Chapters Chapter 1: A Rough First Impression
"A-are you sure Rainbow? Does he like m-me...?"
"Yup, it's all true Fluttershy, Anon in in love with you. He wants you to be his girlfriend." Fluttershy gasps. "But he's more nervous than you are, I doubt he'll say something about it. The guy can barely support himself." Rainbow continues.
This conversation isn't too far from you. It might be a library, but that doesn't mean it makes their chat to themselves. Since it's so quiet, the East side of the library can hear it. You are a table away from the bookshelves they are hiding behind, You can't see on what they are doing, but you can damn-well hear them behind the non-fiction section. You slam your book shut and walk away. Some books are pushed off of the shelf.
"Ow..." Fluttershy whispers.
As your walking by, you see Fluttershy rubbing her elbow, while Rainbow Dash is reading the Ming Dynasty upside down.
"Oh, heya Anon! Fluttershy—" You walk away and head for the door. "Crap, do something!"
You can hear someone charging behind you, but it stops. "And just what do you think you're doing?" You look back to see Cheerilee in front of her. "You go back and clean that mess you've made with Miss Dash." She looks miserable before she walks back to the non-fiction aisle. Right next to you is a rotative stand. Perfect. Walk into it and land right on top of the books. "Mr. Mous!"
Jackpot. A set of books are pushed from the non-fiction section. You see two blue arms on the outside of the shelf. "That's enough!"
An hour goes by. The three of you spend it putting books away that were in the return slot. You can't believe people still use these after all the technology today. Maybe it's because a hardcover can't get a virus.
"Okay, that's all of them. Now I can finally leave early." You wanted to say that she didn't have anything to look forward, but that would fuck everything up. "The three of you can leave. Don't do that again, or you will all wish I banned you from the schools library." You grab your stuff and walk outside. The two girls follow you and the door slams shut. So much for doing homework...
"What was all that about Anon?" You can't believe Rainbow Dash said that.
"First, I heard what you guys were talking about."
Rainbow scratches the back of her head. ”Oh, I didn’t mean to—“
“And second, I tipped over that stuff out of pity. I couldn’t let her get in trouble for what was my fault.” They look at you in shock. “I just… never asked out anyone for anything. Sure I fall for a girl every now and then, but that passes by.”
Rainbow Dash looks provoked. ”So all of that was for nothing?”
Fluttershy steps up and tilts her head. ”It’s okay. I’ll… I’ll get over it.” Fluttershy walks past you without getting to look at you.
Rainbow Dash shakes her head. ”Dude, that wasn’t cool.”
“But it was the truth.”
She gets her duffel bag. ”Sometimes, you should just keep the truth to yourself.” She bumps into your shoulder and catches up with Fluttershy.
What did you just do? Whatever it was, it didn't seem right. Are you this much of a weakling? Maybe it’s because your parents never talked to you about these things. Are you blaming your own parents for your own faults? That’s low. Although, there are certain things they didn’t teach you about girls. Who to pick up, where to take a girl, when to do the birds and the bees, why a condom, all of that shit that can’t be taught by anyone else, except from a couple with experience. Your thorough thinking process stops when you hear the doors being opened. You run down the hallway and go through the same doors that they exited. There is Rainbow Dash patting Fluttershy’s back. Rainbow turns around to you when the doors close by themselves. You run and meet up with them, only to be greeted when Dash throws her bad to the ground.
”You’ve done enough! What are you going to do? Admit that you hate us? Me? If you’ve got a problem, deal with it somewhere else!” She crosses her arms while you catch your breath. There is some light sobbing coming from her shivering friend.
“It’s not that. I came to talk, that’s all.”
”We’ve heard enough. We get that you don’t give a shit, and we should just cut her losses.” Rainbow continues.
“No, it’s not that. I didn’t know who to blame, only to realize that it should just be me.”
Rainbow gets closer to you, only to intimidate a little further. ”Is that all?”
“No, I also thought that, some things can’t be taught by others or solved by just avoiding them entirely. So, I’m thinking that…” You swallow your shame. “Me and Fluttershy… could try?” You notice Fluttershy stops shaking and her head stands at attention.
”Anon, do you really think that this—“
”Yes!" Fluttershy struggles, but says with joy. She turns around and cleans her face of any tears. ”But, please, if you’re going to be open, at least do it now before anything else.”
You think of a few things, but wonder what a couple does in the beginning. You may as well and get the most important one out of the way. “I don’t have anything planned for today. If you want, we can take the time to go somewhere.”
Fluttershy nods and claps her hands. ”There isn’t that much homework for me tonight, let’s go!”
She starts to jump a bit. ”Hold on Fluttershy, I need to have a word with Anon.”
Flutters stops and looks at the two of you. ”Oh, I-I’ll be over here.” She walks by the statue to open up her backpack, allowing Angel to pop up. He moves around and falls off to the side. Poor bastard.
”I don’t like this, Anon. Not one bit.”
“Hey, it’s better than never trying at all.”
”Well, yeah, but neither of you guys know how to do this!”
“Do you have any other idea?”
She puts a finger under chin, only to snap it a few seconds later. ”I watch over you guys!”
“What?”
”It’s a good idea, isn’t it?” She elbows you.
“No, I mean, why?”
”Why is it a good idea?”
“No! I mean, why would you want to watch us?”
”Dude, you are pretty weak. If that isn’t enough, you can barely talk to girls.” The moment you get home, you’re going to have some talk with your parents. ”Trust me, you will need me.” She grabs her bag. ”Don’t worry about it, you’ll thank me later.” Rainbow runs off to meet up with Fluttershy. She wraps an arm around Flutters neck and walk away. This is going to be a rough day.
The three of you enter the local burger restaurant. This place doesn't seem to be busy, but it isn't noon so there is the difference. It’s just an average number of people here. ”May I take your order?” The male worker asks. You walk up to the counter and look at the menu. Burger, cheeseburger, double-double, bacon burger, chicken sandwich, 'The Heart Stopper' the list goes on with different types of them.
“Uhh…”
Rainbow Dash pushes you aside. ”Just three burgers, my good man.” The cash register rings. ”Uh, Anon?”
“What?”
”The dude always pays for the date.” You sigh and rummage your pocket to pull out your wallet and take out all your money. Just as you’re counting, Rainbow Dash takes it and hands it over. The cashier leaves most of it alone, and gives back the change. Dash dumps a couple of dollars in the jar and gives the rest to you. ”Alright, that’ll do.”
You put it in your wallet and follow them to a vacant booth. “What was—“
”Ah! Pretend I’m not here. I’m just helping out when things get stuck.” You could’ve handpicked the menu yourself. Hell, even you could tip the guy. Just not that much money. You see Fluttershy looking at her finger, while moving it around the table. Rainbow Dash bumps your arm. ”Psst, don’t just wait there, talk to her!” For fucks sake.
“How was your day, Fluttershy?”
She stops and looks at you. ”Hm? Oh, it was, not bad.” An awkward pause surrounds the booth.
Rainbow nudges your arm and rotates her hand. ”Keep going.” She whispers.
“How are your classes? Are they that difficult?”
”N-no, not really. Just struggling with chemistry, but I’ll keep on trying.” She says with some positivity.
“I can help you with that.”
”I-I don’t want to be a bother.”
“It’s not. It would actually make me happy to help you.”
”Good! Nice job so far.” Rainbow whispers to you.
”A-are you sure? I should call my mom if I could stay out a little longer.”
Rainbow pushes you and moves in closer. “Go ahead, I’ll wait.” She gets up and walks into the restroom.
A small bell rings from the counter. ”Pick up order! Three burgers!”
”You’re up Anon. I’ll go and check up on her.” You get up, letting Rainbow to go into the same restroom. You just remembered that the restrooms only have a one person limit. Now you’re worried on how embarrassed Fluttershy could be by now.
You take your tray from the counter as the guy winks at you. ”So, not a guy that gets around?”
“I’m sorry?”
”Your date. She seems like she wears the pants in the relationship.”
Does he think that… “What? No, no. I’m not going out with her.”
”I dunno, looks like she’s the one doing your work, while her friend just watches you guys.” You look at him for a while. ”Come on. Hey, it’s a not bad piece of ass.”
“Whatever you say.”
”Dude, just don’t wimp out. At least snap your spine back in place.” You ignore him and walk away. ”Just helpin’ out.”
You sit down and wait a while for them to come out. A few seconds later, the door for the women’s restroom opens up. Fluttershy doesn’t look like what you were anticipated. Instead of being ashamed, it just looks like she’s being dragged down by something. Usually she would always be depressed about something, but she would never admit to what it is.
”It took some persuading, but we’ve got enough time before she needs to get home.” Rainbow Dash scoots in while Fluttershy follows. You’re facing Fluttershy, while Rainbow is in the sidelines. You pick through the bag and hand over each burger to them.
”Thank you.”
”Thanks, Anon." Rainbow Dash unravels her burger and munches down. Something tells you she eats first, taste it later. Fluttershy takes her burger apart, and separates the lettuce away.
“You don’t like the lettuce?”
“No, it’s just that Angel needs some food. I don’t want him to starve, so I give him what I have.” She puts it in a napkin and slides it into her backpack.
“That’s very thoughtful of you.” Her checks have a red hue on them.
”Nice job, stay focused on her.” You nod as Rainbow finishes her sentence.
“How was the bathroom break?” Wait— You stretched that into hard territory.
Rainbow pushes you while Fluttershy looks away. ”Um, w-well, i-it was…” She moves her burger around, possibly trying to spell it out. ”Hard at first, but Rainbow Dash helped me.” Oh sweet recycled filth of Sweden. ”There’s nothing to worry about. W-we shouldn’t talk about it.” You don’t want to know what the hell was going on behind that door. You knew that they’re close friends, but this sounds different.
For half an hour, it was some small talk between you and her. Rainbow Dash tried to throw out some topics for either of you. It’s not bad to have a wingman, but when it’s a girl, it’s completely different. You and Rainbow Dash waited for Fluttershy to finish up her food. She’s a slow eater, especially where each bite is not even a mouthful. At least she didn’t leave any of it to go to waste. All of you walk out and wonder on what to do now.
”Dude, try heading somewhere.” The day is still young, but where else could you go?
“How about the park?”
”I like it.” Fluttershy comments.
”That’s not exactly what I’ve had in mind.” Rainbow grumbles out. You choose to ignore it and head down a few streets.
Chapter 3: Slight Bit of Sickness
After crossing the third street, you finally arrived. Children are playing at the playground, basketball courts on the other side, a few picnic tables are scattered around the place, and there’s a pond where the geese bathe around in. You start to leave the sidewalk and take winding path right beside a hilltop. Not many teenagers are around here. They could be at the mall right now. You wouldn’t be surprised about that. Just as you’re passing by the pond, Fluttershy tugs on your shirt. ”Would it be fine if, we would just watch them?” She points at a bench that’s facing the pond.
“I don’t see why not.” You and Fluttershy take a seat, while Rainbow drops her stuff right beside the bench.
”You guys can stay, I’ll be at the basketball courts.” She runs off. There goes your advantage. Your leg starts to bounce, while your arm shakes a bit.
”Are you okay?” Fluttershy questions.
You rest your arm on your leg to stop them both at once. “It’s fine, really.”
”Are you sure?” She repeats but a bit more sternly.
You look back and see that your leg is still bouncing. You force your arm back down and keep it grounded. “It’s not a problem.” You clear your throat and look at the geese.
”Anon, please, tell me.”
Do you really want to show how much of a pansy right now? Wait, what would Rainbow Dash do? Stay strong and don’t give in. “Trust me on this, I’ve got it.”
”But why is your other arm shaking?”
You look down and see that it is. That’s it, you’re not Dash. Just give up. “It’s just that, I’m more than nervous on this by myself.”
"What do you mean? Everything is fine so far."
"It's because Rainbow Dash instructed me on everything so far." You hang your head in shame. "She's the one who instructed me on what to do so far." You bring your arms up and grab the back of your head. "She's right, I can't do anything by myself."
Fluttershy rests a hand on your back. "Anon, you didn't do all of that by yourself."
"What do you mean."
"Who was the one that tripped over a stack of books?" Fluttershy asks.
"I did."
"And who was the one who opened up about themselves."
"Fluttershy, I barely can pick up in what your saying."
"And who used their money to buy us lunch?"
"I guess I did?"
She grabs your shoulder and brings you up to face her. "Anon, she was only helping you out, just like on how she helped me."
"Flutters, I can't remember a time when she helped you out."
"She did, back in the restaurant. If it wasn't for that, I might not be sitting here right now." You feel slightly nauseous. The thought of what they did just makes you sick. "Anon, a-are you hurt?"
"It's just, the bathroom." Clam down, it can't be that bad.
"It wasn't much. It did take a while, but it was for the better." Just try not to puke. "Oh goodness. Anon, what's-" You look at the other direction and regurgitate beside the bench. "Anon?!"
It wasn't much, probably a good quarter of your food. You breathe a little and keep your head away from facing Fluttershy. "Why?!" You sniff your snot back in and keep the rest down. “Why would you leave your door unlocked!?”
”I was washing my hands!”
“But, you said Rainbow helped you with something.”
”With the call to my mom! Anon, what did you think we were doing?” You realize that your sick imagination has gotten the better of you. ”My mom isn’t… the kind of person to negotiate with. When it’s just me, she would shut it down. But when it’s with a friend, it would be allowed by her.” You ingest the leftover chunks from your mouth and turn back around. ”Anon, tell me. Please.”
“I thought… you and Rainbow did something else.” You keep your head down, trying to avert your face from being seen. “I’m sorry, my mind just strayed off.”
Her hands rest on your shoulders. She pushes you up, only to look at you. ”Don’t worry. We just, frequently over think on these things.” You wonder if she is actually fine with this. ”And, if it makes you feel any better, I have my moments.” She bites down on her lip.
“It can’t be any—“
”Hey guys, how’s—“ You turn around to watch Rainbow running to you. Her skirt is dangling in her hand while she looks around. ”Anon!”
“What?” You ask as if something was wrong.
She gets closer to grab her bag from the ground right beside you. The foul smell is starting to make you queasy. Luckily she pulls it away before you do it the second time. ”Augh! I knew I shouldn’t have left.” She puts her skirt inside, only to take out a new shirt. ”I suppose it can’t get any worse than it is now. I’ll be back in a while.” She runs off to join a basketball game. ”Hey! Need an extra player?”
You walk back to the bench and sit down. ”Don’t feel bad.” Fluttershy tries to comfort you.
“It’s way too late for that, Flutters.” You rest your entire back against the metal backrest and look at the clear sky. Watch as a blue jay flies over you.
”But Anon, there’s nothing wrong with having a little imag—“ A bit of bird shit lands on your shoulder. You panic and get up to dance like you were on fire. ”Anon!” In a rapid response, you take off your shirt and toss it away. ”O-oh… my goodness.” You look at her partially covered face. ”It’s just like, how I imagined.” She speaks through her fingers.
“What?”
”N-no, I…” Her eyes scan your uncovered frame. ”Wow.”
“Fluttershy?” You waive your hand.
”R-right. I meant to say, that… hold on.” She skimps right by you and bends down to grab something out of Rainbow’s bag. It’s a spare blue jacket that looks like hers. ”Here, please wear it.”
You slide your arms in and button it. Except the top one, that’s not really your thing. The two of you sit back down and try to look at each other. “So, what where you saying?”
”It’s… I imagine you sometimes.”
“That's it? I don’t see anything wrong with that. I imagine you holding my hand, or watching the clouds go by. Nothing’s wrong with the one you love, right?”
She stays silent for some time. ”R-right. It’s just, much more different for me.”
“How much of a difference could it be?”
Fluttershy grabs her cotton skirt and plays with it. ”It would, just… lead from one thing, to another.”
“What? You mean, kind of like taking care of cats, to helping a tiger in the wild?”
”Oh, I would love to do that, but… no. i-it’s not that.”
“Could you try to tell me? Maybe some details about it?”
Her arms shakes a bit. ”A-Anon, do you ever get that, special feeling?”
“What? Love? Of course I do, why would you ask that?”
”I-it’s not that. I mean, that one feeling that… you want to… make love?” You feel uncomfortable in your spot, almost as if you’re being watched from every angle. Getting asked about a question that can determine your own life for good.
“It’s not like that I didn’t want to, but…” You clear your throat. “I, uh…”
”I-is there something wrong with me?”
“No, nothing like that.”
”What is it? Is it someone else?”
“No!”
”Then what’s wrong with the thought about you touching me?” Don’t. Think. ”You must have at least done something like that.”
“Yes! Okay! Countless times I did the wank of shame! Are you happy!?” You turn away and put your head in your arms. “They’re not as much that I would want to stay with you. Watching movies, going outside like this, times like this, it’s what I always dreamt of.”
She turns you around to see your face. ”Anon, you, don’t know how happy that makes me right now.” She kisses your lips for a split second. ”I, I’m so sorry if that was all of a sudden.”
You move in quickly and do the exact same kiss to her. “I’m sorry that I didn’t do anything about it.” As you smile, she does it back. One of the geese honks at you. Huh, were they just idly watching you?
”I think he’s hungry.” Fluttershy grabs her backpack to take out a small bag filled with crackers. She tosses out to the pond, letting the goose jump back in. ”Would you like to feed them, Anon?” She moves the bag closer to you.
You take out a handful of crackers and toss one out. A gust of wind blows the leaves in the nearby trees, making a very relaxing sound. It sounds perfect when you also listen to Fluttershy’s tune. She sighs and moves an arm around your waistline. Her arm covers your stomach, while the other moves beside your back. Her head lowers a bit, making the hug possible to be completed.
”Whew! Alright, I’m just about—“ You and Fluttershy almost jump at the sound of Rainbow’s voice. ”Whoa, I sure hope I wasn’t interrupting some quality time between you two.”
“No, not at all.” Fucking bitch almost scared the shit out of you.
”Y-you k-kind of did.”
”Oh, right, sorry. The game ended a while back, so everyone is heading home right now.” As the wind picks up, the leaves start to fly away. ”Brr. I think it’s time to leave.”
“Yeah, where to?”
”Not my place.” Rainbow jumps in.
Fluttershy shakes her head, while the rest of her body is doing the same thing.
“Looks like my place it is.” You state to them.
”Is that my shirt?”
Chapter 4: Prove Yourself
You unlock the front door and turn on the light switch. It’s almost dark outside, but at least the three of you made it before it would be barely visible. Even though it’s a few minutes past six, the nighttime is earlier than the rest of the year.
”Anon! Is that you?” Your mom shouts out.
“Yes, I’m home!”
She runs in and stops when she sees your friends. ”I see that we have company!”
“Yup, they—“
”Oh, I don’t mind at all. Just take off your shoes and come on in!” The three of you do so and walk down the wooden floor.
”Hello m-ma’am.”
”Hey Mrs. Mous.”
Your mom is dressed in a white sweater, along with a pair of light blue jeans. ”Hello to the both of you. Anon, I’m sorry to say this, but I must help out with your aunt tonight.”
“Really? This is the third time this week you need to leave for the exact same reason.”
”I know honey, but she’s had a rough breakup with your uncle, she needs any support she can get.” She grabs her purse and slips on some shoes. ”I’ve made some lasagna in the kitchen, and your dad won’t come home until ten.”
“As usual.” You scoff out.
”I’m sorry Anon, but I really would love to spend some time with your friends, but family is first.”
“Or what’s left of it.” You slip out.
”What was that?”
“Nothing mom.” She kisses your check and runs out the door.
”Mama’s boy much?”
“Eat a pack of ice cubes, Dash.” You walk to the living room and drop your backpack to take out your homework. They settle in and get out their homework as well.
”Hey Anon, what did she meant by support ?”
“Nothing much. It’s just some sappy story.”
”I love stories. M-may I hear it?”
“I don’t know, Flutters. It’s kind of personal.” You say.
”Dude, after taking my shirt, I think this’ll get everything between you and me pretty even.”
You slam your Physics book on the table. “Fine.” You get comfortable by crossing your legs. “My aunt and uncle had a history.” You get out your pencil and try to get some work done while telling it. “They’ve been with each other since, I think when they were teenagers.”
”Like, high school sweethearts? Kind of like you and Fluttershy?”
“Yeah, exactly like that. The difference is that they’ve been together ever since sophomore year. From what I’ve heard is that they were the perfect couple. But, recently, we found out that my uncle was cheating on my aunt.”
”Dude, not cool.”
“It gets worse. They said that it was with someone that he knew for a long time.”
”Probably back in high school too?”
“I wouldn’t be surprised.”
”Me neither. Are you alright there, Shy?” Rainbow asks.
Fluttershy appears to just stare at her homework. ”Anon, do you ever think that… we could end up like them?”
You feel worried, and a little hurt by what she just said. “That’s dumb. Don’t be so pessimistic about it, Flutters. It might’ve happened to them, but it certainly won’t happen to us.”
She stops writing on her piece of paper. ”How can you be sure?”
You put down your pencil. “Flutters, believe me. I’m happy enough to be with you, and I doubt that I can make another move like that ever again.” You put a hand on top of hers. “There’s no one else I would go out with. Just, and only you is my choice.”
”Thanks Anon.” Her face brightens up a bit.
”Yeah, that’s nice. Now can we get our work out of the way? I’m having problems with Shakespeare, and some help would be nice.”
Damn, two painstaking hours of helping out with them. It’s never this long when it’s yourself, but when it’s with others, that draws back time. Flutters wasn’t a hassle, but Rainbow constantly asked you for help. No wonder she depends on that scholarship. ”Alright! That’s the end of it. Heck, it would’ve been easier if he’d actually wrote it in a proper way.” You just look at Fluttershy, while she does the same to you. ”Hey, I’m just sayin’ that if you’re going to use English, you may was well properly structure the sentences.”
“Rainbow it—“
”Anon, please. Just, don’t.”
“But—“
”I help Rainbow with her homework every day.”
“Don’t you need to go home at certain days?” You question.
”She calls me every few times in a day.”
"Few doesn’t cut it right now." You comment.
”Hey, I’m helping you out with Anon, so this may as well even it out.”
Wait. Did she just— ”Well, maybe Anon didn’t even need your help.” Fluttershy tries to excuse the reason. You’re about to speak up, but you just continue listening to their argument.
”If it wasn’t for me, you guys wouldn’t even get this far.” Rainbow tries to remind Fluttershy.
”And if it wasn’t for you, I would’ve done a better job!”
”Right, even if you did, we would all have passed high school and have moved on with our lives.”
“Stop!” They jump back by your outburst. “What’s done is done. We’re all here, and by the end of the day, we can carry on this relationship without you, Rainbow.”
”But—“
“No, we’ve got this under control.” You interrupt her and cross your arms.
”Well, that’s too bad. And to think, I was going to give the two of you advice on how to do it.”
“I’m sorry?”
”Don’t think for a second that the two of you will just ignore it. Eventually, you guys will really get down to it.” Rainbow has a smug look on her face. ”Yeah, I was going to give you some tips on how to start it off. But, seeing that you would rather take the risk of friction, rashes, or even getting a child without taking the warnings, you can guess that on your own.” You’re starting to regret your choice. You want to call this a bluff, but you know that she goes out with a guy from time-to-time. ”So, ready to go by yourself from here on out, or you might need me for a while?” Fluttershy is just as concerned as you are.
“Can’t you save the trouble now by telling us?”
”Nuh-uh. It ain’t that easy.”
”What do you mean?” Fluttershy asks.
”What I’m offering you guys is something that can’t be learned by videos or papers. I’m going to instruct you throughout the entire way.”
“You can’t be serious.”
”When was the last time either of you grabbed some action?”
It stays silent. “Does a pillow count?” You ask.
”What? Ew, no.”
”What about using a phone?”
“What?” You and Rainbow Dash unanimously say.
”Is that a no?”
Rainbow groans. ”See? Clearly you guys will need me later.”
“Not unless we can get it out of the way now.”
”A-Anon, I-I’m not sure about this.” Fluttershy whispers.
”Wait, now? Today?”
“Why not?”
Rainbow shakes her head. ”It is way too early for that. You guys are just going through day one!”
“But we don’t need you for another couple of weeks.”
Rainbow closes her book. ”It takes time. You can’t just jump into this.”
“And we can prove to you that we can do this, with or without your help.”
”But— Fluttershy, talk some sense into him.“
Fluttershy just puts her book in her bag before looking at you. ”I… as much that, e-even I wouldn’t mind for it to happen, I fear that, we still need help in this, Anon.”
”There, ya see?”
”But, every time we need to go out, we can’t have you watching the both of us.” Rainbow groans. ”And… I-I’m f-fine with you trying to get me and Anon to get… closer.”
Rainbow slams her head on the table. ”Alright, fine. I’ll do this.” She gets her head back up. ”If Fluttershy is fine with this, I’ll coach you guys tonight. And I won’t tag along from here on out, but, I do expect updates on how you guys are doing.” You nod, while Flutters does the same. ”So, what’s it going to be, Fluttershy?”
She trails her finger across the table. ”Just… N-not too long or rough.”
”I bet Anon here will just do that.” You quickly remove RD’s jacket and toss it at her. She hesitates to pull it off and raspberries for some reason. ”What the hell!?”
“Sorry, just thought that you wanted it back.”
Rainbow Dash picks it up with two fingers and puts it in her duffel bag. ”Yeah, well, I’m gonna have to dip it in acid to get rid of what you’ve been in." She gets up, while tossing her bag on the couch. ”Let’s go to your room and get this over with.”
You hate this. You almost forgot on how you made it this far. While you remove your underwear, Fluttershy does the same. This isn’t the most embarrassing moment of your life. Not that you choose to remember such. ”Damn Anon, that’s quite a shiner there.” Okay, now it is. Just suck it up, and show her that you can be bold. You get up on the bed and get closer to Fluttershy. ”Hold on there!”
“What?” Rainbow tosses a condom at you. Right, safety first. You get it on before listening to every word that comes out of Rainbow Dash.
”Lay down Fluttershy, and relax while Anon holds your arms down.”
”I-I know that you’re the expert here, but-“
”Hold all the questions when this is over. Anon, just get it in halfway, and no further.”

”Wait, that pinches.” She complains. You look down to see your condom has a touch of red. ”Anon, t-that hurts!”
”It always does in the first time, but you’ll get over it.”
”Get it out, get it out!” You don’t know who to focus on. While you think this over, your body automatically rams onto Fluttershy. ”A-Anon! I-I don’t think, I can bare another minute of this!”
You bail out and rip off the condom. “I just can't do it.” You back away and run out of the room. What are you doing? You didn’t want to hurt her, but you couldn’t be pushed around. Now you look like some sort of sex-crazed jackass. Why couldn’t you just left the library like a normal person? As the door opens, you immediately get up.
”Hey Anon, we need to talk.” Rainbow says while closing the door.
“I already know. I’m an asshole and I should never meet Fluttershy ever again.”
”What? No, no. We just need the two of you to go through this slowly, and not just in one night.”
“How do we do that?”
”For starters, you won’t continue with that for the rest of the night.”
“It’s that bad?” You question.
”Besides the sheets are starting to get ruined, and she blames herself over it?”
“I get it, anything else you need to tell me?”
”Just continue on what the two of you guys were doing earlier today.”
“Just talk and hang out?”
”Exactly, nothing brings a couple closer by getting to know each other.” Something inside of you just screams out dumbass. ”She also told me on how the two of you think of me.” You run for the couch and grab the box cushion out.
“That was at the time! I swear, I actually envy you for what you did, and everything that you’ve done for me!” You grab a second one to cover the lower part of your body.
”Calm down. I’m not mad.” You peek over the cushion. ”I’m just upset about how today is going.” You lower the one covering your chest. ”It’s no wonder on why I can’t manage to keep a relationship by myself.”
You pot both of the box cushions back on the couch. “But, you’re the one with experience, and you’ve dated some guys in the past.”
”Did you ever notice how long they lasted?”
You think this over and remember the longest one that lasted was over a week. “You were picky, every time you would tell us, it was because of them.”
”I lied about that, okay? They were the ones to end it, not me.”
“Wait, what about your experience ?“
”The lonely nights were longer than they should be.”
You scratch your junk. “Sorry, there was an itch.”
”Yeah, let’s get you guys dressed up.”
After a bit of time, you tossed the bed sheets in the washer and get some clothes on. When Fluttershy was told about the news, she was a bit broken. After a realization on what happened, Fluttershy was in shock. She was debating if she made the worst decision of her life, but balanced it when comparing it to Rainbow. ”I beat Rainbow Dash?”
”Fluttershy!” She jumps as her name is yelled out. ”We still need to make sure you guys won’t make the same mistake as I did.”
“Which was communication and understanding the other?”
”That, and try not to act on how I did.” That had to sting for her.
“We won’t.”
”Seeing that you guys are...” She takes her time. ”Better at this than I am, it’s clear to me that you won’t need my help.”
”What if, we can help each other?”
“What do you mean?”
”We could always go to her for advice, while we do the same for her.”
"Fluttershy, I don’t think it’ll work.” Rainbow replies.
”You said that everything takes time, right?” Fluttershy asks.
Rainbow Dash scratches her arm. ”Yeah, I did.”
“So now’s the time that we help you.” You grab out some romance-comedy movies and watch a couple of them, trying to learn if there are any tips.
After the second one has ended, Rainbow stands up and slams her hands on the table. ”That’s it!?”
“Yes, that’s it.”
”That was a load of steaming hot shit!” Rainbow shouts out.
”I actually liked it.”
You look at Fluttershy and remember she’s the strong feminine type of girl. “Let’s not do this again. How about we just take a break?” You get up and walk into the kitchen. “There is the lasagna my mom made, so we could eat that.”
”I don’t know, it’s kind of getting late.”
“Are you sure, not for a bite?” They look at each other and nod.
”I guess I can go for some.”
”Mmhmm.”
Dinner was like how it was back at the burger store, awkward and roughly a conversation went on. If this is going to be from now on, it will take on some getting used to. At least none of you ate much, so that speed it up. ”Hey Anon, you wanna see Fluttershy’s home?” Fluttershy taps Rainbow’s shoulder.
“I would like to.”
”Um, D-dash?”
”Hold on.” They get up and walk into the hallway. You can hear them having a conversation, but it’s very low.
”…you know how…”
”She’s not… …fine, trust me.”
”I don’t know, m-maybe….”
"Just for tonight, and then we’re done.” They walk back in. ”Heh, sorry about that, let’s get a move on before we get in even more trouble.”
For twenty minutes, the three of you were walking through the suburbs to finally get to Fluttershy’s home. It’s nothing special, but it does have that classic Cape Cod design. You notice one of the curtains sway a bit before the front door opens. ”Finally! Just where have you—“ The woman at the front door steps out and slowly approaches you. Telling by the wrinkles on her face and the slight bits of gray in her hair, she seems to be in her late fifties. When you look lower, you can see her bust is drooping a bit. She slaps you across the face. ”Pervert!” She gets her bathrobe together and tightens the belt that was drooping over. ”Who is this?” She asks while pointing at you.
”That’s my b-boyfriend.”
The woman reveals even more wrinkles when she looks amazed. ”Oh, no, no, what have I’ve done.” She puts a hand on her head, while slowly falling down. Fluttershy and Rainbow get on each side and keep her up. ”I let this happen. I knew this day was going to happen.”
“What’s going on?”
They struggle to keep her standing. ”I knew I should’ve home schooled you when your parents passed away.”
“Someone, please, tell me, what’s wrong.”
The woman is infuriated and looks directly at your eyes. ”What’s wrong? You!” She moves an arm out to point a finger at you. ”You’re the problem here!” She starts to slip, but you catch her. ”Let go of me!” She pushes away from you and brushes her robe.
”Fluttershy, what’s going on?”
”Um, i-it’s about—“
”A promise I’ve made ever since she was a girl, and I don’t plan on breaking it today.” She walks away and stands at the doorway. ”Come on!”
Fluttershy steps forward, but stops to turn around. ”I-I’m so sorry Anon. We did have fun, r-right?”
“Yeah… We did.” You kick the ground and put your hands in your pockets.
”I hope that, we can still be friends and see each other at school.”
“Of course, why wouldn’t we?” You say to lighten the mood. She gives you a weak smile before hugging you.
”What? That’s it?”
”Rainbow—“
”That’s how it goes out!? All of that, taken away by your own aunt?” Wait, aunt? Rainbow drops her bag and sprints to the door As she’s talking to Fluttershy’s aunt, they bicker on something. It doesn’t look good from here, since they’re constantly yelling out while pointing at you. ”Anon! Get over here!” You leave Fluttershy behind and meet up with Rainbow.
”Is it true? Do you actually love her?” The woman sternly asks you. You look back to see Fluttershy playing with her backpack. ”Is it a yes or a no?”
“Yes, ma’am.” You answer. Rainbow Dash nods when she looks at her.
”And they had fun?”
“Yup, I’ve never seen Fluttershy this happy before.” Rainbow Dash replies.
The woman gives out a tiresome yawn. ”Anything bad happened to her?”
You’re anxious as fuck when you think she’s going to rat you out. Rainbow Dash keeps her cool when looking at her. ”No, I witnessed every moment with them. I think they’ll be fine.” She inspects Rainbow’s face before calling out for Fluttershy.
Just as Fluttershy’s name is called out, she runs for it and stops right beside you. ”Y-yes?”
”As much that I wanted to, I can’t keep you as a little girl forever. Life will go on, no matter how well I’ll protect you. The old must let the young continue on with their lives. That’s why I’m now letting you see… him, as much that you like.”
Before you speak up, Fluttershy hugs you by surprise. ”Thank you so much, Auntie!”
“Thanks.” You politely say.
”Now come inside, it’s still a school night.” She pecks you on the cheek before going inside.
”Are you sure about this?” Fluttershy's aunt asks Rainbow Dash.
”Trust me, I’ll be watching.”
“Wait, Rainbow Dash is going to watch us?”
”Yes, there are a few people that I trust in this world with Fluttershy. Her friends are among that list. You’re going to take a certain time to be trusted with this by yourself. Until then, I’m relying on Rainbow Dash here to make sure you don’t break her heart.”
Does this mean that you’re trapped? Whatever.
”The two of you can go now, I expect good things out of you, child.” You and Rainbow step away from the door, letting her to close it.
”So… looks like you’re stuck with me for a while.” Rainbow rubs in.
“Looks like it.” The phone in your pocket buzzes. You bring it out and look at a new message.
’It’s great that we are still together! I promise that the next time I see you, I won’t back out! <3 ~Fluttershy’
”Who is it?” Your phone gets taken away by Rainbow Dash. ”Ohhh boy, round two looks promising.” You grab it back and walk away. ”Hey,” You turn back around. ”Like I said, I’m sorry for being all…”
“Annoying?” You finish off her sentence.
”Hey! I wouldn’t call it that. I would rather call it, um, bothersome.”
“That’s still the same thing.”
”Whatever, I’ll see you tomorrow.” She grabs her duffel bag and straps it to her shoulder.
”And bring yourself another condom.”
“What if I don’t?”
”Trust me, it will be better for all of us if you do so. You DON’T want to get on her bad side.” She waives at you before heading across the street. You expected much from Rainbow, but not like that. You run home before your parents could ever figure out you were gone.
