Her head hurt, and she didn’t know where she was, or how she’d got there. She tried to lift herself up, but when she did, she felt a searing pain rush through her chest, paralysing her completely. She fell back to the ground, shaking, and her vision blurred, as she slowly eyed the ropes that bound her to a cold, metal bed. She slowly moved her hoof and gently poked her rib cage. It felt as if a thousand sharp needles were piercing into her skin. She drew her hoof back, and carefully turned around, looking for any sign of life in the dull room she had woken up in. She shook her head to clear her vision, and realised that she was in a laboratory… and she was not alone. She looked to her left, and saw a green pony with a piano cutie mark. The pony’s mane was in a terrible state, and his back was bleeding terribly. Prim could also see another pony, but he was too far away for Prim to tell who he was. She looked to her right, and gasped in horror to see her old friend from pony school lying in a bed next to her, Cinos. His pure white body was covered in blood, and his face was terribly bruised. Prim almost choked, half from fear of him, and half from fear that she was going to lose him to whoever had done this. Prim reached her hoof over towards him, but was unable to stretch it far enough to reach him. She couldn’t tell if he was awake, since his face was covered in blood, but she hoped he was. Prim was devastated, and as she stretched, she noticed that the pretty pink bow on her head was torn, and covered in blood. Suddenly, Prim heard a voice coming from across the room… a laugh. She sat bolt upright, ignoring the gasp, which she managed to swallow. Prim heard Cinos moving beside her, but didn’t dare move. Suddenly, a black pony with a long, green mane stepped out of the darkness. Prim stared in horror, as the pony stepped into a small shaft of light, and Prim saw the long, purple scar covering the pony’s eye. “You have failed me… I am quite disappointed in you the most, Cinos.” The black pony spoke in a deep, rough voice. The pony padded over to Cinos, and said a few inaudible words, before drawing back. “Who are you?! And why are our memories so… muddled up!” One of the ponies to Prim’s left shouted, spitting blood in the sinister pony’s face. “Are you the cause for our insane forms?!” Prim froze, as she began to slowly remember what had happened… the black pony continued to talk, but Prim wasn’t listening. She had been taken… her family… just as Prim began to remember, she felt sharp needles stab at her from the inside, just like before, but worse. Her blood began to boil, and she felt her insane form coming on, when all of a sudden a brown pony appeared out of nowhere. The ropes holding her down sizzled away and the strange pony grabbed her hoof, and dragged her away from the strange room. She briefly saw Cinos beside her, running as fast as he could with his injuries, and another pony that she recognised, possibly Derpy Hooves from Ponyville, dragging the two other ponies with her, while holding a strange screwdriver in her mouth. Prim felt sick, but managed to keep up the pace, with a little encouragement. “Come on, Primson Rose! Run!” Derpy shouted over the roar of the beast behind her. A few seconds later, they were all being flung around inside a weird blue box. Prim threw up, and unable to keep herself together, blacked out. /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ /)(\ Prim awoke in a strange house… it looks almost like a tree! She looked around, and saw a purple pony standing in front of her. She slowly got up, and to her surprise, her chest didn’t hurt as much as it had before. She looked down, and gasped when she saw bandages that had not been there before, and smiled happily when she saw that her beloved bow, a gift from her mother, had been fixed. “Did you fix my bow? And give me these bandages?” Prim asked the pony, who was smiling politely. “No, I gave you the bandages, but that’s all… oh, by the way my names Twilight Sparkle. I’m glad you’re ok!” Twilight said, walking over to Prim and giggling. “Really? Thanks Twilight! Nice to meet you, too!” Prim said, admiring the neat stitching on her bow, and looking around at the weird house, which now that she looked closer, looked like a library. “What happened back there?” Prim asked curiously, carefully sitting down, still unsure about how badly her ribs were bruised. “Well, you see…” Twilight was about to answer, when the door to the bedroom where Prim had woken up was flung open, and Cinos stood before her, the blood cleaned of his body, and his black mane glossy in the sunlight, and his jaw, which seemed broken, bandaged up. Prim felt a rush of relief mixed with a few other feeling rush through her body, and she smiled happily. Cinos walked over to Twilight, looking into her eyes. “I’m sorry for what I did here… and I will do anything to put it right.” Cinos said in a deep voice. Suddenly, Twilight threw her arms around Cinos. “It’s ok, everyone makes mistakes!” Twilight said, hugging Cinos, being careful not to touch his jaw. Cinos blushed a bright shade of red, and looked at Prim. She blushed too, turning her head, and refusing to look at the sick scene that was evolving before her, giving a small cough to conceal her feelings. Cinos walked over to Prim and seemed about to say something, when Twilight interrupted. “The brown pony said something about something going wrong… in the timeline… you guys know anything about it?” Twilight asked. “Sorry, but I really don’t know anything.” Prim spoke, shaking her head from side to side, and pushing her other thoughts to the back of her brain. They chatted for a while, something about anti-elements… Prim looked out the window, and watched as it slowly rained… chocolate. Discord… Prim thought. Suddenly, her eyes flew wide open, and she began to remember… she had heard the term, anti-element before… “Wait! Does one of the elements look green and have a bat-like shaped container?” Prim asked, spinning around to face the two ponies. “Yeah… one of them does, how do you know?” Twilight asked. “Oh god.” Prima and Cinos said in unison. That element… she had seen it before… that pony… Ok guys, thanks for reading this little story. This is based on the story by adventureflame (Empire), which is based on the show, my little pony.
