What was once a peaceful week turned into a month of horror. Rainbow Dash was clearing the skies over Ponyville, Scootaloo was admiring her, the usual. No pony could have imagined what would've happened that changed Equistria, had happened from a small accident. It began with Scootaloo asking Rainbow Dash to perform a loop de loop at the speed of which her sonic rainboom was at, and Rainbow Dash, being the brash showoff she sometimes is, agreed to do it. When Rainbow Dash was done with her work she immediately went onto going at sonic rainboom speeds, and performing the loop de loop as well, but a unusually large leave flew into her eyes as she attempted to slow down and caused her to flew directly into the Everfree forest. When she finally removed the green blindfold, she saw a small, dark grey, wooden shack that would be no bigger than half of Fluttershy's cottage, and she was headed right for it. She crashed through a dark brown window and landed right into a large pot filled with who knows what, startling the owner. When Rainbow Dash shook her head clear she was greeted with the angry gaze of a crooked horned unicorn." That was my potion to revive the dead you imbecile! Now how am I supposed to bring my sister from the grave?" She shouted to the still partially dazed Rainbow Dash. " Sorry?" Was all that Rainbow Dash could say. "Well you still need to be punished. Now this will kill me but I will be at peace, you won't be." And with that, she blasted Rainbow Dash with her magic. When the spell ended the witch was nothing more than a pile of ashes, leaving Rainbow Dash to awaken from being knocked unconscious by the spell. When Rainbow Dash awoke, she felt like something's different. Seeing the witches book on the floor next to the pile, she trotted over to it. When she attempted to open it up however, she saw a ghastly sight: her hoof was rotted and a darker shade of cyan. Feeling the book may hold answers to what she was, she opened it up. For three hours she sat there trying to find out what she was, when she turned the last page she found out. She found she was a zombie, and upon reading "a zombie can turn any pony by simply biting them" she felt a sick sense of pleasure, and so left the shack. Taking the book with her and burning down the shack. And so that is how it was for the next month, ponies becoming zombies upon being bitten. Not even the four princesses's were safe, and in a matter of a couple of weeks, all of Equestria fell to the curse. Only three survivors remain: Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity. Each living through their own horror of the nightmare that has befallen them, Rarity has lost her dearly beloved Spike, for not even dragons and other creatures were safe from such a curse. Applejack lost her family, ,all the way from her farm to Apploosa, and Fluttershy had to go through the horror of watch everyone she knew turn into zombies. And so they hid. But it was only a week until they were found and captured. They were brought before Rainbow Dash, and Applejack and Rarity bit by Pinkie Pie and Twilight, leaving only Fluttershy to tremble at not only the sight of her friends changing, but at the sight of Rainbow Dash towering over her." Don't worry, it will be over quickly." She reassured her before biting onto the Yellow Pegasus, and watched the transformation take over Fluttershy. When the timid Pegasus looked up she no longer had the months fear in her, but understanding on how much strength and pleasure they feel, and now she feels it. Soon the newly zombified Equestria began to march onto its neighbours, the Griffon Nations was the first to fall under the decayed residents of Cloudsdale. Any resistance was futile, for the zombie army cannot be killed or subjected to any amount of pain, as they cannot feel pain anymore. Within a week there wasn't any Griffon left standing. Soon the other nations knew that the world now belongs to the zombies. ************************************************************************************ During the week the three survivors hid, Rainbow Dash had sent the Cutie Mark Crusaders to find them whilst the last living ponies hid in Zecora's old home. When the day came they had been found they were trying to find a way out of it. "Please don't let them come in" Fluttershy repeated over as if it was the only thing she knew to say. "Don't worry sugarcube, they won't come in" Applejack said, trying to reassure even herself, but the pounding on the door and Applebloom's yelling, for them to come out, nullified any hope she had of escape. For the windows were too small to be climbed through, and the door was the only way that offered any relief, but that was the very door being hammered on. "Maybe zombies have a better fashion sense than we ponies" Rarity told the others, as she had lost the will. The will to escape and run, the will to fight her sister and the will to live. And so convinced herself that being a zombie will not be so horrific, only Fluttershy's and Applejack's efforts kept her from running out to a zombified Sweetie Belle. "Come out sis. We just want you to be with us." Came Applebloom's yelling. And a moment later the door came of its rusted hinges revealing the three fillies and Spike, holding a chain to keep the soon to be zombies in place. And so they went, to the new future they were now expecting to live forever more as zombies.
