Making Wonderful Music Together, by Chosn1

     Today was Hearts and Hooves day, The Sakura trees were in bloom whilst petals began to fall...

     These specific trees were in the backyard of a couple that a normal pony wouldn't think could come together. Not because of the fact that they were the same gender or because of the fact that they weren't the same species of pony. It was because of the fact that these two inseparable mares had very different tastes.

     One of them, Vinyl Scratch, was a unicorn who loved to stay up late creating or listening to all kinds of dubstep, and usually had gotten at least five noise complaints per week. Her mane was a cloth~like electric blue and was very messy most of the time, and her coat was pure white. And most of the time she wore purple sunglasses even while indoors, but when she took them off you could see two warm pools of magenta.

     The other mare, Octavia Melody, was an earth pony who loved classical music more than anything else, and usually like things to be peaceful and volume kept to a minimum. Her mane was jet black and very well kept. Her coat was a light grey, and her eyes a cool indigo. Most of the time, you would see her with a cute little pink bow~tie around her neck to show a sign of sophisticated grace.

     These two had something very special together. There was no doubt about it. They seemed to have very interesting topics to speak about if they were dating each other and living together.

     Not only was this day special to everypony,  it was very special to these two. This was the lovebirds' anniversary. The day that had first kissed. And Vinyl wasn't going to let this be the worst day of the year for Octavia. Vinyl was going to surprise her with something so spectacular, that Octavia would have to love Vinyl forever!...

     The only problem was that Vinyl had nothing to get. She had completely forgotten.

     "Oh, shit shit shit!" Vinyl exclaimed as she ran around the master bedroom. "I can't believe that I forgot my own anniversary!" Vinyl began pacing around. Tavi would be home in four hours. Surely this would be enough time to figure out something.

     Vinyl picked up the phone and dialed a number with her magic. It rang three times. "Hello?" Octavia had answered. "Hey sexy," Vinyl replied. "You are gonna love what I have planned for our anniversary." "Oh, No! That's Today?! I'm so sorry, Vinyl, I had completely forgotten!" Octavia said. Vinyl sighed with relief. "It's Okay if you didn't get anything, bebe. I have with us the three most important things for the best date ever!" "Oh Yeah? Like what?" Octavia asked. "Dinner... A Movie... and something reeeeeaaaally special if ya know what I mean."

     "Vinyl, that's... I'm blushing right now!..." Octavia replied. "I'll be looking forward to it," Vinyl spoke in her best sultry voice, but soon afterward she giggled because she thought she sounded weird.

   She was determined to make this the best night of her life.
