Princess Twilight sat in her throne inside of ponyville, guards and civilians going around her castle preparing for the summer sun festival. It was being held in ponyville this year. It was a special time for everyone since it's celebrating it's 500th anniversary. But for the purple alicorn it is tragic reminder of her friends who have all have passed away. The princess slowly went to her room and laid on her bed
"Hello my friends, how are you guys? I miss you!" Twilight said as tears started streaming down her face
"I miss you! I miss you! I miss you!" she repeatedly said
A slight knock was heard on her door
"What is it?" Twilight said trying to keep a steady voice
"We need you to check on the preparations for the summer sun festival, your Highness" One of the royal guard said
"Oh... yes of course" She said while wiping away her tears
