Celestia's birthday present

rainy days
The day finally came. It was Princess Celestia's birthday and she was excited. But Luna
totally forgot about it. She was busy making friends.
It was midnight when Luna found Celestia in the castle courtyard.
"Oh, Luna, what a wonderful day it is, isn't it?" said Celestia.
"Oh. It is I made many friends and I also found out that the portal to the human world opened today. Maybe we can check it out." said Luna
"Ok," said Celestia surprised, "So, since its my birthday did you get me anything"
Luna paused, she didn't get anything for her sister, and she felt bad.
"Um, yep! I DID get you a present, I just need to go pick it up cause its, um, being polished, yes, polished." Luna chuckled.
. For Celestia, she didn't know that her sister didn't get her a present and her sister forgot that it was her birthday. As Luna left the courtyard, she started to think, which present should she give her sister. Maybe a new crown, Celestia always wears the same crown. Luna settled for the crown.
In Ponyville, Luna asked Rarity if she could make her a crown, but Rarity couldn't, she was already making a dress for Celestia, Luna didn't get mad, she understood that all the ponies here are all busy making or getting Princess Celestia a gift.
"Twilight Sparkle! I am in need of your help." said Luna.
. "Oh, princess Luna I didn't expect to see you here. What kind of help do you need?" Said Twilight confused.
" I had forgotten about my sisters birthday and I need to find a present for her."
" But Princess Luna, her birthday was yesterday."
" I know." said Luna sad.
" I'll still help you through it, but not all of it, we have a princess meeting remember?????"
Twilight had a great idea for a new present. An rare but not rare apple cider. The apple family only make it once a year. And it would be great to drink cider that only comes once a year.
They had finally made it to Sweet Apple Aces.
"Applejack! I need, I mean Princess Luna needs your help." said Twilight.
The two were talking and talking and TALKING. Luna started to get bored when she heard the two stop. Neither of them even went towards Luna. She was confused when she the "most handsome pony in all of Equestria". Even Applejack liked him. His name was Mighty P.P. B. ,but his real name was Beverly Pretty
Princess. He only added the mighty when he got his cutie mark of a bee and a flower. Luna was NOT impressed .
" Hello Princess." he said as he bowed down to her.
" Twilight, lets go!"
He looked sad. " bye" he whispered.
"but, the cider!" cried twilight
"just forget about it." Luna was angry. She hated him.
As always, Twilight made a list of what Luna should get for Celestia.
" First on the list, or we just go to pinkies house and make a cake?"
"ok"
So they went over to Pinkie Pie's house
" oh, hey Twilight" said pinkie
" hi, Pinkie I need you to make a cake for Princess Luna."
"ok. Hey, twilight I made a parody of Katy Perry's song California gurls (girls) its called Equestria Girls."
" who's Katy Perry?"
" I don't know"
" then why are talking about her and making a parody of her songs"
"just a hunch."
" can we just make the cake now?" said Princess Luna in a low voice.
"ok" said pinkie
Three hours later, they had finally finished the cake. It was beautiful. It was six layers toped with gems and rhinestones. That are eatable of course.
" ok, thanks Pinkie, now we just have to get this to princess Celestia." said Twilight
" your welcome, oh and DON'T Drop it!"
" like we will drop it, we have magic on our side pinkie"
" ok BYe, bye , bye BYE"
"bye pink- uh" twilight hit the door and drop the cake.and said
" oh I'm sorry princess."
" its ok. Now we have to find a new present."
Luna was sad and Twilight couldn't take it anymore.
" look, Luna, I am really sorry truly, and I know your just gonna say its ok."
"Phoenix"
Now Luna was happy.
"what?"
"I should get my sister a phoenix. Her other one had died. She was so sad. I should get her another one." Luna interrupted.
beep beep
" oh look at time, we have to go to the princess meeting, remember."
" I'm not going"
"why? "
" just tell my sister, that I started something, and I have to finish it. She will understand."
Twilight took off and Luna headed for the ever free forest.
" Fluttershy , do you know how to talk to phoenixes?" Luna asked as she saw Fluttershy outside of her cottage.
" Princess Luna, I'm sorry I don't. Phoenixes are rare to communicate with. Why, the only one I saw, was Princess Celestia's."
" oh ok, well thank you"
" your welcome, uh, Princess, just wondering with you do, but there are a bunch of phoenix nests, in the east part of the ever free forest."
"oh, ok"
And Luna headed back for the Everfree forest.
Celestia's birthday present
In the everfree forest Princess Luna found a nest up high in a tree. It was an phoenix nest. There were 3 eggs and the 2 parents. Luna had to find a way to get one of the eggs or at least one of the parents, but Luna didn't want to make the parents mad or sad, or even worse, not having a friendship with the most beautiful bird in all of Equestria.
Fluttershy
She could help, but she lives far away.So Luna had to do this herself.
" Hello, I am, um, no, um,ugh how do talk to phoenixes ? Wait, I remember." flying up towards the nest and tells the parents, " oh, now I forgot, ugh. I'll just take one of the eggs."
Luna touched of the eggs. Somehow she to get it without making the parents angry. But right when she touched the egg, the mother got angry. Luna flew, not noticing one of the eggs had gotten stuck in her tail.
Luna flew as fast as she could, but the mother was faster than Luna.
Luna stopped. She saw something. It was a BUNNY!!!!! Luna loved bunnies.
" BUNNY!!! Oo. I'm gonna name you Bunny." shouted Luna.
Bunny was not a normal bunny. He was one of the bunny that Discord transformed before he was reformed. So he was kinda a monster than a fluffy bunny. Luna didn't know until he roared and made Luna scared.
" oh no, no, no bad bunny. Bad!" and again Luna ran.
She ran and ran, until she came across a cave. She ran Inside. The phoenix left and also Bunny, Luna was all alone. She felt a a claws walking up her back. It was the baby phoenix.
" huh? Why, hello little one, you must've hung on me when I tried to get you, till you know. Your mom chased me." Luna told the bird.
Luna stayed in the cave for days. She didn't want to leave, she thought Bunny might come back. She knew the mother phoenix wouldn't come but she didn't know about Bunny.
" I've been here for days now. Well I guess I'll name you," she told the bird," I guess I'll name you Celestia, I'll be here for a while and I'll have you to remember me of my sister. Well, I'm gonna go pick some berries, I'm hungry and I'm pretty sure you are, too."
Celestia nodded. Both of them hadn't eaten since they came across the cave. Luna found a small berry bush, she picked some berries, then, as she was going back to the cave, she saw some fire wood. She can make a fire with it. She picked up the wood and left.
"Come on Celestia, we're going to make this cave look and, um, feel like home." said Luna as she entered the cave.
First Luna "painted" the walls of the cave with some poison berries, she accidentally picked. Sure Luna can use her magic to make the cave like home, but she didn't want to. While she was "painting", Luna saw a light outside the cave. It was night already, and Luna thought, the light came form her sister. She went outside to see what it was. But she didn't see anything. Luna flew up. She didn't see anything, it was pitch black. Luna went to the cave and continued to paint.
Morning came. Luna woke up. She had worked for most of the night. She was done with her new home. The walls were pink and blue, she made a bed out of wood and some magic, and she built a fire out of the fire wood. Luna thought, when she goes back to her castle, this cave can be a safe house, whenever there's danger she and the two Celestia's can come here. But there will need to be a door. Luna grabbed some wood and with her magic she made a wall and a door.
"well that wasn't hard." she said.
Luna heard a roar coming from outside. It was a lion. Luna went outside, she saw the lion laying down hurt. Luna decided to help the lion. Luna used her magic to carry the lion into the cave. She grabbed some leaves and she used some tree sap to hold the leaves.
A week has past and the lion had become friends with Luna. Luna named him Melvin after her manticore friend before she became nightmare moon. Luna was happy in her cave, she had become friends with a phoenix and a lion. Melvin was very shy, but he was still aggressive.
" So, is anyone hungry, I have berries and cupcakes." Luna asked.
Of course Melvin and Celestia didn't say anything. That night Luna was homesick, she missed her sister. Luna thought about the portal to the human world. Maybe they have fascinating things there and maybe Luna can get one for her sister. But Luna had to bring Melvin and Celestia, she couldn't leave them alone. But what if Melvin is still a lion in the human world? Luna had to take the chance, what if in the human world lions are different.
Luna told Melvin and Celestia everything. They had to get in the castle at midnight without being seen, then they would enter the portal, get whatever Luna wants to get and come back, and come back to the cave. It was the perfect plan. Since it was day, Luna had to prepare for something that she called Operation Perfect Birthday Gift. She packed some food and some bits, she didn't know if they took bits but she still was gonna bring them.
Night came, Luna and her friends were ready.
" ok remember the plan. " Luna told Melvin and Celestia.
Luna, Melvin, and Celestia were right outside of Celestia's and Luna's castle. Luna flew up to a window, since Celestia was still a baby and she didn't know how to fly yet, Luna used her magic to bring Melvin and Celestia up to the window. There was the portal. Luna pushed Melvin, Celestia, and herself through the portal.
"ahhh!" Luna screamed.
In front of CHS, Luna came. Surprisingly Melvin was a dog, and Celestia was still a bird. Luna put Celestia in her backpack, grabbed Melvin and left. She didn't go in the school, she went to the Carousel Boutique. In there was the perfect gift. A bracelet, but Luna didn't have any money so she had to go back to Equestria.
"back in the portal." said Luna.
