Her Roommate's brother

Twilight and Shadey stood out of the local Cafe where she told her brother they would meet them Shadey saw Twilight and grinned.

"You know Twilight Shadow is a huge sucker for girls with glasses." She grins Twilight turns beat red she looks at Shadey embarresed.

"Wh...when's he getting here Shadey." She stutters "You said he'd meet us here." She says Shadey looks around and see's a bus pulling up and off steps a boy with the look of a eight teen to nineteen look she smiles widely.

"There he is he's here!" She shouts and darts to him he looks at her and grins she goes to tackle but he grabs her and puts her in an headlock and rubs his knuckle on her head.

"Still trying to one up me huh Shadey." He says he let's go and she bears hugs him and nods he takes off he glasses and revealing he sapphire eyes and hugs back.

"Oh Shadow when I got your letter I couldn't bealeve it I haven't seen you since I moved here." She says still hugging him he laughs and hugs her tighter.

" Well you know me baby sis when I make a promise." He says she looks up and smiles "I you always keep it." They say together he spots Twilight and stares at her beauty.

"Who's that angel." He says Shadey looks and seen who he was talking about.

"That's my roommate and ahh!" Thunder strikes and she jumps up in Shadow's arms they look up to see rain coming. "Damnit not again....." she says shaking he look at her and chuckles.

" Aww still scared of thunderstorms I see." He says holding her close the three head back to the library and relax

Twilight was reading a book in the loft Shadey had gone to bed early and Shadow was right beside her reading also, she would look up occasionally and saw him reading he would look up and give a friendly smile to her she smiled back finally she broke the silence.

"So Shadow magic whats it like being away from home so much don't you have kids a guy your age must get a lot of girl's?" She says he looks up and grins smile and nods no

"No I'm not married or have children but....I would to thou especially a daughter." He says smiling at the thought. Twilight giggled at him in approval and thought of another question .

"So what was Shadey like as a baby you to seem to be really close are you her oldest brother of  you to?" She asks Shadow nods no and Twilight looks at her book blushing.

"No I'm her only brother when our dad bailed I was around three and she was born."

Shadow paused at the thought of his dad and got up "excuse me for a moment." He says and walks out side when Twilight peaked out she saw him being pelted by the rain.

'Must be tough on him to talk about it.' She thought she went to check on Aurora who was fast asleep snuggling a Teddy bear her boyfriend gave her. She went back in the loft and saw Shadow fast asleep on the coach.

Twilight woke up to hearing yelling she knew Shadow would not yell but she already knew who it was, walking down the hall she saw a man and Shadey yelling at each other when she saw him raise a hand and slapped her that's when she heard Shadow's voice chime in.

"HEY!" He yelled as he tackled the guy to the ground "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE HITTING MY SISTER!" He said while pulling his fist back punching him square in the mouth the man got up and walked out the library .
