Cyber's Point of View

Upon leaving The Bunker we not only felt sadness on account of our previous actions, but we also felt slightly relieved as Party Planner was now in a far better place...and had her sister with her once more. None the less, we all just remained silent as all of our minds more then likely wondered ways this could have been avoided. We all looked at eachother as we stood outside, once again above the surface. Never thought I would miss the taste of ever so slightly irradiated air and the unpleasantly cold feeling of the ash and snow mixture on the ground.

"So I guess we are heading to my place now?" Dawnstar said, his metallic voice returning as he put his helmet back on.

"We have nothing better to do." I responded. "Unless you two have any ideas."

Treble and Loose Screw looked me dead in the eyes, both with a 'Maybe we should just take a brake' look. Something I was completely on there side with.

"Well then...let's get going." Dawnstar said, leading the way.

"How long you think it will take to get there?" Treble asked.

"Hmm...mind if I see your pipbuck?" He asked.

"Um...sure." I said, lifting up my hoof as close to his eye level as I could.

He opened up the map and began scanning the area. "A full day if we don't stop. Two or Three if we do. Your pick." He said.

I looked at Treble and Loose Screw to get there input.

"Well, the sooner the better." Loose Screw said.

"That is true...but what if we have to?" Treble asked.

"Then I guess we only stop moving if we have to." I said. "You hear that Dawnstar?"

"Indeed I did. Let's get going then." He said.

Dawnstar then turned and began leading the way to his house, Loose Screw trotted up beside him. Treble and I followed not to far behind.

"So...what do you think his place is like?" Treble asked.

"In looks or safety?" I jokingly responded.

"Well...both I guess." She responded.

"In looks I have a feeling it's much like a walk in version of his armor." I said.

"What do you mean by that?" She questioned.

"Built from scraps but holds up when you need it most. That's what I think at least, could be wrong." I said.

"You know I can hear you guys, right?" Dawnstar yelled from in front of us...I could basically feel my ears slouch back in embarrassment.

"Sorry." Treble and I said.

"No need to apologize, your pretty much right anyway. The place is basically built from scraps, but it hasn't failed yet" He said, chuckling in the process.

"Is it big enough to hold all of us?" Treble asked.

"Trust me, the place is bigger then you think." He responded.

I guess that was good news...and I'd really take any good news without questioning as of right now. I can honestly say that we have all now officially seen some un-seeable shit. Now all we have to do is pray that nothing else happens in the time it will take us to get there.

15 hours later

We have been hoofing it for a whopping 15 hours now. All of our legs ached, we were out of breath, and drank the last of Dawnstar's water out of his tank. So far there hasn't been any trouble other then a few irradiated insects that could simply be killed with a solid swing of a hoof. Everything as of now was going well other then being hungry and exhausted.

"Were almost there...another two hours or so." Dawnstar spoke up.

"How...in the hell...are you still...going strong." I said to Dawnstar.

Dawnstar seemed to not be out of breath or tired in the slightest way...and he didn't even drink any of the water from his tank.

"Not sure, I just don't get easily tired." He responded, keeping his eyes forward.

"But it has been fifteen nonstop hours of constant walking, hell the sun just went down like an hour ago." I heard Loose Screw say from upfront.

"True, but like I said, I just don't get tired easily...not much more I can really say." He said.

"Shit bro...I just hope we get there soon." I said.

"Well...your in luck, my timing was a bit off. Place is right over this hill." He said as we peeked the large hill we where climbing.

We where greeted with not just a house, but instead a whole entire town surrounded by a large, scrap metal wall that was easily 30 feet tall. At the front was a large gate with two guards standing watch. There was another on a platform above the gate...also made of scrap metal.

"How in the name of Celestia is this place still standing?" Treble said.

"You'd be surprised how well some scraps and a few bolts can hold up if you have the right skill. We have some talented mechanics here at New Appleoosa." Dawnstar said as he started walking down the hill. "Come on guys, I'll be sure to give you the tour."

We began following Dawnstar to the entrance. It was at this point when I heard my pipbuck beep, so naturally I looked down at it.

NEW FILLYDELPHIA DISCOVERED

The custom marker Dawnstar originally set when we first met turned into a grey square with a picture of a house in it, under it was labeled New Fillydelphia.

"Hmm, nice to know." I said to myself as we approached the front gates, the two guards stepping forward.

One of them had a similar leather tunic like Treble's, just minus the duster, and was armed with a shotgun. The other just had small metal plating on his legs and chest, and a piece of rubber on his shoulders and back of his neck, he was armed with a type of pistol I have yet to see. It was silver and only had a cylinder on it that seemed to hold the bullets...not many of them though.

"Dawnstar! Nice to see your back home. I take it you know these ponies?" The one with the shotgun asked.

"Yea, they're with me. In the past few days we have been through some shit together, I can vouch for them." Dawnstar said.

"Very well then." The one known as Scattershot said as he turned and looked up at the guard at the top of the large, solid metal gate. "Open it Up!" He yelled.

The guard at the top of the gate nodded, then flipped a large lever. Upon that the horrendous noise of rusted metal rubbing against eachother began filling our ears...a noise Dawnstar seemed to be used to. The gate started opening, which just added to the horrifying noise invading our eardrums, then everything just stopped in the blink of an eye.

"Clear to enter!" The guard on the top yelled.

Dawnstar began walking in and looked back at us. "Well come on." He said.

We all nodded and walked in. The placed was definitely how it was briefly described. Much like Dawnstar's armor it was made of nothing but large quantities of scrap metal and held together in seemingly drastic ways. It had many small buildings scattered throughout...also made of scrap metal. There were three larger buildings that were aligned perfectly side by side with eachother and had wight writing on them. One was labeled 'Main hall', one labeled 'General Store and Doctor', and another oddly labeled 'Bar'.

"Is a bar really a necessity?" Treble asked.

"No, but it's a nice thing to have though." Dawnstar chuckled. "Follow me, I'll help you all get a room."

Dawnstar walked us up to the main hall...this time they managed to build a two story building out of nothing but scrap metal...impressive.

Inside the Main Hall was actually nicer then I expected. The first floor was fairly empty other then a few old and worn couches and chairs and a set of stairs that led up to the second floor. In the middle was a medium sized wooden desk with a female earth pony sitting at it with a clip board. Dawnstar walked us up to the female pony. She was an earth pony with a dark green coat with a messy, brown mane, crimson eyes...and a cutiemark of an hourglass filled with...blood?

"Dawnstar! Nice to see you! Did you bring some friends?" She yelled, she was definitely a happy kind of pony.

"Indeed I did." He responded to the female pony as she nearly jumped over the desk to hug Dawnstar.

"Guys, this is Hourglass. She runs the Main Hall hear at New Fillydelphia. She will assign you guys to rooms. And don't take her cutiemark to seriously.," He said. "Oh, and Hourglass, this one is staying in my room." He said gesturing to Loose Screw who released a mile wide smile and followed Dawnstar out the door.

"Well then, I'm Hourglass! What are your names?" She asked.

"Well, I'm Cyber." I said.

"And I'm Treble." She said, leaning in and hugging us both.

"So...I take it you two want a room together as well?" She asked, giggling under her breath.

"Umm, yes. Thank you." I responded, Treble lightly blushed and giggled.

"Very well then." She politely said as she trotted back behind her desk and pulled out a set of keys. "You'll be in house 32, it's right behind the general store across from Dawnstar' s place."

"Umm, thanks." I said, I was very confused on how you end up with a cutiemark like that and be this nice. I looked over at Treble, she just shrugged. "Well, I guess we will be going then."

"Alright then, see you soon!" She said as she waved to us as we walked out the door.

The sun was officially down now, but New Fillydelphia had a vast amount of large floodlights to keep the place nice and bright on the inside.

"Well...she was cheerful." Treble said.

"You found her cutiemark a bit...un-matching as well?" I asked.

"Yea...Dawnstar trust her though, plus she seems really nice, so she must be alright." Treble said as we turned the corner to head behind the general store.

"Yea, she must be alright." I said.

It was at this point when we heard a deep, calm voice off to our left. "It isn't smart to let your guard down though." It said.

Treble jumped and scooted behind me, I turned to the general direction of the voice and watched as a pony slowly walked out of the shadows of an alleyway in-between the buildings.

I could only see one bit of him not covered by armor, which was his completely head. Even then all of his head was completely black, mane and coat. His eyes were an exceptional dark brown color. He wore an odd set of armor that I had yet to see, it was very intricate and mechanical, yet seemed to fit snug and slim with the body. It was completely black as well, but you could tell the armor had seen a lot of action as a decent amount of the black paint was chipped off with a metallic silver showing underneath. One of the shoulder pads was busted off and fitted with some sort of animal skull...sickening. There was one thing that caught Treble and I highly off guard though, this pony...he had wings!
