Crystal Kingdom
As the Toa were escorted through the castle, they couldn't help but notice the stares from many of the guard there. For some reason, they were not biomechanical, like the Toa or the Matoran, but completely organic. This confused them greatly as they entered what appeared to be a throne room, where a Pink mare with wings and a horn, obviously royalty, sat, along with a pale white colt with blue hair and just a horn. The guards around them bowed.
"Your majesty, we bring to you these creatures that appeared in the middle of the town, thanks to Discord. What do you make of this?" The captain asked. The pino one looked at the six Toa for a few moments, then spoke.
"So, creatures, what buisness do you have in my kingdom?" She asked, and Jaller stepped up to explain, causing the guards to raise their spears.
"My name is Toa Jaller, I am a Toa of Fire. These are my brothers and sister. We come to this world in pursuit of a great evil From our own world." He explained, before pausing, probably for the question they all knew was coming.
"What evil do you speak of?" The pink one asked, and Jaller sighed as he started to begin the tale, but was cut off before he could start by Takanuva.
"I shall explain it, for I was once a Chronicler, and thus fluent in story telling." He said, looking at Jaller. Sometimes Jaller forgot that this massive toa of light had once been Takua, his best friend. Takanuva took a deep breath, and began his tale...
As the Toa fought against the hordes of Rahi, Bohrok, Rakshi, Visorak, and Makuta alike, they knew they were facing a losing battle. The Piraka had returned as well, granted new life by Makuta Teridax (this is the time after Mata Nui was banished.) and had been attacking from almost nowhere, and slipping back into the horde. As they fought, a bright light appeared from up above, as the roof to the cavern exploded, revealing a squad of seven Toa, with three in massive assault vehicles. One of the Piraka, Hakaan, took notice, and shot a heat beam at the red one. Instantly, a shield sprang to life, deflecting the beam.
"Toa Tahu! And the others! It is great to see you!" Jaller said, shoving off a visorak. The Toa Nuva rushed in, Midak Sky blasters and Ghost cannons blazing into the crowd. The Toa Nuva retrieved the Toa Mahri, lifting them out of the area. The three vehicles covered their retreat, blasting anything that got too close. The Toa patted eachother on the back and embracing their comradss, before remembering where they were, and quickly escaping. Some of the Rakshi took flight, attempting to shoot down the retreating toa, but with multiple attacks from both Takanuva and Lewa, the monsters were quickly destroyed. The Thirteen Toa ran back to the Coliseum, the Center of Metro Nui, trying to get back to the defense of the Matoran who hid inside. some of the Matoran, like the Matoran of light for example, chose to aid in the defense. Scores of lives were lost as the ever growing tide of enemies pushed forward, hoping to break the defenses. Suddenely, and without warning, a portal burst into existence, and many Rakshi, Makuta, and Bohrok, as well as a few Visorak, were sucked in. The Toa glanced at eachother.
"I don't know where that leads, but those monsters need to be stopped before any harm can come to whatever is on the other side." Nuparu said, automatically getting protests pushed into his mask.
"Look, I know the Matoran come first, but what if there are Matoran on the other side? We need to defend them. And also, if the city does fall, it can act as a backup exit. We just need to clear a path to it." Nuparu explained, letting his words sink in.
"I don't like it, but he's right. I'll go, along with the rest of the Toa Mahri." Takanuva said, shocking everyone. Nuparu nodded solemnly, gazing over the battlefield that was once his home. As the Toa got ready, Tahu walked up to Jaller.
"I hope you know what your doing, Jaller." He said, placing a hand on Jaller's shoulder.
"Don't be quick-worrying about us Tahu! Get back to the Katoran! Let us quick-worry about what we are doing." Kongu interrupted, and Tahu only smiled as he went back to the other Toa Nuva. Jaller felt a wierd sensation, like he wasn't going to see this place for a long time. Turning back, Jaller looked at Takanuva.
"I'm ready." He said. Takanuva nodded grimly. Using his power, the Toa of Light had lifted each of the Toa and togrther, they flew into the portal.
As Takanuva finished the tale, the pink one studied them, her face an expression of horror at what they had just been through. After a while, she cleared her throat.
"I thank you for your tale, mr. Takanuva. but I must be sure that you speak the truth, so I do not accidentally bring harm to my citizens by letting you free. I shall read your memories, just to be sure." She said, and walked up to the tall one, and, realizing that she could not reach, floated up to his hesd, and tapped her horn against his mask. Instantly, a rush of memories flew into her head, and she tried to stem the tide to almost no avail. A thousand years of memory flooded her mind, but yet she also felt another mind probing hers as well, gathering information on her world. She tried to block it, and focused on looking through his latest memories. She saw all that had transpired up to this point, the Fall of Mata Nui, the reign of Makuta, the portal, and ,retina Discord. Once she had gathered all that she needed, she cut the link, and slumped down to the floor. Takanuva, however, had stayed upright, processing the information he had gathered from the mind reading.
"I'm guessing you found what you were looking for, Princess Cadence?" He asked as the guards rushed to her aid, and helped her up.
"Yes, Takanuva, Toa of Light, I have. You and your brothers and sister are free to go and hunt those vile creatures, but do not think this means I excuse you from reading my memories." The princess said, standing upright.
"You did the same."Takanuva replied.
"Only to make sure you did not mean any harm to my people!" She countered, feeling a little flame spark in her head.
"And I did so because we needed Intel on this land, and now we have it. Goodbye, princess Cadence." With that, the Six toa moved to leave, but the guard stopped them, only to be called off by Cadence.
"Let them pass, they face a foe that is a danger to our people. We must put the city on lockdown, and send a message to my aunt." The princess said. The guards nodded, and allowed the Toa to pass. They left, leaving Cadence more worried than ever in her life.
