You won't have anyone to play with today, so please be on your best behavior for Mrs.Cake and I'll make you your favorite punch when I get home tonight!" Pinky pie smiled at her compromise and stroked Gummy's back before she bounced to her bag and placed it in her teeth and then bouncing out the door. Gummy just stared at the door blinking his eyes every few moments before he got bored and turned around to face the counter at Mrs.Cake. He stared directly at her and his gaze was unmoving as if trying to penetrate her consciousness. Mrs. Cake was busy making dough for some sweet bread and she was lost in her work. After a few moments she could feel Gummy's eyes staring right at her and she stopped immediately to stare back at Gummy. Mrs.Cake was starting to obtain nervous tension as she looked at the alligator and couldn't continue her work. "I don't see why Pinkamena keeps such an unsettling pet i mean really she could-" Mrs.Cake's voice trailed off as she moved into the kitchen. Gummy was alone and everything was quiet in the room, he just stood in his place doing nothing. A few moments later the floor opened up in front of him and a screen came up from the void space, it was a pony on the screen wearing an eye patch with his white coat and his short dark mane. " Agent Gummy we need your help! There is a scientist gone mad in Ponyville and the scientist wants to harm everyone in your area. You're the only one qualified for this mission, you depart immediately, the fate of Ponyville rests in your hands!" The commander was worried but his face looked confident having trust in his best agent. Gummy just stared blankly at the screen, the door opened up under him; taking him through a tunnel heading directly downwards. After a few moments of falling he landed in a mazda-mx-5's drivers seat, and going through the tunnel he was dressed in a single-breasted dinner jacket, heavy silk shirt, thin double-ended black satin tie. The car came to life as Gummy landed within it and started talking."Welcome agent Gummy it's a privilege to work with you again sir." The car said while an arm emerged from the driver door and laid black-tinted sunglasses on Gummy's head. "Shall we begin agent Gummy?" Gummy started gnawing on the steering wheel. "Oh! Don't worry agent gummy, just sit back and relax as I take us to our destination. Please enjoy the ride." The car gave a loud roar and sped forward. After a few moments of driving the commander came on radio. "Hello again agent Gummy and hello Dawn Cruise. Your destination is being altered to pick up a companion for agent Gummy, I know hes the best agent we have but he needs back-up. Sending destination link now. Good luck, Eye Patch, out." "Destination link obtained, changing course, destination underway." Dawn Cruise turned left and started driving on a narrow dirt road. Gummy was moving his tail to show his enjoyment of the speeding ride.

'Hes our best agent, he'll be fine...' Even attempting to reassure himself in his mind he couldn't shake the feeling. '.. Maybe I should call back-up even a great agent like Gummy can't handle every situation.' Eye Patch turned to his monitor and started typing in numbers, it was dead silent in his office, only the noise of the clopping of his hooves on the keyboard slightly echoed in the room. "AppleBloom!" AppleJack was scowling at her little sister. "Ah that ah told ya' not harvest any of the western trees in the orchard!" AppleBloom was looking downward at her hooves, making a circle in the dirt with her front right hoof. "Ah'm sorry sis, ah was just caught up in work and forgot about what you told me earlier..." AppleJack sighed. "That's just fine ah appreciate hard work here but you also have to learn how to listen, ah cant have ya' working on the farm like that. Well it's no big deal i just have to organize today's harvest and start up tomorrows numbers." AppleJack trotted into the barn to get the delay dealt with. 'It's a good thing I don't plan to work here the rest of mah life.' AppleBloom thought to herself. AppleBloom's bow started shaking and she immediately tapped her hoof on the right tip of her big red bow. A mini screen popped out in front of AppleBloom from the bow and had Commander Eye Patch on the screen. "Agent AppleBloom." Eye Patch kept his calm composure. "Sir!" AppleBloom was dedicated to her real job. "There is a grave danger creeping up on Ponyville and i sent out best agent on the job." "Agent 700?" AppleBloom had only heard rumors about him. "Yes, even though hes our best im certain he could use your talents so im assigning you as his partner for this mission. Start heading towards Rendezvous point delta, we are counting on you and agent 700, Eye Patch. Out." AppleBloom thought of what agent 700 would be like. 'He's got to be tall, dark, and handsome and muscular. Ah've heard so much about him i hope the rumors are true' AppleBloom blushed at these thoughts but shook her head to rid herself of the blush. 'ah shouldn't be thinkin' like that, it's not fair to spike.' AppleBloom walked into the apple orchard. AppleBloom was searching all around slowly backing up into a tree, she kicked the tree and it opened up. AppleBloom entered the tree's secret door, she slid down a slide that opened up after she pressed a button that had ' delta' printed on it. After the ride she walked down a narrow corridor that led towards a ladder that she climbed and met the light of day. She dusted herself of any dirt that was on her mane. She appeared in a clearing just outside the orchard and was standing next to a dirt road when she saw the car coming her way. She stood up tall and adjusted her stance and closed her eyes as the car rolled up beside her and opened up. She opened her eyes expecting a stallion to be in the drivers seat but almost did a double-take as she saw it was someone she had never expected; it was Pinkie Pie's pet alligator Gummy. The car's voice roared with the engine. "Salutations agent 816." AppleBloom's surprised expression turned into a smile. "Hello Dawn Cruise its a pleasure to meet the agents most trusted member." AppleBloom hopped into the passenger seat and extended her hoof at Gummy. "Who knew such a close friend would be the agency's best!" Gummy just stared forward at the flashing buttons on Dawn Cruise completely ignoring AppleBloom. AppleBloom frowned and stared forward as well. "Don't worry agent AppleBloom, agent Gummy is used to working alone he will come around eventually." Dawn Cruised roared his engine and sped off. "We need to find the location of our target, Dr. BlastBurn, he is a scientist that worked in Ponyville and used his genius to solve problems with the pegasus clouds and earth pony crops. We have almost no information on Dr.BlastBurn because he worked in secret and despised social occasions, we only have an area in which he may be residing. Setting course for the outskirts of Ponyville. Destination underway, enjoy the ride agents." Dawn Cruise turned on the radio to a song to entertain the agents on the journey. "Doctor Blast Burn, we have been alerted about the agencies movement, we fear they have already discovered our operation." The pony that said this was hidden in the shadow. "Do not worry my dear, I planned that they would figure us out as soon as possible." A sinister smile showed through the darkness." I have already taken action towards this and im certain they sent their best agent; agent 700. He wont be able to stop us, especially since his days are numbered." Dr. Blast Burn turned towards another pony in the dark. "Prêt nos hommes."

The room's only light were the flashing screens of the computers with ponies constantly typing. "Très bon. Dites-leur que je vais être en panne peu de temps." Dr. BlastBurn replied coolly. "Oui docteur...." The pony had half way turned around before the doctor spoke up again. "S'il vous plaît me parler en anglais mon cher, je sais que c'est dur, mais à cause de la pratique s'il vous plaît le faire." "Yes dolctor, my appahlogeez." The pony had severe difficulty in speaking english. "That's a good dear. You are dismissed." The doctor playfully waved her off as she bowed and left the room. 'Thankfully i had learned french while working as a scientist for Ponyville so i could speak to my new most helpful allies.' The doctor shuddered after thinking about his time in Ponyville. 'Such a dreadful... ungrateful town..' Blast Burn was giving himself a headache thinking about such a touchy subject for him. 'Calm yourself... that town won't be standing for long...' He smirked as his headache went away at the thought. 'All of those times i had saved their flanks.. restored order when that mayor couldn't even think straight! Not once was i given credit for anything.. the mayor, the farmers, the pegasi, the other scientist had always taken my work and slapped their names on it like I didn't even exist!' Blast Burn took a deep breath that caught the attention of a pony working at a computer but turned back to the screen after looking at the doctor. 'All of the stressed they caused me to have sleepless nights.. I read so many books on what to do in these situations but none had an answer that applied to me. I read a book that insomnia could lead to insanity, that word.. used by my former partners who met..' The doctor chuckled to himself. 'A cruel fate. I think of myself not insane, but as misunderstood, soon they will all see things my way. Time to attend to my guests.' Doctor Blast Burn had headed for the exit, the light searing his eyes for a moment but then headed towards his elevator. "Coming up on destination, there appears to be a party, we assume that is Dr.Blast Burn's mansion." Dawn Cruise started slowing down. "Well ah suppose if we want to find out real information we need to go in that party ourselves." AppleBloom specialized in disguise and information probing. "Ah see ya already have your disguise on Gummy, glad to see you thought ahead." Gummy turned his head and stared at AppleBloom and then turned his attention back to Dawn Cruise's glowing dashboard. "Agent AppleBloom I took the liberty of choosing a party disguise for you. One moment please." The glove box in front of AppleBloom shifted slightly and folded out into arms that slid a dress over her head and then added a touch of make-up to her face. "Thank ya kindly Dawn." AppleBloom coughed and cleared her lungs of dust. "I mean.. Thank you Mr.Cruise for this lovely dress." She smiled as her voice changed from her normal country drawl to a more classy tone. "You're very welcome miss." Dawn Cruise always showed his manners to all agents. Dawn Cruise had slowly rolled up to the gates of the mansion where a gate-keeper awaited them. "Business?" "Expected party guests." AppleBloom replied coolly. "Enter." Dawn Cruise had parked along the driveway. "Okay agents, please contact me if there is any quarrel. Standby mode on." "Come along Gummy we need to get inside." Gummy broke out of his trance as Dawn Cruise's dash board flickered off and heard AppleBloom and obeyed a familiar voice and trailed beside her. "Once inside we should separate to gather as much information as possible. Good luck Gummy." They entered the mansion and AppleBloom took a left to blend in with the crowd. Gummy lost sight of AppleBloom so he stared ahead for a moment before hearing a pony call his name from a crowd and started making her way over. "Hullo Mr.Gummy, I ahm Elise. It is a pleasure to finally meet a man of your stature, I ave heard so much about you." Elise extended her hoof towards Gummy who promptly stared at it for a moment before biting it as his instinct told him to snap at anything close to him. Elise blushed and replied after taking her hoof back. " I had heard you were a ladies man , your reputation proceeds you. Shall we talk at a place more... quiet?" Elise smirked and turned around and waved her tail in Gummy's face at which he bit the tip and held on slightly levitated above the ground. He was led up a small flight of stairs to the mansions 2nd floor and Elise walked down a corridor that held several rooms and had entered the 1st room to the right. Inside the room Elise allowed Gummy on the bed and gave a slight shake to her tail for Gummy to release his grasp. Elise turned towards Gummy and slowly walked back. "Care for some champagne Mr.Gummy?" She turned and opened a closet. As Elise opened the closet two stallions emerged and slowly walked towards Gummy as Elise ran out the door after saying. "Have fun boys.. perhaps we could meet in the after-life Mr.Gummy." The Stallion on the right was the one to talk. "Okay agent Gummy, we can do this the short and painless way or the long and painful way." The two stallions closed in on Gummy with sinister looks on their faces. The stallion on the right fell to the ground with a thud and the stallion on the left turned around to see AppleBloom in a fighting stance with a spot of blood on the front of her right hoof. The stallion dived at AppleBloom, who effortlessly side-stepped and allowed the stallion to fall. AppleBloom followed up with a dive on her own and grabbing his back hoof so he couldn't regain his balance and broke his knee joint causing him to scream in pain for a moment before being silenced by a blow to the back of the head. "Consarnit! Looks like they know we were comin'!" AppleBloom picked up Gummy and laid him on her back after AppleBloom broke a window with a nearby chair in the room. AppleBloom jumped out of the window and started trotting towards the driveway. "Communicator on!" "Agent AppleBloom?" "Dawn start your engine they found us!" Dawn's engine roared as a posse of stallions almost broke the mansions front doors all yelling "Get them!" and "Don't let them escape!" AppleBloom dived into Dawn Cruise and he sped off away from the cursing stallions. (30 minuets earlier) The french pony tapped on Dr.Blast Burns shoulder and whispered the word "Ellipsis." "Excuse me my friends, i have pressing matters to attend to. Farewell." Dr. BlastBurn hurried off to his elevator being trailed by his assistant. He turned and gave his instructions."Everything is set. Go distract the agent and lead them to it." "Yes sir." The pony turned and went to a crowd to start a conversation. Dr.Blast Burn tapped impatiently on the elevator doors as he waited to head to his secret surveillance room. The elevator had stopped and he walked into a very small room that held several screens. "Have they arrived yet?" "No Sir." The surveillance pony was rotating cameras searching for the targets if he missed them. "Wait a moment.. I think that's them sir" he pointed at AppleBloom and Gummy. He flinched as he felt his chair being clenched and felt Blast Burn's arm shaking. (30 minuets later) The elevator door's slid open and a scared stallion walked into the room where Blast Burn spaced out at the screens. "S-s-sir... They escaped.." The stallion gulped as he saw Blast Burn turn around. "I know." A sound of thunder filled the room making the surveillance pony try to close both his eyes and his ears. "Agent AppleBloom I got the connection with your flash drive as soon as it was plugged in the computer, we got quite alot of information and I sent it to the commander, excellent work." Dawn Cruise was driving at a modest pace. "Thank ya Dawn, but ah think this mission got alot harder than before, now Dr. Blast Burn knows we are after him and now his security will just get tighter." AppleBloom was in a negative attitude. "You both did a fine job today and im sure the commander is proud and we will always find a way to finish the mission." "Yeah ah s'pose your right Dawn... its gettin' late do ya think you can drop me off by the farm?" "Of course agent AppleBloom." It was a short ride to Apple Orchards where AppleBloom departed from Gummy and Dawn Cruise. Dawn Cruise then took Gummy to the edge of Ponyville to keep his cover. Gummy was familiar with Ponyville for he had often wandered off when he was out of Pinkie's sight and made his way back to Sugar Cube Corner smelling the sweet bread Mrs.Cake was preparing earlier. Gummy was standing outside the door as Pinkie came up from behind and scooped him up. "Hi Gummy! That party was great! Shame you couldn't come.. Oh! Time to make that punch I promised you!" Pinkie Pie was smiling hard... but it didn't look like her normal smile. AppleBloom wasn't ready to go to bed quite yet, she still felt excited from the action earlier so she decided to give Spike a visit. AppleBloom walked to the library and knocked at the door with a smile on her face. Twilight Answered the door. "Hi AppleBloom! What are you doing here so late? Twilight asked clearly pondering the question. "Ah'm here to see Spike, is he home?" "No, actually I haven't seen him all day, I'll tell him you came by AppleBloom." Twilight smiled as she closed the door. AppleBloom was a bit disappointed really hoping to spend time with Spike and as she turned around to trot home Spike ran into her with their heads bonking together. After they regained their poise AppleBloom was the first to talk. "Hi Spike, Twilight said you were gone all day today, where were ya'?" "I was helping AppleJack with work today after you left this morning, where were you? The question caught AppleBloom off guard. "Oh.. well ah was just hanging out with my friends all day." AppleBloom smiled at spike, a certain smile with her eyes half closed that she knew made spike melt. "Ah was just wonderin' if you wanted to spend some time together, maybe watch a movie?" Spike returned the smile. "Sure that sounds great AppleBloom." They walked in the library and went upstairs to watch their favorite movie together as Twilight studied downstairs. They both preferred the movie 'The Hitchhiking Pony’s Guide to the Mind’s Galaxy' even though it was a comedy to be enjoyed with humor, neither of them watched it.

It has to be around here somewhere... Ah-hah!" Pinkie pulled out a top hat and a pair of odd metallic goggles. She threw the top hat on her head after pulling the goggles down the the brim of her hat. "Perfect!" Pinkie smiled admiring her hat and goggles in the mirror. Gummy had woken up and started walking towards the hypnotized steampunk Pinkie. Pinkie noticed Gummy walking towards her so she turned around to pick up Gummy and gave him a hug. "Oh im sorry Gummy i have to leave again today but don't worry ill make time for you soon, be a good alligator again today okay?" Pinkie set down Gummy with a slight kiss on his head and trotted off. Gummy stood there for a moment thinking about what to do today.. but got bored of thinking and started for the door. He made it out the door when the floor in front of him gave in and he slid down a chute, after sliding for a few moments he landed softly on a plush cushion. After he landed he looked ahead and saw head-lights illuminate his vision. "Good morning agent Gummy, shall we begin on today's agenda?" Dawn Cruise rolled up to Gummy and a robotic arm pick him up and laid him in the driver's seat as more robotic arms placed a similar dinner suit as Gummy had worn last night. "Ready on your mark agent 700." Gummy wagged his tail, enjoying his elegant dinner suit. Dawn Cruise roared his engine and sped off out of the dark underground garage. A beam of sunlight hit AppleBloom's closed eyes and she gently woke up. AppleBloom saw where she was, she had fallen asleep on top of spike. She smiled as she saw Spike sleep. 'so peaceful.' She saw the sunlight reflect off of Spike's scales and saw the colors dance in the light. AppleBloom's eyes lit up at the sight and she slowly leaned forward to plant a small kiss on Spike which had awoken him in a smile. "Good morning AppleBloom." "Mornin' Spike." AppleBloom laid her head on Spike's chest and smiled in pleasure. "The way you talk is so cute AppleBloom." Spike was smiling with his eyes closed enjoying each moment with AppleBloom. AppleBloom blushed and nuzzled Spike's chest and wrapping her arms around Spike, wanting the embrace to last an eternity. Spike returned the favor and they held the embrace for several minuets until interrupted by a tiny buzz that they both had heard. "What was that?" "What was what?" AppleBloom's heart raced, she loved Spike but she had to keep her job a secret. 'why does Eye Patch always call during the worst of times...' "I heard a buzzing noise" Spike got out from under AppleBloom and sat upwards and tried to locate where the sound had come from. "Ah didn't hear nothin' AppleBloom searched the room for a clock and saw it and stared intensively at it, remembering her excuse acting training. "Oh ma gosh! I need to go help AppleJack with the mornin's work, sorry Spike." AppleBloom kissed Spike on the cheek. "See ya' later?" "Bye AppleBloom." Spike waved bye at AppleBloom as she hurried down the stairs. As soon as AppleBloom left the library she ran behind a building across the street to answer the call. She tapped the right tip of her bow and a screen popped out. "Agent AppleBloom-" Eye Patch stopped talking for a moment but continued. "Agent AppleBloom you look like you barely slept at all last-night." "Don't worry commander, ah'm well relaxed and rested for today." AppleBloom tried her hardest to not blush and luckily succeeded. Eye Patch looked at her for a moment. "Relations can be dangerous AppleBloom, I don't object but just remember to be careful. Back to business. Today you must plan your mission with Agent Gummy and Dawn Cruise, i recommend joining with them as soon as possible, we must not fail and you have alot to plan with the other agents.". "Yes sir, ah'll join with them as soon as i finish today's chores with mah big sis" AppleBloom raised her hoof to her bow. "AppleBloom. Out." She tapped her bow and the screen shut off and retracted. AppleBloom trotted back to Apple Orchards and met a scowling AppleJack that was preparing for the days work. AppleBloom wondered why she was so angry 'Didn't Spike come by the farm and help?' "AppleBloom! Where have you been?" AppleJack was looking down on AppleBloom. "Ah was playin' with mah friends yesterday and we spent the night in our clubhouse, an besides Spike told me he came by to help ya' out." AppleBloom looked away from AppleJack's prying eyes. "Wha- what are you talkin' about? Yesterday it was just me and Big Macintosh working the Orchard." AppleJack looked confused AppleBloom couldn't hide her surprise 'Did he lie to me?' AppleBloom looked up at her sister. "Don't worry ah'll make up my work today." "Alright hope you keep to your word, we can't afford to fall behind before apple-buck season, let's git to work." AppleJack playfully messed up AppleBloom's hair before walking over to the apple carts. AppleBloom worked hard that day almost doubling her quota like she promised to her sister. AppleBloom worked, worried about Spike's lie, but luckily she could still concentrate. At about 3:00 pm they had all finished and met back at the barn. "AppleBloom ah saw you work extra hard today and it just plum motivated me and Big Mac, isn't that right?" "Eeeyup." "Ah think we all deserve the day off tomorrow, well time to turn it in for today." AppleJack and Big Macintosh walked back to the Apple family house together giving each other playful pushes while AppleBloom carried herself into the barn to rest for a moment before returning to her real job. She tapped the left tip of her bow and spoke out-loud. "Call. Dawn Cruise, agent 062." Dawn Cruise and Gummy were enjoying a long ride together while waiting for AppleBloom, Gummy enjoyed fast cars, and Dawn Cruise enjoyed making the agents pleased with his service. "Incoming call from agent AppleBloom..... Yes understood we are on our way." Dawn Cruise went in a 'U' turn and sped to the Apple Orchard. "Doctor Blast Burn we have intelligence that the spies plan to make another move on the mansion sometime today or tomorrow." An assistant said while handing the doctor a drink. "Such a pathetic agency.. they act as if they know everything but they know nothing..." Dr.Blast Burn took a deep drink. "Set the final preparations for project Liparus." Dawn Cruise arrived at the pick-up point. "Salutations once more agent AppleBloom" AppleBloom hopped in the passenger seat. "So whats the news?" "Well with the information you gathered from Dr.Blast Burns house Eye Patch gave us a course of action. The weapon may be complete." AppleBloom choked on air for a moment as she heard this. "What?!" "Yes we must enter Dr.Blast Burn's mansion today and attempt to sabotage it. We must plan out how we are to infiltrate the mansion undetected, find the weapon, and then disable it at all costs." "Okay, let's begin." AppleBloom was scared, but ready to defend her town and all of her friends and family.. and Spike. They talked for hours, planned to head for the mansion at midnight. They also planned the route they would take to find the weapon, or Dr.Blast Burn, AppleBloom and Dawn Cruise agreed to the plan and AppleBloom turned for Gummy's response who promptly wagged the tip of his tail enjoying the sound of them talking. There was a large flash that made them jump and AppleBloom turned around to see who it was, a mysterious stallion had appeared from the flash. "Hello agents, Dr.Hooves at your service." The brown coated stallion told them as he stepped forward. "I'm here to aid you, I am agent 1733."
A Light Proposal.View OnlineGummy's Secret LifeA Light Proposal.The mansion exploded along with everything in a 50 foot radius of the mansion. It set fire to the forest that was nearby it and partially erasing the road in front of it. It didn't take long for the dust to settle to show a barren wasteland and the pitch black earth that the explosion left. The only thing that remained was a small blue bubble levitating above the heart of the earth that was the darkest. The bubble slowly started to grow, it grew into the size of Dawn Cruise and then it burst and the agents fell downward on the pitch black soot, unharmed. AppleBloom was terrified and shaking as if she were having a seizure. "W-w-w-what just happened..." Dr.Hooves was frantic. "Somepony! hand me a sheet of parchment! now!" He ran off to the burning trees and grabbed a fallen branch and extinguished the fire at the tip of it. He started writing in the soot weird equations that they couldn't read. Gummy liked reading but could not read anything the doctor was writing... he thought he saw a 4 for a moment. AppleBloom was still shaking wide-eyed looking down at the giant mark of the explosion. "No physical paradox known... I have to calculate.... relativity...interaction of matter and energy.." Dr.Hooves was still lost in a frenzied state writing in the soot, he stopped for a moment and trotted up to AppleBloom. "How long were we in that bubble?!" AppleBloom couldn't answer him. 'was I supposed to have died right there?' She looked over at Gummy who was eying Dr.Hooves in anticipation. Dr.Hooves shook AppleBloom to try and force her out of her silence. "How long were we in the bubble?!" AppleBloom finally came back to earth. "Oh.. uh.. ah don't know about.. twenty seconds?" Dr.Hooves became wide-eyed. "Great Scott..." He trotted back to his patch of soot and continued his equation. AppleBloom slowly walked up to Gummy. Gummy sensed his friend was troubled so he didn't snap at her. AppleBloom lifted up Gummy and hugged him; thankful to be alive. Dr.Hooves stopped writing and gave out a long sigh before relaxing and allowing himself to fall on the ground. "Okay, nothing to worry about..." After a few seconds of welcoming oxygen back into his circulatory system he walked over to AppleBloom and hugged her as well while stroking her mane.. "It's alright dear, I know how you feel." AppleBloom had started to calm down. "Thank you Doctor." "Yes we are all happy to be alive but as you can hear from a distance ponies from Ponyville are coming to see the area and we have to get away or risk being blamed for it." "Alright, lets get back to Dawn Cruise then." They trotted off with Gummy on AppleBloom's back and Dr.Hooves checking behind them to see if they are being followed and also staring at the scrambling ponies that were putting out the fires. "Agents I see you are all well, what was that explosion?" Dawn Cruise powered up and rolled up next to them as they reached the road. "It was a trap, but thanks to Dr.Hooves we survived, by the way doctor how did you do that?" AppleBloom was curious to know how. Dr.Hooves looked down. "I don't know, that's a new property to the time warp I haven't discovered yet. I never wanted to do that... the time warp was too risky so I didn't intentionally do it.." Dr.Hooves looked back up at AppleBloom and Dawn Cruise. "I guess the time warp reacted to my feelings, in the last few seconds before the bomb went off I thought about...about my wife... her name is Ditzy and I love her so much I guess I subconsciously activated the time warp in a way I never knew possible. Luckily no consequence was obtained upon using the time warp in that manor. "I see... well all that matters is that you agents are safe, allow me to contact the commander for the status report." A few buttons flashed on Dawn's dashboard and then a screen popped out with Eye Patch with a depressed look. "Agents." "Sir!" All the agents said in union. "We witnessed the explosion even from our distance, we are glad that you are still well. Even though our time is short im ordering you to rest up tomorrow, we cant have our agents traumatized...who is that in the back seat?" AppleBloom almost jumped at the question. "Oh.. uh.. well you see commander.. his name is Dr.Hooves, hes from the future." "Yes sir, I am from the future and I'm here to help your agents, I am the only reason they survived this night." "Is that so? I don't have a hard time believing that because I have heard crazier, but Dr.Hooves you are to come to the HQ we must discuss alot of subjects." "Yes sir, but I must warn you, I may not be able to answer most of your questions. It is against the law of the time warp properties." "Hmm.. alright. I was hoping to gain alot of information from you, but I could still use your mental ability doctor." "I will do my best sir." "Eye Patch. Out. Oh and remember to relax agents." The screen withdrew back into the dashboard. "I shall take you home now agents. Destination set for Sweet Apple Orchard." It was a quiet ride back, they were all happy to be alive, but they had lost the trail of Dr.Blast Burn. 'Hopefully the commander can find Dr.Blast Burn again... I need to rest up for when he needs us again, a hard day at work in the orchard tomorrow would probably keep my mind off of it.' AppleBloom was tired and ready to feel the sweet blissful embrace of the one thing in the world that mattered most at the moment, her bed. Dawn Cruise dropped AppleBloom at her home and Gummy at his. Dr.Hooves was taken to the HQ to converse with Eye Patch. Gummy walked to Sugar Cube Corner and was again found by Pinkie Pie who took him upstairs and laid him on his bed. AppleBloom went home and tip-hoofed upstairs and into her room to sleep. Gummy woke up from a great night of sleep and looked around the room, normal as always... He walked up to Pinkie Pie's bed and saw her sleeping there with her hoof hanging down from the side of the bed. Gummy was feeling hungry so he woke Pinkie up like he always did, he bit Pinkies hoof to tell her that he was hungry. Pinkie woke up with a jump and peered over the side of her bed and saw Gummy. "Oh good morning Gummy." She yawned. "You must be hungry, one second Gummy.." She yawned again. "I have to brush my mane." She trotted over to her mirror and brushed her mane down to a flat fashion, but seconds later after she shook her head to wake up it puffed back upwards immediately after he eyes opened all the way. "Okay Gummy lets go make you some pancakes!" She scooped up Gummy and took him downstairs into the kitchen where Mrs.Cake was working. "Good morning Pinkamena, and uh.. Gummy." "Good morning Mrs.Cake!" Pinkie smiled at her as she did to everyone. "Oh Pinkie dear, you told me you were at a party yesterday at Strawberry Shake's house so I came over with a cake noticing you didn't take one. She told me she had no idea there was a party going on anywhere, so where were you yesterday?" Pinkie became wide-eyed and started stuttering. "Oh... I-I-I... w-was at.. uh... Twilight's library!" Her smile returned. "It was a private party to celebrate her uh.. studies?" Mrs.Cake knew she was lieing but went with it. "Oh okay Pinkie dear, I was just curious." She went back to her task. "Okay Gummy time for those pancakes!" Pinkie was trying her hardest to hide her nervousness but could hardly pour the pancake batter steadily. AppleBloom woke up feeling great after resting, her bed never felt more like heaven, maybe that's what clouds feel like to RanbowDash? AppleBloom went to go wash her face and brush her teeth before she went downstairs to start work. She saw AppleJack getting things ready like she was going into town. "Sis?" "Oh mornin' AppleBloom, no work today ah got important meetings with alot of clients today." 'Great the one day i want to work and there is none..' "Need any help sis?" AppleJack was still grabbing random things around the house but stopped for a moment to reply to AppleBloom. "Naw, ah can do this myself, you just relax for tomorrow's work." "Well alrighty then, ah'll just head into town for today, bye sis!" AppleBloom left the house and started on the road to Ponyville. 'Maybe ah'll spend the day with Spike instead.' AppleBloom got to Ponyville and passed several shops heading to the library. As AppleBloom was about to knock on the door Spike opened it and stared at AppleBloom. "Hi AppleBloom." Spike smiled at her "Hi Spike, ah got the day off of the farm today an ah was just wonderin' if you wanted to spend the day together." AppleBloom lowered her head but kept her eye on Spike still smiling while circling the dirt with her hoof. "Sure AppleBloom that sounds great! That was just what i was hoping for today." They smiled at each other and started walking off with Spike's arm around AppleBloom's shoulders. 'Ah wonder if ah should ask him about lieing to me about working at the farm..' They walked to Sugar Cube Corner where they ordered some slices of cake, they both had sweet-teeth. As they waited for their food they held hands on a table outside the shop and stared into each others eyes. 'I wonder if I should tell her now...' 'Ah wonder if ah should ask him about it now...' Mrs.Cake came with their slices of cake with a smile. "I sure am glad to see such a happy young couple, it reminds me of myself when I met my husband, I'll let you enjoy your food, call if you need anything." They ate in silence wondering if now was a good time to ask their questions. "Uh.. Spike? "Yes AppleBloom?" "You said ya went to go help my sis on the day that ah wasn't there, ah asked her about it and she told me you never showed up. Where were you that day?" Spike choked on a piece of cake. "Oh uh.. "Alright, lets finish eating so we can pay Mrs.Cake" They finished their cake after a few awkward minuets and paid Mrs.Cake and left and started walking to the outskirts of Ponyville towards the EverFree forest Spike no longer had his arm around AppleBloom but instead of fidgeting his fingers, they stopped at a giant tree they usually spent their time alone together outside of the library. "Okay AppleBloom... the reason I lied to you about helping AppleJack is because...." AppleBloom leaned forward towards Spike to make sure she could hear him. Spike turned around for a moment and returned with something enclosed in his hands. "AppleBloom.. you're the reason I wake up in the morning.. I'm glad I met you, you always bright up my day every time I see you. So yesterday I went digging in Rarity's gem spot all day to find the perfect color." Spike opened his hands and it was a necklace with a ruby heart in the center, the end of the necklace had AppleBloom's name engraved within it. "I went to Canterlot to have it made." AppleBloom's breath was stolen from her the necklace was so beautiful. "AppleBloom..." "Yes Spike?" "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, we may be a little too young now, but this necklace symbolizes my promise to you." AppleBloom couldn't believe it, she started to tear up. Spike got down on his knee and held up the necklace. "AppleBloom.. will you one day marry me?" Spike looked up at her with a tear in his eye smiling at her. AppleBloom was over-joyed this was all she had dreamed about. She tackled Spike in a hug and they exchanged kisses and through each kiss she said. "Yes.... Spike... of course.... ah'll marry you." They spent the rest of the day under the tree, each second feeling like an eternity in each others arms, and each second increasing their love for each other. "It's a pleasure to meet with you Eye Patch. "Likewise Dr.Hooves, you may get your rest soon but I need your help with our plan of action. Here is the information folder of everything we have gathered." Eye Patch threw a folder swollen with papers inside of it at Dr.Hooves side of the table. Regardless of how large the folder was it didn't take long for the doctor to finish reading it. "Any thoughts doctor?" The doctor looked pale. "Hand me a pen and a few sheets of paper." Eye Patch gave Dr.Hooves what he asked for. Eye Patch watched Dr.Hooves while he worked jotting down equations and numbers along with small diagrams. When Dr.Hooves finally finished his work he slammed down his pen in anger. "Whats the problem Dr.Hooves?" "The weapon... it's finished." Everypony in the room was silent for several minuets feeling the creeping horror of defeat in their spines. Eye Patch slammed his hooves on the table. "That's it, we have played the discreet card for too long, if that weapon really is finished we need to move to a more forceful tactic. Radio Buzz, call all the agents and contact the marine choir. To stop the war in the future we need to start the war now. Dr.Hooves get some rest, tomorrow when all hell breaks out we are going to need every agent we have." Doctor Hooves walked to his designated room. He collapsed on his bed but couldn't sleep. 'Ditzy.... I hope you're okay...Don't worry I'll fix this mess before it starts... no matter what the cost is too keep you and the kids safe...'

"Well aside from that, all of those jeeps and Humvee roaming the streets today is what really worries me, the army hasn't moved this much in years... I hope everything is alright." "I do too..." Gummy stopped listening and was hungry, he went over to Pinkie's bed to wake up his owner in hopes of his breakfast. Gummy didn't see Pinkie's normally drooped hoof and he started slowly climbing the side of the bed with his claws. Gummy reached the top of Pinkie's bed and couldn't help but feel a bit angry for all of his climbing efforts went to waste seeing as Pinkie was nowhere to be seen. AppleBloom woke up after feeling a light shake, she looked over to see if Spike was still next to her but he was nowhere to be seen. She looked around the room and remembered that she was back at the library upstairs where Spike and herself usually spent their time together, on an old lazy colt couch in front of a T.V that had a large collection of DVD's beside it. AppleBloom felt the shake more violently this time, she walked over to the window to see that several military vehicles on the move. AppleBloom felt a bit panicked for a moment and then tapped the tip of her bow to call Eye Patch. After the mini-screen popped out of her bow AppleBloom was the first to talk. "Sir whats goin' on here?" "I was just about to contact you. All of the agents are to report to the agency HQ. I'll inform you more when you arrive. Eye Patch, out." AppleBloom was really worried now. 'Did BlastBurn finish his weapon? I better hurry to the HQ...' (2 hours earlier) 'The sun hasn't come up yet..' Pinkie Pie was tip-toeing down the stairs and making her way past the counter and started heading for the door but was frozen in place from a voice behind her. It was Mrs.Cake. "Pinkie dearie, your up ear-" She stopped and looked at Pinkie's outline in the shadow. "Pinkie?" Pinkie Pie still faced the exit but said plainly. "Yes?" "Where are you going?" "Oh nowhere, I'm just on my way to a party." "This early?" "Yes Mrs.Cake. The party is going to be huge, I wouldn't want to be late to start setting up the...fireworks...." "Oh.. okay Pinkie, you have fun!" Mrs.Cake tried to put enthusiasm in her voice but failed at her attempt. Pinkie turned around with an odd smile on her face and her mane was flat. Spike opened the door and saw the darkness and a familiar figure in the darkness and smiled. "Are we all set?" The dark figure had a shining smile. "Yeah, lets get this party started." Spike slowly closed the door and walked off into the morning mist with the pony out of Ponyville.

AppleBloom recoiled at the stallion that surprised her but regained her composure and faced Dr.Hooves. "We don't have that many agents.. you're no agent..." AppleBloom glared at him. "You mean, at this time period you don't? Then yes my dear, you are correct." AppleBloom was confused. "What are ya talkin' about?" "I am from the future." AppleBloom's eye twitched after he said that. "How can you be from the future? There's no such thing as time travel, it's impossible." "Yes my dear that is impossible." "But ya just said you were from the future!" "Yes, I am from the future, you simply cannot travel through time." "If you can't travel through time then how did you get here?" AppleBloom was getting a headache. "Because I can't travel through time. Time travel is the concept of moving between different points in time in a manner analogous to moving between different points in space. I simply time warped." "S-simply?! How is that different?!" AppleBloom really felt like hitting him. Dr.Hooves was also annoyed. "You child, by the time I could fully explain the basics of time and space through the form of continuum you will have lived half of your life, do not question me." "Yer not from the future...." AppleBloom face hoofed. "I am indeed from the future child, a future tormented by your failure!" Dr.Hooves was angry and stood closer to Dawn and closer to AppleBloom. "I am from a future where you failed to stop Dr.Blast Burn from unleashing his weapon. The agency was humiliated from the defeat but we had acquired more agents but in the future the agents turned to soldiers along with half of the world to stand up to Dr.Blast Burn...." Dr.Hooves took a deep breath. "Let me give you an explanation on how and why I am here." "Team, the weapon is just a few 100 meters ahead, once that weapon is destroyed we can have a fighting chance to stop this war so no matter whats ahead the objective is to get Dr.Hooves to that thing!" The whole squad raised their weapons and shouted. "Yes sir! HA-OOH! HA-OOH!" "Dr.Hooves is the only one who can disarm that thing without it blowing up without destroying this whole continent, keep him safe soldiers! Now lets go!" The leader kicked open the door to the streets of Manehattan with ponies and stallions on each side shooting at each other with artillery shells landing on each side. "Follow me men! Hooves stay behind us!" They sprinted to the right down the street and stopped by a friendly heavily defended area. The leader opened up a large covered hole. "Down now!" He had to scream over the gunfire as the team poured down the hole. "We should be safe for the moment, we are sneaking under the streets to infiltrate the building from behind. Safeties off." The sewers were filled with the clicks of guns for a moment. They traveled in the sewers following a map the leader was holding for several minuets. They finally reached a ladder after trudging through several yards of sewage, getting dirty was no problem compared to being ruled by a mad man no matter how foul the stench. "No screw-ups marines." He whispered as he lifted up the sewer cap. He gave the hoof sign for the all-clear and climbed out of the sewers also helping his men and Dr.Hooves out. The team was pressed against the wall in an alleyway they had hurried to after leaving the sewers. The leader turned to his team and used more hoof-signals that spoke hoof- signals- only- split team- against- streets- go silent- watch me- for call. The team agreed with nods and moved into the streets with half of the team moved quickly to the other side of the streets constantly pointing their assault rifles at windows and doors, ready for an ambush. The leader raised his hoof in the air violently and then swirled it around, all of the marines scattered behind cars, trashcans, and back into alleyways. Two cars passed followed by a platoon of foot soldiers all wearing Dr.Blast Burns insignia a red flame encircled with black. After they passed the soldiers emerged from their hiding spots and continued onward for a few more blocks. The leader stopped at a block sealed off with a cement wall that was 10 feet high, he beckoned his soldiers to him and they formed a pony ladder over the wall. After getting everypony over the wall they moved towards the building, the back door was blocked by a pass-code that Dr.Hooves cracked within seconds. They had entered the target building complex that was not very heavily guarded. "All their forces are focused at the front line right now, we must be giving them hell." The leader wispered. The leader waved them forward down the hallway leading to a large door with another pass-code which Dr.Hooves had also bypassed but with more difficulty. They entered a room filled with scientist working on their computers. Both the scientist and the soldiers were surprised for a moment, but the soldiers raised their guns at the scientist all yelling. "Surrender!", "Reddition!", "Kapitulation!" The scientist all raised their hooves obeying the soldiers and stepping away from the computers. The soldiers herded the scientist to the corner and left a few of their men to guard the scientists while the rest continued onward. They went upstairs from the lab they had invaded and made it to a metallic door that read 'No Clearance To Anypony'. They entered the door and found what they were looking for in the back of the small dark room with a scientist working on the large computer, the scientist stood up and turned around. It was Dr.Blast Burn. "Welcome to my home, would you men like a drink?" Dr.Blast Burn's figure was shadowed, hidden by the blare of the screen. "I haven't had such company in awhile, it gets rather boring up here by myself..." Dr.Blast Burn smiled, it was the smile of an insane clown fully showing his teeth while laughing. It gave the soldiers a chill that made them slightly lower their guns for a moment before shaking it off. "Dr.Blast Burn your coming with us!" The leader stepped forward shaking with anger using all of his willpower to not shoot his gun. "Can't we stay for the.." Dr.Blast Burn laughed."...fireworks?" Dr.Blast Burn started laughing uncontrollably. "Don't you dare laugh.. ever again.. you homicidal maniac..." The leader was gritting his teeth and ripping his mane in sheer malice. "Your done Doctor, we've finally caught you." "You?!" The doctor was laughing between his words."C-caught me?.... oh my it appears i have lost...... whatever shall i do?" The doctor rubbed his head pretending to think. " Oh wait.. I almost forgot..." He snapped and the room lit up on the marines side and a barrier formed between them and the doctor. The marines started mindlessly shooting at the barrier in their rage with the doctor laughing himself to his knees. "Oh man you ponies are so easily played! This was a milk run from the start!" Dr.Blast burn snapped his fingers again and door behind the marines was sealed shut and they were surrounded. "Grab their non-combatant and then execute the rest.." Dr.Blast Burn said as he turned his attention back to the screen as his men did as they were told. After the soldiers were killed the doctor spoke up again. "Bring me that colt." Dr.Blast Burns men brought the young scientist to their leader. "Such a young brilliant mind. You remind me of myself. A message for your commander." Dr.Blast Burn gave his a slip of paper to Dr.Hooves who was too shocked to protest but did as he was told. "Now deliver him to the enemy side." Dr.BlastBurn went back to his work. Dr.Hooves was blindfolded and was brought back to the front line where the firing had stopped, he was given a white flag to hold to walk back to his side so he would not be fired at. As we returned to his side he was taken to the commander who had read the letter from Dr.Blast Burn. "Dr.Hooves you have seen too much for us to try and send you out again, I'm transferring you to research and development so you can continue fighting with your brain." They shook hands and Dr.Hooves was sent off. For months Dr.Hooves worked with other scientist haunted by the deaths of the screaming marines and the failure that he had felt was his fault. Dr.Hooves had begun secretly working on time travel in hopes that his research would lead to a historical re-write of this current present. Dr.Hooves realized after spending 5 days without showering and only eating crackers and drinking water of research and he had found out that time travel was impossible. In his anger he banged his head on his research table and he passed out from the pain. In the white abyss of his unconsciousness he had an epiphany, time TRAVEL was impossible, but what about a time WARP? Equations invaded his head almost too fast for him to write them down. He summarized the time warp in 3 rules. 1. You cannot fully control a time-warp 2. If you try to fully direct history from your own accord you will be reverted back to your original time. 3. You cannot travel forward to unwritten history. He devised a device to suit the time warp theory. He tested it himself, he was almost out of time. Dr.Blast Burn's forces were advancing on the last few strongholds that gave him resistance. At first the device faltered but then sparked to life as a time bubble enveloped Dr.Hooves and the bubble diminished to nothing. Dr.Hooves found himself in a forest staring at a path towards the main road, he saw normal plant life again and it filled him with hope, he trotted a few feet towards the road and instantly recognized the legendary Dawn Cruise and Agent 700. He decided to walk forward content that the time warp had bent to his will. "Hello agents, Dr.Hooves at your service." AppleBloom didn't know what to say after listening to Dr.Hooves shocking story about the future. AppleBloom realized that he had to be telling the truth and lifted her head and looked at Dr.Hooves "So ya' really are from the future?" "Yes my dear, I'm glad you believe me now. Tonight you and agent Gummy failed and Doctor Blast Burn continued his work and started his grasp on the world. I am here to correct your actions in hope of changing the outcome of today." "Well, ah'll show you our plan so you can fix it up for us. I don't want to take any chances...Is that alright Dawn? AppleBloom seemed shaken from Dr.Hooves story. "I suppose it couldn't hurt, he seems like a smart gentlecolt. Agent Gummy do you have any objections?" Gummy didn't move he continued to listen enjoying the stories. "I'll bring up the hologram of the mansion and show you our route Dr.Hooves." After an hour of explaining the plan to Dr.Hooves he had changed the route slightly to a new room, a small one that he said held the device. "He is focusing his men to the right side of the mansion to feint the true position of his weapon, He thinks he had planned this out perfectly but I studied his work and his strategies and im certain it is... here." He had his hoof pointed to a room on the third floor that showed little sign of guards in the area. "I will aid you in the infiltration, but mind you i cannot open any doors physically, I can of course unlock them for you." They all agreed and all 4 of them headed towards the mansion but stopped a mile away to avoid detection. Dr.Hooves was putting on clothes that resembled one of Dr.Blast Burns men. "I will open the gates for you two on the inside." AppleBloom was very uneasy. "Ah'm sorry doctor but ah just can't trust you, at the first sign of betrayal and we are getting away." "Understandable, stick to the shrubs and trees until I shine a light over to you to come to the gates." AppleBloom nodded and laid Gummy on her back to keep them both mobile and ready to escape if caught. Several minuets passed after they watched Dr.Hooves walk through the front gates. A light was waving towards their direction from the front gates and AppleBloom quickly trotted over from the brush to the mansion walls and slide against them towards the gate. "Go into that checkpoint booth, you will find some unconscious goons, retrieve an outfit from one of them and wear the clothing so you can blend in with the patrols." Dr.Hooves was on the edge,nervous. AppleBloom only took a minuet to slip into a dark sweater and put away her bow in the sweater pocket. 'not much of a disguise but it will at least stop far-away alerts' AppleBloom thought as she straightened her sweater, she knew she couldn't fail tonight as Dr.Hooves said they would, for the sake of the Apple Family, her friends, and Spike. They had entered the mansion and changed their pace to a more relaxed style and nonchalantly headed towards the stairs that only had a few men patrolling around the mansion. They reached the top of the large staircase and took a left and entered a narrow doorway that led to more stairs. They had reached the third floor and walked down a hallway that Dr.Hooves pointed out. After a few minuets of creeping around careful not to be caught they reached a door that was locked by a pass-code. "If I remember correctly the pass-code should be...2-7-7-5-3-2-5-6-6-6... I was told It meant a name but never bothered to look it up." The door opened up to a small room with a computer in the back, the room was the size of a janitors office. They had found the control room for the weapon, Dr.Hooves galloped up to the screen and started typing away on it. "I-is this the weapon Dr.hooves?" "Yes, I believe so my dear, it should be controlled from this very computer, right now i am attempting to disable it." Dr.Hooves worked on the computer for a few minuets while AppleBloom and Gummy guarded the door. The screen went blank and Dr.Hooves recoiled. "No..." Words appeared on the screen. 'Nice try.' and then it was followed by a countdown from 10. 9. 8. Dr.hooves was dumbstruck his mind was blank, panicking to regain his thoughts to think. 7. 6. 5. 4. It was a bomb! That mad-man! 3. Twilight had always worried for her little brother especially since he wasn't where he usually was in the morning, downstairs and ready to help Twilight when she needed it. AppleBloom shook her head. "No, Twiligh, ah haven't seen 'im since last night. Ah just thought he was down here helpin' ya already." "Okay thanks sweetie, Spike usually turns up eventually. Would you like some breakfast AppleBloom?" Twilight's smile returned at the gesture. "No thanks Twiligh, ah need to get back to the farm, but thanks anyway." AppleBloom turned towards the door and exited the library. 'Hopefully ah can see him later' AppleBloom blushed thinking about her future fiance. Dr.Hooves woke up from his restless sleep and went over to a mirror to look at his bloodshot eyes, he shook his head before leaving the room and started walking towards the assembly room to await his task for today's contention. 'No matter what, I need to do my best for Ditzy and Dinky...' Dr.hooves entered the room from a silent hallway to a crowd of debating scientist and arguing agents. "Okay everyone settle down! In a few moments we will begin after all agents are accounted for!" Eye Patch was yelling over the crowds from his podium. Dr.Hooves trotted up to Eye Patch. "Do we have our plan all set?" Eye Patch nodded and keeping his face of confidence straight then turned to the crowd to continue calming them down. A pony turned from her computer to face towards Dr.Blast Burn who was in the center of the small room of scientists all working on their computers along with Dr.Blast Burn working on his own. "Doktor bekommen wir mehrere Lesungen von Heer, Luftwaffe, und die Agenturen Bewegung." Dr.Blast Burn waved his hand at the worried pony. "Setzen Sie Ihre Arbeit, ich habe an alles gedacht." Dr.Blast Burn put away his computer and was again enveloped by darkness. He starred at all of the ponies with a smile. 'After months of planning the goal is within an hour's reach.... my revenge will be final.. and soon afterwards with the demonstration of my little project all nations will bow to me.' Dr. Blast Burn let out a small laugh that scared the pony he had just spoken with and turned to the right of him where his most trusted assistant was standing. "Tell our men to start setting up the defense, our guests will be here within minuets." Dr.Blast Burn stood up and cleared his throat to grab the attention of the scientist. "My friends! Victory is near, and all that I have promised you all is within our grasp!" Dr. Blast Burn looked around. "Soon all of the world will know of their masters!" All of the scientist clopped their hooves on the ground with cheers to show their support. Dr.Blast Burn pulled out a small holographic computer check-list and stared at it making sure everything was ready, the image had a large bar with 95% next to it. Gummy and AppleBloom arrived at the assembly room that was filled to the last row with agents and scientist banging their hooves on their desks in front of them. AppleBloom had never seen or heard of all the agents coming together at once like this, she noticed Eye Patch beckon them to the frontal stage next to them. "Agents! Now we are in session! Please turn your attention to the front, now is not the time to argue over the course of action!" Eye Patch was furious. "Dr. Blast Burn as you all know has been working on a weapon that can cause mass hysteria to all of Equestria. We fear that the weapon is finished as we speak.." The room fell dead silent as the white screen behind Eye Patch popped out and the lights died. "Now is the time that we take action. Dr.Blast Burn thought we had lost his trail after destroying his own mansion but he is very wrong. He thinks we know nothing, but let me tell you agents.. that this man is wrong! We are going to prove him wrong today, now as you can see on this map we have marked several places to which Dr.Blast Burn may be." The projector brought up an image of Equestria. "Over 100 places he has set up defenses and lines to stop us from getting to him, each agent will receive their task, we need to plug any holes that snake can slither through and search for the weapon or Dr.Blast Burn." Eye Patch took a drink of water from a glass that was placed at the podium. "We are sending our best agents to the heart of this to hopefully get to the weapon before it is released. Agent 700, Gummy. Agent 816, AppleBloom. And Dr.Hooves will be sent to Dr.Blast Burn's most possible location." Eye Patch starred at everyone who was in complete shock. "The army will fight Dr.Blast Burn's main force as we sneak through the lines to sabotage and aid the fight. The Air force will be lead by Agent Tank to the most tactical positions." Eye Patch took a deep breath. "This is war agents.. one that we cannot afford to lose, I will be right beside all of you. Good Luck." Eye Patch stepped away from his podium and as he did all of the agents checked their communication devices for their assignments. "Sir, we are ready to go when you are." Dr.Hooves was determined. "Good, because its time to show Dr.Blast Burn what hell is." Eye Patch and the agents headed down the hallway and turned into a garage where Dawn Cruise was waiting for them. "Destination up ahead." Dawn Cruise and the agents were speeding down a road with the echos of gunfire and fighter planes in the air. "As soon as we get there, Dawn Cruise is going to get us up close to the compound so we can get inside, I will be taking an alternate route once we get inside. Agent Gummy and AppleBloom, Dr.Hooves knows your route, keep him protected and be wary of traps and patrols." Eye Patch still held his known determined look. "Sir ah thought you retired from field operations." AppleBloom knew that he was and was curious to why he was going with them. "This isn't just a field anymore agent, it's become a battlefield and I intend to do my part to stop this madness." They arrived outside the compound and Dawn Cruise had driven into the forest, 100 yards ahead was the compound. "Doctor our forces are being demolished, we cannot hold out very long against the EQMC or their Air force! What is our plan of action?" The pony looked frantic. Dr.Blast Burn was hoping they would be able to defend better but none of it mattered. The only thing that mattered was that the weapon would be complete then they would all be forced to submit. "Nothing, just continue the preparations." "But sir! What if we don't finish in time?" "We will." Dr.Blast Burn had not planned an attack of this magnitude.. 'I wonder what forced the agency to become to rash...perhaps I shouldn't have destroyed my mansion..' Dr.Blast Burn checked the meter again and smiled. 98%. AppleBloom had Gummy on her back and Dr.Hooves right behind them, all read to run if discovered. They had sneaked in through a door to the side after a patrol unwittingly left the door open and were now slowly heading through countless hallways. Dr.hooves had a device in his hoof showing him where the most activity was taking place. Dr.Hooves led them towards the middle of the complex, all of them becoming suspicious to the light patrol. "Stop.. I...I think this is where the weapon is.." Dr.Hooves pointed towards a door that had no locks on it. AppleBloom walked slowly towards the door. "Are ya sure?" "Yes." Dr.Hooves slowly opened up the door and they saw a staircase leading to a higher level to a door and Dr.Hooves remembered what happened last time the scene was like this. But this time before they could reach the stairs the door had opened at the top of the stairs and the door behind them closed. ' No....Not again! How could I be so stupid!!' Dr.Hooves tensed up as unarmed ponies slowly surrounded them after coming down the stairs. He saw AppleBloom ready to fight. "AppleBloom, stay on your guard." AppleBloom nodded, she was ready, ready to fight, ready to defend her family and friends against Dr. Blast Burn. "Well hello my little ponies...." A sinister voice came from the door atop the stairs and a dark figure looked down at them. "Again another trap that you had fallen into, normally I would have had you killed on site but I feel generous and wanted to meet you myself." Another shadow figure appeared beside Dr. Blast Burn. AppleBloom froze in her place her mind becoming a buzz and she lost all sense and stared up at the doorway as Dr.Blast Burn slowly appeared from the dark room. "Hello my dear..." Said Spike. "S-spike? Your Doctor Blast Burn?..." AppleBloom was struck, was she having a bad dream? or was Spike really the evil insane doctor attempting to destroy all that she knew and held dear. "Yes. AppleBloom, I'm Doctor BlastBurn." Spike had a blank expression on his face. "Why.. SPIKE WHY?!" AppleBloom broke down and fell to the floor but still starring up at Spike. Spike started walking down the stairs towards AppleBloom. "AppleBloom.. " "Stay away from me! Why do you want to take away everything we both love?! What reason do you have for doing this?" AppleBloom got up and had an angry face with tears streaming down her face. "I have my reasons AppleBloom, but I will explain everything if you will just come with me.." Spike reached his hand towards her but AppleBloom took a step backwards from Spike. "No! Spike we are through! I can't believe you would just betray us like this...I love you Spike, you were the world to me..everyday ah woke up ah thought of you... how we would spend our lives together and when you proposed to me with this.. necklace.." AppleBloom pointed at the necklace she was wearing. "Ah wanted to give you everything you would ever need, because at that moment you gave me everything ah ever needed... Please Spike it's not to late to stop this..." AppleBloom this time raised her hoof out towards Spike. AppleBloom's heart stopped as she heard the words, they hit her like a thunderbolt that wounded her heart. "No....it's to late now AppleBloom, I proposed to you so we could enjoy this together, but now I see that the world isn't good enough for you." Spike glared at AppleBloom. "You said last night that you would go anywhere with me, support whatever I did.. but now I see that's a lie." Spike turned to his room. "Hand me the remote please, Pinkie." Pinkie Pie stepped forward from the dark room holding a remote. "The weapon is complete doctor." "Good, AppleBloom, watch as I become the ruler of the world with a press of a button!" Spike was about to press the button but was surprised to see a white stallion appear from the vents above landing on one of his men as he jumped down knocking out the largest one guarding the exit. The rest of the stallions charged at the White Stallion but one by one they fell to him. The first one came in a running punch that was countered by a grab of the elbow that was brought down to the ground and then kicked in the back of the head to finish him off. The next two came at once and tried to grab the white stallion but he ducked under the arms of the one on the right and grabbed him in a choke hold and snapped his neck and caught the thrust of the second stallion and brought his head down to his knee. The last 4 came at once and the stallion jumped into the air and kicked one in the face before falling to the ground on his back and being jumped after by the three remaining stallions. The white stallion rolled away and turned kicking one of the thugs in the fore hooves making him fall face-forward. After standing up the stallion grabbed another thug and threw him on the previous henchmen that was laying on the ground. The last thug tried to throw himself at the white stallion but found himself being lifted in the air over the stallion and as the thug was on his back found a hoof in his face rendering him unconscious. The white stallion was Eye Patch. "You can never find any good help these days..." Spike was scowling at the white stallion. "Oh well, game over anyway ponies.." Spike twirled his finger above the button. "NO!" Eye Patch, AppleBloom, and Dr.hooves all yelled at once. Spike's hand dropped away from the remote and his eyes were wide. "What..." Spike had fallen with a bump on the back of his head. Pinkie Pie stood behind the fallen Spike with her hoof raised.Her mane had returned to normal. "Nighty night Spikie!" Pinkie was smiling at Eye Patch and saluted. "Mission accomplished Sir!" Pinkie Pie giggled. "Man that one was almost a doozy!" (1 hour later) Eye Patch walked up to the podium at the assembly room. "Agents!...We have won!" The room erupted with cheers and papers making make-shift confetti. "Well done agents, thanks to all of your help we manage to stop the earth from being dominated by an insane dragon! Special thanks to our best agents. Agent Gummy, Agent AppleBloom, and Agent Pinkamina!" The room again exploded into cheers for the agents. "Dr.Blast Burn is now being transported to our maximum detention center, his remaining men to jails all over Equestria. We can rest easy tonight knowing that hes going to be locked away for good. Enjoy the rest of the month agents, you've all earned it!" The room chanted "Eye Patch! Eye Patch!" After the excitement was tired out and the agents went to enjoy their time-off Eye Patch was about to head to his room to finally have a chance to sleep for once this month. As he was leaving he saw AppleBloom sitting in the corner just looking down at the ground and he walked over to her and let out his hoof. "Everything alright agent AppleBloom?" "No.." AppleBloom was silently crying. "I loved him sir." Eye Patch couldn't think of anything to say to her, instead he sat down beside AppleBloom and put his arm across AppleBloom to let her cry on his shoulder. They sat there for several minuets with Eye patch slowly rocking AppleBloom before she finally stopped. "Thank you." "Will you be okay?" "Yeah.." AppleBloom slowly stood up with Eye Patch. "It will get better, I promise." Eye Patch looked at her neck, she was still wearing the necklace that he heard them fighting about earlier. AppleBloom's mind was blank, the only thing she wanted now was to go home and sleep. As they headed for the exit they were cut-off by a hyperventilating pony. "Radio Buzz whats the problem?" Radio buzz was still breathing heavily so they gave him some time to stop. "Sir.... it's BlastBurn... he escaped during the transport..." EyePatch became whiter than his coat was originally. He was outraged. "How did this happen!?" "I don't know sir, but he did it and we couldn't track him on our satellites.." EyePatch stared at AppleBloom for a moment, she was returned to her state of shock. "We can't just let someone like him go free... I'll contact some agents to track him down, get the word out that he escaped." "Sir!" EyePatch was about to head towards his communicator on the podium but was stopped by AppleBloom. "Sir, ah volunteer to chase after Spike." EyePatch was surprised. "Are you sure? This might require you to leave Ponyville to persue him." AppleBloom looked up at him. "Yes ah'm sure, ah can't let him get away." EyePatch thought about it for a moment. "Okay Agent AppleBloom. I'll allow this but stay a week with your family and make up an excuse about why you are leaving for a bit, I'll be able to give you more details before that time, for now go rest." "Yes sir." AppleBloom turned and walked out of the assembly room with the blank stare still on her face. Spike was driving down a road in an armored vehicle that was to be his transport to the detention center. He stared at the cold lifeless stallion beside him in the passenger seat. "Sorry there pal, but a change of plans has come up." He smiled at the stallion as if he were his best friend. Spike shifted through the glove compartment and found a map with a pen. He pulled over on the side of the road and started writing on the map and after 20 minuets of constant calculations and predictions he circled a large city only about 10 miles from here. He turned to the lifeless stallion again. "Hey, how about we go there now? Looks fun doesn't it?" Spike joked while he nudged the stallion. He started up the vehicle while laughing. 'The game has just started.' I have had alot of fun writing this story and I was sad to be running out of material for it, so i decided to mix stuff up a tad, AppleBloom's Vendetta coming in December. and I think I picked an appropriate song for Spike to be played out on, the lyrics match his point of view 90%. AppleBloom's Vendetta( name subject to change) Will include some new material and i cant wait to start the pre-writing and will be showing AppleBloom's and Spike's point of view in this next story. The First Chapter is out for AppleBloom's Vendetta to explain some things.
