Chapter 1: Conquest of Flames
Spitfire was out in forest that was a few miles outside of Ponyville, trying to get away from all the work that being a Wonderbolt brought. She had spoken with her friend Lyra about using her parents’ cabin in the forest, and the unicorn was more than happy to oblige. It took Spitfire a few minutes to follow the crudely drawn map that Lyra had given her, but she was finally able to find the cabin. Giving a sigh of relief after finding the cabin, Spitfire walked inside and tossed her bag haphazardly to the side.

She would never allow the other Wonderbolts see her drinking these, but these were her favorite drink of all. Finding the shaker in a cabinet below the sink, she grabbed it and noticed a little spider. Quirking a brow, she leaned a little closer to see what kind of spider it was.
The spider was about the size of a tarantula and had short white hairs that gave him a fluffy look. Spitfire made note of the red ring that was on his abdomen, indicating that his sex was most definitely male. Pursing her lips a little, she leaned in closer to the spider. Spitfire spent her time between sipping her margarita and looking at the few books that were on the coffee table in front of her.
