I know the story isn't too good so any criticism in the comments on how to make it better would be nice.

Chapter-3 The moment of truth[Edited]

"NOOOOOOOoooooooooooo..."

Luna screamed as the rainbow power hit her. Time seemed to slow down and she felt an intense head trough out her body. She attempted to scream in pain but her mind was moving much faster then her body. It almost felt like she was a statue but she was shaken from her fears that she might suffer the same fate as Discord after what felt to her like two days(few seconds).
During this time she thought { Why do I still see and feel the power of harmony all around me? Why do I not merely see the stone of which my statue is made if I am to see anything at all. How is it that I feel constant heat when my body is made entirely of stone? Will I ever be free again?} This last question reminded her of the being she had summoned.
{ Oh what have I done? In my attempts to free the land of my sisters control so that our ponies could reach their full potential I did something unforgivable. I not only took away Josh Rovers freedom but I then proceeded to strip him of control of his body and even his name! No he was only a tool, a necessary evil. The ends justify the means. "And what an end it is?" What has become of him? Surely the elements would not allow his death otherwise I would now be bound to the moon once more and this nauseating rainbow would not be tormenting me. Perhaps he was only bound to my statue. If so I can only hope that my sister would allow him the freedom I promised him. He did serve me better then I had expected. I guess I would just have to observe the dream realm to learn of his fate.
What? I can't enter the realm of dreams! NO...!!! Is this my punishment? For depriving a creature of its freedom and control of its body. Am I to forever gaze upon this rainbow while wondering what has become of the world around me and feel burning heat tough out my body.}

As Luna thought this the rainbow began to move again. The night princess was glad that the hated rainbow was disappearing She thought that someone had freed her from her prison but those thoughts disappeared as her body rapidly began to shrink and her power began to leave her body. From the exhaustion of having the power forcefully taken made Luna fall unconscious.

As the night princess awoke she noticed that the element bearers were bowing to her sister. { Oh thank harmony, I can still make things right for our subjects and maybe even earn the forgiveness of Josh Rovers for what I have done.} With these thoughts Luna got up and faced her sister but as soon as she saw Celestia's eyes she fell to the ground and whimpered.

Celestia was shocked {Why is my sister here? Regardless she seems younger. Perhaps the elements and her banishment rid her of her foolish notion that our ponies should rule themselves. I will keep her close and if the need arises strike her down but for now I will play the benevolent sister.}

"Luna will you forsake your evil ways and rule beside me? Please sister I have truly missed you."

All of the bearers were frozen in place unable to move as they watched their enemy get up and sprint to their ruler crying.

"I am sorry sister please forgive me, I was a fool to act as I did."

Celestia was just about to reassure her aberrantly reformed crying sister when a strange hairless diamond dog walked in. She was about to attack it but then AppleJack stood in front of it and spoke.

"Wait princess! This here's Night Shadow. Nightmare Moon used her weird magic to summon im here and then bound im to her will. He seemed like decent enough folk. He does look a tad smaller then what he was before but its definitely him."

{So that's how she escaped banishment, wait why is my sister hiding from the creature and using me as a shield? Is it dangerous? Oh no its coming closer but if I attack it now the element bearers would without a doubt question the next time I order them to use the power of harmony on my enemies. No I will wait if it strikes first then they will understand the reason for its destruction.}

Celestia mentally prepared for the blow. The creature stood in front of her. Her sister shivering in fear beneath her left wing. The attack never come however as the creature bowed and spoke.

"I seek to serve the mare that bound me to herself with magic."

All the ponies had surprised expressions on their faces except for Luna who was completely engulfed within Celestia's left wing. The first to speak was Rainbow Dash.

"Why would you want to serve her? She took you from your home and forced you to act against your will with magic. And anyways Nightmare Moon is gone."

"Regardless I am still bound to her body and should I stray too far from her I will die. Even now I can feel the pleasure of the white ones wings all around her."

Celestia was disturbed, could her sister repentance be all an act? No her fear seemed genuine, perhaps the elements had made her truly regret her time as Nightmare Moon but what was she to do about this creature. She knew of no spell that would bind two creatures so thirdly that one would feel the pain of the other. She couldn't risk killing the dog and potentially killing her sister. Not now that she had finally seen the error of her ways.

"Very well Night Shadow as the ruler of Equestria I shall allow you to serve as my sisters personal assistant. Know this though, should you harm her or any of our subjects you would be punished severely."

"But sister it frightens us."-Luna said meekly between sobs.

"Now Luna, it was you who summoned him and bound him to yourself. You will take responsibility for your actions even if you weren't thinking straight at the time." {Well at least I am a bit more sure that the elements turned her back into my beloved sister although I would still have to wait and see.}

Celestia though as all of them were being teleported back to Ponyville .{I and my sister are immortal but Twilight is not I must leave her in with the other bearers or I risk this dog harming her and that will mean I wouldn't be able to use the elements power when I need it. But I cant just tell her to stay she would never accept that. Maybe I could assign her to stay and strengthen her bonds with the other bearers. Yes that is sound as it serves the practical purpose of strengthening the elements powers.}
