Author's Note

Sorry for the long wait for this chapter I had a small writers block but i'm good now. I'll continue to try to update daily or every 2 days if I can't or if something happens. Do keep in mind that I don't update on weekends because that gives me time to unwind and think of different chapters and different books to add to this series.

Chapter 7 - First Encounter

The train ride, similar to how it was broken down at Canterlot was long and boring to its next destination. However what was suspicious to Piercing and Golden was how they were the only ponies in the train as a passenger. Piercing got up to make an announcement the rest starred at him while he spoke with no interruptions.

“Okay everypony, don’t you find it odd that WE are the only ponies aboard this train?” Piercing asked getting some mixed answers within the crowd. He rolled his eyes in frustration.

“Never mind I’ll go talk to the conductor.” Piercing left the train cart leaving the rest alone Golden didn’t bother following him.

“So ladies...”

“NO!!!” They all yelled at him.

“You all don’t even know what I was going to say.” Golden pouted.

“Fine, we’ll hear your request.” Twilight said putting down a book.

“Truth or Dare?” Golden asked.

“NO!!!” They repeated in unison.

“Never-I-Ever?” Golden requested again

“NO!!!”

“Pony-Hunt?” Golden was running out of games to play.

“NO!!!” They repeated once more.

“Would you consider to just sit in a circle and talk about our daily lives?” Golden’s ‘Final Solution’.

“You mean our personal secrets that won’t leave this train cart?” Sunset asked.

“Yes.” Golden stated motioning the girls to get in the circle with him.

So after some force and some pressuring the girls formed a circle and the one to tell the secrets would be in the middle of the circle similar to a spotlight being paced upon them. Sunset went first… (What can go wrong?)

“Okay Sunbutt is first.” Yelled Rainbow Dash practically bouncing out of her seat similar to Pinkie Pie’s hyperactive self.

Sunset being put in the middle of the circle didn’t help her situation however being surrounded by friends and her loved one made it seem as if they were at a party and they were just talking casually.

“Okay deep secret… Let’s see… Sunset pondered at her thoughts but some were TOO PERSONAL to be discussed however Golden can tell that see was trying to avoid what happened this morning. He gave out a sly smirk as he poked the bear in it cage, roughening it up.

“So Sunset care to explain a secret that I and Piercing know about that you don’t want to talk about?” Golden was going into wrong territory but he didn’t seem to care, he was having too much fun with this.

Sunset’s body turned white from hearing this she knew that he and Piercing knew about her and Twilight’s ‘moment’ together. This made the current situation overwhelming for her as she was caught in a trap set by Golden. “No words eh? Fine I guess I’ll say it if you won’t Princess.” Golden offered but she put her hoof out.

“I’ll say it since you are so eager to know Golden Arrow.” Sunset said in the most firm voice she can deliver out but in reality she was both scared and nervous at the same time. She looked to Twilight who didn’t seem to be paying attention so she took to opportunity to tell them before she could make sense of the conversation.

Sunset gave a big sigh then spoke clear and monotone, “Twilight and I engaged in some ‘activities’ this morning. It was very… Wonderful, I cannot express or begin to explain the situation but all I know is that even though I did literally most of the ‘work’ in the ‘activity’ It was special to both me and Twilight.”

There she said it but she smiled as if relieving a large weight off of her shoulders she just needed to branch it out to somepony a clear mind for Sunset was joyous in her own favor. However it was short lived when she got confusing looks from each and every pony in that room excluding Golden who was laughing at how she explained it.

Rainbow sat up and spoke for the group. “So you two courted?”

Sunset’s jaw hung open, ‘How did she know what courting means?’

Sunset was about to speak out loud in a frantic manner but kept her composure; calm and collected. “Yes.” Was the only word she muttered out respectfully while she wanted to speak other words but they were too ‘explicit’ for this type of conversation.

Twilight over heard the conversation and hid her blush from the girls and guy in her book burying her face in the book she was reading.

Rainbow Dash put a hoof on Sunset’s shoulder, smiling, “Biggest milestone that any of us could reach right now good job the both of you
and congrats on your next level of your relationship.”

Again it was now Twilight’s turn to drop her jaw… Rainbow spoke perfectly calm and collected, no dumb response, no vulgar word to be found in any word that she said just now, it was as if she wasn’t Rainbow Dash at all.

Pinkie jumped in front of both Twilight and Sunset as Sunset returned next to her mate. “So Sunset, how was she in bed? Was she good and tight?”

Silence if there was one word to describe what happened after that was complete silence. Golden looked down at himself and saw something that he didn’t want the others to see he covered himself with a nearby pillow. The girls were confused but then they turned their attention to Pinkie Pie who was on the ground next to Twilight with a stun Arrow to her neck, sending pulse after pulse of electricity through her body paralyzing her.

“Thank you.” Twilight said examining the unconscious Pinkie before her. She was alright for the most part.

Piercing came back from the front of the train shortly after. He examined the scene that was before him. Golden hiding his ‘member’ with a pillow, Pinkie unconscious next to Twilight with an arrow in her neck pumping electricity into her, and the rest of the girls confused and attempting to get the arrow out of Pinkie Pie. He sighed and sat on the corner of the room watching the scene unfold. Piercing was about to speak went he notice a few griffons flying next to the train. The rest of them observed them as they flew closer and closer to the train cart.

Piercing then remembered what Celestia said during the briefing.

“Yellow and Black represent rebels, they are a threat to you, use deadly force if nessecery. Blue are Royal Guards they are good, they will protect you with their life if you show no harm to them.

He looked at their markings and armor color. Yellow and Back… Piercing drew out his dart ready to attack he disappeared from the train cart unknown to his location by the griffons outside and the ponies inside. Golden saw how Piercing disappeared, these Griffons opposed as a threat. He summoned his combat armor and disappeared along with Piercing following his magic source. Once found Piercing told Golden to get down and wait for them to do something.

Just how Piercing awaiting for them to attack they did on cue. They began to ram the cart with such force that caused the entire train to derail of the tracks. The girls inside were screaming bloody murder as the train flipped to its side and skidded along the dirt. There was an explosion at the front of the train, the engine room, the girls were panicking around the lopsided train cart the rebel griffons were about to attack the girls until a few darts stopped the griffons in their tracks. They looked around but saw no source of the weapons jabbed into the dirt in front of them.

Three more darts came this time they didn’t see it coming from the left side. One dart began to rotate rapidly mid-air, when it hit one of the griffons it completely destroyed his wing entirely, shredding the bones within. When it hit the skin that was the fatality. The dart, stilling rotating, within his body teared through the tissue with ease and ripped through the bones, and any vital organ that was in its path. The death of the griffon that was hit was instantaneous.

Golden shot three arrows in the air above them. They dropped at high speeds then each split into three more making 9 arrows rain down hitting the rest of them causing both lethal and severe damage to each griffon their death was longer and more painful as they tried to remove the arrows from their bodies.

The girls exited from the wrecked but was stopped by one last griffon who was determined to kill the two Princesses. As he was about to lunge the girls braced for the worst but they each took a peak and saw a more larger dart through his neck, the blood exiting the griffon’s body was similar to a small geyser sprouting out. The griffon fell to his side dead. Golden and Piercing re-appeared in front of the girls combat ready.

“We need to keep moving I’m not sure that’s the last time we’ll be meeting their kind.”

The girls didn’t argue and follow closely behind Golden and Piercing weapons drawn, acting as mobile sentries to protect the girls on their path to the Griffon Kingdom.
