Reaching her home, AK Yearling opened her saddle bag and pulled out the keys to her home, unlocking the door and entering it. To the rest of Equestria, she was known as AK Yearling, but in her stories, she was known by her real name... Daring Do, world class explorer.
Today was no different either. Get an artifact, stop Ahuizotl from getting said artifact, and write it all into a story in the end. However, she wasn't alone this time. This time, a colt with a black suit, knives, swords and a mask made his way into her battle, helped her defeat Ahuizotl, and then disappeared to celestial knows where.
Normally, Daring would've accepted this and moved on, but something was different with this Stallion. She just couldn't place her hoof on where or what was different about him.
"Oh well..." She said, placing down her saddle bags on a table and taking a seat on her couch, "he's just another stallion." One who pissed her off, at least. She told the Black Stallion time and time again that she worked alone and liked it that way, but he still came to her, time and time again, even Ahuizotlgoing so far as to save her life from another one of Ahuizotl's traps that would've resulted in her death. "Plot hole..."
Deciding her schedule for the next week, mainly consisting of her writing her latest book, she decided to get to bed and rest her still pounding mind. Flying upstairs and entering her bedroom, she removed her coat and hat and placed them on a coat rack near her door, and then removing her shirt, thick with grime, sweat, and dirt, before finally pulling up the covers and entering the warmth of the bed and blankets. Tomorrow was going to be a new day, and that Stallion she met today wasn't going to bother her thoughts anymore.
