At The Gala.
"Do you know where Twilight is Rarity?" Fluttershy asked her fashion friend.
Rarity turned around. "No sorry Fluttershy. Why?"
"Well...Discord told me not to tell anyone, but.." Fluttershy took out a familiar ball out of her bag. "I know that me, and Twilight both like Pokémon." Before opening it she looked around. "I'm going to ask her." She opens the ball.
Inside of the Pokéball was a little note that read I choose you!, and under it two diamond engagement rings, both set in 18 karat white gold.
"Your going to pop the question?! Inside a Pokéball!" Rarity said in excitement while Fluttershy placed the Pokéball back inside her bag.
"Yeah." Fluttershy said as Rarity gave her a huge hug. "And I want all of our friends, and possibly more to hear. Even her family."
"Fluttershy that is so adorable." Rarity said smiling.
"That is why I need to find her." Fluttershy said.
"Don't ask her yet. The Gala just started..." Rarity was cut off by someone.
"Fluttershy! Fluttershy!" It was Twilight.
"Hi Twilight." Fluttershy said.
"I will tell you when the time is right okay?" Rarity said as she nodded. Fluttershy walked to Twilight.
"I'm glad you came today." Twilight said giving her a hug.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Fluttershy said smiling, and Twilight released.
Just then Shining Armor approached the two.
"Hey you two." He said.
"Shining." Twilight hugged her brother.
"How's my Twily." Shining asked.
"I'm fine. Where is Cadence?" Twilight asks him.
"Over by Princess Luna." Shining said.
"Right I need to talk to her. Talk to you soon Fluttershy." Twilight said walking towards Cadence as Shining looked at Fluttershy, and smiled.
"So Fluttershy? Are you enjoying the Gala so far?" Shining asked Fluttershy.
"It's really pretty good. I haven't been to the Grand Galloping Gala for 5 years." Fluttershy said.
"Well... May I get you a drink." Shining said bowing as Fluttershy giggled.
"Alright." Fluttershy said as Rarity approached.
"Would you like me to hold your bag?" Rarity asks her shy friend.
"Please." Fluttershy said handing her the bag.
Fluttershy was lead to a table, and Shining gave her a drink.
"Thank you." Fluttershy said.
Fluttershy took a drink, and quickly spat it out.
"What is in this?" Fluttershy asked.
"I don't know they gave it to me, and said you would like it." Shining said pointing to two boys.
Fluttershy leaned over his shoulder, and spotted Hoops, and Dumb-belle.
"You bastards!" Fluttershy shouted running up to them.
"What I thought you like nuts." Dumb-belle said.
"Remember what happened at summer flight camp!" Fluttershy shouted as Rainbow flew over.
"No. Can you explain." Hoops said as Fluttershy clenched her fist.
"You gave me an Peanut milkshake, and I had an Insane Fit!" Fluttershy shouted as Hoops, and Dumb-belle laughed.
"An Insane Fit what's that?" Hoops asked.
"This!" Fluttershy shouted punching both boys. She was going for another punch when Rainbow got a hold of her arm, and Shining ran to her.
"Calm down!" Shining said taking Fluttershy away.
"Thank you Rainbow Dash." Fluttershy said as Shining took her to Cadence.
Fluttershy was looking back she could see Rainbow having a go at Hoops, and Dumb-belle.
"What happened Shining Armor?" Luna asked.
"Something to do with a peanut milkshake, and summer flight camp." Shining said as Twilight approached.
"Are you okay Fluttershy?" Twilight asked as Fluttershy whispered something.
"They don't know. Mind if I..." Twilight nodded. "I will act like I don't know that they was stood right there."
Fluttershy gave Twilight a long hug. She looked up, and gave Twilight a quick kiss.
"I punched Hoops, and Dumb-belle, and..." Fluttershy was interrupted.
"Did you just...Kiss Twilight?" Princess Luna asked.
"Yeah?" Fluttershy said. "Shit you don't know!"
"I thought I told you?" Twilight said as Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, and Shining Armor shook their heads.
Fluttershy spotted at the corner of her eye Rarity trying to get her attention. Stood by her was Octavia, and Princess Celestia.
"I need to talk to Rarity. I will be back soon so Twilight you explain." Fluttershy said running off.
"Ready?" Rarity said.
"Yeah I'm ready." Fluttershy said looking at Twilight as Octavia jumped onto the stage, and started to play a song.
"Right I will make sure that everyone is in here." Princess Celestia said going away.
"Ready Fluttershy?" Rarity asked giving Fluttershy her bag.
"Yeah."
Fluttershy went to Twilight, and got a hold of her hand, and brought her into the middle of the room. Discord appeared, and made the lights go down into a romantic setting.
"Woah." Twilight said as Fluttershy got a hold of her free hand.
"I've wanted to tell you this for a long time, but I was worried that we wasn't ready." Fluttershy said as Nightlight, Twilight Velvet, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Shining Armor, Princess Cadence, Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, and Spike with a bunch more gathered around them.
"Wasn't ready for what?" Twilight asked as Fluttershy pulled the Pokéball out of her bag, and hid it.
Rarity ran, and got the bag running back from where she just came from.
"This." Fluttershy said going onto one knee, and showing her the Pokéball. She opened it as Twilight had tears in her eyes.
"Will you marry me?" Everyone gasped
"Yes!" Twilight said with excitement, and gave Fluttershy a hug.
Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow, Pinkie, Spike, Shining Armor, Princess Cadence, Twilight Velvet, and Nightlight gathered around the two as everyone else clapped.
"Twilight? Your dating a Female?" Twilight Velvet asked her daughter.
"Fiancé now." Twilight said giving Fluttershy a kiss.
"I'm proud of you Twily." Shining said giving his sister a hug as Rainbow approached Fluttershy.
"Well done Fluttershy." Rainbow said giving her a hug as Pinkie ran over.
"Fluttershy!" Pinkie dived on her.
"Princess Twilight." Cadence said as Twilight blushed.
"You know you can call me Twilight, Cadence?" Twilight said.
"I know, but I'm proud in my sister-in-law." Cadence said giving her a hug.
"Um Twilight." Applejack said.
"Yeah Applejack." Twilight answered her friend.
"Fluttershy has gone bright blue." Applejack said pointing to her.
Twilight looked over, and Pinkie was hugging Fluttershy a little to tight.
"Pinkie! Don't kill her!" Twilight shouted as Pinkie let go.
"Sorry." Pinkie said as Fluttershy went up to Twilight.
"It's alright, and Twilight." Fluttershy said getting a hold of her hand, and putting the ring on.
"It's beautiful." Twilight said.
"I forgot to do that first." Fluttershy said smiling.
Twilight got hold of Fluttershy, and kissed her. The night felt like it lasted forever.

The day had finally arrived. Very shortly, Twilight would finally be married to the woman she loves. She examined herself in the mirror. She had her hair in locks. Surprising, seeing as how her nerves were shot. She wore a simple white dress made by Rarity. She looked at it in the mirror.
"I wish you were here uncle Greg." She heard a knock on the door. "Come in?"
"Hey, little sister." Shining Armor said, "I'm so proud of you Twily." He smiled, hugging sister. The sibling hug didn't last long as Luna came in. "Twilight? Cadence needs you at the alter." Twilight followed the princess of the night out the door and went to the alter of the church. She turned around and waited. Everyone was in place. The bridesmaids consisted of her, and Fluttershy's best friends, Pinkie and company. Her best man, was Fluttershy's brother Clever.
At long last, the wedding march began. The doors opened and there was her fiancé. Her dad, Galaxy was holding back tears in giving her daughter away. Her attention was focused on Fluttershy. She wore a veil over her face but Twilight could tell she was trying not to cry. Her dress was blue and the frilled trim was a different color, matching those in her hair, it was low cut but hugged her body perfectly. She wore the butterflies bracelet Twilight gave her on their first date and her bouquet was a beautiful mix of white and red roses. Once she got to the alter, Twilight lifted the veil over her perfectly braided and over the shoulder hair. She was in full makeup. Smoky eye-shadow, a light blush against her perfectly tanned skin and purple lipstick.
"You look beautiful." Twilight whispered.
"Twilight, Fluttershy, are you ready?" The love princess asked. The couple nodded.
"Mares and gentlecolts! We are gathered here today to join these two souls, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy Griffen, in holy matrimony. Before we continue, the couple has written their vows." Cadence began.
"Fluttershy, when we met, you were making sure the birds were singing on the right key for the summer sun celebration." Twilight began "I was so nervous to talk to you when I got to know you. And it cost me you as you began a new relationship. So I waited. Happy to be your shoulder to cry on if you need one. Then when I moved back to Ponyville from Canterlot, you were single and still as beautiful as I remember. So I brought my courage up and confessed my feelings for you. Best choice I ever made. Fluttershy, each day with you is amazing. And I wanna continue that journey for as long as we live." Twilight finished.
Fluttershy took a breath. "Twilight, after Sliver abandoned me... I was in a dark place for far too long then I wanted. The only reason I'm still alive is because of my Brother, Clever. I was dead inside, and alone for the longest time. Then you told me how you felt about me. I didn't want to, not at first... but I gave it a try. And I felt alive again. Extremely happy. That's how I feel when I'm with you, Twilight. And I never want to lose that feeling." Fluttershy stopped to compose herself, to stop herself from crying. " Every day with you is a adventure and I feel so happy. I want to feel this way forever." Fluttershy smiled.
"That was beautiful." Princess Cadence smiled, "May we have the rings?" She asked the ring bearer, Spike. Spike held the pillow up and Cadence gave each to the other. Twilight slipped the ring on Fluttershy's hand, and vice versa.
"Twilight Sparkle, do you promise to take Fluttershy as your lawfully wedded wife, in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" Cadence asked.
"I do."
"Fluttershy do you take Twilight as your lawfully wedded wife, in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
"I do."
"Then as the princess of love, I pronounce you as wife,.. and wife! You may kiss the bride.
Twilight pulled Fluttershy into a deep kiss as the floodgates holding her tears finally shattered.
