"Happy Sweet 16th, Azula!" Blurred images of people cheering and smiling swirled around my head. I felt light, like I could leap up into the air fly without wings. I can see my brother perfectly, his forest green eyes shining with light as he placed something around my head. A necklace? I see my father just as clearly, roaring with laughter as he light up every candle on the chandelier with a violet haze. My brother pulled me into his embrace, filling me with joy that I have never felt before. Then, darkness overtook us. Cries of fear filled the once joyous room as the coldness swept in. Pain stabbed me behind my back and my brothers cries of worry called to me. Now I wake in a sort of cell, resting on a bed in a tattered navy blue dress, the necklace that I once had was gone. I peeked out of my cell window to see a clear night, the sky filled with stars millions of miles away from here, and the moon reflecting off the pond in a garden. The pain in my back was gone but I don't remember seeing this type of garden before. What happened to me?
A guard burst through the doors of the Royal Sisters throne room and bowed before the Princess of the Night.
"Your Highness, I am here to tell you that she has awoken." The Night Princess nodded before giving orders to the guards in the room.
"Thank you General. Give her plenty of food to build up her energy but do not say a thing of her whereabouts. I will be down there in a half hour." The General nodded and ran back the way he came. The Princess turned to the guards to the east of her. "Send out a letter to Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Amour about the news" The guards simply nodded and left before she turned to the West. "Inform my sister about the news at once. This may be our only chance to bring back good permanently to the Empire."
