The Driverby TheCanandianBrony02ChaptersThe Road To A New LifeOur New HomeThe EveningThe Road To A New LifeMy alarm went off at 7:30 AM today, which is Saturday. My kind of day. I lazily forced my brain to wake up, jumped out of my bed, stretched, popping a few joints into place within the process, and got dressed. Today I wore a light blue dress shirt, with black cuffs along the sleeves. I slipped on a pair of black jeans, a black fedora, and a pair of my grandfather's old 2001 Serengeti sunglasses. I loved these sunglasses, having quite the modern look, but let me intrudes myself. My name is Mark Magmas, a fellow highschooler at Kennedy High, located in Beautiful British Columbia, Langley, my birthplace. Currently I am 18 years of age, with short dark brown hair, with a tinge of black hidden in my locks of hair. I am also a Latin/Asian mix, and I know very little Spanish. I am also known as a Brony, a male or female adult who loves My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I started watching the show scene 2013, up to this year, 2015, up to the ending of Season 4. I even have my collection of fan art from many artists. Back to the present, I walked downstairs, into the main hallway, making my way towards the garage. I take out my keys to unlock the garage door. I twist the key, and open the door, turning on the lights, revealing my car. A 1974 Javelin AMX, The same model that my dad once had. I received it on my 15th birthday from my father, as a project for me to work on in my spare time, which I had quite a bit. After three years of buying, building, and painting, I had my own car the use. I was quite picky on the paint, so I went with a sky-blue paint job, black for the secondary colour. Moving along to the interior, I gave it a black and blue leather interior, blue for the sticking, done by yours Truly. Towards the engine bay, I replaced the piece of crap engine, and gave it a 1964 AC 427 Cobra engine, along with a bi-turbo, producing an impressive 590BHP. I open the driver side door, throwing my backpack into the back, and sat in the driver seat. I take out the keys, and start the car. I close my eyes and let the soothing, aggressive rumble of American Muscle pleasuring me. After a few seconds of letting the engine heat up, I shift into first, and roll off into the early morning. For the past few hours, I just drove. I just love the feeling, the open road, and powerful car to play around with. I began to tease the throttle, letting the car slowly reach 100 km/h, before flooring it. The car became a blur to anyone who would stand by the road. I shifted into my final gear, topping at 350 km/h. The beautiful mountains were a silhouette at my angle at view, the brilliant sun, an orange ball of fiery glory. I turn my attention to the road ahead, when a strange, purple light began to form in front of the car. I began to panic before the light began to engulf the car, blinding my vision in the process. Purple lightning soon began to dance around the car. The scene around me began to melt before me, shifting into different shades of colours. I felt the car suddenly land with a big thump, shaking me out of my trance. I begin to realize that I am no longer on a paved road, but rather of a cobblestone. I slam the brakes, earning a loud screeching noise of rubber. The car rocks back and forth from the sudden stop, with the occasional flicker of lightning dancing around the car. I begin to further look around my surroundings, learning a few things. I am no longer in BC/Canada I am in a forest There is no sign of civilization in sight I then begin to realize that a few things had changed about me. One of them is that I am some sort of human-pony hybrid. I have the physical physic of a male human, but have obtained the attributes of a pony. My hair is now a deep blue along with the occasional streaks of orange in my hair. I also have....…Light blue skin? Or coat? I don't know, really. I also have a small goatee beard, with adds on to my macho. I study my facial features in my rear-view mirror, also noticing a few differences. I now have a deep, sunset orange eyes now. I also have a more re-defined jawline than before, making me look more macho. I turned the car back on, once again letting the engine heat-up, driving down the cobblestone road. For a few minutes, I drove until I came across a sign. Pulling over, I looked at disbelief at the sign. Could it be true? Could I be really here? I stepped closer to the sign, looking over all the details. Seems right, for the sign that stood before me said: Ponyville. I headed back into my car, and drove off towards Ponyville, approximately 14.6 km away from here. I checked my gas, surprised to see that the meter has not gone down. Puzzled, I tapped the glass. Nothing changed. Shrugging, I look back at the road to see a figure slumped over. I slow down, open the door and walked over to the figure. Upon closer inspection, I realize that this is Gilda, from 'Griffon the Brush-Off. She was wearing a black leather jacket with small metal studs poking out of the shoulders, along with a pair of aviators. She wore shorty shorts as well, which made her dam sexy. What? I know, most people hate Gilda because of her attitude, that she can be a bitch, but she looked cute. I shifted my arms under her back and thighs, and lifted her into the car. I strapped on her seat belt, and continued my drive towards Ponyville. I began to hear Gilda shift in her seat, groaning ever so now and then. Stopping the car I turn off the engine and wait. She began to kick around the car, in rage and fear. I quickly unstrap her seat belt, pushing her slightly out of the car. She lands with a thump, waking her up instantly. And boy was she ANGRY. "WHO THE BUCK PUSHED ME, IM GOING TO TEAR YOU APART, DWEEB!!" Gilda roared in anger as she started throwing a tantrum. Sighing to myself, I interrupt by clearing my throat. "Well, it was me who saved your ass back there, Gilda." I stated as calmly as I could, surpressing my laugh to Gilda's childish tantrum. Gilda turned towards me, with a bloodlust look in her eyes, like a bull to a red cape. She charges, screaming and roaring as she got closer and closer. I look at my watch, yawning until she is a few meters away from me. When she is about to throw a punch at my beautiful face, I side step, and trip her in the process. Gild, surprised by my sudden movement, falls face first on the dirt. I also forgot to mention that I also do Karate. I began be in 2005, up to where I am am a Second Degree Black Belt. I laugh at the sight, falling over as I do. I laugh so hard that my diaphragm begins to hurt. After a few minutes of uncontrollable laughter, I sit up, walking toward Gilda, lending a hand to help Gilda up. Gilda mumbles a few unintelligent words, rubbing her face as I pull her up. "Sorry about that Gilda, but I had to snap you back to your senses." I replied sheepishly, rubbing the back of my neck. "Your pretty good at dodging me, pegasus. Not many ponies are able to dodge gryphons, and what do you mean 'save me'"? She answers, looking at me with a more calmer and civilized look. Wait, pegasus? I look towards my back, noticing two dark blue wings sticking out of my shirt. How did I not notice these? Looking back to Gilda, I explained how I was traveling when I found her on the side of the road. "Do you remember anything before waking up ?" I asked, leaning against a lone wooden fence pole, facing Gilda, who was sitting on the grass. "Well, I remember flying from" she pauses, making a face of disgust," Ponyville, when a large cloud formation began to form around the Everfree. I was pulled close by a strong gust of wind, when purple lightning began to spark in the eye of the storm, before blinding pain engulfed my consciousness." "Ok, I'm heading towards Ponyville right now." I state, walking towards the road, by my car. "Why? Ponyville is a crappy place, full of lame-o ponies." She answers angrily, grinding her teeth slightly. " It's ok, Im just going to stay a hotel, ok?" I answer. I make a jester to her to get into the car, at which she obliged. Starting the car, we pull off towards Ponyville, to my new life. Our New HomeThe drive was quite uneventful, as expected. Gilda was throwing question after question, at which I tried to answer my best. "So, where do you come from?" Gilda asked, brushing off some dirt from her jacket. "Well, I come from Canada." I state proudly, remembering all my childhood memories. Honestly, I don't really want to grieve for leaving my home world or universe, but I'm glad I'm here, to start my new life. A more exciting one. "What's Canada?" Well, this is were I become a historian, beginning of the pioneers from Britain claiming the land as their own, Maple Syrup, Moose, Wolves, Blah de blah, I don't really want to go into detail, but I basically explained the modern culture of my home country. Gilda just sat there, twiddling her feathers or fingers, like it was a history lesson, extremely boring, ja? Upon wrapping up my summary of Canada, we are halfway to Ponyville, about 7.3 km. We continued to chat about our personal lives, not wanting to explain my homeward to Gilda. I lift up my wrist, noticing that it was quite late. I spot a sign signifying that a campsite was near. I pull up the dirt trail, heading eastern into the forest. We pull up into an empty lot, surprising near by campers, surprised by the strange new machine. I hop out of the car, along with Gilda. I began to walk towards the boot of the car, when I remembered my pack in the backseat. I twist around, and headed back into the car. I move the seat to grab my backpack, when a long, metallic tube slid out. Curious, I opened the pack, and nearly jumped out of the car when I realize what I was holding. Within my grasp sat a 1900s era sawed-off shotgun, complete with artistic encryptions running down the barrel and handle. It looked very similar to the shotgun in the game Wolfeinstien: The Old Blood. I quickly put the gun down, and continued searching my pack. I find my grandparents sunglasses, my pack of gum, a few books about American culture and history, and some ammunition for the shotgun. I pack all the things back into the pack, except the gun. Always be prepared. I sling the pack on my left shoulder, with the shotgun on my right. Gilda, sitting on the boot, turns towards me. "Hey dweeb, what's that on your shoulder?" She points toward the gun, at which I hold. I move my fingers slowly across the barrel, feeling the carvings beneath my fingers. "This here is what I call my Boomstick, which fires multiple round sphere of steel at the speed of sound, at which properly used," I point the gun at her, placing my thumb on the trigger," could kill you." Gilda become to panic, at which I put the gun down. I gave her a goofy grin, at which she blew a rasp-berry at me. "Real mature Gilda, real mature." I said, placing the gun in my pack. I began to lower the seats into a flat position for makeshift beds. I took old blankets out of the boot I keep in case. I call Gilda over, who was gazing at the distant lights of Ponyville. No surprise, we sat at the peak of a large hill, not mountain. I called her over, giving her a blanket. We headed into the car, laying down in our seats, at a respectable distance. I turned off the interiors lights, and dosed off into a deep sleep. Morning came by as quickly as sleep had, surprising me. I stretch my arms, climbing out of my car. The brilliant sun hovered slightly about the northern mountains, giving the landscape a brilliant orange glow. You could get views like this back in Canada, but here, there was no pollution, no war, just harmony. I smiled at the sight. I walked towards Gilda, who was cooking up some breakfast, which smelled absolutely delicious. I walked up towards Gilda, giving her a thankful look, at which she nodded at. "So",I began, looking a t the small breakfast Gilda prepared, cooked eggs with a small dash of spice, a side of green beans."What business do you have in Ponyville?" Gilda looked at me with a pained look. After a few moments of silence, she began. "Well, I haven't seen my filly hood friend, Rainbow Dash, in a while. So I decided to visit, unknown that she had made a few new friends. When I first saw Dash with them, I felt replaced, like I was a thing of the past. I saw this, and became angry, jealous, etc. I was quite harsh, but now I realize my mistake." By now, Gilda was trying to hold in tears of guilt, but a few were falling down her cheeks. I steeped forward, and hugged her. Gilda was surprised by this. I moved my muzzle to her ear. "Hey, everyone makes mistakes, and it is a good thing that you recognized your mistake. You can become a better person, y'know? I'm here to help you if you need help, ok?" I whispered softly in her ear, rubbing the back of her head. Gilda nodded softly, and we broke away. After a few moments to recover, Gilda mouthed a 'thank you'. I nodded towards her, and continued eating breakfast. For a few hours, me and Gilda walked around the campsite, waving at fellow campers, who gave us stink eyes, which made me pissed. Was Equestrian racist to other races? I don't know, but I really hope I can help Gilda apologize to those who she hurt. After our little talk, Gilda looked more comfortable around me, like she knew me for a long time, an old friend. We continued to circle the campus, until we returned to the car. I began to pack things into the truck, while Gilda packed up our leftovers, and put them in the trash. When everything was set, we pulled out of our space, and headed back onto the main road, northern to Ponyville again. I began to spot a town up ahead, Ponyville to be exact, with techno coloured ponies, horrible building designs, you get the idea. We passed by Sweet Apple Acres, passing by the large red barn house. A small bridge stretched over a small river, about a few feet deep. The Javelin crossed over the bridge with ease, having a higher ride height than the wooden carts in the area. We soon began to pass symmetrical houses, stores, stalls as we continued to the centre of the town. It was actually quite nice, it had the cute charm of a small town, just like back at home. I got a little emotional at the thought, Gilda noticed this, and patted my shoulder, giving me a small smile. Her smile would wake my day. She is improving though. From a bitch, with a short temper, to an ordinary person, easy-going. We passed by The Carousel Boutique, The Market Place, etc. The Javelin got a few strange stares. Typical. I would of expected that, no one has ever seen a automated wan, except The Flim Flam Brothers Cider Squeezer 2000 or something. I turned left towards City Hall, where I parked the car in front of the porch. Me and Gilda go to of the car, and started walking toward the doors. Surrounding ponies gave Gilda disgusted looks, a few shouting at her. Gilda tried her best to look away, but no avail, she couldn't. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder, and gave her a sincere, but small smile, at which she blushed slightly. I opened the door for her. "Your royal highness, after you" I used my best british accent I could do, bowing down toward her, sweeping my hand towards the inside. She laughed at my actions, and she went along with the flow. "I thank thee, royal servant, for you shall be blessed with the gift of my friendship" She proceeded, giving me her best Celestia accent, which was spot on. I moved aside, letting Gilda walk in. We walked down the short hall, toward the office of the Mayor. I knocked on the door three times, before hearing a muffled 'come in'. Me and Guilda stepped inside the office, a surprise to the mayor visually. We took the two seats in front of her. "Why are you here in this town, Gilda? I thought you said that you wouldn't come back?" Mayor Mare stated with a small hint of anger within her voice. Gilda visibly tried to shrink, her face showing expressions of shame and guilt. I stand up and face the mayor. "Look, I know that Gilda has made a few mistakes here in the town, but I assure you that she has changed for the better for good. Now, I'm just looking for a house for two, by any chance do you have and in the market?" The mayor showed uneasiness, but nodded. She explained to us that there is a small but cozy hours on the northern side of town, by a small lake. We agreed on the house, having a basement is a plus. After a few forms and files, we paid around $500 for the house, which was $5.00 from my pocket. Basically, the value of a Canadian dollar to Equestrian bits were $100. We had no personal items, so we moved in right away. Thankfully, Pinkie Pie hadn't shown up to give us a welcome party, which was good, so Gilda was safe for now. For a few weeks, I bought prices of furniture for the house, kitchen ware, all the house basics. After after a month of getting used to the house, I heard a knock on the door. I was reading a documentary, so I stopped, and went to the door. When I opened it, I was met with the barrel of a bright blue cannot. Dammit. The Evening"Is Gilda here, I need to see her, i have some unfinished buisness with her." Pinkie spoke darkly as I steeped aside, alarmed by her antics. It seems that Pinkie has't forgiven Gilda about her actions, like, who would? I tapped Pinkie's shoulder, at Pinkie twisted her body around. She wore a bright blue top, a pair of pink sweat pants, and a pink and blue balloon that was a hairpin. "Umm, Pinkie Pie, was it? I need to talk to you, just for a while." I jestered to two armchairs that sat in front of a fire lace, surrounded by bookshelves. Nodding quicky, Pinkie bounced into one of the chairs, while I took the oppisite one. "My name is Mark, Mark Magmus to be exact. Now, Pinkie, I need you to understand that Gilda has made a few mistakes, big ones in fact. I need you to invite all the Elements to a private party at my house, at 5:00 in the afternoon, I will explain everything to everyone, and the will be cake." Pinkie Pie perked up at 'cake'. I stood up, shoo her hand, and guided her too the door as any gentleman would do. At about 2:30, I began to cook some dinner for the guests. At 3:00, I began to work on the car. It seems that the suspension springs have been rusting overtime. I began to take off the wheels, brakes, etc to access the springs. I had to cut the off due to having inaccurate tools. I had to buy a pile of rubber, metal, all the parts to construct the spring. By 4:30, I was nearly done, just to ajust the height and softness. I always love a soft ride, like my mom's Mercedes Benz Cl 500. I was nearly done reattaching to wheels when to door bell rang. I pulled myself from my work, and walked toward the door. I unlocked the door with a small click, and opened it. Six young adults stood before me, the Elements of Harmony to be exact. At the head of the pack was Twightlight Sparkle, standing at 5'3, outfitted with a purple sundress, pink skirt, a backpack filled with, guess what? Books! And to top it off, a pair of dark purple shoes. To her left, stood Applejack, standing at 5'10, while I stood at 6'4. she wore her trademark Steston hat, while wearing a yellow plaid top, with old shortly short jeans, and cowgirl boots. To her left was Fluttershy, standing at 5'5, wearing a large green turtleneck sweater, green pants, a pink sandles. Rarity wore a large white dress, standing at 5'6, with a pink bow in her hair, and she was wearing purple sparkling glass high heels. Rainbow dash wore a small blue top, standing at 5'9, with sports shorts to go with. She also wore red runners, and had her hair in a ponytail. Pinkie Pie wore the same outfit as before. "Ah, please do come in, I have cake prepared and diner, please, make yourself comfortable." I said, leading them to the living room, having a couch and an extra six chairs out. Each of the girls took a seat, in the chairs. I asked them to wait her, and headed upstairs. I walked down to the end of the hallway, where Gilda's bedroom was. Me and Gilda had our own bedrooms, because we weren't certain that we could share a room with each other, now that we took a intrest in one another. I walked into her bedroom, opening it slowly, not wanting to disturb her in her sleep. I prodded her shoulder. "Gilda, the guests are here." I whispered in her ear. She immediately shot up, eyes wide open in panic. "What?! I don't know what to say to them, or what to do, I don't know how to-" I pulled her towards me and kissed her passionately. Gilda's eyes slowly closed. We stayed there for who knows how long, breaking for a breath of air, We walked to the dining room, where everyone had finished eating. "While I go clean the dishes, how about you girls talk for a bit?" I said, taking all the plates and leftovers, Gilda giving me a dirty look. Gilda faced the six girls, giving them a forgiving look. Rainbow walked up towards her, and slapped her. "I HATE YOU!! YOU ARE A SICK PERSON TO COME BACK HERE! YOU HURT EVERYONE BECAUSE YOU THINK WE AREN"T COOL?!!" The girls audibly gasped as Rainbow threw Gilda against the wall. I stopped washing the dishes, and walked into the living room. I felt my anger grow as Gilda was being destroyed by Rainbow, who threw punch after punch. "HEY!!" I yelled, charging after Rainbow Dash, who looked over at me with a fire in her eyes. I grew a right hook into her face, throwing her off Gilda. She crashed into the wall, while I tended to Gilda. She had a bruise over her right eye, a scratch mark on her left cheek, blood flowing from the wound. I face Rainbow Dash, who began to recover from the blow. Before she could react, I grabbed her neck, lifted her up from the ground until her head touched the ceiling. "Listen to me very closely, bitch. If you ever EVER fuck with Gilda ever again, I will murder you in your sleep, rip out your eyeballs, cook your organs, denigrate your body until all thats left of you is bones charged to black. I am not to be fucked with, you understand?" I tighten my grip, waiting for her to answer. She nods, and I let her go. She collapse onto the ground, grasping her neck. The six girls shoot me dirty look, except for Flutters, who walked towards Rainbow, tending her, while I just growl at them. I lift Gilda up wedding style, placing her in her room. I walk back downstairs, where the girls walk towards the front door. "Wait" The girls immediate stop. I point to the couch where the girls began to sit down. I pull a chair from the dining set, and face them. "Now, I know that you girls are all upset about what I did, but Rainbow Ass was the one who attacked first." I said, pointing to the black eyed Rainbow who was tended by Fluttershy."I put family before friends, and Gilda is my only family now. I guess you could say the we are boyfriend/girlfriend now. Twilight, could you follow me to the garage? I need to show you something, it's important." Twilight gave me a skeptical look, but nodded. I sat up and guided her to the garage. I opened the door, revealing the Javelin. Twilights eyes began to widen as her eyes scanned the car, hungry for knowledge. I knew that look, so i lightly slapped her hand. She immediately shook out of her trance. "Sorry, its just that i have never seen such a complex carriage before here in Equestria. Did you build it?" I nod. For the past few minutes, I go over the basic deign of the engine, suspension, etc. It was quite shocking for Twilight, discovering a new type of transportation. I lead her back to the dining area, where everyone was chatting. Upon my arrival, they become silent. Twilight walked back to the group, where they huddled into a circle, whispering. After a few minutes, they finally broke up, facing me. Twilight stepped forward. "The girls and I have decided that we accept your apology, and sorry for Rainbow's behaviour. I hope that we can become friends in the future." I nod silently. I point to the door, giving them silent goodbyes. After they leave, I heart Gilda's room , and hop in her bed. I wrap my arms around her abdomen. "Mark?" I heard Gilda whisper softly, turning towards me" do you think everything is going to work out?" "I promise Gilda, I promise" I say, falling into the deep relm of sleep.

She answers angrily, grinding her teeth slightly.
