"HEJ Ben can you see anything?-Mason more shouted than anything else
"Well I see a lot of trees"-Ben responded by making a joke out of it
"Oh really no shit...agh I am getting tired from all this shit,SHIT! Especially from your shit Ben.Come down here"-Mason said with a grin on his face...
Ben did how he was told and got down of the tree that he was using to scout the area before saying:
"Mason I have an idea"
"What's that?"-you ask by performing the quickest reply ever...
"I know we agreed to go hunting but I truly dislike hunting while we use our abilities, it just makes it too easy and rips quite some fun out it"-Ben explained himself
"Yeah, I feel the same way...what do you thing we should do?"-Mason asks with a tone of frustration in his voice
"Well quitting is not an option sooo we can go gear up, get armed and do it in the old fashion way"-Ben answered with a tone of excitement in his voice
"That's a great idea, we can go back to my place since yours is too far away and + I have two outfits...one's gear I used to wear at hunting events and has a rifle as a main weapon, the other one is the military gear with an assault rifle,pistol and a ballistic knife both with plenty of ammo and it's not gonna be no problem wearing them since we have the same size"-Mason said
"Really? That's great I gonna take the military outfit"-Ben claimed
"WHAT? Are you nuts? I am gonna take my military outfit"-Mason responded
"it depends on who gets it first them"-was all what Ben said before starting to run
"You motherfucker...Come back here"-Mason shouted towards Ben's direction before starting to chase after him and after a while having a actual race going...
"Mason's Cottage...
"I WON MASON YOU LOSE""-Ben shouted with all that he had in his lungs towards what appeared to be nothing except the woods while he was standing in front of Mason's Cottage
"No I didn't"-a voice was head from behind followed by a door opening sound
Ben turned around just to see Mason wearing the outfit of his desires before saying:
"Aw hell no.How did you?"
"Shortcuts"-was the only answer Ben received from Mason
"God damn it, you sneaky son of a Bitch....well I guess I get the Hunter's outfit then"-Ben said accepting his defeat
15 minutes later...
Ben already geared and armed got out of cottage just to see Mason waiting for him in that uniform...that uniform...that uniform...
"God Mason just look at you...just like back in those days"-Ben said while cracking his voice in the end
"Awww Ben don't worry all's fine Ben all's fine"-Mason said while going in for a hug hoping to comfort his friend
Ben returned the hug and started to cry before saying between sobs:
"THOSE GOD DAMN DAYS MASON...THOSE GOD DAMN FUCKING DAYS...THOSE DAYS"-Ben now hugging Mason tightly
Mason could't believe how selfish he was to forget about Ben's traumas and being so stupid to not realize that he wanted that outfit just so he wouldn't have to see another one wearing it ever again, he couldn't forgive himself for doing that to him...he is all he's got and he was all Ben got too...WAR took too much from both of them...
"There there...all better?"-Mason said after Ben calmed down and broke the hug...
"I'm fine...this is the deal...we will split"-Ben got interrupted
"Ben"-was all Mason said before getting interrupted by Ben with a louder voice this time letting him know he didn't want to listen
"WHOEVER KILLS 2 PRAYS FIRST BEFORE SUNSET WINS"-Ben shouted
"Ben come on"-Mason started to say before Ben turned his back and shouted
"Mason go!"-Ben said with hurt in his voice
"Ben please"-Mason said trying to apologize
"MASON GO!!!"-Was the last thing Mason heard of Ben before he jumped away and disappeared in the woods
"I'm sorry"- Mason whispered to himself
Mason understood that Ben was still angry and sad so there was no point at following him...he truly felt sorry,he knew that Ben's pride took a hit and he couldn't face a conversation even if it was an apology...not knowing what to do he went hunting,maybe he could get the chance to talk to Ben later after he calmed down a bit...
1 hour later....
Nothing...nothing at all no animal around...
"I AM SO FUCKING BORED"-Mason shouted to nothing in particular before firing a burst of rounds
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
In that moment with the corner of the eye he say a rabbit running down some bushes
"Jackpot"-he said to himself
He followed the rabbit through the bushes just to see a cave that has so well hidden that he might been the one who discovered this cave but his mind was focused on the pray
"hehhehe no way out little one...come out wherever you are"-The cave was so dark that he could barely see...he could have used his abilities but that was cheating so Nope, he got deeper into the cave and became even darker...in that exact moment when he wanted to turn around and call it a lost pray he stepped on a rock that glowed a colorful circle around and disappeared in a fraction of the second
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?"-Mason shouted before checking himself if he was okay, nothing seemed to have changed...it was still dark...he finally got brave enough to walk forward and hit something hard that made a sound of metal...In that moment Mason didn't care about the hunting game anymore and used his vision just to see he was inside of a cell...his mind now processing everything in full speed, he moved to the bars to see what appeared to him like an entire abandoned prison...
"Were the fuck am I?In a medieval prison?Inside a cave?Was that flash just metal crashing with each other?"-Mason was talking to himself now and for a moment he felt safe because he knew he had the power to get out of whatever he felt into....he looked up...no hole...neither the sides...
"HEJ CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?"-Mason shouted but no respond and this place was creeping the fuck out of him
Without wasting any time he shot the lock with a burst of bullets...he could have punched it but whatever:
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Without hesitation he moved to the closest door he saw *BLOCKED* *KICK* *CRASH* then he found a lot of stairs in helical structure...Mason went a bit "auto pilot" so he didn't think much he just jumped in the middle leaving a crater behind him...he found another door and opened it, not expecting light he became blind for a second before removing his thermal vision...his jaw dropped at what he saw, A THRONE ROOM...still in auto pilot he didn't give any attention to the paintings or that the throne room wasn't an old dusted one that has been long forgotten and abandoned...he went to a pair of giant doors, his helmet preventing him from hearing well...
He opened the door and saw something he never even dreamed of...it looked human but different, it appeared to be female but in the same time as tall as him,it appeared to have hair but he wasn't sure what they were,It had eyes but very big eyes,a face he couldn't describe and only a pair of things he could name correctly: a horn and some wings...in this contact that lasted a millisecond was enough to make jump back and pull the trigger, luckily it was pointed in the air and fell with his head...
Everybody would have thought he was knocked out but he actually fainted in that moment...
Oww is gonna be a fun weakening...
Princess Luna was awoken by a night guard that claimed that there was a matter of great importance that acquired her presence A.S.A.P.
Luna woke up and got ready before ordering the night guard.
"Night guard report"-Luna said as firmly as she could.
"I was ordered by some solar guards to awake you,they were fully authorized to do so and all the information I could get from them was that there has been a new discovery, it will take you and other princesses to choose it's fate"-The night guard answered directly.
"I see...were am I needed?"-Luna asked.
"At the medical barracks your majesty"-The night guard answered shortly.
"So it's a living being?!"-Luna asked to no one in particular...formality gone*
"I am not informed your majesty...you may see for yourself"-The guard open a door that revealed Celestia talking to a doctor.
"What seems to be the trouble dear sister?"-Luna interrupted the conversation the doctor and Celestia were having only to see Celestia dismiss the doctor by moving her hand...
"Oh Luna I am so happy your here...I need your help,come"-Celestia said before pulling Luna in to another room that seemed more "protected" from the outside and inside it they had some decent privacy.
When Luna saw that thing laying on a medical branch she truly didn't know what to think of it but it was a soldier alright.
"Quick Luna he's having a dream I must see it"-Celestia more ordered than anything else.
Luna went to auto pilot too, there was just too much information coming in at the same time but she could still react and said:
"It's just a dream Tia and why do you need me for that?"
"It doesn't matter it might give us more information than the alien itself...I don't know why but it looks like more magic is required to enter it's dream,just take me with you,please"-Celestia said,not able to kill the curiosity that was burning inside of her...in the other hand Luna didn't say a word just did as she was told...
Mason's Dream
Basically a battle they had with the infected when Ben saved his life...
"WE GOT SNIPER SUPPORT,THIRD FLOOR...THE BUILDING IN 6 O'CLOCK"-a voice from distance.
"Hold the Line"-a shout .
"BASE THIS IS ACTUAL SIX... A HIVE JUST EXPLODED WE ARE SURROUNDED,NEED TO GAIN AIR DOMINANCE RIGHT FUCKING NOW"- a radioman calling.
"Luna what are those things?"-Celesatia asked shocked by the view but Luna didn't reply
"Someone get to that LAV right fucking now-another soldier.
"Friendly Fire...Friendly Fire...CHECK YOUR FIRE"-another soldier.
(LMV stated firing)
"Luna what is going on?"-Celestia asked and again receiving no answer.
Just for a second later to see one of the infected crashing a window from a building on the second floor...falling directly at one of the soldiers and started eating him.Both getting shot down a moment later.
"Luna which one is our alien?"-Celeastia asked still getting no answer.
(gunshots never stopping)
"Mason behind you"-a tired shout of one soldier was heard.
A what appeared to be as a random soldier turned around just to get knocked from above by an infected flyer...the "unlucky" soldier was now helpless and still in his claw had nothing to do...the flyer roared and the other soldier took the opportunity to throw a grenade in its's throat just to explode a moment later and helping the fallen soldier to get up.
"Brawler...BRAWLER!- one soldier announced.
"RPGs and grenade launchers FRONT...LAV Focused Fire"-an order from somewhere.
(explosions)
"Luna enough"-Celestia said broken.
The brawler got too near, striking and splitting into peaces two soldiers before standing up and what it looked like almost galloping another one but before it got the chance to attack again let's say that it took a missile in the face by attack chopper.
"The back up is here...Brawler down,Yeahhhhh..."-one of soldiers celebrated.
"LUNA ENOUGH"-Celestia reached the Royal Canterlot voice, a moment later Luna broke the dream.
Back to reality...yay.
The both Princesses were breathing deeply and there was only a short moment of silence before Celeastia rushed to the body and removed the rifle from it before casting a spell at the alien.
"Tia what are you doing?"-Luna asked still shocked.
"These beings where using these things to kill whatever those things were...it also used it when I spotted him in the throne room so"-Celestia got interrupted by Luna.
"The alien used that weapon on you?"-Luna asked confused.
"No No it did it as a reflex but it didn't point it at me"-Celeatia explained herself.
"What did you do to him?"-Luna asked with no emotion on her voice.
"I casted a special shield on him that when he wakes up he wont be able to hurt us or himself + he won't know he has it because its invisible"-Celestia explained herself again.
"Tia"-Luna recalled her sisters name causing her to pop up at her head cause of the tone before continuing:
"You do realize that whatever we just saw wasn't even classified as a nightmare in that creature's mind"
"Luna I really don't want to talk about it, at least not now"-Celestia responded.
Luna lowered her head and made an another attempt to start the conversation :
"How many of them did you see dying ?"-Luna asked and before her sister had the chance to protest it asked again.
"Why did some of those things had the same uniform as the soldiers?"-another question.
"Luna"-Celestia called her sister with a tone she couldn't quite put what it was...
"Did you see what other weapons and gear there were using?"-Luna continued not minding her sister.
"Did you see how big the city was and that flying weapon?"-Luna asked an another question.
"Luna"-Celestia called her sister again with the same tone but stronger.
"Did you see that monster and the flying one?"-Luna wanted to finish but didn't get the chance
"Luna It's waking up"-Celestia finally said.
Luna looked at her sister, both getting near to each other and both unsure of what to do...
