Purgatory
Pulled out of Hell
Previous Chapter"Princess Celestia wishes to summon you, and your friends to Canter lot on urgent business Princess Twilight," The armorclad guard said as he bowed.
'I wonder what the princess wants?' Twilight thought.
"Tell her that Twilight and her friends are on their way now," Twilight said.
"As you wish," The guard said before flying off.
Twilight then set about collecting her friends to head off to Canterlot.
"Spike, can you send a few letters right now please?"
The little purple drake walked into the room.
"Sure Twilight, who do you want me to send them to?"
Druid encountered a few stragglers on his way up to the top. He dispatched them all with the same, merciless method.
He chuckled to himself of how terrified they were, and how they must be thinking of how terrible it was for their victims.
Soon he reached the outer most compound of their final retreat location.
He began to play Ode To Joy through his loudspeaker and comm.
"So Twilight, do you know what the Princess wants?" Rainbow Dash questioned while floating in place.
"No, but it's urgent, even the guard that brought the message seemed to think it was urgent," Twilight replied.
Soon the train entered the station. It's design was still the same, except the more narrow train nose. The six ponies. Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash all found their seats quickly.
"All Aboard!" Called the conductor.
A few moments passed and then the train took off.
"So Twilight, Did the guard just say that Celestia wanted us or did he say anything else?" Rainbow Questioned.
"No that's all he said, but he looked, worried."
"Are ya sure?" Applejack asked.
"Yes, very."
~~~~~
"Your sure Luna?" Celestia asked.
Luna sighed.
"Yes, there is something strange entering Canterlot, a strange creature, that's all i know," She replied.
"Your Positive you don't know what it's intentions are?"
"Absolutely positive sister, I do not know."
Celestia looked over at Cadance, who was sitting over at one of the pillars close to the throne.
"Cadance, are you okay?" Celestia asked.
Cadance looked over at Celestia. "Yeah, just a little tired is all."
Cadance hadn't been summoned by Celestia often, nor Twilight now that she herself was a princess. But still, ever so rarely Celestia invited Cadance to come and have some tea or do something for a while. The four alicorns were rarely ever seen all together at the same time.
It was even more of a rarity for Luna to have visions of an unknown creature of unknown origin appearing in Canterlot. That never had happened before, usually when an event happened no pony got a heads up.
Whatever happened usually happened without any form of warning. Like the whole Discord thing. And Queen Chrysalis.
And Nightmare moon.
Soon the throne room doors opened. Twilight and her friends entered.
"Hello Twilight," Celestia said.
After an exchange of greetings Celestia began to speak about why everypony was there.
"Now as you may have guessed, the reason you are all here is of the utmost importance, Luna here has an abnormal affinity for detecting, non-pony magical disturbances, the make her feel, slightly ill, and this time is no exception. She has been, seeing an unknown creature right here in Canterlot, walking the halls and doing such things as she has explained, She tells me that it is extremely strong."
Luna leaned in and whispered something to Celestia.
"And it seems that she started having this feeling a few weeks ago. The creature, by Luna's accounts is able to us telekinesis like a unicorn, but fly like a Pegasus."
"But Princess, how is that possible? There are only four Alicorns in all of Equestria," Cadance pointed out.
Celestia shifted where she was.
"I know that, but this thing, by Luna's accounts is able to do many things that should not be possible."
"Like what exactly?" Twilight asked.
Luna stepped forwards.
"Like stopping time for instance, staying underwater for a full seven hour period and put it's upper limbs through marble pillars, remove it's limbs then reattach them, twist it's body to an insane extent and turn its own head a full three sixty degrees die then revert time a full half hour, rewind time, bounce a creature off a stone wall and finally be impaled and still stay standing."
Every ponies jaw dropped, even Celestia's at some of the things Luna had mentioned.
"A-are you sure sister?" Celestia asked.
"Very," Luna replied.
Applejack stepped forward from the group of ponies.
"So what yer tellin us is, this thing is, as one would say, Immortal?"
"No, this thing is far from immortal," Luna replied.
"But it can't be killed?"
Luna shifted on her hooves.
"I don't quiet know."
The room went deathly silent for a few moments.
"But at least it may have good intentions, rather than what it seems," Celestia broke the silence.
"Aww Nobody want's to play with me!" The voice from Druid's Loudspeaker whined.
Several raiders blockaded the door to try and stop him.
"This thing is unstoppable!"
"Fall Back to the arena it we have no choice now!"
Druid charged a kinesis bolt and threw it at the door. He was having a 'blast'. These raiders had actually managed to land a few shots. Though it didn't matter, the ceramic plates prevented any real damage.
Druid walked through the wreckage of the door and followed the trail of scuff marks and bullet casings to a large pair of doors.
"Nice..." He said.
Suddenly the doors into the throne room of Canterlot Castle flung open with a flash of light. Sand spilled across the floor.
"It's here," Luna said.
Another flash of light produced more sand. Everypony backed away from the flashes of light.
"What's here?" Twilight asked.
"Let's... Play!" Druid shouted.
A hailstorm of bullets and explosives rained towards Druid. He pulled up a large sand shield with his kinesis. He then threw everything back with some sand.
"Shit!" Shouted one of the raiders.
Druid ejected his wings out of his back and held them open, he then spun around to create more of a dust cloud to blind his enemy's.
One came running out of the storm.
"Raaaaa!" He shouted.
Druid swung his arm up connecting with the Raiders jaw and launching him up into the air. Druid then removed his long combat knife from his coat and held it out like a massive long blade.
"Alrighty Then!" Druid played through his loudspeaker.
Raider after raider charged at him. Soon Druid was having to use his hands as well as his combat knife. Shotgun sprays hailed down at him. And more Raiders charged.
There was really quiet a lot of them, enough to present an actual challenge.
Druid began to move towards one side of the arena to give himself a certain amount of cover. If he overused the TAC it would 'tire' in metaphorical terms. Overheat and not work in technical.
A flash of light made a room appear around Druid for a few seconds.
"What is it?" A feminine voice shouted.
Druid dropped back to his reality.
A raider dived at him, he brought his arm in from the right and slogged the Raider right in the jaw, shattering it.
The flashes of light became more and more frequent, and the creature had seemed to become more solid. Sand swamped the room with every flash of light. Celestia had erected a barrier to prevent the sand from blasting the nine ponies near the throne.
Whatever this creature was, it was fast, and starting to enter Equestrian Reality. Its intentions unknown, its origin unknown.
"Celestia," Luna began softly.
"Yes sister?" Celestia asked.
"It is fighting for it's life and losing," Luna replied, "We can pull it through the gap, but it will either kill it, or by chance give us a very bad problem."
Celestia Sighed.
"Come On boy's we almost got him!" A raider shouted.
Druid was sitting nearby a large set of pillars, they were about seven meters apart. A Raider charged. Druid Swung with his left. A flash of light brought him back to the strange room. He took out a pillar and stumbled forwards.
"What?" He said.
Suddenly he dropped back to his reality.
"Where the hell did he go?" Shouted the raider.
Druid turned and swung. Destroying the raiders head.
'What the hell was that?' Druid thought.
Another raider charged.
"I think that it's being pushed into our reality," Twilight commented, "Every flash seems to make it stay longer."
"Whatever it is, it just destroyed a pillar with one hit," Cadance pointed out.
Another flash made the creature appear. It collided with a pillar and flopped to the ground.
"Damn!" It shouted then getting up.
It flexed its wings out rubbing its head. It then stared at the nine ponies. Then cocked its head to the left
"Hello?" The strange creature said.
It raised one of its strange claws and shook it side to side.
It then disappeared again. This was the longest it had stayed within the confines of Equestrias reality.
Druid ducked, his distance monitor alerted him just seconds before the raider hit. Druid used his hardened elbow to smash in the Raiders ribs.
A small missile flew towards Druid, he slowed time to a millionth of a second and redirected the missile.
An explosion sounded but was quiet compared to the sound of the wind.
Druid began to throw kinetic blasts around himself to dispel the Raiders that were going to charge him. Another flash of light brought him back to the room.
A kinesis bolt flew towards the nine strange horse creatures. A loud shattering sound happened as what seemed to be a glass wall broke around the nine horse creatures.
Druid tensed up for a moment, the sound was so grueling.
He then reappeared back in the sandy storm.
His distance monitor clicked and Druid dropped to the ground. A large blade swooshed overhead.
A mech.
There was still a few hundred working electronic devices. But they were all military. And lord were they big, This one must've been an AA-TX0, The swordsman version. They were roughly seventeen foot tall with a sword made to cut through a fifteen inch thick wall of diamonds. But so refined that it could cut a persons hair with three swipes.
The blade swiped towards Druid again. Only given a matter of several seconds to react Druid slowed time to a millionth of its natural speed. He then used his kinesis to raise a wall of sand more solid than the blade. He then jumped backwards out of the way of the blade.
Druid released his grip on time. The blade ripped through the air. Another flash of light.
Druid was back in the strange location.
He looked around, a small crystalline looking bubble colored gold, purple, pink and dark blue sat around him.
Four of the strange creatures had their heads pointed towards him. Similar colored energy was resonating from a singular horn on each ones head. Whatever they were doing, it seemed to be stopping the flashes. But keeping him in the strange room.
"The field's not stable enough, the field is going to fail," The large white creature strained.
Druid poked a finger against the side of the strange crystal ball. It seemed, loose to say the least.
