Ch1

Time Patrollers, it is our job to fix distortions in time created by those who think that they can make time their own personal play grounds. Ever since time travel became a reality there have been those who abuse it. With the blessings of “The supreme Kai of Time” we were given the task hunting down those individuals as well as fix whatever it was they messed up.

When the supreme Kai went to choose her heroes, she gave each a test looking for potential, already present power, of course pure intentions. I am an Arcosian, if you've never heard of those then that would be because thanks to a certain tyrant our original name was lost in time and today we are known as “The Frieza clan” You see when the supreme Kai pulled me out of my timeline the person known as Frieza never existed or was even a thought. Needless to say I was appalled one of our race could do those terrible things, but that is history and I cannot change it. Hell I was around before even the saiyans made their deal with us.

“HEY ICE!!!” Speaking of Saiyans that would be my partner Tine. Like me she was brought from an earlier timeline than the others. She is very stubborn, hardheaded, and genuinely not smart. She is however kind (in her own way), loyal, and honest (brutally so). And for a female Saiyan she is a behemoth, she stands a good 6’9” at least, as compared to my sorry to say 5’4”. Yes I’m a midget in comparison to her I can’t help that. Her hair is a deep magenta and has light brown skin. And her eyes oh god those eyes the most beautiful predatory gold you can imagine. She was brought out of her timeline when her people were still at war with the Truffles. On her home planet.

I sat up on the bench I was currently resting on and looked over to my partner. Today she was wearing a black and orange lined vest hung open with black wrappings underneath. She was also wearing blue training gi pants (much like my own) and martial art sandals and her tail was of course wrapped around her midsection. It was with her intense training under Son Goku and Prince Vegeta that she finally obtained her level three transformation. And it was because of this training that she is now the strongest saiyan in Tokitoki city, home to the time patrol.

“Let me guess you want a sparring partner?” I asked already knowing the answer.

“Well duuuuuh~ no one else can even lay a finger on me here.” I chuckled at that. While I can’t turn super saiyan (cuz I’m not a saiyan) we Arcosians are powerful in our own right and have transformations of our own that also help to bolster our strength. I furthered my strength by constantly training and sparring with Tine, helping her reach her peak.

“Sorry Tine your sparring match is gonna have to wait.” We turn to see Trunks standing there expectantly. “We have a mission that requires our immediate attention. Meet me and the supreme kai at the Time Nest.”

We turned to each other and smiled. “No training like actual combat right?” Tine chuckled.

At the Time Nest we saw the supreme kai of time as well as Trunks talking to Fuil a petite greyish blue Majin female from the distant future. She was still very new to the Time patrol if I remember correctly. Trunks noticed us right away and waved us over. “This way.” The five us quickly followed the supreme Kai to the time vault and the scroll of eternity, which as usual when a disturbance was present in the timeline was glowing an ominous shade of purple. “There is a massive distortion in the timeline regarding the planet Equis. Specifically the kingdom known as Equestria.” The supreme Kai unrolled the scroll and the images it showed were those of destruction and chaos on a grand scale. Very easily the destruction of their world hung in the balance. A once marvelous castle was burning as familiar mind controlled enemies, which should not be there to begin with, slaughtered the equine citizens. “The distortion clearly shows the handy work of the Demon god Demigra as well as that of Towa and Mira.”

“Didn't we beat Demigra as well as kill Towa and her creation?” I asked clearly confused.

The supreme Kai sighed “I fear Demigra’s influence is always going to affect the timeline as for Towa and Mira I suspect Demigra had a hand in them as well. Also things are not as simple this time around. The scroll is having trouble pinpointing the exact location in time the disturbance occurred. Possibly because this world is one based completely on magic. So we have decided that we will be sending you to three years prior to the events you see before you. I am sorry but that is as accurate as we can get which why we are sending two top Patrollers there. Fuil here” she gestured to the Majin, who waved sheepishly “will be acting as your liaison, she will contact you should we find anything new during your stay on the planet. Again I am sorry for forcing this burden on you.”

I looked up at Tine as she looked down at me, after a single moment she smiled like a Cheshire cat while I fastened my favorite bandana to over my head.

We both turned back to the supreme Kai “When do we start.”

“In a moment there some other things that need to be discussed. Firstly, this is a long term mission and as such I will be accompanying you there to meet with the rulers first.” Tine’s mood suddenly turned downtrodden. I knew she was itching to get started. And while I agreed I wanted to get a move on as well, this was starting to look like a very unusual mission.

“Why the sudden interest with the rulers, you've never made contact with leaders regarding our actions before?” I asked out both curiosity as well as necessity.

The supreme kai nodded “That is because these are no mere rulers, they in fact in relation to us Kais. Like us they are beings who can live for eternity unless killed by unnatural means. And while they may only control a single sun and moon on their planet they are still immensely powerful. So we must at least inform them of what’s happening before we go charging into their domain.”

Don’t we do that all the time? I thought.

“I’m gonna go ahead, you two use the eternity scroll.” With that the supreme kai of time disappeared as in a ball of light. Me and Tine nodded to each other and grasped the scroll tightly.

“-as you can see by this chart here the growth of our industry-“ Celestia once again to another petitioner out for their own profit. She honestly stopped listening the moment he came through the door barely taking notice of every third or fourth sentence. I would give bucking anything to get out of this right now. Silence broke her from her inner rant. As she looked around there was no sound nothing not even the annoying petitioner. Everything seemed frozen like a painting. She immediately stood form her throne. Lighting her horn to scan the area for anything that me be the cause.

She didn't have to scan for long as an unknown magic signature made itself present in the garden. Without so much as a thought Celestia teleported out of the throne room and to the garden. She was shocked to find a small creature looking up at the petrified discord. The creature stood just a little taller than her ponies. It had light pinkish skin and dark pink hair on top its head. It was garbed in some form of baggy formal attire.

“CEASE AT ONCE!!!” She screamed at the creature. Horn lit and ready for a confrontation.

The creature didn't even turn around “Hello Princess.” She (Celestia guessed female by the voice) slowly turned around to face her with bright and caring smile.

“Time spells are forbidden and as such you face life imprisonment.” Celestia preached in a stern tone to the creature, who laughed childishly.

Quickly recovering from her laughter the creature spoke again “Please forgive me Princess. Let me introduce myself I am the supreme Kai of time. It is my duty guard and oversee the time stream. And unfortunately Your timeline has become corrupted and we must find cause as soon as possible.”

Celestia furrowed her brow at this ‘supreme kai’ who seemed to like a little filly. But one look into her eyes told Celestia that this creature was far older than she appeared. She briefly wondered if this was how her subjects felt when they looked at her. “Explain.”

The creature’s smile left her face as she began. “Just recently I noticed a shift in your timeline one that would destroy you’re entire world if left alone. This is where we will need your patience and understanding. To ensure your timeline reaches the proper conclusion I have sent two of my agents here who will arrive shortly after this conversation. Ordinarily we would show up at the breech of the anomaly however this time we cannot pin point the exact location in time and we are therefore forced to send my agents three years prior to the fallout to uncover the cause. I believe the reason we cannot accurately pinpoint the location in time is do interference of an old enemy. However it is also equally possible that the interference could have come from the magical density of your world.” The creature paused to let the information sink in. “Again this type of preceding is unusual as you wouldn't normally know we were even here however, I will not disrespect my kin by not making the threat known to you.”

Celestia Shook her head “I’m sorry your kin?”

The creature smiled again “Yes though you are not a Kai you are still a deity by right and as such you, your sister, even this buffoon” she gestured to the statue of Discord “are entitled to the same respect we give each other. To us you are our sister.” Celestia stared slack jawed not knowing what to say “Now then regarding the two that will be here it is up to you how they proceed. Either you can have them be subtle and stay out of sight, or you can introduce them to your society they will be here for three years after all. Now I suggest you return to your throne lest your guards realize your absence.” With that the Supreme Kai vanished in a ray of light.

Celestia blinked as time began to flow again and immediately teleported back into the throne room, where the ponies were franticly searching for their missing princess. “Princess, what happened? One second you were there the next you gone and then you just teleported back.” One of the guards frantically questioned.

“No time for that now, day court has been canceled today, and I want everypony to leave the throne room, NOW!” She yelled the last part making sure they understood the urgency. The guards quickly ushered out the disgruntled petitioner as well as making themselves scarce.

Celestia sat alone in the throne. She didn’t know what to make of all this. The creature from earlier claiming a disaster and that she and her were somehow related. And now there were supposed to be two more coming. She slumped down on her throne with heavy sigh. She sat in silence and just she was wondering if they would appear, two rays of light cascaded in the middle of the throne room, leaving two creatures both vastly different from the first that had visited.

For the life of her she didn’t know being looked more intimidating. The one on the right was about the same height as Luna but still easily shorter than herself. It was all white with what appeared to be chitin. It also seemed to be adorned with large smooth shiny green plates like smoothed emeralds. One was at its direct center, as well as one on each forearm and shoulder. The creature stood bipedal with a long tail. It wore baggy purple pants and an orange bandana covering its head.

What made this creature truly intimidating was not its overall appearance but the creatures face. If it had a mouth she couldn’t see it as it seemed to have a mask of sorts covering where it should be. Its eyes were pure black sclera, no pupils or iris at all just completely black with red lines coming from them almost like tears if they weren't so thick.

The other creature was absolutely massive it stood at least as tall herself maybe taller. It also stood bipedal with light brown skin and a deep maroon mane that reached that reached half its body length. Its eyes were a predatory amber color. It wore a tight orange lined vest that hung open and stopped at the mid drift and a rap underneath. As well as white pants with a red sash. It also seemed to have a brown tail wrapped around its waist.

So many thoughts ran through the alicorn’s mind what exactly were these creatures? How would her ponies react to these creatures? How was she supposed to explain their sudden appearance? Was their benefactor being honest or was she lying? What was this threat that they had to stop? Where would they stay while they’re here? If they’re here because of a time distortion doesn’t that mean their presence also creates a distortion? Why was the tall one looking at her like that?

The creature suddenly released and ear shattering screech “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! SHE’S SO ADORABLE!!!!” The creature suddenly vanished and before Celestia could form a coherent thought she found herself in a bone crushing embrace.

Ch 2

Celestia cleared her throat before speaking to the pair in front of her. The brown one now sporting a large lump on her head. “Now then your ‘Supreme Kai’ was it,” the white one nodded. “did not get into very many details into exactly what it is my kingdom is now facing and I find her time magic to be very disconcerting to say the least. And to immediately send her soldiers here does not put me in a comfortable position you see.”

“(sigh) Yes your majesty I understand your frustration.” The white one said before looking to his companion shaking his head. “As I’m sure you were told we are here to fix the time stream. Your planet’s past was corrupted or for clarifications sake someone, we have a guess, has chosen to change your future for his own purposes.” Celestia motioned him to continue.

“Now either because of the magical nature of your world or the interference of another we were unable to determine the exact change in the time stream that lead to a very bad future for your world. So we have been sent three years prior to the resulting calamity. And like I’m sure she’s explained we’d normally do this in secret however due to your deity status the supreme kai felt that you should know full well of what was happening. And has sent us to deal with it.” He nodded his head to his companion again. “That being said we are at your disposal and will abide by any and all restrictions, rules or orders you give us. So long as they do not interfere with our duty to the time stream. We are at your service.” He finished with the both of them kneeling in a similar fashion to the knights of old Equestria.

Celestia shook her head “Rise, If I am to understand you correctly you are to help preserve the equestrian timeline but if you are here are you not also distorting the timeline?” The two creatures rose and the male shook his head.

“Yes Princess, the timeline has already been changed by our presence however we are to see that it takes the proper course as whole. It is as always too late to fix damage done to the time stream, but as said time is stream we can make it bend and curve but as long as it reaches its proper destination everything else becomes mute.”

Celestia sighed “There is too much uncertainty and to be honest your forms seem unpleasant and will likely scare my citizens.” She shook her head again. “Please understand that I cannot outright trust you but if what you say is true then only time will tell. Now may I please know the name of those I am addressing?”

“Of course your highness, I am Ice and my child brained partner here is Tine.” Tine rubbed her head sheepishly. “Don’t you think you should apologize?” Ice chided.

Tine looked up sheepishly at the princess “I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me.” Celestia giggled at her embarrassment.

“It’s quite alright though please if u feel the need to ‘hug’ my subjects be gentler with them.”

Tine found the ceiling very appealing before replying “I’ll keep that in mind.” Celestia giggled again at her response.

“Please fallow me and I’ll have the guards prepare a room for you both and this evening I would like you both to meet my sister and maybe a few more of my subjects that may prove useful in your mission.” Celestia moved off the throne and the two Time Patrollers moved to flank her.

“Your Highness I understand you wanting more informed of our stay here but we must keep our true purpose here secret from the general public for obvious reasons.” Ice informed her as they reached large double doors.

“I am well aware however the ones you will be informing are the ones I trust with my life and on two occasions the lives of my people.”

“I understand.”

Celestia opened the door and immediately the two guards posted gasped at the two beings. The guards drew their spears ready to strike the two of them. “PRINCESS WATCH OUT!!!”

“Lower your weapons.” She ordered in a calm manner “They are guests and will be here for a while. So I’d like to show them to the guest quarters.” The guards stared at her wide-eyed but neither were ready to question her highness.

“As you wish princess.” The guard on the right said. Quickly both lowered their spears. “I’ll show you to your rooms.” Without another word the guard began walking with Tine and Ice on his heel.

“I will send a guard to retrieve you for dinner.” Celestia said to the fleeting group.

“Of course your majesty.” Ice said over his shoulder as he walked away from the princess.

Celestia let out a troubled sigh and returned to the throne room, summoning parchment and quill as she walked.

‘My dearest student,

I am sorry to inform you that a situation has arisen and I must request you and your friends presence this evening to discuss the coming events. I especially request Applejack be present we have many unknowns and I’m hoping her element of honesty will help put some of my fears to rest. I will have a chariot come to collect you.

“Excuse me guard, this might be a strange question but when’s the next full moon?” I asked the guard stationed outside our room.

“Um…” He seemed hesitant “we just had a full moon a couple nights ago so we won’t have one for a while.”

I smiled “Thank you, so how long till dinner.”

“Dinner will start in a few hours I have been instructed to take you there at the allotted time.”

“I see. Thank you again.” I turned and went back to the room where Tine was doing push-ups by the bed. “Good news they won’t have a full moon for another month should give us time to settle in.”

“That’s good at least we will have time to explain things before it gets out of hand.” Tine paused in her push-ups. “How long do you think it will take Fuil to find the anomaly?”

“Hard to say, I for one don’t like not knowing when or where they’ll strike if we get caught off guard it could be a problem.”

A worried group of six mares landed in front of the castle gates via Pegasus carriage. The guards swiftly showed them to the throne room where princess Celestia was eagerly waiting.

“Princess!” Twilight exclaimed running up to her mentor, nuzzling her affectionately.

“Twilight thank you for coming on such short notice.” The Princess said the mare and group respectively.

“Princess, Twi told me y’all needed my help specifically, and ah’m mighty humbled you think so highly of me but ah can’t think of anythin’ ah could possibly help you wit’.” Applejack stated.

“I understand, the circumstances of this visit are strange at best. I’ve called you all here because a being has made herself known to me and has warned me of an impending disaster. And while she and her cohorts have claimed to be here to help, I just can’t be sure, when their” Celestia cleared her throat “appearance is as intimidating as it is strange.”

Applejack cut in “OH ah git ya Princess yah want me to make sure they ain’t lie’n.”

Celestia smiled “Exactly”

“Um princess who and what exactly are we dealing with?” Rainbow asked.

“ANNND can we throw them a PARTY?!” Pinkie pie exclaimed jumping up and down.

Celestia proceeded to explain to the group what she was told by the supreme kai and her companions. She explained their appearances as best she could and as much as she could infer based on their words.

“But Princess” Twilight interrupted “Didn’t you say that time magic’s were illegal.” Celestia gave her student a knowing smirk.

“That didn’t stop you.” Twilight rubbed the back of her head with her hoof laughing nervously. “Come we should meet our guests for dinner.”

The dinning table was in the direct center of the room. It was long definitely the royalty feast table you’d imagine it’d be. Tine and I walked behind our escort. Celestia was seated at the head of the table while six mares were spread out along each side of the table. A purple unicorn was seated to Celestia’s right and an empty chair to her right slightly larger not meant to accommodate the average pony. Tine and I took our seats next to the larger chair.

The other ponies obviously had mixed reactions to our appearance. The yellow pegasus looked to be ready to run if we so much as raised our voices. The Orange normal pony seemed very cautious but held a determined stare. The purple unicorn seemed to be studying us intently like a scientist that just found a new species. The white unicorn seemed uninterested. The pink one seemed…. Happy? The blue pegasus was the most curious of them all as she had higher ki energy than the rest and was obviously on guard.

The purple one was the first to speak “(cough) Um yes hello. My name is Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy” She motioned to each one in turn.

I nodded my head before replying. “Pleasure My name is Ice.” I motioned to Tine who had lustful look on her face while staring at the ponies. “This is my partner Tine… I warn you she likes hugs.” This made Tine blush furiously. The six mares looked at her confusingly

“I…I… Do NOT!!!” She almost screamed looking away.

“I’m sorry but was that not the first thing you did upon our meeting.” Celestia added with a smirk.

“wel…well IT’S YOUR FAULT FOR BEING ADORABLE!!!” Tine protested.

The mares giggled at her expense. The doors opened up again. And a midnight blue alicorn walked in sleepily. “Good evening Luna.” Celestia greeted as the alicorn took a seat next to Tine.

“Good morning Sister” The alicorn looked at the group frowning, she oddly wasn't put off by our appearance as the other mares were. “you didn’t mention we’d have guests.”

“It was last minute Luna we, and now that we’re all here perhaps this would be a good time for us a little more from our star ward friends here.”

“Right, now as I’ve said I am Ice and this is Tine we are Time Patrollers. A Time Patroller is someone in service to the Supreme Kai of Time who guards over time and fixes the time stream should someone interfere with it.” I announced over the clamor. “Now I will answer any all questions to the best of my ability.” The mares looked to each other trying to find something to ask.

Twilight raised her hoof “OK I’d like to start if that’s ok with you Princess?” Celestia nodded. “You said your ‘Time Patrollers’ but you to seem very different from one another. So I’m assuming your both different species.”

I elbowed Tine to pull her away from a Pineapple she’d been devouring. She looked up at me then to Twilight and swallowed with a large gulp. “Yeah that’s right I’m a Saiyan. We are a proud warrior race who lived for nothing more than combat. And PLLLEEEAASSE don’t confuse us with humans I know we mostly look the same but humans don’t have tails.” She stated before unwrapping her tail and showing it off. “And humans are weak.”

Celestia frowned at this news but before she could vocalize her concerns Fluttershy spoke first. “Um said combat so you mean you… um.. fight… for a living.”

“Yeap, we fought and trained always striving to become stronger that was our way of life.” Tine stated with a sad smile.

Rarity took notice notice of her sad expression and voiced her concerns“Excuse me darling but why do you keep using past tense? and you sound so sad why is that?”

“Yeah In this timeline there are only two full blooded saiyans left and they both taught me a lot.” The group looked at her with confusion and worry.

“You mean out of all your people there are only two remaining please tell us what caused this.” Celestia asked her worry now replaced by pity.

Tine sighed began speaking again “In my timeline we were a thriving people we had just won the war against the Truffles who would try and enslave us, I was taken shortly after that war. And put in service to the supreme Kai. I was for lack of a better word pissed when I learned of my peoples down fall. And yet at the same time I can’t bring myself to pity them.” The mares continued to stare at her if they had resentment at those last few words they didn’t mention it. “Shortly after I was recruited into the Time Patrol my people made a pact with an evil group of Arcosians who used them to destroy countless planets and put thousands other races extinct. They deviated from our warrior’s code. Warriors do attack the weak we seek stronger opponents and forever strive to get stronger, my people lost their way and killed the helpless and innocent. It wasn’t till a few hundred years later that the Arcosians made a deal with betrayed my people and wiped our race of the map the only survivors were the Prince, his advisor, two lower class warriors and two higher class.”

“Wait you said there only two of you left what happened to the other four?” Rainbow asked eager to hear the rest.

“Prince Vegeta, Nappa the advisor and the lower class soldier Raditz were kept alive at the whim of Frieza the Arcosian in charge and was directly responsible for the extinction of our race. Kakarot or Son Goku as he later became known as was sent off world as a baby just prior to the destruction of our home. The last two Paragus and Broly escaped when Broly ascended to super saiyan and transported him and his father to safety.

“The trouble for them came much later when Raditz was ordered to go to Earth, the planet in which Kakarot was sent, to retrieve him and return to Frieza. Unbeknownst to Raditz or Frieza Kakarot lost his memory and made a new life for himself on earth. That’s when he gained the name Son Goku. Goku refused to allow Raditz to harm the people of earth and killed him in order to save it. However word got back to Prince Vegeta and Nappa and they to set out to earth to destroy it. The ensuing battle claimed the lives of many of Goku’s friends as well as Nappa. Prince Vegeta was spared and he returned to a deep space mother ship for healing.

“Shortly after Goku and his friends traveled to Planet Namek in hopes of reviving his fallen comrades. Once on Planet Namek he and Vegeta were forced to work together to defeat Frieze who was after the same objects as Goku. It was here that Goku learned the true plight of our people and coupled with his determination to end Frieza’s reign and the loss of his friends he rose to super saiyan and ended Frieza once and for all.

“Years later Goku and Vegeta were approached by Paragus who informed them of Broly. Wishing to both meet the boy they visited their planet. It was here they learned of that Broly had lost his sanity some time ago and was nothing more than a ball of rage and madness. Both Vegeta and Goku fought for their lives trying to subdue him. While Broly wasn’t killed in that battle Paragus was however.”

“Well that’s pretty much it Broly was killed later by Goku’s half Saiyan son Gohan. And as for me while I’m still a saiyan, I’m outside of the timeline and I can’t just change the past just because I don’t like it. No matter how much I’d like to.”

The room was quit for several minutes as they digested the disturbing news. “Soooo this Goku sounds like quite the guy.” Rainbow Dash offered.

Tine smiled “Yeah whenever there’s trouble he goes to in head first, like a true warrior. Vegeta himself has turned into an amazing warrior as well. I reached super Saiyan while fixing an anomaly in their time line. After words I trained under both of them and reached super saiyan 3 a month ago.”

“Ok so let meh git this straight ya’ll tellin me you’re entire race got wiped out by some nut job except for a handful and then ya’ll just keep on killin each other?” Applejack asked.

Tine rubbed the back of her head “well when you put it like that yeah but it was either that or death of billions more.” The group went silent again.

“Oook.” Rainbow moved her attempted to switch focus to me. “So what’s your story huh?”

I sighed “I’m an Arcosian” That one state caused everyone to stare wide eyed at me in fear. “Like Tine i was brought into the time patrol before the pact with the Saiyans even took place. In that time my kind were in a civil war between my family and Frieza’s family. My side was losing the war at the time and I was on deaths door when the supreme Kai called me into service. And like Tine I can’t just go back and end the tyrant before he became a threat because that would interfere with the time stream and we’d be in a much different present.”

“I find I must ask how is it you two are so different from your brethren.” Celestia spoke up. “Because if what you both say is true then you both should by default be evil monsters of destruction.” Celestia’s tone was grim and commanding reading to fight and defend her subjects.

I looked up at her “You have a nice planet here mostly peaceful obviously fun loving and good natured. Not an evil bone in their body. Tine’s people fought for freedom during her time among them, I fought in revolution to end a monsters reign. Both my people and Tine's fought for the greater good however we failed and evil prevailed. Tine’s people still fell into servitude while mine continued to be ruled by a mad king drunk on his own power. I can see your innocent faces and tell that only yourself and Princess Luna has ever faced true evil intent. Me and Tine have fought and killed for a brighter future." I let my pride leak into my voice.

"Your skepticism is not something we are unaccustomed to. Every time we get a new Time Patrol member we need to once again recap our story and attempt to alleviate their concerns.”

Celestia let out a tired sigh these beings had clearly been through a lot and it must pain them even to speak such.

“Um excuse me.” Twilight broke the silence this time. “All of this is a lot to take in but with all this going on I can’t help but wonder how is it, that you defend yourselves to such powers you’ve described. I can’t sense any magical power from either of you at all.”

Me and Tine looked at each other for a moment before laughing. “We don’t use anything as specific as magic. Our abilities come from our martial prowess and Ki.”

“I’m sorry what is Ki and strength alone can’t accomplish all that you've claimed.” Luna asked now taking part in the conversation.

“Ki is comprised of three elements shoki which is the mind, yuki which is courage or will, and genki which is energy of the soul. Ki is the combination of all three. It is a force that resides in every living thing. It has been called things such as life energy or some cultures have even called it soul magic.” I demonstrated generating a lightly condensed ki ball in my hand. “I’m surprised that you've never used it or heard of it especially when one of you has the same Ki Level as Nappa.” The group stared the Ki as I dispersed it safely into the air.

Rainbow Dash looked around “Wait you mean one of us can do that? WHO? I wanna know?! WHOS BEEN HOLDIN OUT?!” She hovered over the table glaring at her friends. I looked at Tine who smirked knowingly and we both pointed right at her. “Wait what?” She fell on top of the table conveniently missing the food.

“Now hold on there, ah know Rainbow can be awfully impressive at times but pegasi can’t do magicy things like that.” Applejack pointed a hoof at me.

“I agree. What your describing is impossible Pegasi can’t use magic.”

I rolled my eyes “Haven’t you been listening I told you it’s not magic. Anyone can do it, all it takes practice and training. And she’s been using it she doesn't realize it.”

Rainbow Dash was in the air immediately “WAIT that means you can teach to do stuff like that!” she motioned towards my hand. “AWSOME when do we start!!”

“Now hold on I never said I’d teach you hell that’d may as well drop a death charge in the time stream.” Rainbow seemed sat on her haunches and looked at her hooves. Oh man can’t just get her hopes up crush them like that. “You know what? I’ll ask the supreme kai and if she say’s its ok then ill teach you.” Rainbow Dash shot her hoof up in the air ecstatically.

“AWWW YEAH!!!” I chuckled at her enthusiasm. Then I turned back to Celestia.

“That is of course if you don’t mind either your majesty.”

Celestia held a contemplative look before answering “While I am against such destructive teaching I suppose if things are as dire as you say they are then I suspect she may need those abilities later. So you may teach her if your Kai approves but I will require there be a supervisor.”

“Very well then I will contact the supreme Kai give me a moment.” With that I stepped out of the room. I attempted to contact her telepathically. Hello Supreme Kai one of the residents the one called Rainbow Dash wishes to learn how to channel Ki I told her if it was ok with you I’d train her. For a long moment there was silence. Before she contacted me.

The adorable pout got you didn’t it.

I have no idea what your talking about. I chuckled because it was true a depressed pony was hard to look at.

To be perfectly honest with you Ice as I’m looking at the eternity scroll their future has already been distorted beyond repair and we still haven’t found the cause. It is likely going to be multiple incidents, so I’m giving you the go ahead and train her whatever you’re about to face will like endanger them all. So train her well.

Celestia looked over to Applejack and motioned her to step outside. Applejack followed immediately.

Leaving the Saiyan and elements to chat.

“Applejack for the life of me I have seen no lie in their words. So I plead with you have you found anything false in their claims.”

“Well Princess ah can’t say that I have. Everything they’ve said was the honest to goodness truth.”

“I was afraid of that.”

Applejack raised her an eye brow. “Why’s that Princess”

“Because it means that we will be facing extreme danger in the near future.” Celestia turned and walked back inside the dining room, Applejack in tow. Just in time to see Ice walking in as well.

“The supreme Kai approves and thinks it may be vital keeping your future in check.” Ice said sitting back down in his char.

“WOOHOO That’s what I’m talkin bout!!” Raibow Dash excitedly exclaimed.

“Now then I’d like to start your training immediately will you be free tomorrow?”

“Yeah I’m off for the week anyway. So when you want to meet up?”

“Sunrise tomorrow ill wake you up and we’ll begin.”

The rest of the evening went by uneventful as Rainbow Dash’s thoughts were on her training the next day. And everypony else began asking more mundane questions. Twilight and the princesses were more interested in their abilities. Soon enough they retired for the night.

Up above the clouds a figure looked down on the castle.

“Soon very soon…”

Hello i'm just gonna clarify a few things. I am using using mostly xenoverse and from what i can find online for information regarding origins of the races. YES I CHANGED THE SAIYAN ORIGIN sue me. I wanted to give them a more noble background than just barbarian monkeys. I also gave a non cannon insight to the Arcosian race. (which was never confirmed or denied to be the Frieza Race, but really why would anyone actually call them that in a real world setting. I mean really Frieza had a father why wasn't it called King Cold's race. So I'm going with Arcosian being the race name and Frieza clan being one faction.) And yes I'm aware you can't go SSJ3 in xenoverse just another thing i disagreed with about the game. Could've made a wig of it at least.

Ch. 3

Rainbow dash was asleep in the Canterlot guest chambers. She is currently in the fetal position hugging and drooling on a pony sized pillow. Myself and Tine looking at her wondering how best to approach the subject.

“Should we let her sleep? I don’t feel right waking her she’s probably not used to waking up this early if the accounts from last night are any indication.” I asked. That and she’s absolutely adorable like that.

“As cute as she is sleeping, if she wants to train with warriors then she’ll have to act like one.” Tine picked up the mare and placed over her shoulder. We left the room heading for the guards training grounds.

“huh… what’…. Goin on..” Rainbow slurred rousing from her sleep.

“Training remember. You wanted to fight like us so we’re going to train you that means waking up early.” Rainbow seemed to process this. Before realizing she was draped over Tine’s shoulder.

“HEY!!! PUT ME DOWN!! I can walk you know.” Tine let the mare down.

We reached the training soon enough there were a few night guards still posted to keep an eye on us. In the center was a pit used for sparring to its direct left were training dummies for target practice. The rest of it seemed mostly barren except for a few obstacle courses.

“Why is the sun not out yet?” Rainbow asked looking the still darkened sky.

“Because it’s six am.” I replied nonchalantly.

“WHAT!? You woke me up AT SIX!?” Rainbow shouted, me and Tine looked gave her a deadpan look.

“You said and I quote ‘Anytime and anywhere’ when we asked you when you’d be available for training.” I explained. She immediately deflated.

“I thought you’d at least wait a little bit to u know settle in and everything.” This caused us both to roar in laughter at the poor mare.

“No matter time or place there is always time for training to be a warrior one must be ready to fight at all times.” Tine explained “Now this will be your one and only chance to leave. Once we start training there is no going back, if you try to leave we will drag you back by force.”

Rainbow Dash gulped and looked at the both of them. She recalled their stories and the many battles they’ve been in. She didn’t think about it at the time of her request but now when she thought about it. The kind of training these two had to go through was grueling to say the least and now they offered the same training to her.

Rainbow Dash took a deep breath then locked eyes with us. Her eyes held a distinct determination that she wanted to improve no matter the cost. “Well, let’s get started already!”

Tine pulled out her capsule holder and removed a capsule labeled 3. She pushed the top button and tossed it into the training pit. A large puff of pink smoke later and plat form took most of the center. The platform had a small podium with switches and nobs off to the right of a set of steps. The platform itself was padded like that you would find in a martial arts gym.

“This a portable training platform designed by Trunks Brief, the plat form can reach up to 1000 times earths normal gravity.” I looked at the mare who was still gawking at the random appearance of a training mat. I snapped my fingers to get her attention. “Now Training will move in a three different sections. Each section will be done daily and will last now longer than 2 hours. Depending on your progress daily plans and overall physical exhaustion. All training will take place on the mat. The first phase will be physical endurance and stamina. Also before we start I want to examine your physical structure and see what areas need the most improvement.” With warning Tine picked up Rainbow Dash and threw to the mat.

“HEY what’s the big idea!” She protested. I jump onto the mat next to her.

“Fair warning this going to get awkward for you quick.” I placed one hand on her head and held her down as she threw her hooves and wings around trying to fight me. “Hold still you, I’m examining your muscle structure.” She stopped flailing (not with out grumbling mind you) and allowed me to do the work. I ran my hand down her side stopping and moving down each limb thoroughly examining them. Her muscles stiffened when I got to her wings. Which unsurprisingly were obviously the strongest in her body. I quickly released her and she stood up, shaking herself to straighten her fur and feathers. She gave me the stink eye and I just shrugged it off. “Your wing muscles are the strongest muscles you have, no surprise there given what you shared with us last night. However what is surprising is your chest, withers, and for leg muscles, they are surprisingly conditioned for jabbing, striking and guarding. Why is that?”

Rainbow Dash puffed out her chest in pride. “I didn’t mention it last night but I got a black belt in karate. And I still keep up my practices even though I’m training to be in the wonder bolts.”

“Ok good to know. Now then.” I looked over at tine was by the controls. “Tine set us up for times five. I think the gravity here is weaker than earths so I don’t want to start her off at ten. Just yet.”

“Hey I thought you said this thing could go up to a thousand.” Rainbow cut in.

“You’ll get there but for now we’ll start you off slow you should be at ten by the end of the week if we keep up training. Oh and tine make sure the field extends the entire training and high enough to encompass flight.”

“You got it.” Tine started flipping switches and turning dials. In an instance the gravity around the whole graining ground intensified.

It came as no shock that intensified gravity affected the guards, they were struggling to keep upright. However what was shocking was that rainbow dash didn’t even notice. “Hmmm interesting, wait a moment.” Rainbow nodded. And I jumped over to the guards. “You two might wana step back to the door way you can observe from there and the intense gravity shouldn’t affect you.” The guards looked at me then back to each other before walking back to the door way. I made my way back to Rainbow dash. “Ok Rainbow I’m assuming you need to be flying or hovering in order to perform Karate based on your muscle structure so throughout these exercises you will not touch the ground. At all.”

Rainbow smirked at me “Hah easy!” She took off and started hovering, very easily in fact.

“Good now then let’s push that limit.” I turned to Tine “OK up it to ten.” Rainbow’s smirk disappeared entirely. Tine however laughed maniacally when she upped the gravity setting. The results were immediate Rainbow’s wings started flapping harder barely keeping herself up, and she was sweating like she trying to carry a piano.

I walked up to the mare. “Now your goal is to catch me.” I ran to the opposite side of the yard. Rainbow just gawked at my speed.

“That’s insane!! EVEN I couldn’t see you.” She remained hovering.

I smirked “Wana get to our level takes striking degree of insanity, now come and get me.” with no more words Rainbow took off at a snail’s pace trying to chase me down.

The mane six (minus Rainbow) as well as the princesses were in the dining hall for breakfast.

Twilight spoke up first. “Has anypony seen Rainbow I know she likes to sleep in but she’ll miss breakfast if she doesn’t get up soon.”

“She has actually been training with our new friends since early this morning though I thought they’d be done by now.” Luna said drinking some coffee from her mug.

“What but I wanted examine their techniques and see how they perform magic like they do. I’m gonna go take a look.” She got up and was about to leave before Applejack stopped her.

“No offense sugar cube but didn’t they say that they didn’t use magic.” Twilight rolled her eyes.

“Just because they claim it’s not magic doesn’t mean it isn’t. I mean what else could it be all the techniques and other things they described just isn’t scientifically possible without magic. And didn't they say some cultures called their 'Ki' soul magic.”

“Well s’cuse me but they seemed to know what they were talkin bout last night. And if you’re right then why’d you let Rainbow Dash train with them if you knew she wouldn’t be able use any of them techniques.”

Twilight sighed. “Look we all know how Rainbow can get-“her tirade was cut short when the doors to the dining room opened. Tine, Ice and very exhausted looking Rainbow dash wobbled in. The group watched as the three of them made their way to the table. Tine sat next to Luna again while Ice sat at the other end with Rainbow.

“RAINBOW!!! Don’t you have the decency to at least shower before you greet the princesses.” Rarity Chided. Rainbow was about to retort but Ice put his hand up, stopping her.

“That’s my fault Rarity we got so focused on training we forgot the time. And right now Rainbow needs sustenance more than anything else.” Ice said and Rainbow nodded before she started eating a fruit salad.

“Besides after spending three hours in times ten normal gravity, I would think anypony would deserve an alibi.” Luna added.

“WHAT!?” Twilight screamed “Now I know it’s magic there’s no way your Ki or whatever can influence gravity!” Ice looked at twilight, he’d raise an eyebrow if he had any.

“Actually its science an invention created by Trunks Brief one of our top developers in Toki Toki City.” Ice commented much to Twilights dismay. “We can set up the device again later on when start Ki training.”

“My guards witnessed this device and told of its effects the force it exerted on them almost made them collapse at what was it times five?” Ice nodded prompting Luna to continue. “They had to move outside of its range just before they claimed you rose the gravity to times ten am I right?”

Ice laughed “Yes and we actually got it to times twelve before we concluded training.”

Rainbow dropped her fork “WHAT!! You were raising the gravity while I was training!!”

Ice chuckled sheepishly “Oops wasn’t supposed to tell you that but yes that’s how training will be from now on. Once either of us feel it’s time to improve the training we will up the weight. And in these early stages we are testing your limits to see what you can handle. Don't worry we won't push you to point of death. Not yet anyway.” The group gasped and glared at Ice.

Rainbow shook her head “What have I gotten myself into?” she asked under her breath.

“You can’t be serious about pushing her that far can you?” Rarity asked now worried for her friends safety.

Ice just looked at her. With what they thought was a sad expression. “We go through great lengths and trials to become what we are. To reach what some call an inhuman level one must sacrifice a lot and constantly prove not only to others but to yourself as well that you’re up to the task. Keep in mind however that races such as ours have an innate advantage as we have the ability to transcend our limits by modifying our bodies. Saiyans muscle structure is extremely dense and capable housing massive strength in the smallest of muscles. Once their ki reaches certain level through training and dire circumstances their body’s change to that what is called a super saiyan. There are four levels of the super saiyan, Tine has reached up to level three.” He paused gauging everyone’s reactions. “My race the Arcosians are able change and adapt to our environment this makes our bodies extremely strong and flexible. We can naturally hold more ki than any other race besides the Majins. Who for all intents and purposes truly have no limit in ki gathering, however the Majins are also physically weaker than most races. Essentially it stands to reason that those who can alter their bodies willfully are more prone to reaching greater heights than others. It is not impossible just harder for those who can’t change their bodies. Which by the way.” Ice reached over plucked a hair from Rainbow who was gorging on a water melon.

Rainbow coughed and choked before yelling “HEY!!”

“Sorry just running some tests.” Rainbow grumbled and went back to her food. Ice pulled out a small device and placed the hair inside. A small screen appeared with information that Ice was reading intently. Twilight the most curious walked over and examined the screen.

“What are you doing?” She asked eyes not leaving the screen. She couldn’t read the language. But knew it was scanning for something.

“I’m scanning her DNA for mutation markers that signify an ability to change like myself or Tine.” Ice stated not looking at her.

Twilight just scoffed “Why not just ask. I mean I know as much about pony physiology as our top doctors and believe me ponies can’t transform. At least not without magic.” She added the last sentence with a confident smirk.

Tine interjected with a bitter tone. “Just because something is unheard of doesn’t mean it’s impossible. For a thousand years the rank of super saiyan was just a myth and sure enough after we learned what truly triggers the super saiyan state not only did we have every live saiyan turn super but also we found stages beyond being what’s known as saiyans, two, three and four. And in my time we had doctors just like you who said it was impossible.”

Twilight had had enough “UGH!! NO! Ponies CAN’T transform! YOU use magic not some make believe soul energy.” Twilight huffed and was about storm off until Tine responded.

“Then how about we show you full well what we can do.” Twilight turned around slowly and looked at her questioningly. “Let’s go to the court yard and we’ll show you.”

“That’s a splendid idea.” Celestia said now voicing her opinion on the matter. “After all the mention of both your deeds and the deeds of your companions I would like to know better what you are capable of and what that may say about our enemies.”

“Aww yeah I gota see this.” Rainbow dash shouted her energy miraculously recovered.

Ice sighed “Alright then let’s go”

Once at the courtyard Tine stood away from the group getting ready to start. She smirked at the group that was watching with bated breaths “Stop me if you’ve heard this one. What you are seeing now is my normal form” In a quick flash her once deep magenta hair now bright blond and with blue eyes. They also noticed the glowing gold aura around her. “This is a super saiyan.” There was a loud pop and her long hair started spiking upward taking on almost metallic gold as well there seemed to be static electricity coursing around her. This caused many manes to frizz up and Rarity was the only one fussing over it. “This is a super saiyan that’s ascended beyond a super saiyan or super saiyan two for short. And this” Tine suddenly began screaming at the top of her lungs the ground began shaking, bits of the land started to rise and lightning crackled around her. She kept screaming and everypony looked on in amazement as her already long hair started to grow even longer touching the ground behind her. Her Eyebrows disappeared as her forehead jutted out making her look menacing. There was a loud pop, the ground stopped shaking and her aura faded but bits of electricity crackled around her. “is a super saiyan three.”

Everypony stood there stunned, mixtures of shock and fear ran through their faces. Until Pinkie Pie popped out of the saiyan’s hair “WOW That’s super Amazorific, with glowing and the lightning and the shaking oh and the ground breaking was just AWASOME.” The saiyan giggled and scratched the party pony behind the ear.

Twilight was dumbfounded “That’s… impossible… You.. You can’t, YOU HAD to use magic. I’ll figure out how you did it. I just know it.” She was about to start again when Celestia glared at her with a disapproving frown.

“Twilight Sparkle I am surprised at you they are showing irrefutable evidence to back up their claim you are denying it simply because we have not heard of it before. I have been running a magical scan this entire time and haven’t found a sliver escaping her. Whatever power they harness it is not magic. And because of your arrogance I am ordering sit in on their training with Rainbow Dash to learn exactly how it is possible for them use such powers without magic.”

Twilight wilted stared up at her mentor “y-yes princess” She conceded. And Princess Celestia walked back inside without another word.

Tine turned back to normal and looked at Twilight with sympathy “Sorry didn’t mean to get you in trouble.” Twilight waved her hoof.

“No it’s completely my fault I always get so worked about things I don’t understand it. But this does give me a good opportunity actually try and learn it for myself at least.” A loud beeping noise interrupted their conversation. They turned to look at Ice who had pulled out the same device as earlier. He walked over and showed the device to Twilight.

“According to this ponies can transform and if I’m right Rainbow dash just needs to increase her ki to move on the next form.” Twilight looked at the device in shock then looked back at Rainbow Dash who was acting ecstatic about everything It’s all too fast she thought before turning and heading in after the rest.

Before people start blowing me up on this i understand Gt is not Cannon however Pan is my favorite character and super saiyan 4 is badass.
