Rise Of The Shadow

Back in the day,when Nightmare Moon secretly ruled Equestria,she had a daughter named Shadow that nobody has ever heard about,because Nightmare knew,that if she would tell anypony from her school about her mother,Nightmare's location would be revealed,and Celestia would defeat her and the powerful villain would be banished to the Moon again.

Years went by,and Shadow became a teen,which means that she can become a student of princess Celestia,and hopefully after some time become a princess herself.

-Darling,are you sure you want to study with Celestia,that sneaky and evil "Princess",who banished me to the Moon, and become a princess yourself?Isn't it enough that your mother is a powerful villain?-Nightmare Moon asked.

-I really appreciate your power and all but..I want something more,-Shadow answered quietly.

-I understand.It's your life,and you choose what to do.After all,you're already thirteen,I can't treat you like a baby anymore.

-Thanks!I thought you wouldn't understand.Wish me luck!

Shadow finally reached the castle,where Celestia teaches unicorn teenagers .She walked in the building,it looked fancy.She has never been to such a big castle.Shadow entered the room,where the princess usually spends her day with the students.

-Hello,ummm Princess Celestia?-fearfully asked Shadow.

-Yes?Is there anything I can help you with?

-Umm I wanted to become a student of yours,is there any space for me left?

-You're lucky today!There's only one student I was missing!Oh,and what's your name,kid?

-I'm uh..Well...S-shadow.

-And your surname?

-Moon..uh..Moonlianno.Shadow Moonlianno!That is my full name.- Shadow got out of a very bad situation.

-Oh.Good.I almost thought you said Moon.

-Yeah...Right.

After some time,Shadow became an alicorn.It was time for her final test.If she would pass the test,she would become The Princess Of Harmony.

-My dear Shadow,this is your final test,-gladly said Celestia.-You have to raise the Sun,and lower the Moon at the same time.We don't want the night to take over,do we?

"How DARES she to talk about the night like this?After all,I have to rule the Moon!"-Shadow thought.

-Umm,that would be such an honor!-cheerfully lied.

-Go ahead.

Shadow raised her horn,used her magic to lower the Moon,that wasn't too difficult.But then she had to raise the Sun.She tried her best,but her horn wouldn't listen.She tried even harder,even screamed,but it didn't work.

"How can I fail like this?It's just a stupid sun!Even Snips and Snails could do this,but I can't!I feel some sort of magic,that doesn't allow me to raise the Sun.."

Celestia ran out of patience.

-You can't do this,you're too weak!-the princess screamed.

Shadow understood that all the years of studying was for nothing.

-But...But...Give me one more minute to try!

-No,Shadow.You failed.I have chosen another Princess Of Harmony.She did this no problem.

-WHO IS SHE???

-Twilight Sparkle.-calmly explained Celestia.-Now,let me invite you to the coronation.

The magic,that didn't allow her to raise the Sun came right from Twilight's horn.Twilight wanted to rule.

"Dear diary,today is a special day for me.I am gonna become the Princess Of Harmony.Even though I had to cheat,to get that pesky Shade,or whatever is her name out of the way.I can finally rule,thanks to my magic.Hopefully no one reads this,or else my status as a princess will be ruined.     -Twilight"

Twilight didn't know that she took her diary with her to she Spa,where she had to get ready for her coronation.Sadly,for Twilight,Shadow was in the same spa with her.They just ignored each other.

-Miss Aloe,I think I'm done with my massage,-Shadow said.

-Okay.You can go.

Shadow started searching through the lockers,and she found Twi's diary.She read the latest entry and got really mad.

"WHAT?!Too bad I can't stop her,Celestia won't believe me even if I show her the evidence."

-I am so pleased to be in this ceremony.I really wanted to beome a princess,since I was a little filly,-Twilight started talking.-And now,I can finally become one!Special thanks to my Mother,Twilight Velvet,who helped me all the time,and told me to attend the school of Celestia,also HUGE thanks to the allmighty princess Celestia,who made me a princess,oh,and thanks to all other students,that allowed me to rule.

Celestia slowly walked up to Twilight,and said:

-If there's anyone that disagrees with Twilight becoming The Princess Of Harmony,SHOW YOURSELVES!

Shadow teleported over to Celestia and screamed:

-I DO!AND YOU,"PRINCESS TWILIGHT" STOLE MY THRONE!I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE PRINCESS,NOT YOU!!!!YOU CHEATED!!!!!

-SHADOW,PLEASE CALM DOWN.You are just a bit too jealous!-Celestia defended Twilight.

-I'm not!

Shadow took the crown out of Celestias hooves and ran as fast as she possibly could.She located a room,but it was a dead end.There was only one mirror in the room,and it was too late to escape.

Celestia couldn't do anything,but she knew if she would go to the human world as an alicorn,it would be bad.Celestia turned Shadow into a real shadow,so that she can't bring too much harm to the humans.

-GAME OVER YOU THIEF!-Twilight screamed.

Shadow had nowhere to go.She just stepped backwards,and she walked into the mirror .Turns out,it wasn't a mirror,it was a secret portal to an alternate world.

-This portal...We have to destroy it for safety!-Celestia said.

The guards shattered the mirror into a million pieces,so that Shadow would never return.

-This will be like a punishment for her.She'll learn to respect The princess .

-But how about my magical crown?

-I'll get you another one.Just pretend this never happened....
