//-------------------------------------------------------// Spider-Man: Problems in Ponyville -by BeeBeeBop- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Not A Good Start //-------------------------------------------------------// Not A Good Start "Woooo hooooo! Yeah!" "Finally! A break!" I say. Slinging from my webs, I gaze around the beautiful city of Manehattan from the sky. "Well, what should I do?" I ask to myself. Oh, who am I kidding, I'll be stuck here fighting crime for spring break. I continue swing through the city, looking for crime for me stop. I land on a building rooftop and wonder what to do. The people come first, not me. Because with great power comes great... I start to hear the familiar sound of police sirens. I sigh and start to form a small smile underneath my mask. "Well, here we go again." I say. Let's do this! Swinging through the sky, I follow the sounds of the sirens and wonder who I'm fighting this time. Sandman? Rhino? Electro? Green Goblin!?! Oh wow, I haven't seen him for a while. The Goblin laughs one of his creepy, crazy, sinister laughs. He tosses pumpkin bombs down to the streets below. "Why bother you stupid cops? You know you can't beat me." "Yeah, but I can." "Huh? What the h-" Goblin starts before I kick him off his glider with my legs first. I watch him fall down below into my web. The officers get to him, but he recovers quickly. He starts giving out punches to the officers that are near him. Swinging down below to the Green Goblin, I reach him and punch him into a building's wall. "That was easy." I comment. I quickly try to web him to the wall with, well, my webs but the Goblin is gone. Where the heck did he go? My question is answered when I feel something tugging on my back and realize I'm being pulled from the ground, and into the air. Greeny's glider gains speed quickly and it starts zooming past buildings. The Green Goblin laughs maniacally, like he usually does, and zooms past buildings on his glider. "Hey! You can slow down, you know!" I shout to Green Goblin over the roar of the wind. "Oh, but I have no intention of doing that yet, Spider-Man. Heh heh heh..." the Green Goblin replies. Holding on to one of my hind legs, he drags me across the walls of passing hotels, business buildings, and stores like a ragdoll. He's obviously having the time of his life, beating me up and stuff. Me, on the other hand, am not doing so good. I'm covered in bruises and my costume has a bunch of cuts and holes in it. I've gotta do something! And fast! "Hey Gobby!" I manage. "What?" he says, turning his head towards me. "You're gonna crash, buddy." I say. "Idiot, I'm not that stupi-" he starts but, well, crashes into a building. His glider is damaged and it keeps making us go in circles and turn in different directions. He lets go of me, and I start to go down, and down, and down, and down, and down, and...down. Ha! You probably thought I was gonna leave you hanging there, didn't you? Well, I'm not. That would suck. Reacting quickly, I shoot a web at the nearest building. My web line connects to a, you know, a building. I swing over to the building and land on it's side. I scale the wall quickly scanning the sky for the Green Goblin, but find nothing. I shoot another web line to a hotel and swing. I swing around the nearby area and find nothing. The Green Idiot must have left. Well, I guess he wasn't that much of an idiot since he left, knowing what's good for him. Well, back to what I was doing before fighting the Goblin. Oh yeah! I was thinking about how I'm gonna be stuck here for a week, meaning it shouldn't even be called spring break! Jeez, this sucks. But... Hmm....What do we have here? I guess my day's not done yet. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ponyville. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ponyville. I finish bucking the apples from the last tree. I wipe some sweat off of my forehead with my foreleg. "Phew. Finally! We've finished applebuckin'." I say. "Eeyup." Big Machintosh replies. "Phew. Now let's get these apples back over to-" I start before being interrupted by a thwip. Huh? "Hey Big Mac, did you hear that?" I ask. "Nope." he replies. "Hmm...weird..." I mutter. "Oh whatever, let's just-" Another thwip. Weird, expect this time it's closer. Then I hear the sound of tree branches breaking not far. "Hey!" I say. I see a red blur from where I heard the branches breaking. I rush over to it, hoping to see what it is. But when I get there, There's only leaves and a few broken tree branches. "Hmm, somethin' weird is going on here." I say. Big Mac nods in agreement. I guess we'll find out later. Anyways we really should store these apples away." "Okay AJ," Big Macintosh replies. "Oh, and uh get something to eat?" I add. Big Mac points to the baskets of apples. "Oh yeah. Heh heh..." Once me and Big Mac put the apples away, I decide to go visit Fluttershy. I had meant to visit her earlier, but was too busy. I guess now's the time to do that. I hum to myself as I make my way over to Fluttershy's cottage. Once I arrive at her cottage, I knock on her door, yet get no answer. I knock on the door again. Still no answer. "Uhh, Fluttershy? You in there?" I ask, starting to become a bit nervous. "Up here, Applejack." I hear a voice from above me say. Looking up I see a familiar, yellow pegasus in a tree. "Fluttershy? What the hay are you doing up there?" I ask. "Oh, uh, you know. Hiding from the, well, um....monster..." Fluttershy quietly replied. "The monster? What in tarnation are you talking about?" I asked. The shy pony flew down from the tree. "Well, um, it was red...and blue...and was fast. It j-just...well, zoomed." Flutter said in her quiet voice. "Zoomed?" "Yeah zoomed." "Well, uh, okay. What else did this monster look like?" I ask. "Oh i-it had, um, white eyes and and...and...that's it." Fluttershy replied quietly. "It was scary. I was just minding my own business, feeding the animals, and then all of a sudden. Zoom! It came rushing by, and I got scared and flew up that tree." "Oh, well the 'monster' is gone now." I reply. I look around and find nothing unusual. I knew something weird was going on here. "Hey Fluttershy? You wanna come with me to get something to eat?" I ask. "Um, well I don't know. T-Th-The monster-" the shy pony started. "Isn't here, Flutter. It probably went somewhere else." I say, trying to calm my sensitive friend down. "But seriously, you wanna get somethin' to eat? I'm hungry." I say. "Oh okay Applejack." Fluttershy answers. "I-I guess we should get something to eat. Just let me do something real quick." "Oh, well, alright." I say. "I'll wait for ya out here." Fluttershy nods and then goes inside her cottage. 2 minutes pass, and I start to wonder what's going on. "Uhh, Fluttershy!" I call. "What's the hold up?" "Oh, uh, n-nothing." the pink-haired, yellow pony responds. "Should we go now?" she asks. I nod, and we are on our way.
