From the typical fire breathing dragon like the Rathian and Rathalos, to the water leviathan like the Lagiacrus, and to my two personal favorites like the Brachydios and Zinogre. But now we look to the only unknown monster there is, clouded in mystery. This monster is different from every other for multiple reasones, from it not being able to be classified as any type of monster to the black mist it can create that can infect any monster. This monster goes by the name of Gore Magala. Only known from myth with basically little to no information about this monster. Basically the black coated phantom of monster hunter. So now we go to the Gore Magala resting at the Primal Forest as this story begins. -Primal Forest, area 8, dawn- At this area rested the Gore Magala. This monster had black scales, four legs, wing arms, and the most noticeable feature of all no eyes. How does this thing see? The Khezu has the same problem, not to mention it has no music when fighting it. I thought it was a glitch but no. Anyway back on topic, the sunlight fell on to the face of the monster making it wake up. Still not moving the monster tried going back to sleep. 'Five more minutes' thought the Gore in his half awaken state. 'I can attack that village later. Get some payback for what they did. I'm mean-' His thoughts was intrupted by pain all over his body. 'Ugh... Damn hunters must have sleep bombed me.' But the pain continued all over his body. If that wasn't bad enough he couldn't feel the ground under his feet. 'Ok not sleep bomb-OW! What the hell is happening?!?' Thought the Gore Magala. This continued for a bit longer until it ceased. 'Finally it stopped. Ok, why does it feel I'm fal-' This thought was answered when he hit the ground making it roar in pain upon impact. "SON OF A BITCH!" Screamed the Gore however this made realize something, he could talk. "That's new. Still what happened?" Asked the Gore aloud. He took a long look around seeing that he was in a forest but not the one he was at the start. Nearby was a stream of water so he decided to walk to it in hopes to find something to tell him were he was. Getting to it he saw something that made him jump back. "What did I just see?!?" Said the Gore in shock. He went back to the stream to make a horrible discovery, it was his reflection! No long the deadly and powerful Gore that he was but now horse thing. It looked like the Krien but majorly different. He had a black coat, a black with some blue mane and tail, still had his wing arms, and purple eyes. "The Hell?!? Why do I look like that? And now I have eyes! What happened to me?! I the Gore Magala, controller of the frenzy virus, the black phontom of monsters, and destroyer of villages have become. THIS?" "Can this get any worse?" Asked the Gore aloud. He looked around to find somthing to take all of his rage on. He ran up to the closest tree and punched it with his wing arm making it snap on impact. "At least I still have some of my power. When I find the one responsible their death will not be a painless one. And why am I talking to myself!?!" Said the Gore in his rage. Deciding that his anger wasn't getting him anyway so he went back to were he crashed and noticed a bag. Curious he went over to it and opened it to see what was inside. Inside of the bag was 50 gold coins, a book, but the two that got his attention, a note and a map. He took the note with his claw on the end of his wing arm and silently read the note. Dear powerful monster You have been transported to the land of Equestria, a magical land of ponies and other ceatures. I was able to bring you here with the event going on. It will continue but I was able to direct it on a powerful monster which is you. Though I don't know where you will land or if you're the right monster what I do know is that you should be at elder dragon power. In the bag should be a map to direct you to were I need you to be. Now I know someone at your power doesn't like to be ordered around but I assure you that your reward will be worth it. Until next message. -Unknown 'Um, interesting. Well than it got its power monster that's for sure but who is this? Only time can tell but what is this reward? Better check the map to get an idea on were I am.' Putting down the note he took the map in his claws. At first it was blank which confused the Gore but than an image appeared, it showed that he was at some forest called the Everfree. 'Ok than I just have to go that way than I'll get to a town called Ponyville. These name are just- ugh. You know what? I don't care.' Thought the Gore as he started to head in the direction out of the forest. -Sometime later- The Gore Magala was still walking to his destination in deep thought. 'Positives, I still have my wing arms, some of my power, and four legs. Image if I had two than four, that would be more annoying than it is already. I wonder if I still have my other abilities?' He then turned to the nearest tree and fired his frenzy blast at the tree making it shatter to a million pieces and leaving a black mist where the once standing tree. This brought a smile to the Gore's muzzle. 'Even in this weaken form I'm still powerful, though I'm going to rely more on brains than power. Still it's not anything I don't normally do but more so now than then. I swear most of those monsters didn't have a brain to begin with. Back on topic, can my frenzy virus affect the inhabitants of this place? Only time can tell I suppose.' The Gore than continued to his destination until he heard a scream. This made him stop dead in his tracks. 'A Human scream, at least I found the local inhabitants. Now where did that come from?' The Gore perked his ear to home in on the sound for when it went off again. "SOMEPONY HELP!!!" The shout came from the left of the Gore to which he turned to the direction. All he could tell from this scream was that it belonged to a female and the stupid word she said. 'Somepony? Really? What's with this place and names? Questions for later, for now I need to get there. Whatever this "pony" is it's obviously intelligent, female, and can give me some information and if not...' The Gore thought as he ran to the direction of the scream '... I'll make a meal out of her.' Enter Twilight---A few minutes before--- Twilight was walking through the Everfree Forest after leaving Zecora's home with some herbs in her saddlebags. You see early this month she found a book that allowed her magically enchant mirrors to make the one in front of it to show a reflection of their true form. With this anyone can tell if there was an illusion or more importantly if they are a changeling. After testing the spell it was discovered that it worked! You could see right through illusion and changeling's disguises, but there was a cost. The spell took a lot of magic to cast. It would took a highly powerful unicorn to cast it, even for the four alicorn princesses it was tough to casted. The only one who seem like to have the easiest time to cast it was Twilight. Twilight enchanted some small mirrors and sent them to the Princesses, her family, and kept some for herself. She was going to give them to her friends but they were destroyed with her house when Tirek attacked, the mirrors not her friends. If her friends were killed by him she would probably go Smile HD/Cupcakes on his ass. That would be pretty awesome and be very Gore-Magala! Get it,cause it's his spices name. Hahahaha, it's funny. Back on track before that horrible joke, after they used their Rainbow Powers on him and got a crystal tree house for reasons, I don't know why don't bother asking ok? After some time or in this case after the events of The Lost Treasure of Griffinstone Twilight decided to cast the spell on a huge mirror but the outcome was different than predicted. It worked but it drained her of her magic causing Twilight to get a magic blight. This made her flying abilities drop drastically and that's wasn't the worst of it, she was unable to use any magic. You can imagine what she went through. After and I'm not kidding a 2 day straight freak out on one breathe without needing to breath, and I thought Pinkie can talk for a long time. She eventually calmed down a bit and asked the Princesses if they had a cure. To only find out that they won't have the material until next week in which Twilight than reacted with another major freak out. After that happened she got the idea of asking Zecora if she had the thing she needed and well she did. So now we go back to Twilight who is now walking in the Eeverfree Forest with the material in her bags and for the first time in days in a good mood. 'Finally things are going my way for a change.' Twilight happily thought 'Now all I have to do is make the cure and I'll finally be able to use magic again! I swear if I had to go one more day with out using magic I would have gone crazy! Ah but soon I'll have it back and then-' A horrible smell came into her nostrils disrupting her train of thought. 'By Celestia what is that smell?' She thought as she covered her noise 'Wait a minute, it smells like-'She turned to see six green eyes starring right at her. "Timber Wolves!" She screamed as she ran in the other direction with the two Timber Wolves right on her tail. 'Was there three of them?' She thought as she ran 'Were is the other one?' Just than the third lugged out at her from the side and attempted to clapped it's jaws on her wing but it narrowly missed only getting a few feathers. "SOMEPONY HELP!!!" She screamed as she continued to run, eventually she made it to a clearing still with the three Timber Wolves chasing her. At the edge of the clearing was a dead end, with a rock wall against here back there was no where to go. 'I can't use magic and I can't fly fast enough to get out of here and there is a rock wall against my back. I'm doomed.' The Timber Wolves surround her one off them pounced. Twilight closed her eyes awaiting the end but it never came. She hear something crashing to her left and opened her eyes to see the Timber Wolve that was just about to pounce her was now one the ground and in front of her was a black stallion. He had a black coat, mane, and tail with blue highlights on both the mane and tail. His wings was also black with what looked like three claws at the front of them. And finally his cutiemark was a sword with a pink mist surrounding it. He was also about the same size as her brother. "You all right?" He asked turning his head to her. His eyes was purple and was those sharp teeth? All she could do was nod. He than turned back to the Timber Wolves. "I don't know what you are but if you want a fight, bring it!" Just updated already! The author was currently on his bed playing monster hunter 4 on his new account. He has just faced the Gore Magala on the Boat and was now at Cheeko Sands. Deciding that he had enough of monster for now he saved the game before turning off his 3DS. After setting it up to charge he grabbed his tablet and went on fimfiction to see if there was any new chapters up. There wasn't any so he went to the main page of the sit to see the new story along with the latest updates but something caught his eye. In the latest updates there was a story called My Little Monster Hunter, the story he was writing. He had updated since July and now there it was saying a new chapter was added. Was he hacked? Was it a glitch? He than tap on the story bringing it on his tablet screen. It seemed normal but there was a chapter that he didn't make, it was called "Just update already!" with a total of 717 words in the chapter. Not only that but Pinkie was on the character list on the bottom between Twilight and the OC tag. 'What the heck is going on?' Thought the Author, 'I know I didn't do this but than how did? It couldn't be my brother he's too lazy to write this, not to mention he doesn't know my password. I still need to make him a account on here. A hacker? This seems like too much work just to do this. SuperKamek? Wait, how would that even work? He didn't even update Monster Hunter MLP: Frontier since June so why would he make a chapter in my story?' Deciding to ask questions later he tap the new chapter to see what it was about. A bright light appeared on his tablet making the author cover his eyes. After the light faded he opened his eyes to only to see Pinkie Pie sitting on his bed right next to his tablet. "Hi!" The author was extremelysurprised and fell off his bed, unfortunately for him he was on the top bunk. He landed on the floor with a thud. "Ow..." He said in pain. "You ok Joseph?"asked Pinkie with worry in her voice. "I'm ok just do scare me like that." He said getting up. Pinkie jumped off the bed with his tablet in her mane. "Sorry about that." She said handing- hoofing- maneing - giving his tablet to him. When he got it he put it on his dresser. "So Pinkie what can I do for you?" asked Joseph. "Well" She started, "I want you to make a new chapter in MLMH." "What?" "My Little Monster Hunter" "Oh, well than consider it done." "Really!?!" Pinkie asked excitedly. "Yea. I haven't made a chapter for too long now and I think it's about time." Joseph said. "Yay! Bring the chapter!" She said excitedly as she bounced in the air. "Not yet" Pinkie stop bouncing and hovered in the air. It's Pinkie Pie don't question it. "Joseph, we both now how that's going to go." She said with a glare. "How about this, if I don't make a new chapter every 2 weeks you come and remind me and when you do it should be up 3 days after. Unless I have a good excuse anyway. Does that sound far?" Pinkie thought about for a few moments. "Do you Pinkie Promise?" "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Said Joseph doing the motions as he said it. "Oki Doki Loki!" Said Pinkie, "Now what?" "No one is home and I am in the mood for some cupcakes, do you want to help bake?" Asked Joseph. He just notice that Pinkie wasn't in the room anymore. Walking out he went to the kitchen to see Pinkie already had everything out. "I'll take that as a yes." Timber Fight The Gore Magala was currently standing between a purple kirin and three wooden foxes, yeah that's a thing. This is one weird fanfic but it can't get weirder, right? I have a bad feeling about this. Some time before that. The Gore was currently looking over the purple kirin and the three wooden foxes surrounding it. 'Well it's not human so that's a plus. It's a kirin but why does it look so weird? I hate going into fights without knowing the opponent but if I want answers this purple kirin is my best bet.' The Gore began flapping his wings to get up into the air. The fox than pounced on the kirin but the Gore seeing this charged hitting the fox in midair. The wooden fox was now on the ground but getting back up. 'Either my power is weaker or they can take a hit.' He looked over his shoulder to look at the purple kirin who looked confused and shocked. "You all right?" He asked. The kirin some how looked even more shocked with wid eyes. 'Can eyes even get that big?' Thought the Gore. She nodded and with that he turned his attention back to the foxes. "I don't know what you are but if you want a fight, bring it!" The wolves howled at the challenge and the Gore roared back. The closest fox rushed toward the Gore but the Gore easily dodge and smashed it with it's wingarms causing it to fly back into the other wooden foxes shattering both to pieces. The last one was able to get close to the Gore and bit his wingarm with all its might. The Gore didn't even flinch. He raised his wing in the air with the fox still on it. The Gore grabbed the fox by the throat and pried the fox off. This was immediately followed by the Gore throwing it at a tree. When it impacted the tree it was also shattered to pieces. "That was surprisingly easy." said the Gore. "I was expecting a little more." The Gore than began to walk to the purple kirin who was both in shock and awe. Her mouth was wide opened and if it was possible her eyes were now bigger. 'How big can it's eyes get?' "You ok?" asked the Gore. The kirin shook it's head and replied. "I'm ok, but who are you?" She asked. "I'm the Gore Magala, or at least was anyway. And who are you kirin?" "I'm Twilight Sparkle. Wait a minute, why did you call me a kirin and what do you mean you were the Gore Magala?" She asked. 'What is with this place and names?' Thought the Gore. "I was sleeping at Primal Forest and through a pain process was was teleported here as this." He said pointing at him self. "But if you're not a kirin than what are you?" "I'm a pony and you are too. I'm an alicorn so I can use magic, fly, and control the weather. You are a pegasus so you can fly and control the weather." "Interesting, is there any-" Whatever he was going to say next was stopped when he heard a growl. Looking behind him he saw the pieces of the wooden foxes coming together to form one big one. "These wooden foxes don't give it up." The Gore said getting into a battle stance. "There called timber wolves, and we need to get out of here!" She started to run with the Gore following from behind but the giant timber wolf block the path. The Gore seeing this took to the air with speed that make Rainbow Dash jealous and tackled the giant timber wolf. It was pushed back giving Twilight a way to escape but the wolf wasn't done yet. It try to take a bit out of Twilight but it was hit by something. The place that was hit currently had a black cloud surrounding it. It looked up to see the Gore Magala in the air. It fire the blackball much like a dragon hit the timber wolf straight on the snout creating a black mist. This enraged the wolf, it took a deep breath breathing in the black mist and roared. Twilight was amazed by this, just what is this Gore Magala? "Come on we have to get out of here!" The Gore heard this and landed right next to her. "This way!" She said as she ran with the Gore following close behind. The timber wolf seeing it's pray get away sprinted after them but suddenly got tried. It tried with all it's might to get them but the world started to go black as it fell. The Gore saw this and smirked, he knew what that means. 'So my frenzy virus still works and I have a timber wolf under my control, interesting.' The timber wolf woke up feeling more powerful and violent, it was about to go after it's pray but a voice rang out it's head. 'No' said the voice. 'Stay in the woods until I call upon you.' The wolf complied and went another direction away from them. 'So now I have a creature under my control lets see what else this place has to offer.' The Gore thought as he continued to run with Twilight to... where are they going? Enter the Pinkie The Gore and Twilight continued to run until they were out of the forest. Once they were out they took a minute to catch there breathe. After sometime Twilight broke the silence. "I didn't really get an answer (huff) who and what are you?" Twilight said still out of breath. "He's a pony version of the Gore Magala!" Both Twilight and the Gore jumped in surprise by this new voice. They looked to where the voice came from only to find a certain pink pony holding a small plate vanilla cupcakes with white frosting. "Pinkie where did you come from and where did you get those cupcakes?" Asked Twilight in a surprise and angry voice. The Gore however was thinking about names and how stupid these are. "Well when a mommy and daddy love each other very much-" "No not that!" Twilight said quickly with a slight blush. "I'm mean where did you just come from?" "Oh! Well I just got back from the author house, it was fun! We made cupcakes and played some monster hunter! His name is Joseph and-" "Does she all go into a rant? Seriously she's still going on one breath of air, how?" The Gore whispered to Twilight. "It's pinkie don't question it. And trust me I try to once, it didn't end well". Twilight whispered back. Pinkie was continuing to talk on that one breath. "-He went with a insect glaive and asked me what I was going to use. After some time thinking I went with the-" "Sorry to interrupt you ms... who are you again?" "I'm Pinkie Pie, Ponyville's best party planner!" She said excitedly. "Ok than." Said the Gore slightly confused. "Well since I didn't get to properly introduce myself I at least was the Gore Magala, controller of the Frenzy Virus. Pleasure to meet both of you." At the end he put his wing in front of himself and did a little bow. "So is your name Gore Magala or is it something else?" Asked Twilight. "It's actually my spices name but as far as I am aware I the last of my kind so I just went with it, I never actually had a name of my own." This got the interest of Twilight, what does he mean by last of his kind? "Well you do now Dark Virus!" Pinkie said "This is going to be so much fun! I'll throw you a party and-" "Sorry to interrupt you Ms Pie but what did you just call me?" "Well you said you didn't have a name so I'll just call you Dark Virus or Virus for short." "How did you come up with that name?" Asked Twilight. "Well for one your coat is dark and you said you control a frenzy virus thing so Dark Virus!" Pinkie explained. The Gore thought about this for a moment than said "Sure I'll just go by that. Though I does sound stupid." He muttered the last part. "I can see where you got the idea from." "That and I did look at the author's notes on the characters." - ... How much did you see? "Some info about Virus, two other characters that will be in the story later, part of Dark Thunder's backstory, and some information about Queen of the Hunt." So basically all of it then, just don't spoil it ok? "Not a even a little?" Not at all, especially with Queen of the Hunt. Do you understand Pinkie? "Oki, doki, Loki." Now with that out of the way lets get back to the story. - "What do you mean by look at the author's notes?" Asked Dark Virus. "It's Pinkie don't question it." Twilight simple said. "I'll try. Well how about we get out of here and go to your place, I would prefer not runs into any more wildlife." "Virus is right, we should get going. I'll see you tomorrow at the wedding Pinkie." "Wait! Your welcome to Ponyville party is going to be the day after tomorrow, alright?" "I thought you would have made it today but still if he does know anything that probably won't be good. Is that the reason?" Asked Twilight. "That and the author is too lazy to make one." I won't deny that. "Ok then, I bid you adieu." And with that the party left. Twilight and Dark Virus went to her house and talk about the species, history, laws, and all that fun stuff about equestria. "So you're not going to show them that?" Would you want to read about that Pinkie? "No." Than who would? End of chapter. Slice of Life The Gore Magala woke up from his slumber surrounded by books from his lecture from Twilight last night. They went over everything from the three types of ponies, the currency, and some of the history. After Twilight retired for the night for some wedding which was today he study until he fell asleep in this mountain of books. The Gore was a bit groggy but was able to get up which was unlike him. He normally got up with ease and was always on high alert. 'Must be the new body.' Thought the Gore. 'Also I have to start calling myself Dark Virus since Pinkie gave me the name, though what is with this place and names?' Deciding not to question it he cleaned up and put all the books away. It took him about twenty minutes until he was done. After that he got out of the guest bedroom and headed to the kitchen for something to eat. Entertaining the kitchen Virus was about to grab something to eat but then a thought came to mind, what could he eat? 'What can I eat? I doubt she would have any meat and I'm not sure if I can even eat meat or hay in that matter. She did say that dragons can eat gems and I technically was a dragon but I have a feeling that it won't turn out well.' Looking around for something he found some apples. 'That would due.' Reaching to grap one with his wingarm he grabbed it and took a bit. 'This is do delicious! I need to know where she got this.' Thought Virus getting another one. "Who are you?" Asked someone. Looking to where the voice came from he found what looked like a dragon with purple scales and green spikes, nothing he recognized though he did remember that Twilight did mention him. "I'm Dark Virus and I'll take it you Spike?" "I am. I'll take it you're the one Twilight was talking about?" "I am." "She said you were a dragon." "Dragon is the closest thing that I can compare myself to and was until this happened." He said pointing at himself. "Oh, well I'm going to the wedding so I'll need that." He said as he walked over and picked up a big wrapped box that Virus some how haven't seen. 'How did I miss that?' Thought Virus. "Need help with that?" "Yea." He grabbed the box with his wingarm and put it on his back. Both him and Spike walked out the door and headed to the town hall. During the walk Spike tried to break the silence. "So... how do you like it here?" Asked Spike. "Well I can't really say since I only been here for a day and even then I was at a forest fight a timber wolf or at a library learning about Equestria but so far so good." Spike was about to ask another question but it was I by a roar. "What was that?" Ask Virus. "Probably another monster attack. No big deal." Spike said with out a care which surprises Virus. "Why do you sound so uninterested?" "It happens every other week for over a year. Me and everypony else are used to it." "Uh... Well then..." He was taken off guard by that answer. "Can you carry this the rest of the way? I'm just going to check to see if they need help." With that he handed Spike the box and flew away. The main six were currently fighting the bugbear and talking about stuff. Mainly about Dark Virus. "So where is he now?" Asked AppleJack as she lassoed the beast. "Last I checked he was asleep surrounded by books. I guess he was more after I called it a night." Said Twilight while she fired a blast of magic at the bugbear. "Looks like you found another egghead Twilight. If I didn't know better I would guess he was your coltfriend." Teased Rainbow Dash making Twilight blush. "Rainbow Dash! It's not lady like to say such things about a pony you haven't met and that she just met the other day." Scoff Rarity. "Would like to meet him soon though. By the Pinkie described him he does sound like a gentlecolt." "He was nice and tomorrow there will be a party and it's going to be so much fun!" Pinkie exclaimed. Oh by the way Pinkie DT said hi. - "Why would Diamond Tiara say hi?" The other DT. "(Gasp) Dark Thunder!?! That story is finally up! That great, I am going to go over after this!" For now just concentrate on this. And please don't go there. "Why?" He's currently pissed off at me. "What did you do?" I'll tell you after this. - "Twilight look out!" Screamed Flutter Shy, the bugbear was right on top of Twilight but before it could attack it was blasted on its side by what looked like a black fireball. Twilight knew what that meant, before the bugbear could react Dark Virus came flying in with speed that rivaled Rainbow Dash and tackled the monster causing it to crash into a cart. Virus landed on the ground next to Twilight. "You alright Twilight?" Asked Virus. "I'm ok. Thanks for the save, again." "Attack by monsters two days in a row, and I thought I had monster problems where I'm from." Twilight's friends were next to her to see if she was alright but then noticed she wasn't alone. "Hi Dark Virus!" Said Pinkie. "Greetings Miss Pie." "So this is your friend that you were talking about? Well darling he's-" before Rarity could finish her sentence the bugbear got back up looking very pissed. "Introductions for later for now we have to... what is it? It looks like a bug and a bear." "It's a bugbear." "I swear, what's with this place and names?" Extending his wings at the same time as Rainbow they both took off. In there charge Rainbow Dash found out something horrible, he was faster then her. She was going to do something but remembering the task at hand she regained focus. Virus made first impact on the bugbear chest with Rainbow not two seconds later on it's head causing it to fall back. Seeing this opportunity Virus fried a frenzy blast on its head doing damage and effecting it with the frenzy Virus to some extent. 'Need a plan.' Thought Virus. He dodged a punch and flew back firing a frenzy blast at the beast. Looking back he saw a incomplete building with support beams which gave him an idea. Firing another frenzy blast at the big bear to get its attention. "Over here ugly!" This enraged the bugbear and it charged. Leading the beast to the building he weaved between the support beams as the bugbear charged through them breaking as it went. Virus knowing this stop suddenly and charged behind hitting the bugbear. Recovering immediately him gallup until he was out of the now broken support beams. Taking in the size of the structure he got in position. 'Perfect.' He stood there waiting for the bugbear to get out. Twilight and her friends were coming up to him and the structure but Virus stopped them before they were too close. "You might want to stay behind me." He said. "Why exactly?" Asked Twilight summing up all theirs question. "You'll see in 3." The bugbear saw them as it was in the structure. "2." The bugbear charge at them gaining speed as it went. "1." The bugbear was not 3 feet away but before it could attack the structure fell on it trapping it underneath the debris. "And that would be 0." Virus said with a smirk. "Clever move Virus, but now how are we going to get it to leave?" Asked Twilight. "Leave that to me Twilight my dear." This causes Twilight blush a bit as her friends chuckled. "But didn't you mention that there was a wedding today?" This got a immediate reaction from everypony. "Oh, the dresses. Actually forget about them we're about to miss it! The is positively dreadful!" Exclaimed Rarity. "We have to go! Thanks for the help Virus!" Twilight said as she and her friends galloped to the wedding. After they were out of sight Virus looked around him and seeing no pony he went to the bugbear's head and exhaled his frenzy virus causing the beast to go frenzied. Getting up it stood in front of Virus. "You are to go into the Everfree Forest and wait for my command." The bugbear complied and made his way to the forest, meanwhile Dark Virus was smiling. 'Three Timberwolves and now a bugbear, at this rate I will have an army in quite some time.' Now he started to make his way to the wedding but something dawned on him. "Which way do I go exactly?" Questions After I kid you not a half hour Virus finally found the place. The doors were open and all the current residents were exiting the building. He didn't see Twilight anywhere so he went next to the door waiting for her to get out. There were many ponies leaving with many colors and shapes but one caught his eye, it looked like a subspecies of a pony but was more insect like with holes in it's legs, bug wings, and a black carapace. Twilight didn't mention this subspecies of the ponies but for now question for later, after all she did help him all of last night with most of his question so it was time to return the favor. Twilight was the final one exiting with her friends and four others that he didn't recognize. A white unicorn that appeared to be the the same size as him accompany by a slightly larger pink unicorn the that also had wings. What's the word, alicorn was it? With this two there was another taller midnight blue alicorn with a mane and tail that looked like the night sky. 'She looks rather dashing.' Thought Virus. And finally there was the tallest one of all, a pure white alicorn with kinda a rainbow mane, not as much color as the other rainbow mane pony but meh. They all looked at me with the white unicorn saying "Is this the one you were talking talking about Twily?" A nickname, brother maybe? Or related to the tall white one? "Yes he is BBBBF." I said the first thing that came to mind after that. "A what?" "Best Brother ." Why didn't she just say that? Or a short version of that? "I see, well I think a proper introduction are in order." He put his wingarm in front of him and bowed. "My name is Dark Virus, controller of the frenzy virus and once Gore Magala." This got some curious looks from everypony with the exception of Twilight and Pinkie. The blue alicorn was the first to speak. "For once being a monster as Twilight describe you seem to be very well mattered." Virus chuckle at this. "I try to be the expectation. So if a may prominent who might you be?" "I am Luna princess of the night." Said the blue alicorn now known as Luna. 'That's a pretty name.' Thought Virus. She pointed to the tall white one and said, "This is Celestia my older sister and princess of the sun." And pointing at the last two she continued, " This is Cadence princess of love and her captain of the guards husband Shining Armor." "It's a pleasure to meet all of you." Said Virus. "Indeed it is." Said Celestia. "Let's take this somewhere more private and comfortable, we have some questions that we would like to ask you." "I thought as much. Lead the way." (One walk later) All the ponies were currently sitting around a large table in Twilight's castle and the questioning began with Virus saying the first words. "Before we begin I just want to say that I'll answer every question to the best of my abilities but I will ask some questions myself. Shall we begin?" As soon as he said that Rainbow asked immediately. "How are you faster than me?!?" "Rainbow Dash!" Twilight scolded but Virus gave a chuckle. "I'm not." "Uh?" "You see I have an immense take off speed from the ground to the air but other than that I'm not that fast. If it's from this side of the room to the other than I would win but if it's from one side of the town to the other or a greater distance I have no doubt that you'll win." This answer seemed to satisfy Rainbow Dash. Twilight than asked a question that was bugging here since he introduce himself. "You said you're the last of your kind, what does that mean?" This got everypony interest but Virus upon hearing this gave a sad sigh. "Not my favorite story to tell but this will help to explain a lot. I hope everyone is comfortable because it a long story. It began a long time ago when my kind the Gore Magalas were in our per say golden age. We dominated the planet thanks to one of our natural abilities, the frenzy virus. Before you ask it an effect of some of my attacks that when it's affected it'll make whatever is affected more aggressive, stronger and faster." "That seems like a tactical blunder to give your opponent a power up." Said Shining Armor. "It would be if there wasn't another ability of the virus, you see whatever is under the influence of the virus is also under the users control." "That does sound mighty powerful but what's that have to do with being the the last of your kind?" Asked Applejack. "If you came across such a creature what would you do? The humans where fearful of our power in which I don't blame them but what they did I find unacceptable, they started to hunt us. Normally this wouldn't be that big of a deal as humans do hunt monsters on a regular basis with various levels of success but with my kind they hunted us to extinction. The only trace that my kind even existed was ancient stories and me. I'm only Gore Magala that appeared after that event and that was from thousands of years ago." Pity rang out though all the ponies in the room for Virus after hearing this story. "I'm sorry to hear that Dark Virus." Said Luna. "One shouldn't go through that experience. You can stay at your castle as a guest if you want." "Temping but I would like to stay here if I may permit." "Sure you can stay here but any reason why?" Asked Twilight. "Well this is the he place that I did first appeared in and I would like to get a little more aquatinted to all of this before I go somewhere else. Any other questions?" "In your world where there any ponies? And if I'm correct you're a black dragon with four legs, two wingarms, and no eyes when you were a monster. Is that right?" Asked Celestia which surprised Virus. "That's dead on, how did you know what I looked like? All I said was a black dragon was the closest thing to describe me nothing else. As for the other question this is the first time I ever saw any ponies in my life." "Well there goes that theory. I've been in multiple other dimensions with Star Swirl and one of them was filled with monster with your kind being one of them but there was many ponies there and since you said that this is the first time you ever saw one then you aren't from there. Even if that was the case I would need help to go there." "Interesting, did this Star Swirl character mention anything about a event?" Ask Virus. "Now thinking about it he did, so that explains why you're here." "Not quite, you see when I got here I was greeted with a letter and a map with said letter saying follow the map along with the reward will be worth it." Everypony looked worried at this. "That does sound worrisome, if you get another message alert me immediately. But as for this event it will go on for I don't even know how long but we all should expect more on the way, understood?" Into Equestrian The world of monster hunter, a place with more deadly monsters than you can count. From the typical fire breathing dragon like the Rathian and Rathalos, to the water leviathan like the Lagiacrus, and to my two personal favorites like the Brachydios and Zinogre. But now we look to the only unknown monster there is, clouded in mystery. This monster is different from every other for multiple reasones, from it not being able to be classified as any type of monster to the black mist it can create that can infect any monster. This monster goes by the name of Gore Magala. Only known from myth with basically little to no information about this monster. Basically the black coated phantom of monster hunter. So now we go to the Gore Magala resting at the Primal Forest as this story begins. -Primal Forest, area 8, dawn- At this area rested the Gore Magala. This monster had black scales, four legs, wing arms, and the most noticeable feature of all no eyes. How does this thing see? The Khezu has the same problem, not to mention it has no music when fighting it. I thought it was a glitch but no. Anyway back on topic, the sunlight fell on to the face of the monster making it wake up. Still not moving the monster tried going back to sleep. 'Five more minutes' thought the Gore in his half awaken state. 'I can attack that village later. Get some payback for what they did. I'm mean-' His thoughts was intrupted by pain all over his body. 'Ugh... Damn hunters must have sleep bombed me.' But the pain continued all over his body. If that wasn't bad enough he couldn't feel the ground under his feet. 'Ok not sleep bomb-OW! What the hell is happening?!?' Thought the Gore Magala. This continued for a bit longer until it ceased. 'Finally it stopped. Ok, why does it feel I'm fal-' This thought was answered when he hit the ground making it roar in pain upon impact. "SON OF A BITCH!" Screamed the Gore however this made realize something, he could talk. "That's new. Still what happened?" Asked the Gore aloud. He took a long look around seeing that he was in a forest but not the one he was at the start. Nearby was a stream of water so he decided to walk to it in hopes to find something to tell him were he was. Getting to it he saw something that made him jump back. "What did I just see?!?" Said the Gore in shock. He went back to the stream to make a horrible discovery, it was his reflection! No long the deadly and powerful Gore that he was but now horse thing. It looked like the Krien but majorly different. He had a black coat, a black with some blue mane and tail, still had his wing arms, and purple eyes. "The Hell?!? Why do I look like that? And now I have eyes! What happened to me?! I the Gore Magala, controller of the frenzy virus, the black phontom of monsters, and destroyer of villages have become. THIS?" "Can this get any worse?" Asked the Gore aloud. He looked around to find somthing to take all of his rage on. He ran up to the closest tree and punched it with his wing arm making it snap on impact. "At least I still have some of my power. When I find the one responsible their death will not be a painless one. And why am I talking to myself!?!" Said the Gore in his rage. Deciding that his anger wasn't getting him anyway so he went back to were he crashed and noticed a bag. Curious he went over to it and opened it to see what was inside. Inside of the bag was 50 gold coins, a book, but the two that got his attention, a note and a map. He took the note with his claw on the end of his wing arm and silently read the note. Dear powerful monster You have been transported to the land of Equestria, a magical land of ponies and other ceatures. I was able to bring you here with the event going on. It will continue but I was able to direct it on a powerful monster which is you. Though I don't know where you will land or if you're the right monster what I do know is that you should be at elder dragon power. In the bag should be a map to direct you to were I need you to be. Now I know someone at your power doesn't like to be ordered around but I assure you that your reward will be worth it. Until next message. -Unknown 'Um, interesting. Well than it got its power monster that's for sure but who is this? Only time can tell but what is this reward? Better check the map to get an idea on were I am.' Putting down the note he took the map in his claws. At first it was blank which confused the Gore but than an image appeared, it showed that he was at some forest called the Everfree. 'Ok than I just have to go that way than I'll get to a town called Ponyville. These name are just- ugh. You know what? I don't care.' Thought the Gore as he started to head in the direction out of the forest. -Sometime later- The Gore Magala was still walking to his destination in deep thought. 'Positives, I still have my wing arms, some of my power, and four legs. Image if I had two than four, that would be more annoying than it is already. I wonder if I still have my other abilities?' He then turned to the nearest tree and fired his frenzy blast at the tree making it shatter to a million pieces and leaving a black mist where the once standing tree. This brought a smile to the Gore's muzzle. 'Even in this weaken form I'm still powerful, though I'm going to rely more on brains than power. Still it's not anything I don't normally do but more so now than then. I swear most of those monsters didn't have a brain to begin with. Back on topic, can my frenzy virus affect the inhabitants of this place? Only time can tell I suppose.' The Gore than continued to his destination until he heard a scream. This made him stop dead in his tracks. 'A Human scream, at least I found the local inhabitants. Now where did that come from?' The Gore perked his ear to home in on the sound for when it went off again. "SOMEPONY HELP!!!" The shout came from the left of the Gore to which he turned to the direction. All he could tell from this scream was that it belonged to a female and the stupid word she said. 'Somepony? Really? What's with this place and names? Questions for later, for now I need to get there. Whatever this "pony" is it's obviously intelligent, female, and can give me some information and if not...' The Gore thought as he ran to the direction of the scream '... I'll make a meal out of her.'
Enter Twilight---A few minutes before--- Twilight was walking through the Everfree Forest after leaving Zecora's home with some herbs in her saddlebags. You see early this month she found a book that allowed her magically enchant mirrors to make the one in front of it to show a reflection of their true form. With this anyone can tell if there was an illusion or more importantly if they are a changeling. After testing the spell it was discovered that it worked! You could see right through illusion and changeling's disguises, but there was a cost. The spell took a lot of magic to cast. It would took a highly powerful unicorn to cast it, even for the four alicorn princesses it was tough to casted. The only one who seem like to have the easiest time to cast it was Twilight. Twilight enchanted some small mirrors and sent them to the Princesses, her family, and kept some for herself. She was going to give them to her friends but they were destroyed with her house when Tirek attacked, the mirrors not her friends. If her friends were killed by him she would probably go Smile HD/Cupcakes on his ass. That would be pretty awesome and be very Gore-Magala! Get it,cause it's his spices name. Hahahaha, it's funny. Back on track before that horrible joke, after they used their Rainbow Powers on him and got a crystal tree house for reasons, I don't know why don't bother asking ok? After some time or in this case after the events of The Lost Treasure of Griffinstone Twilight decided to cast the spell on a huge mirror but the outcome was different than predicted. It worked but it drained her of her magic causing Twilight to get a magic blight. This made her flying abilities drop drastically and that's wasn't the worst of it, she was unable to use any magic. You can imagine what she went through. After and I'm not kidding a 2 day straight freak out on one breathe without needing to breath, and I thought Pinkie can talk for a long time. She eventually calmed down a bit and asked the Princesses if they had a cure. To only find out that they won't have the material until next week in which Twilight than reacted with another major freak out. After that happened she got the idea of asking Zecora if she had the thing she needed and well she did. So now we go back to Twilight who is now walking in the Eeverfree Forest with the material in her bags and for the first time in days in a good mood. 'Finally things are going my way for a change.' Twilight happily thought 'Now all I have to do is make the cure and I'll finally be able to use magic again! I swear if I had to go one more day with out using magic I would have gone crazy! Ah but soon I'll have it back and then-' A horrible smell came into her nostrils disrupting her train of thought. 'By Celestia what is that smell?' She thought as she covered her noise 'Wait a minute, it smells like-'She turned to see six green eyes starring right at her. "Timber Wolves!" She screamed as she ran in the other direction with the two Timber Wolves right on her tail. 'Was there three of them?' She thought as she ran 'Were is the other one?' Just than the third lugged out at her from the side and attempted to clapped it's jaws on her wing but it narrowly missed only getting a few feathers. "SOMEPONY HELP!!!" She screamed as she continued to run, eventually she made it to a clearing still with the three Timber Wolves chasing her. At the edge of the clearing was a dead end, with a rock wall against here back there was no where to go. 'I can't use magic and I can't fly fast enough to get out of here and there is a rock wall against my back. I'm doomed.' The Timber Wolves surround her one off them pounced. Twilight closed her eyes awaiting the end but it never came. She hear something crashing to her left and opened her eyes to see the Timber Wolve that was just about to pounce her was now one the ground and in front of her was a black stallion. He had a black coat, mane, and tail with blue highlights on both the mane and tail. His wings was also black with what looked like three claws at the front of them. And finally his cutiemark was a sword with a pink mist surrounding it. He was also about the same size as her brother. "You all right?" He asked turning his head to her. His eyes was purple and was those sharp teeth? All she could do was nod. He than turned back to the Timber Wolves. "I don't know what you are but if you want a fight, bring it!"
Just updated already! The author was currently on his bed playing monster hunter 4 on his new account. He has just faced the Gore Magala on the Boat and was now at Cheeko Sands. Deciding that he had enough of monster for now he saved the game before turning off his 3DS. After setting it up to charge he grabbed his tablet and went on fimfiction to see if there was any new chapters up. There wasn't any so he went to the main page of the sit to see the new story along with the latest updates but something caught his eye. In the latest updates there was a story called My Little Monster Hunter, the story he was writing. He had updated since July and now there it was saying a new chapter was added. Was he hacked? Was it a glitch? He than tap on the story bringing it on his tablet screen. It seemed normal but there was a chapter that he didn't make, it was called "Just update already!" with a total of 717 words in the chapter. Not only that but Pinkie was on the character list on the bottom between Twilight and the OC tag. 'What the heck is going on?' Thought the Author, 'I know I didn't do this but than how did? It couldn't be my brother he's too lazy to write this, not to mention he doesn't know my password. I still need to make him a account on here. A hacker? This seems like too much work just to do this. SuperKamek? Wait, how would that even work? He didn't even update Monster Hunter MLP: Frontier since June so why would he make a chapter in my story?' Deciding to ask questions later he tap the new chapter to see what it was about. A bright light appeared on his tablet making the author cover his eyes. After the light faded he opened his eyes to only to see Pinkie Pie sitting on his bed right next to his tablet. "Hi!" The author was extremelysurprised and fell off his bed, unfortunately for him he was on the top bunk. He landed on the floor with a thud. "Ow..." He said in pain. "You ok Joseph?"asked Pinkie with worry in her voice. "I'm ok just do scare me like that." He said getting up. Pinkie jumped off the bed with his tablet in her mane. "Sorry about that." She said handing- hoofing- maneing - giving his tablet to him. When he got it he put it on his dresser. "So Pinkie what can I do for you?" asked Joseph. "Well" She started, "I want you to make a new chapter in MLMH." "What?" "My Little Monster Hunter" "Oh, well than consider it done." "Really!?!" Pinkie asked excitedly. "Yea. I haven't made a chapter for too long now and I think it's about time." Joseph said. "Yay! Bring the chapter!" She said excitedly as she bounced in the air. "Not yet" Pinkie stop bouncing and hovered in the air. It's Pinkie Pie don't question it. "Joseph, we both now how that's going to go." She said with a glare. "How about this, if I don't make a new chapter every 2 weeks you come and remind me and when you do it should be up 3 days after. Unless I have a good excuse anyway. Does that sound far?" Pinkie thought about for a few moments. "Do you Pinkie Promise?" "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Said Joseph doing the motions as he said it. "Oki Doki Loki!" Said Pinkie, "Now what?" "No one is home and I am in the mood for some cupcakes, do you want to help bake?" Asked Joseph. He just notice that Pinkie wasn't in the room anymore. Walking out he went to the kitchen to see Pinkie already had everything out. "I'll take that as a yes."
Timber Fight The Gore Magala was currently standing between a purple kirin and three wooden foxes, yeah that's a thing. This is one weird fanfic but it can't get weirder, right? I have a bad feeling about this. Some time before that. The Gore was currently looking over the purple kirin and the three wooden foxes surrounding it. 'Well it's not human so that's a plus. It's a kirin but why does it look so weird? I hate going into fights without knowing the opponent but if I want answers this purple kirin is my best bet.' The Gore began flapping his wings to get up into the air. The fox than pounced on the kirin but the Gore seeing this charged hitting the fox in midair. The wooden fox was now on the ground but getting back up. 'Either my power is weaker or they can take a hit.' He looked over his shoulder to look at the purple kirin who looked confused and shocked. "You all right?" He asked. The kirin some how looked even more shocked with wid eyes. 'Can eyes even get that big?' Thought the Gore. She nodded and with that he turned his attention back to the foxes. "I don't know what you are but if you want a fight, bring it!" The wolves howled at the challenge and the Gore roared back. The closest fox rushed toward the Gore but the Gore easily dodge and smashed it with it's wingarms causing it to fly back into the other wooden foxes shattering both to pieces. The last one was able to get close to the Gore and bit his wingarm with all its might. The Gore didn't even flinch. He raised his wing in the air with the fox still on it. The Gore grabbed the fox by the throat and pried the fox off. This was immediately followed by the Gore throwing it at a tree. When it impacted the tree it was also shattered to pieces. "That was surprisingly easy." said the Gore. "I was expecting a little more." The Gore than began to walk to the purple kirin who was both in shock and awe. Her mouth was wide opened and if it was possible her eyes were now bigger. 'How big can it's eyes get?' "You ok?" asked the Gore. The kirin shook it's head and replied. "I'm ok, but who are you?" She asked. "I'm the Gore Magala, or at least was anyway. And who are you kirin?" "I'm Twilight Sparkle. Wait a minute, why did you call me a kirin and what do you mean you were the Gore Magala?" She asked. 'What is with this place and names?' Thought the Gore. "I was sleeping at Primal Forest and through a pain process was was teleported here as this." He said pointing at him self. "But if you're not a kirin than what are you?" "I'm a pony and you are too. I'm an alicorn so I can use magic, fly, and control the weather. You are a pegasus so you can fly and control the weather." "Interesting, is there any-" Whatever he was going to say next was stopped when he heard a growl. Looking behind him he saw the pieces of the wooden foxes coming together to form one big one. "These wooden foxes don't give it up." The Gore said getting into a battle stance. "There called timber wolves, and we need to get out of here!" She started to run with the Gore following from behind but the giant timber wolf block the path. The Gore seeing this took to the air with speed that make Rainbow Dash jealous and tackled the giant timber wolf. It was pushed back giving Twilight a way to escape but the wolf wasn't done yet. It try to take a bit out of Twilight but it was hit by something. The place that was hit currently had a black cloud surrounding it. It looked up to see the Gore Magala in the air. It fire the blackball much like a dragon hit the timber wolf straight on the snout creating a black mist. This enraged the wolf, it took a deep breath breathing in the black mist and roared. Twilight was amazed by this, just what is this Gore Magala? "Come on we have to get out of here!" The Gore heard this and landed right next to her. "This way!" She said as she ran with the Gore following close behind. The timber wolf seeing it's pray get away sprinted after them but suddenly got tried. It tried with all it's might to get them but the world started to go black as it fell. The Gore saw this and smirked, he knew what that means. 'So my frenzy virus still works and I have a timber wolf under my control, interesting.' The timber wolf woke up feeling more powerful and violent, it was about to go after it's pray but a voice rang out it's head. 'No' said the voice. 'Stay in the woods until I call upon you.' The wolf complied and went another direction away from them. 'So now I have a creature under my control lets see what else this place has to offer.' The Gore thought as he continued to run with Twilight to... where are they going?
Enter the Pinkie The Gore and Twilight continued to run until they were out of the forest. Once they were out they took a minute to catch there breathe. After sometime Twilight broke the silence. "I didn't really get an answer (huff) who and what are you?" Twilight said still out of breath. "He's a pony version of the Gore Magala!" Both Twilight and the Gore jumped in surprise by this new voice. They looked to where the voice came from only to find a certain pink pony holding a small plate vanilla cupcakes with white frosting. "Pinkie where did you come from and where did you get those cupcakes?" Asked Twilight in a surprise and angry voice. The Gore however was thinking about names and how stupid these are. "Well when a mommy and daddy love each other very much-" "No not that!" Twilight said quickly with a slight blush. "I'm mean where did you just come from?" "Oh! Well I just got back from the author house, it was fun! We made cupcakes and played some monster hunter! His name is Joseph and-" "Does she all go into a rant? Seriously she's still going on one breath of air, how?" The Gore whispered to Twilight. "It's pinkie don't question it. And trust me I try to once, it didn't end well". Twilight whispered back. Pinkie was continuing to talk on that one breath. "-He went with a insect glaive and asked me what I was going to use. After some time thinking I went with the-" "Sorry to interrupt you ms... who are you again?" "I'm Pinkie Pie, Ponyville's best party planner!" She said excitedly. "Ok than." Said the Gore slightly confused. "Well since I didn't get to properly introduce myself I at least was the Gore Magala, controller of the Frenzy Virus. Pleasure to meet both of you." At the end he put his wing in front of himself and did a little bow. "So is your name Gore Magala or is it something else?" Asked Twilight. "It's actually my spices name but as far as I am aware I the last of my kind so I just went with it, I never actually had a name of my own." This got the interest of Twilight, what does he mean by last of his kind? "Well you do now Dark Virus!" Pinkie said "This is going to be so much fun! I'll throw you a party and-" "Sorry to interrupt you Ms Pie but what did you just call me?" "Well you said you didn't have a name so I'll just call you Dark Virus or Virus for short." "How did you come up with that name?" Asked Twilight. "Well for one your coat is dark and you said you control a frenzy virus thing so Dark Virus!" Pinkie explained. The Gore thought about this for a moment than said "Sure I'll just go by that. Though I does sound stupid." He muttered the last part. "I can see where you got the idea from." "That and I did look at the author's notes on the characters." - ... How much did you see? "Some info about Virus, two other characters that will be in the story later, part of Dark Thunder's backstory, and some information about Queen of the Hunt." So basically all of it then, just don't spoil it ok? "Not a even a little?" Not at all, especially with Queen of the Hunt. Do you understand Pinkie? "Oki, doki, Loki." Now with that out of the way lets get back to the story. - "What do you mean by look at the author's notes?" Asked Dark Virus. "It's Pinkie don't question it." Twilight simple said. "I'll try. Well how about we get out of here and go to your place, I would prefer not runs into any more wildlife." "Virus is right, we should get going. I'll see you tomorrow at the wedding Pinkie." "Wait! Your welcome to Ponyville party is going to be the day after tomorrow, alright?" "I thought you would have made it today but still if he does know anything that probably won't be good. Is that the reason?" Asked Twilight. "That and the author is too lazy to make one." I won't deny that. "Ok then, I bid you adieu." And with that the party left. Twilight and Dark Virus went to her house and talk about the species, history, laws, and all that fun stuff about equestria. "So you're not going to show them that?" Slice of Life The Gore Magala woke up from his slumber surrounded by books from his lecture from Twilight last night. They went over everything from the three types of ponies, the currency, and some of the history. After Twilight retired for the night for some wedding which was today he study until he fell asleep in this mountain of books. The Gore was a bit groggy but was able to get up which was unlike him. He normally got up with ease and was always on high alert. 'Must be the new body.' Thought the Gore. It took him about twenty minutes until he was done. After that he got out of the guest bedroom and headed to the kitchen for something to eat. Entertaining the kitchen Virus was about to grab something to eat but then a thought came to mind, what could he eat? 'What can I eat? I doubt she would have any meat and I'm not sure if I can even eat meat or hay in that matter. She did say that dragons can eat gems and I technically was a dragon but I have a feeling that it won't turn out well.' Looking around for something he found some apples. 'That would due.' Reaching to grap one with his wingarm he grabbed it and took a bit. 'This is do delicious! I need to know where she got this.' Thought Virus getting another one. "Who are you?" Asked someone. Looking to where the voice came from he found what looked like a dragon with purple scales and green spikes, nothing he recognized though he did remember that Twilight did mention him. "I'm Dark Virus and I'll take it you Spike?" "I am. I'll take it you're the one Twilight was talking about?" "I am." "She said you were a dragon." "Dragon is the closest thing that I can compare myself to and was until this happened." He said pointing at himself. "Oh, well I'm going to the wedding so I'll need that." He said as he walked over and picked up a big wrapped box that Virus some how haven't seen. 'How did I miss that?' Thought Virus. "Need help with that?" "Yea." He grabbed the box with his wingarm and put it on his back. Both him and Spike walked out the door and headed to the town hall. During the walk Spike tried to break the silence. "So... how do you like it here?" Asked Spike. "Well I can't really say since I only been here for a day and even then I was at a forest fight a timber wolf or at a library learning about Equestria but so far so good." Spike was about to ask another question but it was I by a roar. "What was that?" Ask Virus. "Probably another monster attack. No big deal." Spike said with out a care which surprises Virus. "Why do you sound so uninterested?" "It happens every other week for over a year. Me and everypony else are used to it." "Uh... Well then..." He was taken off guard by that answer. "Can you carry this the rest of the way? I'm just going to check to see if they need help." With that he handed Spike the box and flew away. The main six were currently fighting the bugbear and talking about stuff. Mainly about Dark Virus. "So where is he now?" Asked AppleJack as she lassoed the beast. "Last I checked he was asleep surrounded by books. I guess he was more after I called it a night." Said Twilight while she fired a blast of magic at the bugbear. "Looks like you found another egghead Twilight. If I didn't know better I would guess he was your coltfriend." Teased Rainbow Dash making Twilight blush. "Rainbow Dash! It's not lady like to say such things about a pony you haven't met and that she just met the other day." Scoff Rarity. "Would like to meet him soon though. By the Pinkie described him he does sound like a gentlecolt." "He was nice and tomorrow there will be a party and it's going to be so much fun!" Pinkie exclaimed. Oh by the way Pinkie DT said hi. - "Why would Diamond Tiara say hi?" The other DT. "(Gasp) Dark Thunder!?! That story is finally up! That great, I am going to go over after this!" For now just concentrate on this. And please don't go there. "Why?" He's currently pissed off at me. "What did you do?" I'll tell you after this. - "Twilight look out!" Screamed Flutter Shy, the bugbear was right on top of Twilight but before it could attack it was blasted on its side by what looked like a black fireball. Twilight knew what that meant, before the bugbear could react Dark Virus came flying in with speed that rivaled Rainbow Dash and tackled the monster causing it to crash into a cart. Virus landed on the ground next to Twilight. "You alright Twilight?" Asked Virus. "I'm ok. Thanks for the save, again." "Attack by monsters two days in a row, and I thought I had monster problems where I'm from." Twilight's friends were next to her to see if she was alright but then noticed she wasn't alone. "Hi Dark Virus!" Said Pinkie. "Greetings Miss Pie." "So this is your friend that you were talking about? Well darling he's-" before Rarity could finish her sentence the bugbear got back up looking very pissed. "Introductions for later for now we have to... what is it? It looks like a bug and a bear." "It's a bugbear." "I swear, what's with this place and names?" Extending his wings at the same time as Rainbow they both took off. In there charge Rainbow Dash found out something horrible, he was faster then her. She was going to do something but remembering the task at hand she regained focus. Virus made first impact on the bugbear chest with Rainbow not two seconds later on it's head causing it to fall back. Seeing this opportunity Virus fried a frenzy blast on its head doing damage and effecting it with the frenzy Virus to some extent. 'Need a plan.' Thought Virus. He dodged a punch and flew back firing a frenzy blast at the beast. Looking back he saw a incomplete building with support beams which gave him an idea. Firing another frenzy blast at the big bear to get its attention. "Over here ugly!" This enraged the bugbear and it charged. Leading the beast to the building he weaved between the support beams as the bugbear charged through them breaking as it went. Virus knowing this stop suddenly and charged behind hitting the bugbear. Recovering immediately him gallup until he was out of the now broken support beams. Taking in the size of the structure he got in position. 'Perfect.' He stood there waiting for the bugbear to get out. Twilight and her friends were coming up to him and the structure but Virus stopped them before they were too close. "You might want to stay behind me." He said. "Why exactly?" Asked Twilight summing up all theirs question. "You'll see in 3." The bugbear saw them as it was in the structure. "2." The bugbear charge at them gaining speed as it went. "1." The bugbear was not 3 feet away but before it could attack the structure fell on it trapping it underneath the debris. "And that would be 0." Virus said with a smirk. "Clever move Virus, but now how are we going to get it to leave?" Asked Twilight. "Leave that to me Twilight my dear." This causes Twilight blush a bit as her friends chuckled. "But didn't you mention that there was a wedding today?" This got a immediate reaction from everypony. "Oh, the dresses. Actually forget about them we're about to miss it! The is positively dreadful!" Exclaimed Rarity. "We have to go! Thanks for the help Virus!" Twilight said as she and her friends galloped to the wedding. After they were out of sight Virus looked around him and seeing no pony he went to the bugbear's head and exhaled his frenzy virus causing the beast to go frenzied. Getting up it stood in front of Virus. "You are to go into the Everfree Forest and wait for my command." The bugbear complied and made his way to the forest, meanwhile Dark Virus was smiling. 'Three Timberwolves and now a bugbear, at this rate I will have an army in quite some time.' Now he started to make his way to the wedding but something dawned on him. "Which way do I go exactly?"
Questions After I kid you not a half hour Virus finally found the place. The doors were open and all the current residents were exiting the building. He didn't see Twilight anywhere so he went next to the door waiting for her to get out. There were many ponies leaving with many colors and shapes but one caught his eye, it looked like a subspecies of a pony but was more insect like with holes in it's legs, bug wings, and a black carapace. Twilight didn't mention this subspecies of the ponies but for now question for later, after all she did help him all of last night with most of his question so it was time to return the favor. Twilight was the final one exiting with her friends and four others that he didn't recognize. A white unicorn that appeared to be the the same size as him accompany by a slightly larger pink unicorn the that also had wings. What's the word, alicorn was it? With this two there was another taller midnight blue alicorn with a mane and tail that looked like the night sky. 'She looks rather dashing.' Thought Virus. And finally there was the tallest one of all, a pure white alicorn with kinda a rainbow mane, not as much color as the other rainbow mane pony but meh. They all looked at me with the white unicorn saying "Is this the one you were talking talking about Twily?" A nickname, brother maybe? Or related to the tall white one? "Yes he is BBBBF." I said the first thing that came to mind after that. "A what?" "Best Brother ." Why didn't she just say that? Or a short version of that? "I see, well I think a proper introduction are in order." He put his wingarm in front of him and bowed. "My name is Dark Virus, controller of the frenzy virus and once Gore Magala." This got some curious looks from everypony with the exception of Twilight and Pinkie. The blue alicorn was the first to speak. "For once being a monster as Twilight describe you seem to be very well mattered." Virus chuckle at this. "I try to be the expectation. So if a may prominent who might you be?" "I am Luna princess of the night." Said the blue alicorn now known as Luna. 'That's a pretty name.' Thought Virus. She pointed to the tall white one and said, "This is Celestia my older sister and princess of the sun." And pointing at the last two she continued, " This is Cadence princess of love and her captain of the guards husband Shining Armor." "It's a pleasure to meet all of you." Said Virus. "Indeed it is." Said Celestia. "Let's take this somewhere more private and comfortable, we have some questions that we would like to ask you." "I thought as much. Lead the way." (One walk later) All the ponies were currently sitting around a large table in Twilight's castle and the questioning began with Virus saying the first words. "Before we begin I just want to say that I'll answer every question to the best of my abilities but I will ask some questions myself. Shall we begin?" As soon as he said that Rainbow asked immediately. "How are you faster than me?!?" "Rainbow Dash!" Twilight scolded but Virus gave a chuckle. "I'm not." "Uh?" "You see I have an immense take off speed from the ground to the air but other than that I'm not that fast. If it's from this side of the room to the other than I would win but if it's from one side of the town to the other or a greater distance I have no doubt that you'll win." This answer seemed to satisfy Rainbow Dash. Twilight than asked a question that was bugging here since he introduce himself. "You said you're the last of your kind, what does that mean?" This got everypony interest but Virus upon hearing this gave a sad sigh. "Not my favorite story to tell but this will help to explain a lot. I hope everyone is comfortable because it a long story. It began a long time ago when my kind the Gore Magalas were in our per say golden age. We dominated the planet thanks to one of our natural abilities, the frenzy virus. Before you ask it an effect of some of my attacks that when it's affected it'll make whatever is affected more aggressive, stronger and faster." "That seems like a tactical blunder to give your opponent a power up." Said Shining Armor. "It would be if there wasn't another ability of the virus, you see whatever is under the influence of the virus is also under the users control." "That does sound mighty powerful but what's that have to do with being the the last of your kind?" Asked Applejack. "If you came across such a creature what would you do? The humans where fearful of our power in which I don't blame them but what they did I find unacceptable, they started to hunt us. Normally this wouldn't be that big of a deal as humans do hunt monsters on a regular basis with various levels of success but with my kind they hunted us to extinction. The only trace that my kind even existed was ancient stories and me. I'm only Gore Magala that appeared after that event and that was from thousands of years ago." Pity rang out though all the ponies in the room for Virus after hearing this story. "I'm sorry to hear that Dark Virus." Said Luna. "One shouldn't go through that experience. You can stay at your castle as a guest if you want." "Temping but I would like to stay here if I may permit." "Sure you can stay here but any reason why?" Asked Twilight. "Well this is the he place that I did first appeared in and I would like to get a little more aquatinted to all of this before I go somewhere else. Any other questions?" "In your world where there any ponies? And if I'm correct you're a black dragon with four legs, two wingarms, and no eyes when you were a monster. Is that right?" Asked Celestia which surprised Virus. "That's dead on, how did you know what I looked like? All I said was a black dragon was the closest thing to describe me nothing else. As for the other question this is the first time I ever saw any ponies in my life." "Well there goes that theory. I've been in multiple other dimensions with Star Swirl and one of them was filled with monster with your kind being one of them but there was many ponies there and since you said that this is the first time you ever saw one then you aren't from there. Even if that was the case I would need help to go there." "Interesting, did this Star Swirl character mention anything about a event?" Ask Virus. "Now thinking about it he did, so that explains why you're here." "Not quite, you see when I got here I was greeted with a letter and a map with said letter saying follow the map along with the reward will be worth it." Everypony looked worried at this. "That does sound worrisome, if you get another message alert me immediately. But as for this event it will go on for I don't even know how long but we all should expect more on the way, understood?" All the ponies nodded and continued to ask questions without know there will be another arrival sooner than expected....
