BAM. A high pitched beeping noise awoke him. He waited for a few seconds for his body to gain enough strength to push himself up and out of his bed, but only managed to turn around in his upper bunk of their room. He shared a room and a bathroom with his roommate and best friend, Jonah.
"Ughhhh, can you get it this time?" Moaned the exhausted Balam.
"Shut up... Shut up..." Softly groaned Jonah.
"Godfuuckadammit" he said while crudely attempting to shut off their loud, annoying alarm, causing it to fall off the shelf where it was standing on, unplugging it in the process.
"Oh jeez, it's early. 7:30 already. Wake up, dude." Joked Balam. Jonah chuckled and said "Fine. Let's go, ughhhh." So they got up, took turns in their bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. They had some AC/DC posters on the walls and the room was in a fine mess, two piles of dirty laundry, each at the opposite corner of the room, a desk, a drawing desk with papers all over it, which was right next to it located at the wall with the front door. The clock hit 8:00, so they got ready for class, headed out the door, locked the door, and headed out towards their classes that started at 8:05.
Balam was wearing his sports glasses, a nice pair of jeans, an AC/DC leather jacket and a Springfield shirt, some Nike socks and a pair of Converse sneakers, and Jonah was wearing a pair of jeans, too, accompanied by a red t-shirt of an M1 Tompson and a zipped-up yellow-and-grey hoodie. They both liked a popular TV show called My Little Pony, and people called them Bronies
Both of them had classes at that time. Balam, who was studying computers, coding, and game/software design, headed over to his first class of the day, the history of computers. It thankfully only took about roughly 45 minutes and the class went really fast. Jonah's first class was only 30 minutes long, but his next class would be an hour long. Balam's would only be forty-five minutes then he would be in the same class as Jonah, game engineering, which takes a nice solid hour and fifteen minutes. It would then be eleven o'clock.
Later on that cloudy Tuesday, at 11:13 AM, with Jonah in his fourth class of the day and Balam within the Computer Lab, creating a program for his teacher to help with computer analogy. He gave a deep sigh then proceeded to continue the project, when Jonah came in to research how codes work.
"'Sup" Balam says. Jonah replied with "yolo" again.
"Whatcha doin here? Whatcha doin here, man?" Chuckled Balam.
"I'm totally not watching porn" Jonah joked.
"Really?" Laughed Balam."Just kidding, even you never would"
"No, seriously, I'm researching stuff." Jonah sternly stated. (Porn)
"What kind of stuff?" Balam joked. "Just kidding, school stuff, blah blah blah, I know. That's what I'm doing." The rest of the day went by normally. Lunch was just stale beans and fries, with yogurt. The rest of class was an assignment to create a game, or to at least code it. It turned out to just be homework, and it was due in three weeks.
With that in mind, he had settled into the computer desk, and begun working on his homework. Later, he picked up his guitar and started jamming for a bit when Jonah showed up with all his homework. "Wanna go eat somewhere?" He said. "Eh, let's go to the local fast food or whatever" Balam replied.
After they got back, they quickly brushed their teeth in the cramped bathroom and went to sleep in their bunk beds.
"G'night" Jonah plainly stated. "Alright. Bed bugs, bite."
"Goodbye, cruel reality..." Said Balam before dozing off into the theoretical realm of dreams.
His whole world shook before him. A giant earthquake ripping through the ground below the sharp night sky. The school down the street was drowned in flames. It had to be just a nightmare. But reality hit him hard. He was thrown off his bed and landed a few meters away from a giant hole in the wall of their bedroom. He sprinted to his room to grab his friend and get him out.
"Oh shit, wake up dude!!" He yelled at his friend in the ear as he dragged him out of his bed. A bombshell blew up right next to them, sending them flying out into the grassy courtyard. They fell onto the grass with their pjs halfway burnt, looking like a pile of holy rags covering their spots. Getting up and running out of the area alive was Balam's first priority. But as they were running, a high, cold female's laugh pierced the cold, night and what seemed to be small, black, ghostly horses with big, light blue eyes and wings of the same color, along with holes on its legs, and a really short muzzle, and that's all he saw before he and Jonah's sight went black.
It was seemingly normal at first; he felt a little different, but that might've been due to the fact that he was in a strangely colorful yet dark place. It was nighttime, so he checked his surroundings, it was all clear, so he stood up. Big mistake. He fell backwards, unaware that he was no longer human, or had clothes.
"Uhh, dude, what did those ghost-things do to us?" Asked a blue-haired, red, and scared horse-like Jonah. "Because I HAVE NO FUCKING HANDS!!!! WHAT THE HELL?!? AND I'M RED!!"
A little scared to look, he took a peek at what seemed to be light blue hooves. His light blue hooves. His reaction was a little more calm, but he was all and all just as scared. "What the hell- AM I A PONY?!?" He tried getting up. It was a little hard at first, but with Jonah finally calming down, it got easier.
"Ok, I got this. It's like surfing, but on land. Like standing. Huh." Said Balam to himself, but Jonah overheard him.
"Yeah, I know." Said a sarcastic and stressed Jonah. "Ok, I'm up, now what?" He asked before nearly falling down.
"Who the hell are you?" Yelled an apparently female Pegasus, judging by her voice. She was mostly blue and had a rainbow colored mane.
"I said, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!?" She pulled out a loaded KAR-98K and aimed at them.
"Commander, we got a couple of unknown pegasi in the area. Should we bring 'em in for, ya know, interrogation? Over." She called into a antique radio. They both silently gasped but the rainbow Pegasus didn't notice.
"Bring em in, Dash, over." Replied a roughed-up male voice, which Balam and Jonah guessed to be the commander.
"Follow me" she said.

They awoke in bright, empty room with only a table, and a whole bunch of security ponies. Whoever was sitting across from them on a comfy-looking rolling chair seemed to be your average cartoonish general; a big pony with a little white beard, short grey hair, a stern expression, and a general's military outfit. They were strapped tightly to iron chairs, Please don't be electric chairs Balam pleaded in his mind.
No more than half a second later, the were assaulted with a man's voice.
"Who in this Equestria are you?" Asked who seemed to be the Commander.. After a few seconds of silence, the man at the other side of the wooden table spoke up. "I said," He said calmly, "WHO IN THIS FUCKING PLACE WE CALL EQUESTRIA ARE YOU?!? ARE YOU ONE IF THOSE- THOSE SPIES?!? BECAUSE OTHERWISE THE LAST WORDS YOU SPOKE WILL BE THE LAST WORDS YOU EVER SPEA-"
"Ok, OK!! We'll talk!!" Yelled a desperate Balam.
"Dude, whadda fuacka are ya doin?" Whispered Jonah to his friend.
"I have no idea?" He whispered back.
"Who are you? Where are you from?" Stated the Commander.
"I'm not sure who I am, but I know that I'm not from here." Half-lied Balam.
"He's not kidding. Although I do remember my name, though, it's Blastshot. Where we come from is... Complicated..."
"Hmm, interesting, why I might have zem 'ere, agreed, Commander? You know, for, ahem, scientific purposes?" Proposed a male unicorn with a German accent who had just arrived.
"No, Sir, we are not certain that these are changing spies." Replied the Commander. "So no offensive procedures will be taken. Now, I've noticed your cutie marks. They seem to be, let's see, an M1903 Springfield Sniper Rifle, and for your buddy, Blastshot, he has an M1A1 Thompson." He commented. "Guards, take these boys out to the firing range. Let's see what they've got."
They unlocked the chains and grabbed them out of the room. No more than a few minutes later, they were in a big, open field with targets set up all over the place. On a wooden table in front of them, one of the guards put down a heavenly, fully functional bolt-action M1903 Springfield sniper. Then they also put down a beautiful M1A1 Thompson onto the table.
"Now, we are going to find out how good with guns you actually are. Hey, you, Mr. I-Forgot-My-Name" He pointed at Balam. "Pick it up, then I want you to shoot that target over there." He pointed at the Springfield and then at the farthest target from their position. He grabbed the gun and quickscoped the furthest target. Blastshot had his mouth hanging open in awe, and so did the Commander.
"Okay, Blastshot! See if you can get through that obstacle course in under a minute, and shoot all of the targets at the same time." Blastshot picked up the M1A1 and ran to what he assumed to be the obstacle course.
"This one, sir?" Blastshot asked the Commander. He nodded for him to proceed. A little nervous, he ran into it, shooting all the targets while avoiding the darts representing bullets. He got through it in a little over 50 seconds with all targets shot up to bits. The Commander seemed to be impressed.
"Where are you from?" Asked the Commander.
"We told you, we just woke up in the Everfree Forest! We have no idea how we go here to begin with!" Begged Blastshot.
"Hang on, what year is it right now?" Asked Balam.
"It's 1943." Retorted the Commander.
"Where are we?" Asked Blastshot.
"That don't matter. What matters is that we need two more recruits, and you two seemed to fit the bill."
Gulp. Thought Balam.
"You'll be transported to headquarters in Ponyville. There you'll meet Rainbow Dash; she's the Pegasus who found you in the most unknown regions of the Everfree Forest. You guys can fly, right?" Assumed the Commander. They shook their heads to say "no".
"Then we'll put you in flight school. You'll learn stealth tactics while flying, then you'll get suited up for battle."
