before they are thought the meaning. Very well if you believe that you can remember them without the story of their creation this is chaos this one is kindness this one is loyalty this one is laughter this one is truth this one is generosity and this one is togetherness."-Celestia listed of in rapid succession as she pointed out the symbols. "I expect you to know all different 42 different combinations that can be made while using 2 symbols at once. I will leave you to it"-Celestia said angrily as she left the book on Nights bed and stormed out.

{Well at least this time I was told the meaning. I should make sure to remember the meaning as neither Luna nor Celestia seem to understand the difference between significance and meaning. I wonder when Luna will visit me I still need to ask her what her sister meant by personal space. For now I have 7 symbols and 42 placements to remember it should be fairly simple provided I remember the meaning.}- Night thought as he began observing the seven symbols in the book and searching for any unique traits that would serve him to better remember the symbols.

Figuring out a unique made up writing that's needlessly complicated with the only purpose for the main symbols being a constant reminder of the rulers power is hard. Still sorry it took so long to write this chapter
