The Mystery of the Two Sisters: Book 1

          It was a bright sunny day, and as usual, Applejack and Rainbow Dash were trying to find out which of them was the most daring. “I bet I could walk through the Everfree forest by myself!” Said Applejack with a determined look in her eyes, Rainbow Dash replies with, ”As if!, I could walk circles around you going there”. Twilight sees the two of them and walks over. “What are you two planning now?” She asked, after hearing part of what they said. “I really don’t understand why you girls are so competitive.”

  Applejack answered her, never letting her eyes leave Rainbow Dashs’. “We’re going to have a race in the Everfree Forest.” Twilight looks at them with a look of worry in her eyes. “Just don’t go near the Castle of the Two Sisters, I hear that if you enter at night, you never come back out.”

               Applejack smiles mischieviously at Rainbow Dash as she gives Applejack the same smile, accepting the challenge. Twilight just shakes her head and says,” well if you're gonna go let me tag along so you don’t disappear” she says a little worried. Fluttershy runs over to where they are, looking extremely worried. “Twilight, I-I need help! A-Angel ran away!”,Twilight looked to Fluttershy and said,” When was the last you saw him?”, Fluttershy replied hastily, “He was running towards the Everfree Forest!”, she says crying. Twilight nods, understanding why Fluttershy is so worried. “Ok, if we’re going to have any chance of finding him, we need to go together… Where are Rarity and Pinkie Pie?”,  Applejack replies,” Either the spa, her place, or somewhere fancy, and Pinkie, well where a party is” Rainbow Dash looks at them and nods. “I’ll go get them!”, she flies off towards the direction of Rarity’s house.

            Applejack straightens her hat and says “Here, I’ll  look for Pinkie”, She then gallops to where the nearest party was.  A little while later, Rainbow Dash returns, carrying a not-so-happy Rarity. Rarity says with a huff,” Why ever do I have to be here, I mean you don’t really need my help, besides I was in the middle of brushing my hair!” she glares at Rainbow. Rarity only had one of her eyelashes done, and a hair brush still in her hair. Then Applejack returns with Pinkie, hopping along side her, with a worried look. They all meet and Twilight says,” We all need to help find Angel bunny for Fluttershy, I thought it would be good to have all hoofs helping”. Applejack nods in agreement,”Yeah, it would be good to have us all together in case something happens”,  Twilight makes the statement,” We gotta go through the Everfree Forest to find him”, everypony got quiet, and Rainbow says, ”no matter the cost, we must help one another”.

Pinkie Pie puts her hoof in the middle of the group, and Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Twilight stack their hooves on top, and Twilight’s horn glowed and the Elements of Harmony appear on them. “The Elements should protect us if we stick together and remember the strongest magic of all,”Everyone throws their hoof into the air and yell,” Friendship!”, They all stand shoulder to shoulder as they walk towards the forest. In the distance, they hear the howl of a Timber Wolf, and Fluttershy cringes at the noise. They continued carefully, watching out for each other, and Applejack holds out her hooves to stop them. “Don’t step in these flowers, it’s Poison Joke! You remember what happened last time, don’t you?” She warns them, while Fluttershy blushes at the memory of how her voice had changed. “Look, we can walk around”, says Pinkie.

                   Applejack nods, then warns them again, “Just don’t let it touch you.” Everyone goes around being cautious. They walk for some time and Twilight happens to see a pair of white ears, she says quietly,” there he is”, Fluttershy doesn't get the hint of being quiet and yells,” Angel!”  Angel runs off into some ruins.”Come on!”, yells AJ as they run after him. Rainbow tries to fly after him, and Twilight grabs her tail with her mouth, holding her back. “We have to stick together, remember?”, she tells Rainbow. “Oh yeah, I forgot”, she replies, as they all go to the ruins. Fluttershy sinks down nervously and asks,”D-do we really have to g-go in t-there?” They all reply with a gloomy,” Yeah”. She tries to turn and run away, but Twilight uses her magic to turn her around, and Fluttershy runs toward the ruins instead of away from them. She runs into the ruins, then halts then goes back to her friends. She blushes lightly, then looks at Twilight apologetically.

                 “Come on, together!”, Twilight says as they all go in together. Everyone, including Rainbow Dash, has a look of fear as they walk in. Inside most everything is intact, but there are still bits of rubble and destruction. Rainbow Dash spots a pair of white ears behind a rock and gently nudges Twilight. “I think I found him”, she whispers.”Shhh, be quiet”, she says softly. Rainbow nods, and looks again to see if Angel moved, and she looks just in time to see the wall spin around, with Angel on the other side. “Uh, Twi, I don’t think this place is safe…” she says with a scared voice.” Before it gets too late lets find a ‘safe room’ until morning…”, Twilight says. AppleJack looks at Twilight. “Yeah, I agree with ya'll on that idea”, she say, her voice shaking slightly.

             Twilight motions them to follow, as she walks to find a big enough room. Rarity looks at Twilight with a small smile. “Um, Twilight Darling, what about that room we got zapped into Spike’s comic book in?”, She replies,” yeah that sounds good, but maybe a small magic barrier around the room would be good”. Everyone nods, and follows Twilight. “W-what if something happens to Angel?”, Fluttershy says in a small, scared voice. Twilight responds,” soon it will be too dark, and besides he is fast so I don’t plan anything will happen to him, here we are”, as they enter the room they talked about.
