Amnesia
Amnesia

If this fanfiction seems way too short and complicated, it's because
1. My first actual fanfic
2. It's kind of representing Amnesia (not the game) in it's own little way, including personal confusion
Amnesia
Sounds of creaking metal met my ears, bringing a silence to the midst. My forelegs dangled below me, and my front legs were being firmly held onto. Where was my cutie mark exactly? Where am I? The real question is, who am I? Deep fear penetrated my thoughts as I listened to faint weeping and screams of horror. The walls looked damp, but I could hardly see a thing. Darkness, the cold temperature, and the creeping feeling I was being watched, made me shiver.
Snap! Scaring me half to death and intruding into my thoughts, were the sounds of the metal bars that were holding me up, cracking, disappearing nearly into thin air. Only when I was free from their contempt did I truly feel the horror of how oddly high I was from the surface. Breathing in to prepare myself for the pain of this terrifying fall, I shut my eyes tight, expecting to blackout.
As expected, I did black out, to find myself in what seemed to be a sewer. It did not smell, the water wasn't dirty, it only appeared that way. Then again, maybe this wasn't a sewer! "Oh little pony, with wide purple eyes, listen to me, or listen to lies!" a dreary mare's voice spoke to me.
"Hello! Who is that?" I cried in response.
"I have no name, I can only rhyme, now listen close, don't waste my time." the voice answered.
"I won't." I assured the strange voice.
"In this dungeon, there are ponies of three, two are evil, one speaks of your destiny, follow my instructions, only you choose your fate, there is no going back, so be prepared for things that await," the voice sounded creepy. "Goodbye, farewell little pegasus, meet my demands, or become lifeless..."
"No! Wait! Come back!" I cried desperately. This little light, small shine of hope, it was gone, just like that. I was determined to get out of here, but I didn't want to be alone while doing so.
It was okay, I wouldn't be alone forever. There were three ponies here. Only one was sane, though. The voice did say I could choose who was evil and who was good. That didn't sound very promising, though. I ventured on searching for anything. Until a face was visible in the darkness. "Who are you?" I asked.
"I am the King of Crystals." the face said, emerging from the black to display itself. "I am your father, can you not see?"
"I may not know who I am, but I know you are not my father." I said bravely, my wings spread out, protectively. "My father is dead." I added sulking.
The King laughed. "Are you adding that to make your point?" he asked, chuckling. "If so, it's not helping."
"Why not?" I asked him. "Are you saying that you are not alive?"
The King kept his same psychotic expression, making me realize. I stepped back. "Am I dead?" I looked at him with fear. Suddenly, green stuff started pouring from my eyes. I felt it, like tears.
"So much hatred." he said as he licked his lips, staring at my eyes. "So much fear."
Once again, I blacked out, finding myself in some kind of brick wall tower. I climbed the stairs that were directly in front of me. When I reached the top, a pony with a blue night-sky colored mane, was facing the opposite direction of me.
"Not another step." the pony told me.
"What?" I was puzzled.
"You think I'd sit idly by while they all basked in your precious light?" the pony jeered. I stood there silently, listening. "There can only be ONE princess in Equestria, and that princess WILL BE ME!!!!" the pony broke the floor below her.
Light blasted in my face. "Luna! I don't hate you!" I cried. "I don't hate you!" I had no idea what I said that for. I blacked out, again.
"I'm sorry," I heard a voice say. "I'm sorry." It was Princess Luna.
"That evil unicorn is my father?" I asked her. My memory was slowly coming back. The dark green grass swayed in the moonlight. It was windy and my mane flowed gently out of my face.
"Yes." she replied. "I was afraid of telling you, because I thought you would get Amnesia."
"Long ago, my sister and I were trying to bring back the life of an Empire full of ponies made out of sparkly crystals, to no prevail. He was a tough foe. He managed to break my sister. Not me, though. He took full control of this trait and decided to use it for personal pleasure and gain!" Luna looked disgusted. "After his defeat, I became pregnant. I tried to stop my sister, but she said you were a danger to Equestria. I didn't know what she did to you, but I was angry. I don't remember what happened after that, besides being banished to the moon." she stared at the grass. "I'm glad I found you, I've never had a daughter before." Luna smiled at me.
"So when your sister blacked out, King Sombra raped you?" I asked her.
"Yes." Luna answered.
"So I'm your daughter?" I asked.
"Yes." she nodded. "I'm going to adopt you and you will be a princess. But first, can you remember your name?"
"My name?" I asked her. She nodded. "My name is Moonstar."
