"Hi Twi." said Rainbow to Twilight when she went to get Twilight for their Valentine's Day.
"Hi Dashie." replied Twilight.
"Ready to go?" Rainbow asked, she was a bit nervous about her gift to Twilight.
"Sure." smiled Twilight and gave a hug to Rainbow.
"Then let's go!" said Dash happily.
Rainbow took Twilight's hand and they walked away from Twilight's castle. Rainbow put free hand to one pocket, to check that box with special necklace was still there. That was.
Rainbow felt Twilight placing her head on Dash's shoulder. Rainbow laid wing over Twi's shoulder.
They stopped at Bon Bon's Sweet Shop to buy some candy.
"Rainbow."
"Yeah?"
"Have you planned to go some where today?"
"Oh...I haven't thought about it. And every place is problably full. Sorry Twi..." said Rainbow, little embarassed.
"That's okay. We can go there." Twilight said as she pointed to tables behind one shop.
"And again, you save us with your smartness." smirked Dashie
Couple head to place Twilight pointed out. They sat behind tables and Dash gave a kiss on Twi's forehead.
They ate their candies and then Rainbow decided to give her gift.
"Twilight...I think it's time to you get your Valentine's Day present." said Rainbow Dash
"Oh you got me a present. That's so sweet of you."
Alright don't ruin everything now
Rainbow pulled that wooden box and gave it to Twilight. Twilight opened the box and gasped.
"That isn't what I think it is, right?" whispered Twilight.
"That is." said Rainbow and put that necklace over Twilight's head.
"I love you more than Wonderbolts, flying and myself together. I mean that you're whole universe to me. And you're more awesome than me. I want to be with you forever... Story's point is that I love you more than everything in the whole world. I just love you so much, Twily."
When Rainbow finished her story, she saw tears in Twilight's eyes.
"I love you too Rainbow," replied Twilight "And for your gift is something very special."
"Erm...I don't see that you should have brought any boxes with ya." was Rainbow confused.
"That's not visible."
"Alright..."
"You know I'm immortal as princess, right?" asked Twilight.
"I do..."
"I'm going to be mortal for you." said Twilight.
"What? You don't have to...I'm not worth so much." said Rainbow quietly.
"You are...And I don't wanna live forever if you will die. And that's why I went to Canterlot."
"You went to ask Celestia right?"
"Yes, she let me do it."
"Alright, do that then." said Rainbow who was very touched from it.
Twilight's horn started to glow and she floated in air. Then little white smoke strap came from Twilight. That process lasted about a minute and then she came back to ground.
"I didn't knew I mean so much to you. My gift is like nothing compared to this." said Rainbow and few tears ran down from her eyes.
"You're gift was amazing. I know that tradition of Pegasus kind. I know that too that four feathers show the biggest love there can be and you had four. And those were your primary feathers, right?"
"Yes they were. I looked for the perfect one's for a two weeks."
"And look, I'm happy as long you care about me."
Rainbow let few more tears fall and then said:
"I love you Twi."
"I love you too Dashie."
Then Rainbow pulled Twilight very close and pushed her lips on Twilight's. Twilight kissed back and put her arms around Dash's neck.
When they disjointed Rainbow said:
"Happy Valentine's Day, egghead." and smirked
"I'm not an egghead!"
"You're my egghead." smiled Dash.
It's almost Valentine's Day. The day to express your feelings to someone special. And as Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle were dating for a while, they both had planned something special.
Rainbow Dash landed front of Sugarcube Corner.
"Hi girls." she greeted others.
"Hi." replied Pinkie
"Where's Twi?" asked Applejack
"Had go to Canterlot for some princess thingy." said Rainbow and frowned a bit.
"You miss her, right? asked Pinkie
"I do. She has been gone only an hour and I want her to come back." said Dash.
"Sometimes I wonder how you two can be so much in love. You two are so different. You are athletic and she is...how to say it...a bookworm." said Applejack
"I wonder that too." smiled Rainbow.
"But what's more important...Do you have something planned for Valentine's?" asked Rarity, smirking.
"I do. That's the most special gift you can think." smiled Dashie.
"What is it?" asked Fluttershy curiously.
"Necklace with three feathers...My feathers to be exact." smirked Rainbow.
After that Fluttershy gasped and put hands on her mouth.
"What is it Fluttershy, Dear?" asked surprised Rarity.
"That's one of the oldest, Pegasus race Valentine's tradition. When you love someone very much and want to express this, you make necklace with your feathers. That shows ultimate love. Next step would be asking hand for marriage." explained Fluttershy.
"Wow I'm super excited for you." squeaked Pinkie.
"Ya know, Dash...from time ya found your feelings to Twilight, ya have been very lovin' and carin'." said Applejack.
"I know. But I don't care about it as long I'm with her." said Dash quietly.
