Ponyville, exactly 4 hours before breakfast...

***************************************

The sight of a small town is the only thing that immediately floods your mind. In exactly 3 hours from now, everypony in this small town will begin their day's of work, whether it be working alongside animals or baking delicious treats for its denizens.

Or... At least it would have been...

Everypony's attention is not on working or tending to their every day needs, and instead, their attention is placed on you, looks of horror, fright, pity and slight illness all come in your direction as they all focus on one pony in town.

You.

Normally, you would be concerned and slightly creeped out at the thought of everypony staring at you with some many repulsive looks. But then the pain in your back and the taste of blood in your mouth remind you why their looks are so concerning.

"Over here! I found him this morning like this!!" Said a mare with a sea foam green coat and matching mane, next to her is a concerned purple alicorn and a cream colored made with a blue and pink mane.

"We need to get him to the hospital, fast!" Said the purple mare, clearly scarred for you. At first you want to object, but your attempt only comes out as a groan of pain and an even larger, shooting pain in your back and wings, causing the taste of blood in your mouth to escape it and enter the world, gleaming down your mouth, warm for a little, but then quickly going cold.

A magical purple aura envelops you and places you onto the back of what you assume to be one of the other ponies. "Hang in there..." Says the purple unicorn and shouts to a 'Lyra' to go as fast as she can to the hospital. She takes off, fast, and continues to hold this pace for as long as possible.

You suddenly find yourself becoming increasingly tired. Maybe a nap would do you some good. After all, a good nice nap always was the doctor's first order...

"Come on... Stay with me buddy!" The pony said, her pace picking up even more speed. Your sight suddenly becomes eveloped in complete darkness, causing you to enter the state of unconsciousness as the rest of the world passes by you in an endless loop.

The door's slam open as Lyra enters Ponyville psychiatric, sweating and breathing heavily as she looks at the receptionist at the desk, a mare with a seafoam mane and purple coat. "Please... I... Need... Help...now!" The receptionist quickly sent a call for any and all doctors available as she took notice of the stallion on Lyra's back, a bloody mess with his wings broken in every direction possible and his back critically broken.

No sooner, a large group of doctors came to the front office and whisked him away to quickly attempt to heal the Stallion. Among one of the doctor's was Nurse Redheart, quickly taking the stallion into emergency surgery.

What struck the receptionist as odd... Was that Redheart was the first to respond...

She always was caring...

The slow beeping of the heart monitor continued to beep throughout the room, slowly waking you from your state of sleep as it continued to echo in the room and grinding its way into your mind. As you slowly regain consciousness in this room, you began to take notice of your surroundings.

For its simplicity, it certainly is an ugly room. A green colored roof, sea blue wallpaper with some wood paneling, and a simple checkered pattern floor that reminded you of sand paper, And next to you was a bedside table with a lamp and flower. This room seemed to bear no fruit in terms of entertainment, so clearly it was intended for either bed rest or something involving loss of brain cells.

Deciding it would just be better to get up and try to find somepony for help, you try to get out of bed, only for an acid like pain shooting through your back and wings, resulting in you letting off a gasp of pain.

What the hell...? Maybe if I try getting out leg first? You think to yourself, trying your best to get yourself out of bed through your legs.

Only to feel nothing but numbness as a response to your attempt.

How... How is this... H-Happening!? You think to yourself, panic beginning to set in as you find yourself completely immobile. How long is this gonna last? Am I gonna stay like this?! And most importantly... WHERE IN THE HELL AM I!!?

The beeping of the machine continues to beep faster and faster as you begin to realize your state, feeling completely helpless as your continues attempts at movement result in pain and acid flow through your back and into your wings.

Think! Think! THINK!!! What is the last thing you remember?

....

Nothing....

A single name pops into your mind that seems reasonable to believe is your own... But other than that, your mind can't remember a single thing....

No... No... No...

Your on the verge of tears as the heart monitor's annoying beeping becomes louder and faster with every passing second. How did this happen?! You think to yourself, What happened? Why is this happening? Why is this happening?! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME!!!!!?

The slamming of a door is heared through the loud beeping as the cause of such a loud noise runs over to the heart monitor and quickly turns it off, making her way to your IV bag and quickly inserting some type of liquid that makes sleep the more important. But you won't let sleep take you, not while there are so many unanswered questions. And the nurse knows this.

She quickly makes her way over to you and quickly envelops you in her warm embrace. Washing away any fear you had before and replacing it with just confusion. With the slightest bit affection. "Shhhhhhhhhhh..." She says as she slowly begins stroking your head with her soft hooves, "just let it all out..."

As if immeditatly on cue, the tears that had threatened your eyes before now easily release into the open, taking with them the fear and sadness you felt. The mare allows you to continue crying into her shoulder, continuing her relaxing strokes and occasionally saying, "there, there..." In a voice that can only be described as motherly. Throughout this time that you cry, you begin to feel comfortable in this mare's warm and affectionate grasp. True she may just be doing this to calm you down, but it still feels good to know that somepony is willing to comfort you in your time of need.

And as far as your memory suits you, she is an attractive mare.

Eventually your crying dies down and she takes your head away from her shoulder, looking at you with the warmest smile you have ever seen. "Better?" She asks, to which you respond with a simple nod, to which she responds with a slightly larger smile. " I know this scary for you... But you're safe here, nopony is going to hurt you... I promise." She hugs you again, making you blush slightly as you take in the scent of her vanilla coat.

Vanilla... What a wonderful scent...

"Where am I?" You ask, slightly afraid of what she may answer. "Ponyville psychiatric hospital. You were found right outside the town center with quite the amount of injuries. Fractured skull in your backside, broken back, internal bleeding, wings broken in seven different places, the list goes on and on. We had to use regeneration spell after regeneration spell
