The badlands.
The sun high in the sky it was. Thus accounting for the heat that seemed to emanate from the very floor that one walked on. No shrubbery of which to speak of, not for another thousand miles in any direction. Water? None that could be accounted for. It seemed as though the sun, the very bringer of life, is mercilessly out to kill anything with more than two brain cells to rub together.
In the distance, a cloud of black smoke makes it's way through this trechous landscape. Upon closer examination one can see a multitude of bodies and one of the aforementioned bodies standing taller than the rest. Chrysalis. Queen of the changelings or what is left of them of course. As one can clearly see as one by one, this giant cloud of darkness seems to be shrinking at an alarming rate, as every now and then a changeling would fall on account of this extreme climate.
As the others looked at their dwindling number of cohorts, Chrysalis adresses her subjects.
"I know it may seem bleak at the moment but your queen shall find you a place to rest. In the meantime we shall wait here."
Stopping next to what seemed to be the remains of an ancient dragon long since dead. Chrysalis looked towards her subjects as she rests her weary, hole riddled, hooves on the soft sand. As she stares at them she notices something she was dreading since their banishment. The signs of hunger. One by one each changeling picked off one another in hopes of sating their insatiable hunger. Chrysalis looked on with bewilderment almost disgusted that her brood would act in such a way but she knew there was no helping it and that she too would succumb to her most basic of instincts. Survival. At any cost.
Chrysalis bid her time. Waiting for her subjects to dwindle themselves to the point where only two remained. At this moment Chrysalis addressed them.
"Stop!"
At that instance one changeling had bit down on the other's neck causing a green substance to pour out of the wound and onto the floor. As for the changeling that received said wound it merely looked at its ruler hoping that her face would be the last thing it sees before succumbing to darkness. Chrysalis waited for the last changeling to finish its meal before she spoke.
"How is it?... did it calm your hunger hatchling?" The changeling looks up from its "meal" and stares at Chrysalis with tears in its eyes. "Oh why do you cry? You are the victor. You claimed what was rightfully yours. You have earned your place next to your queen." Chrysalis pats the hot sand next to her. "Come, sit with me." She says with a toothy grin. Cautiously, the weary changling made its way to its intimidating creator. Upon reaching her the changeling culrs up into a ball, sitting in the shade its queen manages to create with her long, green, flowing mane and stares up at her in awe. "But...my queen... what about yourself?"
"There is no need to worry about me. I will find sustenance somehow." The queen says as she slowy lulls her long ,serpertine, tongue out of her muzzle and proceeds to drag it across the last changeling's neck leaving behind a trail of wetness that seems to evaporate in the heat of the sun. At the moment that the underling started to schooch away from its creator. Chrysalis wraps a misshapen hoove across the changeling holding it in place. "Now where do you think you are going you know better than to leave your queen's side especially when you know that she is very famished. "
"But.....but."
The changeling merely looked on as her long tongue continued to caress its own long, black neck. As the changeling contemplated the short time it knows it has left Chrysalis speaks.
"Is there a final request that you wish to see through?"
"Well....um if it is not too much to ask, my queen.....I.....would like a....umm."
"Spit it out my dear. Do not keep your famished mother waiting. "
"A kiss." The changeling says bearly above a whisper.
"Is that all?" Chrysalis says disappointedly. "For a brave soldier. A farewell kiss."
Chrysalis cranes her neck so that her muzzle is at par with the other changeling's head. As she starts to close in the underling raises his cheek and closes his eyes. Chrysalis then puckers her lips and lands a hearty kiss on her subject's mouth. The changeling opens his eyes in astonishment but does not protest and allows entrence to her tantalizing tounge. After a few seconds Chrysalis pulls her head back to break the kiss. In doing so she leaves a trial of wet saliva connecting the two beings together if only for a couple more milliseconds.
"That much was not necessary mother." The changeling says with eyes bearly open allowing only a tiny slit from which he can see through. Even with dark skin one can still see a faint tint of red upon his cheeks.
Without a final thought Chrysalis bears her fangs and sinks them into the changeling's neck and bites down hard as to allow for a painless death. With a few sporadic movements the changeling lets out a lonely whimper and then falls limp in the hold of its mother's embrace. Chrysalis then turns the spent changeling over on the sand as to reveal its soft underbelly. As she starts to caress the changeling's neck she stares at the small wound she managed to create and sees a small river of green ghushing out and crawling down the deceased changeling.
Looking at the small river she laps up the juices and attempts to stick her slithering tounge inside wound but it declines the attempted insertion. Chrysalis counters by sticking the tip of her hoof into it. Feeling a small resistance she pushes further in with a greater amount of force to open the narrow passage so as to allow her other hoof an opening to enter and to widen the already gaping hole. With a grunt she rips open the flesh. Blood, or something like it, spews out and covers her face. She does not even bat an eye as though almost accustomed to such an act. With a hole big enough established the changeling queen slithers her tounge inside the wound to relish in the fluids that are within. Not satisfied she starts chommping down on the ebony flesh leaving behind many a bite marks. Bones can be heard craking resembling a cymbal crash in an unorganized orchestra. Skin tearing, muscle mass ripping. All the while Chrysalis' head and tail thrash violently at the pleasure attained from this new found sustenance. Chrysalis looks up from the disheveled corpse to sit on her haunches and sees the sun in the sky. Almost mocking her. Just out of reach. Almost as if it knows.
Images of her triumphant conquest of Canterlot only to be torn asunder at the bright light that flung her and her babies to this trechous terrain flash through her mind's eye. Her eyes close as a single, lonely, tear dares to roll down her cheek.
"DAMN YOU CADANCE!!!" She yells at the loudest her regal vocal chords can manage with wide eyes. Forelegs flailing in the air or a foalish attempt to hit an image of her previous disguise. She starts to cry uncontrollable sobs as the growing heat the sun is emitting becomes too much for the crying queen and she too falls limp like the rest of her changelings and succumbs to a deep sleep.
In the distance a lonely white mare, with hair as black as a bottomless abyss covering one of her eyes and a long black tail that is a few inches shy of touching the floor walks towards a familiar landmark. Almost instantly she sees what anypony would describe as a murder scene. She checks all the bodies laid out in an unknowingly pattern and sees most of them have some sort of green substance around their muzzles. The porcelain pony sees a rather large creature and upon drawing nearer she can see that it is still breathing. She rests a hoof on the creature's forehead and immediately pulls it away. Surprised at how much hotter it is than the surrounding climate.
"Probably a heatstroke." She says to no one. The nameless pony picks up Chrysalis and balances the queen on her back before making her way back from whence she came.

This is my first fic and thus criticism will be greatly appreciated. Other than that hope you enjoy the ride.
Edge of the Everfree forest.
The sky is riddled with many a dark clouds positively oozing rain that coat the land in a wet, crystal sheen. The bountiful trees that cover most if not all of the Everfree expansion are clearly visible from the mouth of a cave that functions as a makeshift shelter for the two beings resting just inside. One of them being Queen Chrysalis who is laying on the floor, next to a wall further inside the cave. With her stomach towards the cool air. Her legs splayed out in an X with wooden stakes running through the holes of her misshapen hooves. Nailing her to the ground with no possible way to move. The other being, a white mare, sits with her hooves beneath her facing the mouth of the cave looking at the rain as it falls from the heavens. She closes her eyes as she takes a deep breath of the surrounding air that smells faintly of wet rocks and turns her head to see if Chrysalis is still asleep and sure enough she is. Upon this realization the nameless mare rolls over to her side and slides her hoof up and down her porcelain body and begins to draw small circles with the tip of her hoof, where her cutiemark should be.
She takes another quick glance at the changeling to ensure she is still sleeping before continuing. She stops the 'heavy' petting and parts her legs to reveal her glistening marehood winking at no one furiously. Taking long drawn out breaths, she starts to gently tap her love button. As she accidentally grazes her puffy lips she can't help but utter a high pitched whimper. Quickly she stops her massage and turns to make sure that she has not awaken her.....prisoner? As she notices the changeling's barrel rise and fall the nameless mare continues her ministrations and has drenched her hoof with love juices that seems to flow out of her as fast as the rain falls outside. She begins to slip the tip of her hoof inside her second mouth and she gasps as the intruder brings her to a new level of pleasure.
"N-no. You c-can't d-mmmmmph." She moans as she starts to furiously rub her nethers. "J-just this once.....okay?" She slows her hoof to an unbearable pace so as to draw out the pleasurable sensations. "Ohhhhh mmmmmph slow down Tri-"
"GAAAA!" Chrysalis moans as she starts to stir.
"Damn." The white pony says to herself as she begins to clean herself up.
As she finally gets up on all fours the porcelain pony makes her way towards the crude excuse of an infirmary. She stops just beside Chrysalis and towers over her as she watches the queen make pained expressions with her face while straining to keep her eyes closed. The mare places a hoof on the changeling's forehead to ensure that she is still okay. As Chrysalis starts to fidget around she opens her eyes quickly at the realization that she could not move her hooves and starts to dart her green eyes back and forth trying to make sense of the new world that she has found herself in. As she spots the mare standing over her, she lifts her jagged horn to fire off a spell but nothing happens as only sparks fly off the tip of her horn. She tries again but to no avail only gaining the same results. The two have a stand-off only expressing themselves with their eyes. The white mare staring at the changeling with absent eyes almost half lidded. While Chrysalis looked at her with eyes wide open and pupils the size of pin-pricks.
"It's okay." The nameless mare whispers.
"Who are you?! Where am I?! What have you-" is all Chrysalis can blurt out before a snow-white hoof places itself quite carefully on her lips.
"Shhh. It's alright. Your safe now." The white mare says as she cranes her neck down to snuggle her cheeck affectionately with Chrysalis' cheeck.
"What!....no stop!" Eyes welling up with water, struggling to speak between sobs and moans. "I-I-I don't......deserve it." She says as images of what she did to her children flash around in her head. Chrysalis lays motionless as she revels in the emotions the mysterious mare bathes her in.
"Ohhhh. It's simply delicious mmmmm d-dont stop." As the changeling layed the nameless pony stops the show of affection and reclines back on her haunches next to Chrysalis.
"N-no I-I need m-" Chrysalis gets cut off again by the same lonely hoof upon her lips.
"I cannot have you overpowering me just yet can I. Besides It wouldn't be in your best interests to gain power so quickly. Your body would not be able to take it for a while and I do apologize but I took the liberty of restraining you I was not sure if you would become violent or not."
"Where are we?" Chrysalis says as she begins to relax again.
"Edge of the Everfree forest opposite of Ponyville."
"Hmmm that place sounds vaguely familiar."
"It should. It is where the elements of harmony currently riside."
"Hmmm and what of Shining Armor and Princess Cadance?"
"The last I have heard of them was that they were going to get married." She says clueless. "Hey can I ask you something?"
"I suppose there is no harm. "
"What is a changeling doing out in the middle of a desert. I thought changelings usaully stay in or around the hive and I did not see a hive anywhere near where I picked you up." She says while arching her eyebrow.
"Well if you must know, wait I didn't tell you I was a changeling how do you know?"
"For starters you do not look like the usual pony and I have encountered your kind before. Quite the crafty things you are. I could not trust anypony for a while after that." She says as she unknowingly start to gyrate her hips.
"Can you untie me?" Chrysalis says as she slowy tugs at her hooves.
"Do not worry for I will in time. I just have to know if I can trust you. "
"And how can we achieve that?" Chrysalis says as she continues to look at her surroundings noticing a makeshift bed towards to mouth of the cave, a fire but a mere stone's throw away crackling.
"You can start by telling me your name. I can tell your a queen but that is all I can assess from your appearance. " The white mare says as she starts to rub the changeling's barrel taking special notice of the carapace that is harder than the rest of her pelt.
"You are smarter than you look." Chrysalis says with a toothy grin. "I am Chrysalis, queen of the changelings." Her two-toned voice applying extra emphasis on her title. "How about you? Do you have a naAAAME!" Chrysalis shouts as the nameless mare accidentally grazed across the changeling's sensitive teats and quickly pulls her hoof away.
With a crimson blush plastered on her face that is reminiscent of blood on freshly laid snow she begins to stutter. "I-I am Re-Revolver." She says looking away from Chrysalis and taking a special interest on the wall adjacent to the queen. "I-I I'm sorry." Revolver says as she finally gains enough courage to stare Chrysalis in the eye. "I'm sorry. I'm sort of in my...my ummm nevermind." She says as she trots away back to the mouth of the cave.
"Wait you can't leave me here like this. I demand that you release me!" Displeasure evident in her voice.
"Hush you'll be okay I have to go retrive s-some firewood? Yeah that's it be back in a jiffy." With that Revolver gallops out of cave and into the forest.
"COME BACK HERE DAMMIT!!!" Chrysalis yells as the faint hoofsteps can no longer be heard.
