The majestic white alicorn stood watching over her kingdom. Her ears perked up as she heard someone walk in. Turning around she saw that it was only her sister.

“Why hello, Luna,” the alicorn greeted.

        “Hello, Celestia,” Luna replied solemnly.

        “Is there something wrong sister.”

“There’s something that's been troubling me for quite some time. I’ve thought about it for some time and I think its time you know.”

        “What it is sister?

“Tia I wish to break off into my own kingdom”

        “But sister”

“I own nothing,” Luna said ignoring her sister,” do nothing of importance, All I do is watch over ponies useless dreams and scare people at Nightmare Night. True, I raise the moon, but you’ve proven that you don’t need me to control the moon. Plus, there are many who rejoice in my night yet they are shunned and forced to stay in the light. I’m sorry big sister, but I have to leave for the good of Equestria.”

“Be careful, Luna, remember what happened when you walked down this road before.”

“Don’t worry I don’t wish to control the day and the night; I just wish to own my kingdom. I do not wish for another dispute. We can still coexist, Your people will stay out during the night and your subjects will stay out in the light.”

“I’m sorry I can’t let you do this, I don’t want to lose you again, besides it's not right. they’ve lived in peace for so many years to take that away from them now....” there was hurt in Celestias voice

“Why don’t we let the ponies decide for themselves what is right and wrong. Who are you to say what it is best for the ponies. Who says that Equestria isn’t ready for something new and different. What if they would like a new empire. Something different.”

“I see I can’t suade you otherwise, you may go. I just ask you once again to reconsider what you are doing” pleaded Celestia

“I’ve had a thousand years to reconsider, and I have made my mind. I’m sorry but this is Goodbye” With that Luna trotted out.
