Chapter One: An Odd Departure
"Lyra, you can't be serious!" Bon Bon cried, staring at her long time friend in disbelief. She followed the mint green unicorn mare as she trotted around the house gathering up things she prepared for her journey, to leave Ponyville.
Lyra turned to her friend, a cream colored earth pony mare with a blue/pink mane color that had curls and smelled like candy. "Oh I'm deadly seriously, Bonny. I'm doing this." She said with adamantly towards her childhood friend before turning about face and continuing her hunt for her things.
"B-but why do this? This isn't because of that silly myth about hoo-mans is it?" The mare asked, smiling nervously.
"Its Human, Bonny, not hoo-man." Lyra corrected Bon Bon with a scholar like tone as she picked up a compass and put it into the back of her saddlebag. "And its not silly!"
Bon Bon heaved a sigh of frustration. "Lyra this is stupid! There's no such thing as hoo-mans or humans or whatever you call them! Its just a foals tale!"
