    It was a normal day in the Crystal Empire, as Cadence looked down at her husband yelling orders at the new ponies joining the royal guard. The sweat going down the sides of their face due to the heat. Eventually even Shining got sick of how out it was and told everyone to go inside, shower up, and rest for tomorrows drills. Shining headed inside and climbed up the many stairs to their bed chamber. Cadence gave a quick kiss on Shining's cheek as he continued to the shower himself.

"So how was it outside honey?" Cadence asked as she climbed into bed turning on her  crystal laptop. Shining armor groaned.

"Oh the weather outside was brutal, aside from that it make take at least 2 more weeks to get these guys caught up with the rest of the royal guard."

"Well you can't expect them to be ready in an instant." Cadence replied.

    After Shining finished his shower he got into bed alongside his wife, he grabbed the remote and turned on the crystal TV to a cooking show the two like to watch often. He then used his magic to turn on the air conditioner as he leaned in to kiss cadence on the neck. Cadence just rolled her eyes and lightly groaned. Shining stopped and looked up at her.

"What's the matter? you love neck kisses don't you?"

Cadence put the top of the laptop down to talk. "I do, and i know you don't do it every time, but in the beginning it was cute but after so long it goes down from cute to a plea cry,"

As she points in between Shining's legs.

"You just want to 'have some fun' don't you?" Shining just simply blushes and tries to shake it off. "wh-What are you talking about?"

She looked him square in the eye, yet responded calmly.                                                                                                       "You only do this when its your birthday, Hearts and Hooves day, hearts warming eve.."

Shining simply put his hoof to her mouth. "O-k we can just stop right there, I get it."

Shining slammed his hooves down on the bed. "Ok! I get it...." Cadence put up her laptop screen and started looking up things on the internet. "Ok im sorry I did that, to make up for it, lets look up some fetishes or things we'd like to try."

Shining and Cadence just went back to searching forgetting the horror that they saw.
