How much can change in two years?
For the Guardian, two years can drastically affect the outlook on life. From a brash, arrogant kid to a more mature, young adult, one thing is certain; he's getting better.
Yet despite his veteran status, even he could not have anticipated his unexpected return to Equestria, nor the dangers that arose with his arrival. For as he celebrates reuniting with old friends, dark forces gather that threaten to tear the world to pieces. It will take all of his abilities and his trust in his friends in order to combat this evil.

Well, here it is. The result of nearly three months of continuous writing. This work was initially inspired by Dawen123's When Chaos Stirs, A Tale of Two Worlds, on Fanfiction.net. As such, it serves as an alternate-universe sequel to it; I recommend reading the story in order to get an understanding of how the characters' relationships play out.
This is a crossover story with the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, so if you don't like these kind of stories, you may not want to read this.
HOWEVER, this also contains allusions to works I have not yet published. This is more of a test run to see if I have the ability to write a long novel. Therefore, while I reference stories and adventures in the past, that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be writing them, at least on this site (most of these stories I have in mind take place in alternate universes NOT of the MLP fandom). Any questions asked I will try to answer to the best of my abilities.
This is my first story on this site, so feel free to leave suggestions and advice in the comments below.
I may end up writing the aforementioned unknown stories in the future; but it will take a while before I am ready to publish them.

Without further ado, I present to you the brain child of being a Sonic fan, a new MLP fan, and a writer for several years. I hope you enjoy the story.
