A pony named Night Shroud moves to Ponyville after the tragic death of his parents. The shy pony tries to find the friendships that he had been lacking most of his life, but ends up finding love instead. However, his supposed love may be a bit more difficult to contact that he had hoped, as not everypony is so lucky to be granted an audience with a princess. Night Shroud goes on a journey to find what he fully believes is his soul mate. But what he actually finds may be more disappointment, followed by a realization that what he was looking for was there for him all along.
