All but one

Sunlight rose over ponyville in a bright aurora of color. Waking the once-sleeping Twilight sparkle. she rose from her bed, her grey hairs stuck up from the rest. the bags under her eyes sagged deeper as she let out a long yawn. She fluffed up her feathers, and murmured a groggy "5 more minutes.." as she passed her bed. she levitated a brush, and brushed down her stray hairs. she applied her makeup to the bags under her eyes.  rain started to fall lightly outside followed by the crack of thunder. then a flash of lightning. The bright morning sky had been replaced with a stormy one. she thought about how her friends had lives of their own. they had families, and some had children Then there was Twilight. A princess. Ruling over equestria With the other princesses. She was immortal. Her friends where not. This often bothered her. It killed her to think of a life without her friends.

She heard a series of knocks on her front door, and went to see who it was in this kind of weather. She saw a distressed Pinkie Pie in her door frame. Her hair deflated. A lone tear dribbled down to the welcome mat.  "Pinkie, whats the matter?" Twilight asked.  " I- Its Rainbow D- Dash.." said pinkie. She was sobbing now, and could hardly Finnish her sentence.  "She w- was flying,.. A- And got in An A- Accident..."  Twilight began to cry as well, knowing what had happened after that. All of the things they had done together flashed before her eyes. it didn't feel right. she wanted to pinch herself, and wake up from this nightmare.  "N- No..." is all she could mutter before she broke down into silent sobs.  Pinkie offered support, and wrapped herself around Twilight in a warm embrace. The two mares stood there in the rain, their tears blending with the silence. " come inside pinkie..." said twilight.  They both entered the castle, wich at the time, now seemed dark, and gloomy. "T- Twilight,..?" pinkie asked. "Yes pinkie..?" Twilight responded with. "we need to G-Go and T-Tell the others..." pinkie stammered. no response. "Twilight?" pinkie asked. "What about fluttershy...?" twilight finally said. This took things to the next level. Fluttershy was everything to Rainbow Dash, and they shared a bond like no other. Pinkies Eyes widened, And She broke down into more tears.

"Twilight soon joined her with the crying. it lasted a little while, until they had calmed down. pinkie told her what and how everything had happened. " We have to go and tell them... " said Twilight. "What if they already know?" asked Pinkie. Twilight hadn't thought of this until now. " Im not sure pinkie..." Twilight replied. " We have no time to lose ether way, so lets go." Twilight said. the two ponies walked over to Fluttershy's cottage, And tapped on her door. Fluttershy opened up her door, and was surprised to see them standing out in the rain. " Why hello girls, Why are you out in the rain? here, come inside, and I'll fix you some tea." said Fluttershy. It was only then when she noticed the dried tears. "Oh, no, What's gotten you two so upset?" she said in a soft loving voice. "actually, T- Thats why W- We'r here.." said twilight. "we have some B- Bad news, Fluttershy" followed pinkie.

" What is it?" asked fluttershy.  "Its rainbow Dash, S- She was flying,.." Pinkie couldn't Finnish. she was overthrown by tears welding onto her cheeks. "And she Was clearing the sky, A- And she spun out of control..." twilight said, starting to lose to the tears as well. "Well, i think Y- You know the rest..." pinkie said beginning to sob. Fluttershy stood there in her own puddle of tears as she whimpered "no... N- No,... NO!". Pinkie leaned in to hug Fluttershy. "She was M- My everything,..." Fluttershy said between sobs.  Fluttershy looked at twilght with sadness in her eyes. "You can bring her back right?! BRING HER BACK!!!" Fluttershy screamed. "You must know a S- Spell... Please Twilight..." she said as she hugged the unicorn. "I'm sorry fluttershy, I cant do anything about it." Twilight said sadly. " Bring me to her." said fluttershy. "What? she's gone... you cant see her." said twilight, not sure what she meant. Twilight looked at pinkie with worry, then back to fluttershy. " I dont care, Take me to her grave if you have to." said fluttershy. "Fluttershy,... you can't... they don't have the body..." Pinkie broke the news to her.

Fluttershy looked at them in shock, and dispair. "But she-" She was cut off by Twilight's hoof. "We know. and we need to tell the others." Pinkie nodded to agree, and then fluttershy did as well. They where on their way to sweet apple acers. AJ was next.
