i awoke to the sound of my beeping alarm clock and i looked over to notice that it was 7 am and that it was sword art onlines release date which meant some new players would be there other than the boring beta testers. i quickly placed the nerve gear on my head and put my sao game in. "link start" i stated as the screen flashed with many colours i mean seriously i could have a seisure if i was epileptic so yeh calm your tits kayaba. i then noticed the log out screen before me and i quickly entered my user name before i was thrust straight in and i was standing in a gorgeous well light town with the sun beaming down on me. i looked down and noticed i still had the same well built chracter model which i made to look almost the exact same as me. i had short red and black hair with my fringe hanging just above my sky blue eyes, i had a ripped muscle build due to my boxing experience and i stood at a good 6'6 in terms of height so i was quite scary looking you could say. i quickly went into a full on sprint before deciding to take on some simple mobs outside of town.
(a long long time of grinding later)
after about i dunno 5 hours of grinding i had finally reached level five and getting there was one hell of a pain in the ass. i slowly walked bac towards the town but when i was half way there i felt a weird sensation and i was teleported to the centre of town.
i lookd up and noticed a red cloaked figure who began to talk rather slowly.
"welcome to my world and if yoyu havent already noticed the log out button at the bottom of the main menu is gone and i say this is not a malfunction in the system it is in fact a feature of sao so yeh die in the game die in real life blah blah blah i dont like this boring speach stuff so bye" the figure stated before he dissapeared. i quickly checked my inventory and found an item called mirror which i equiped and i looked at it and i glowed a light shade of white. i looked in the mirror and noticed i looked the same is i did in the real world. i had my short red hair with my fringe hanging just above my eyes my normal ripped muscle town and i stood at a good 6'4.
i quickly decided to run and i burst into a full on sprint towards the next town with higher level monsters and soon i had arrived and was standing in the town centre.
6 monthes later
i was now sitting on the top row of a set of spiral steps more like seats but just steps according to me. a man with blue hair walked on to the stage in the middle and began to talk.
"today my party discovered the boss room at the top of the labrynth and now you must form parties of six and we will combat said boss" the man calling himself diabel stated i just looked around and noticed two people talking so i scooted over.
"hey do you mind if i join your party i mean i'm a solo player so i dont really have many freinds" i stated and he nodded before sending an invite which i gratefully accepted before walking to my room for the night.
the following day (top of labrynth)
i stood next to my party and i decided to walk towards the door and once i was infront of it i kicked it open and walked in with a devilish smile. one by one a set of torches lit up and revealed three sentinel type things and a tall dog like creature sitting on a dark throne before he jumped out and pulled out an axe and a buckler. the front players quickly charged the boss and initiated there attack i just simply took out one of the sentinels. soon after all of them were dead diabel was struck with a no dachi and kirito tried to heal him but diabel was already dead me and kirito then ran up and both got the final hit in at the same time. we looked at our screens and noticed two items 'coat of midnight' which was kiritos and mine 'cloak of dawn' we then turned and saw kibaou. "why why did you let diabel die no i know you must be a beta tester and so must hikaru the guy next to you" kirito tried to protect himself but i stood up and let out a devilish laugh. "beta tester huh dont you compare me to those noobs they didnt even know how to level up you guys are better than them but i am diffrent i made it the furthest out of everyone in the beta test and i fought countless bosses like this one with so many more combos so yeh" i stated as i began to walk away and towards the exit.
i quickly equiped my blood red cloak and continued to walk while letting off a evil grin.
"your not just a beta tester your a cheater a beater" kibaou replied i just let of a devilish grin and started to laugh.
"you know what i like that yes remember whoever wears this coat is a beater so stay away from me" i stated and i started to climb the stairs but turned to see kirito and asuna next to him. "you'll grow strong one day you know that anyway make sure you protect her and i guess this is goodbye" i said as i walked through the gate to the next floor.

chapter 2 the moonlit black cats
2 months later
i was sitting at a bar table across from a guild called the moonlit black cats and kirito had just joined them funny right joining such a weak guild well i guess he wasnt a beater but he was still a decnet level and everyone called him one. i slowly left the bar and fell asleep for the day at my apartment on floor 23. i awoke the next day and found out kuroko and his guild were trapped in the labrynth i ran by myself to a door that looked suspicious and i kicked it in before equiping my best gear and charging in there i noticed kiritos guild and him fighting off some high level enemies. i pulled out my sword and ran into the group of enemies hacking and slashing at them with my swrod i called it 'requim' cool huh. a few minuetes later and the enemies were dead everyone turned and saw me letting off a warm smile at kirito who returned the gesture. "hey kirito long time no see" i said as i walked towards him and his guild. "yeh its been a long time hikaru" kirito replied and i just let off a soft chuckle.
"well stay safe my friend" i replied as i equiped my red cloak and heard kiritos guild gasp.
"your the beater who's on the assault team" a purple armoured man asked as he walked up to me.
"yeh what of it" i replied with a smirk and i sent him a trade request. he accepted the request and the trade read 'player hikaru would like to give you 1,000,000 colo do you accept?' "huh are you sure" the purple armored man asked.
"yeh get some gear and i'll meet you in the assault team soon" i stated as i turned and left them in the labrynth.
i quickly ran towards the next tower and decided to try find the boss room. after a few hours of fighting i made it to the top and left quietly. i gave the details to the guild master and left to get some sleep. i awoke the next day and ran to the boss room only to find kirito there on the floor nearly dead with asuna nearly dead to along with kleins guild and the milatry guild. i ran i and blocked the bosses sword before he hit kirito and asuna. "get everyone out of here i got this" i shouted and asuna dragged kirito out as i began fighting the boss. the clangs of metal and cuting of flesh could be heard as i continued to battle the boss.
"i'm gonna have to use it arent i" i thought knowing i could'nt beat this boss without that skill.
"klein asuna kirito" give me ten seconds to get ready. i asked and kirito ran up alongside klein and asuna and they began to battle the boss. "i'm ready switch out" i shouted and they got out the way and another sword appeared on my back and my eyes gave off a sky blue glint as i move at god like speed and activated a sword skill and after 27 hits the boss shattered into particles and i stood before everyone with my swords placed on my back. "asuna can you take care of kirito he is destined for great things and i fear at the end of the game i wont be there to help with the boss" i stated as i walked passed her and handed her and kirito two wedding rings and they broke down then and there. "what do you mean wont be there" kirito asked sobbing quietly.
"because i fear i will die" i stated causing everyones eyes to widen and begin to flood with tears.
"you won't die right hikaru" klein asked and i gave him a unsure look which caused him to burst into tears.
"come on man we didnt even get to have a drink together" klein continued and i turned around and walked away from the now crying guilds.
1 year and 4 months later
i sat infront of the guild leader of the knights of the blood after defeating the skull reaper boss i stood much to his suprise because he used paralysis on everyone except kirito and he was about to kill kirito i came infront of him and blocked his blade.
i threw kirito back and the knights of the blood leader put paralysis on him and we began to fight.
the clanging of swords could be heard from across the room as klein and my other friends saw me and kayaba clash. smoke started to arise around us as we fought and a glint of blue appeared in my eyes as i began to move at god like speeds and kayabas health began to lower. i hit his shield with high force and broke my sword. i practically gave up and his sword passed through my chest and i fell to my knees his sword still impaling me. i turned to see klein and all of my other friends crying i let out a small sigh.
"i told you i wouldn't make it this time right" i stated giving off a warm smile before i disipated into shards but a pit of fire appeard below the shards and sucked them in and then a man who looked exactly like my character arose the only diffrence was a pair of demonice black wings and a pair of sharp fangs. "you think i'll die that easy huh well you fucked with the wrong prince of hell today" i shoted as i grabbed kayaba and began to tear his avatar to pieces before he disipated into shards and i got logged out and awoke in a hospital bed.
2 monthes later
i read about a accident in a game called alo which got sugou arested and i made my way to my new school which was formed for sao survivors. i walked to the gates and entered the school before finding out my class and walking in and imediatly i found myself tackled by a very familiar teen. "hey klein(yes he goes to the school in this deal with it)" i said as i was tackled to the floor.
"we all thought you were dead man you had us worried the whole prince of hell thing was cool though" klein stated and i looked behind him to notice asuna and kirito in tears with everyone staring at them. "klein can you get off i do have more friends than just you unless you swing in a way that involves men and thats why your hugging me" i said causing him to glare at me and i quickly stood up. "it's been a long time and is that liz i see and you too silica" i said and they stood and ran towards me.
i then found myself on the floor tackled by two girls and getting jealous stares. "hey girls how have you been" i asked and they stood before glaring at me. "we were just fine thinking you were dead and wouldnt care anyway" they said in unison and i picked up my bag before opening it and throwing everyone something. kirito was given his sao outfit asuna was given a bag of money klein was given a stack of porn mags silica was given a pina plushie and i walked toward liz and wrapped my arms around her in a hug before placing something around her neck. she looked down to notice a heart necklace with a 8 carrot diamond in it and she opened it revealing a picture of me and her in sao with my arm over her shoulder. i pulled out the same necklace and place it around my neck. "i got the same necklace so you know oh god this is gonna be embarassing" i said and everyone except lizbeth caught on and began to whisper among themselves. "what is it hikaru" lizbeth asked and i looked at her with a furious blush on my face. "if you wouldnt mind me asking but do you want to you know be my girlfriend" i mumbled the girlfriend part but she still heard and flushed a dark shade of red and she looked at me her jaw hanging open. "r-really" lizbeth asked and i looked at her trying to cover up my stupid blush. "y-yeh if you wouldn't mind that is" i stated and i then found a pair of lips on mine and my eyes widened in shock finding lisbeth there kissing me infront of the entire class. i broke the contact and began to chuckle nervously.
"i take that as a yes then" i asked and she looked at me with a 'are you serious' look so i just turned away hiding my blush.
"yeh it is hikaru san or should i say boyfriend" she said with a seductive chuckle and everyone in classes jaws dropped and i began to blush even more. "he he yeh i guess so then liz" i replied and i pulled out an outfit because there isnt a dress code and i walked to the bathroom before changing and walking in with mu sao avatars outfit on. "how do i look" i asked liz in particular and she ran up and tackled me in a hug. "you look great hikaru" liz replied and i let off a large smirk.

i lay in lizs embrace a bit before saying something. "hey liz they fixed alo so why dont we go on after school" i asked much to everyones suprise. "sure" liz replied. after school i ran home and placed the nervegear on my head before inserting alo and loging in. a message appeared asking me if i wanted to transfer my sao data and i gladly accepted and found myself falling from the sky before i did a combat roll and stood infront of kirito and the rest of my friends my race was sprigan except i had a blood red cloak like my old sao character and i kept my old gear which i used in sao and trashed the rest.
"hey whats up" i asked and began laughing at a semi jealous kirito. i equped my old sao gear before trashing what i was given at the start and finding a girl i didnt know. "hey whos she" i asked and kirito looked at me with a glare.
"my sister sugu so don't bother hitting on her" kirito replied as he glared at me i jsut raised my eyebrow.
"eh kirito i think you forgot i'm dating liz now" i said causing kirito to faceplam seriosly he forgot.
"oh yeh sorry it's just klein is already hitting on her" kirito stated and i walked over to klein and kicked him in the balls.
"why me" klein asked in pain and i put my boot on his back before pushing him down.
"don't hit on my best friends sister also my girlfriend and his did you think i wouldnt notice" i replied glaring down at him before removing my foot and letting him stand. "damn you kick hard man if this was real i wouldnt be having kids" klein stated and i let off a loud chuckle. "well i am a muai tai fighter" i replied and he looked at me with a 'why didnt you tell me beforehand' look.
"really well if you kicked my anywhere else something would break" klein stated and i looked at him.
"i'm suprised your dick isn't broken after that personally" i replied causing everyone to laugh.
"yo silica you should date klein this guys funny as hell" i stated causing silica and klein to blush.
"well eh actually we are" silica and klein said in unison and i bumped his fist.
"nice going dude took me a while to get her in sao but you work fast oh did she like the u know" i asked gesturing to sex and they both blushed. "what am i the only one here who isn't a virgin i mean god if so you guys need to get laid" i asked causing everyone to blush. "i'm not" kirito said abruptly and i walked over to him and bumped his fist.
"nice man being a virgin is boring as hell you miss out on the joys of life" i said causing kirito to blush.
2well i kinda did liz before you were dating" he replied my face turned to a glare and i grabbed his color and began viciously beating my fist to his face i logged into kayabas acount and set his pain absorber to zero and continued to beat him and her screamed in pain. my back began to buble and my eyes turned a demonic black and the black demon wings burst from my back and my fangs grew out. i continued beating him until he only had half health and was practically beging me for mercy.
"i'll kill you i'll kill you die you bastard die" i shouted as i continued beating him blood now began to pour from his right eye and i broke a few of his teeth. klein tried to psuh me off but i kicked him with so much force i sent him into a tree and continued giving kirito the beating he deserved. kiritos health was in the red and i'm pretty sure anyone could hear his loud screams and beging sobs. "you desrve this you bastard i kept my feelings from liz in sao since i met her and now you gone and taken away all the trust i had for you and even her" i stated as i grabbed his arm and then there was a loud crack followed by a ear renching scream.
"die die die" i repeated and now he only had 100 hp. i released him and reset his pain absorber before i turned and walked away from the group but not without saying a final goodbye to liz. "hey liz guess what" i asked.
"w-what" liz asked between sobs hah guess she liked kirito more than me.
"your dumoped and i'm transfering schools to an american boarding school so guess i won't be seeing you guys again" i stated everyones eyes widened as i said this and liz fell to her knees in tears. "some final goodbye this was found out my best friend fucked my girlfriend but also it was pretty good coz now i can give him a private message" i stated he then looked at me.
"i fucked your girlfriend and your sister" i said and his eyes turned to a glare and he charged me but i ran my sword through his chest. "only kidding i didn't do them though they asked me to" i said with a devious smile and i pulled the sword from his chest.
"hikaru you don't understand this was during sao that was 1 and a half years ago please you have to forgive me man" kirito said as he was on his knees in tears beging for forgiveness. "fine i forgive you and that means your still a virgin technically aswell as liz so yeh i guess me and her are gonna have some fun soon" i stated causing her to glare at me.
"you dumped me remember so don't bother" liz stated and i turned to look at her before saying something she never fought i would say. "yeh so what it isnt like a monster can love a human anyway" i replied and a fire circle arised next me and satan and his wife rose up. "son we have to return home soon you can't reside in the human world any longer i'm sorry but your going to have to kill yourself or you'll be trapped there for the next 30 days" my dad said causing everyone to look shocked.
"yeh i know i know i'll be home tomorrow okay just give me time to kill myself" i asked and he and my mom nodded and i turned to see my friends crying. "heh did you think a demon could live in your world you must be idiots" i stated causing them to look at me with teary eyes. "w-why do you have to leave you can just stay" liz asked and i looked at her.
"sorry liz but i guess this is goodbye for now" i replied before logging off. i awoke and took the nerve gear off before picking up my gun and puting it to my head. i cocked the gun and heard heard the chamber activate. i heard something smashing against my door and it was broken down and liz ran in and knocked the gun out my hands but i ran up a flight of stairs leading to the roof and stood on a ledge 10 stories off the ground. liz and my friends stood before me with looks of fear with what i might do.
"hikaru please dont jump please" liz beged and i gave her one last message.
"i love you liz remember that and i always will and dont worry this isnt goodbye forever i'll be back to see you again just don't forget about me" i asked before turning and taking a step forward but i found a hand on my arm and saw klein there in tears.
"we still didn't get that drink you know that right" klein stated and a few tears trickled down my face.
"father get out here" i shouted and satan walked out of the shadows and looked at me with rage.
"son you must go now or you can never return home" he replied and i looked into his eyes and said the unexpected.
"father make me a human i will stay in this world for as long as i need to and you will say nothing of it" i said and my dad nodded before i was incased in light and fell to mhy knees as a really buff seventeen year old boy.
"how do i look according to you guys" i asked and they all looked at me.
"it looks like you could take on an army" kirito rpleid and i walked over to him and kicked him in the balls.
"don't think i've forgiven you yet kirito" istated as i walked into my house and fell asleep.
the next day
i awoke to the sound of my alar mclock and i quickly got ready before running to school. i ran through the school gates and kept running until i found the club sign up sheets and one of them caught my eye it was the basketball club.
"hey i want to join the basketball team" i stated and the manager looked at me and her eyes widened. i stood a good 2 metres tall so i can see why she looked at me that way. "just sign here" she said handing me a form which i signed before walking off and heading to class. i walked into class and sat in my seat next to the window in the corner of the room.
"hey i heard you joined the basketball team" a tall red haired guy said and i looked at him.
"yeh what of it you here to beat me or something" i asked raising my brow and he grabbed my color and brought me to my feet until he saw how tall i was compared to him. "you don't look like you can even play well"he stated as he threw a punch which i dodged before tripping him and sending him into the desk behind me. i slowly walked to liz and the rest of my freinds and bumped fists with kirito. "for sao survivors they have no respect for beaters" i stated and the red heads eyes widened.
"y-your the assault teams beater who defeated kayaba akihiko" he stated and i nodded before walking to the basketball gym.
i walked inside and looked at the scrimage that was going on and i walked on court.
"hey i'm the new guy so i was gonna ask if i could show my skills" i asked and i got a nod from the manager before changing into a basketball uniform and begining to play though i didn't notice my friends were watching me play. i had the ball and i ran down before doing a crossover and spining around the oponent and doing a one handed dunk. the scrimage ended and my team won so i was quite happy. "that was really damn fun" i said with a small heart felt laugh.
