When the Elements of Harmony, valuable magical artifacts and Equestria's last line of defense, are stolen from the well-fortified Canterlot Castle the Mages of Harmony are called upon to get them back. However the culprit proves to be slippery and now they must follow him to a strange, yet familiar world.

Now they must team up with the inhabitants of this world in order to put a stop to his evil plans, all the while getting adjusted to their new bodies.
