The Guardians, The New Beginning

        I was lying on the ground with my eyes closed. I could feel, I took a big breath and I suddenly noticed that it is different. I opened my eyes and I saw the sun shinning into my face. I closed and opened my eyes for a while. Was this a dream, I could not remember what happened earlier. Then it suddenly hit me.

I will take a pause from this story to tell you who am I. My name is Tomas Kowalski and I was 12 years old at that time.  This is the first part of a really (and I mean really) long story. I have short brown hair and blue eyes. I wear black-red glasses. On that day I had jeans, a green t-shirt, a blue jumper and a red jacket. I am an intelligent person, I am good at leading ,but like every person I have my flaws. I am a little bit shy and like to be noticed. I also have this thing that I tell everybody what to do even though they know what to do. I am from Poland I can speak English very easily and a little French. I am sorry if I make sentence or story build mistakes as this is my first story.

Then it suddenly came to me. I reminded myself that the last thing that i saw where the lights of a car. It was my first day of vacations. I was sad the school year ended. I also reminded myself about my parents and what I have done in life. I felt terrible and started to cry because I would never see my parents again. Also I was stranded in an unknown place, with no idea what to do, which made me feel afraid, I had similar thoughts for a while, but then I decided that I need to get my self together and start exploring.

I stood up. At first I felt a little dizzy but then I started to feel better. I looked around to see what is this place. On the left and on the right there where apple trees. I must have been on a farm because the road was going to a big, red barn. Then I looked in the other way. I seen a town the other way. It was unlike any other town. It had farm-looking houses. Then I noticed that my backpack was lying on the grass. I quickly run up to it and opened it. In the backpack there where a few things: all the parts of Harry Potter, one set of pajamas and another pair of glasses, and (good that it was there) a full water bottle. The first two things could not help me, the third thing was useful (because it is water right).

I still had no idea what to do. It was a new place and it was not Poland definitely. What if, it was not even a place on Earth? Should I go to the village or to the barn or into the orchard. I thought about it for a while and decided that I will stay here because I could get lost.

Then suddenly I heard a strange sound like hooves of a horse stomping on the ground and a voice saying. "Summer Sun Celebration official overseers checklist."

The noise came closer and closer and I saw them. Yes, you read right, them. A purple horse and a horn on its head. She was lower than me, it also had a double colored mane. The other one looked like a green-purple dragon standing on two legs. I was so scared that I couldn't run away. I just stood there hoping that they will not hurt me. Both of them noticed me and they started to scream. What intrigued me the most is that they didn't run away.

After a few seconds I decided that i should ask the question. The problem was what language should I ask the question with: Polish, English or French. In the end I decided that English is the most popular language so this was the language I would use.

"Who are you?" I asked. The mare was looking curiously and surprised. It seemed that she understood what I have said. She was also probably wondering should she trust me or not. In the end she decided that I am trustworthy.

"My name is Twilight Sparkle," she started to answer in English and pointing on the dragon she continued "and this is my assistant, Spike.  Who are you?"

Without hesitation I said. "My name is Jack Kowalski and I am a human" I decided that saying who am I would be the right thing to do

Twilight said something to Spike that I didn't hear. "I never seen anyone like you," she replied, "How did you get here?"

"I think that I died and somehow appeared here. There isn't more to this than that" then I asked five questions that bugged me the most. "Who are you exactly, what is this place, what kind of people live here, who rules the land, could I come with you?"

"I will mix the answers to those questions to make my answer easier." she began. "You are in Equestria, a land where ponies live. Ponies are just like me. There are three different races that live together in harmony. The Earth Ponies, don't have horns or wings, but they have great physical strength. They usually work on farms and carry things. Some of them are in the royal guard. The second race is the Unicorns. I am a unicorn. They have magical abilities that allow them to do anything from carrying things to teleporting. They are also in the guard. Some of them make up the high society ponies of Canterlot, the capital of Equestria. The third race is the Pegasi. They have wings and can fly. The greatest flyers of Equestria and the elite guards, the Wonderbolts, are pegasi. They can control the weather by moving the clouds. Only they can walk on clouds without the use of magic. The rulers of this land are alicorns.. There is only one alicorn and it is Princess Celestia. A thousand years ago there was another one named Luna but she transformed into Nightmare Moon ad got banished to the moon. She may escape from it on the longest day witch is the Summer Sun Celebration. Alicorns are strong, can use magic and fly. Now to answer your second question we are in Ponyville, a place where the Summer Sun Celebration will be held. On that day Celestia raises the sun in a really special way. I think you could come as long as you wouldn't cause any trouble. I think there are two beds in the library." then she added. "Come on now we need to complete the list, pronto!"

So we started to go in the mean time Spike started to say. "My name is Spike. I am a baby dragon and Twilights assistant."

I replied. "We are going to be good friends, Spike"

For the rest of the journey Spike told me about something that is called hoofball. I said we have a similar sport in our world called football. He told me the rules of the game and that he collects hoofball cards. I also learned about a different game it had different historical characters on cards. I didn't hear all the rules of it because Twilight asked.

"Spike, what is the first thing to do for the Summer Sun Celebration?"

Spike took out a very important-looking piece of paper and read.
