Confession of Two Over Picnic.
Setting up the sheets for the picnic. Fluttershy watched her work in approval. It was such a gorgeous day. Clouds moved aimlessly in the sky, birds sing their songs above the trees and today is they day two of her friends gets to know each other.
Fluttershy scanned the surrounding and spotted Treehugger, carrying a basket in her mouth, trotting up the hill. The Pegasus waved at the earth pony with a beaming smile.
Treehugger, seeing Fluttershy, smiled back. She lay the basket on the picnic sheet and embraced the yellow pegasus.
"Oh, Treehugger, I'm glad you made it!" Fluttershy said.
"Of course, Flutter, you said he's a nice guy if I got to know him, so I came. "Pointing at the basket," here, I bought us some cucumber sandwiches."
Clopping her hooves together. "Oh, how wonderful! I bet Discord would love them!" said Fluttershy.
They both sat and waited for Discord and The Smooze to arrive. Cool summer breeze, which sent their manes wave smoothly, flows through the Earth accompanied by wild leaves that was pulled out of its trees.
One of these leaves fell upon Fluttershy's nose, making her eyes cross as it focus on it. There she sees Discord waving at her with the Smooze in tow. They disappeared with an inaudible pop like a bubble to reappear again, this time with a much louder pop.
"Hello, my dearest Fluttershy!" Discord said. "Care for some tea?" He snapped his fingers and three tea cups and a teapot came into existence. The tea set came to life as the teapot fills each cups. One teacup hovered towards Fluttershy.
"Why, thank you Discord." Fluttershy said as she gingerly grabbed the teacup hovering towards her.
"Treehugger?" The draconequus nodded at the green coated mare, whose eyes were half opened.
Treehugger snatches the teacup and then took a sip."Radical,"
"I'm glad you like it."
"Discord, you've got to try one of Treehugger's cucumber sandwiches!" said Fluttershy. She grabbed one from the basket and gave it to Discord.
"Why, sure." He took a bite, while chewing he lets out a few moans. "Mmmhmmm... Mh-mhm-mm!" he then swallowed his food, making him wriggle bonelessly. "Oh, how I love cucumber sandwich." He threw the rest of the sandwich into his mouth and it was gone in one gulp.
"How about you Mr.Smooze? Would you like some sandwiches too?" said Fluttershy. Reaching out a hoof with a sandwich.
The Smooze cringed and moved away. He shook his head in disapproval.
"Sorry Fluttershy. The Smooze only eats shiny things. any shiny things. I already gave him some in my house, though I suppose I can give him another." Discord struck his left ear with his left arm, rummaging through it as noises came out like- ' Ting.. Clank.. Bang.. Bonk... Boom! '.
He pulled his arm out, holding what seems to be a golden horseshoe - something like Celestia's - with a picture of the sun imprinted on it.
He tossed it to the Smooze, whose mouth opened wide and snapped it with his jelly mouth.
After a few minutes of eating, drinking and small talks about the gala. Fluttershy asked,"Discord how did you meet mr.Smooze?"
"Yeah, Dude, I can feel the vibe between you two. Your past has made a strong bond with you two." said Treehugger.
"I suppose I can tell you ponies about it. But we go a long way back to college..."
Oh, how I remember. The first time we met. I was walking through the corridor in Chaos University Nocturnal Technologies, it was the best University in town. I went into Chaotic Transfiguration class for my first period...
Discord sat on his sit and felt a lump hitting his rump. He sat up and grabbed the thing. It was an envelope with a heart as a seal. He ripped the top and pulled the paper out. It says.
Dear Discord Senpai,
Discord Senpai please meet me at the back of the library building at two O'clock. I have something to tell you.
By your secret admirer,
Xoxo
Blushing, Discord gasped. Holding the paper across his chest. He took a deep breath and smiled.
"Oh my, a secret admirer. I never had one before. How did it felt like?" asked Fluttershy.
"Huh, oh umm... It felt great!" Discord said. He gave Fluttershy a weak smile, who look at Discord with a raised eye brow.
"Radical! Love is an amazing thing. It gives us strength and unity." said Treehugger.
"Well anyway..."
It was already two o'clock and Discord was on his way at the back of the library building. He turned around a corner and he sees the building ahead. On the side of the building, as he walk closer to the edge, he hears a few voices and quickly ran towards it.
There on the 'meeting spot' were three upperclassmen wearing a black school uniform. They were picking on someone, who was cuddled up, whimpering, as they kick and spit insults at him.
Feeling brave, Discord ran up to them and said, "Hey! Leave him alone!" He or should I say she stood there hands on her hips. The draconiquus wore a white uniform with a red tie and a jacket wrapped around her waist and a black miniskirt.
"Stay out of this chick!" The small one said. Fluttered by the compliment she could've said 'sure boys' but she still have to save the little guy.
"I don't want to fight you!" Discord stood in a fighting position, ready to wing it.
The three bullies laughed as they stepped away from the poor guy. "Get out of here before we do something that you'll regret."
"How bout' you three get your asses of here before I wipe them out of here!" said Discord. She grinned as the small one, who seems to be the leader, stammered for a comeback. As time pass, and he knows he can't say anything, he mentioned his two companions to fight her.
"Huh, I thought you got balls. but I guess you gave them to these two to fight for you." Discord flipped her hair as their leader blushed in embarrassment.
Discord glances at both enemies as they prey upon her. The biggest one charged carelessly, simply relying on his strength. Discord took advantage of this and sidestepped, reaching out with a foot which made the giant stumble and fall.
Seeing this the other one, much smaller than the first, eyes widened in shock but soon turned into rage. He slowly moved towards Discord, arms up. He threw a straight punch, which Discord sidestepped and dodged. He then threw a left hook and Discord ducked to avoid it. As she spotted an opportunity. Discord stepped into her enemy and used her knee on his balls, sending him sky high, squealing.
Discord scoffed. "Not even a sweat!" Brushing off dirt from her shoulders.
"You bitch!" The last bully pulled out a small knife from his pocket. "Come here!" He said as he charged at her, knife by his side.
Discord, being ridiculously taller than him, lift her right leg to kick the guy in the head. Everything turned into slow motion. The guy's eyes widened as he saw the kick coming in, and Discord's white thong. Discord winks and made the guy blush more from what he had seen.
As time go back into its original speed. The last of the bullies came swirling into a wall. Discord made her way to the poor guy, still cuddled up into a ball.. "Are you okay?" She bent down and offered him a hand.
He looked up at his savior. Revealing a green slimy creature in a top hat, wearing the boys uniform (jet black, long sleeved polo and a pair of pants.).
'He's kinda cute,' Discord thought. Their faces inches from each other. "Are you the one who called me here?" she whispered.
"Y-yes, Discord Senpai,"
"Well, bad kohai," Discord grinned, letting out a few chuckles. Leaning closer to the Smooze...
"And they smooch, smooch and smooch!!!" Discord yelled. Making smoochy sounds as he tells his story.
"Discord was all that true?" asked fluttershy. Her face showing confusion and disbelief.
"Well... Partly? I mean, we did met at the transfiguration class. We ate at the back of the library building. There was a ridiculous tree there. And that's how we started to become friends?" Discord explained. He then grinned awkwardly.
Satisfied, Fluttershy nodded then looked at Treehugger. "How about you tell Discord how you got your cutie mark?"
Treehugger nodded." I lived in Manehattan with my gamily when I was just a filly..."
Me and my family lived in our own house near my school, so I don't have problems going home. Both my parents are always busy, they rarely play with me. But I got my nana, she's our family maid. She have been taking care of me since I was a born, after mother was ready to go back to work. We live far away from trees and there was always conflict in the city. It made me... uncomfortable...
"Nana? When will I get my cutie mark?" asked Treehugger, looking out the window, observing the foals playing below. They all had their own unique cutie mark.
"I don't know child," the old unicorn mare said. "You just have to wait." She continued to brush the shelves with the duster held in her magic.
Treehugger turned around to look at Nana, her once silvery blue mane and tail now dull with time and her tan coat wrinkled with age. "For how long Nana? Most of the other foals in our street already have their cutie marks!" She sighed.
Nana took a deep breath." Little Treehugger, let me tell you a story of a little earth filly who hasn't gotten her cutie mark even though all the other fillies had them." The old mare sat on a chair. Treehugger made her way to Nana's side, she squirmed a bit but ceased when she felt comfortable.
"You see," Nana began. "This certain little filly was too old to not have a cutie mark still, it made her furious. She tried to do so many things. She tried cooking, teaching, building and many more! But she never realize that it has something to do on what's inside. What really mattered ,my little filly, is what your heart tells you. One time. When she joined a talent show. She already lost confidence, even though it hadn't even started yet! Cause the other contestants already have their cutie marks! But her parents and friends wooed her to keep on going. And when she stood up stage and opened her mouth. Everyone. And I mean everyone! Was in awe as her voice echoed through the whole school. And there, right on the spot, she got her cutie mark; a mic shimmering with stars."
Treehugger stared at her nanny, wide eyed and her mouth in 'o'. The old unicorn mare chuckles made Treehugger snap out of her long stare.
"Well, I better get back to work-ah!" Nana yelped as she tried to get on all hooves.
"Nana?" Treehugger asked. Her face filled with worry.
"It's okay, sweetheart, just a little cramp-ah!" A loud crack of bone made Treehugger go into panic. "Oh, look I'm fine now. See? Nothing to worry about." Treehugger, with eyes watering, ran into her Nana and hugged her hoof.
"Oof, hehe, it's okay sweetheart" s aid Nana and pecked the light-green filly's mane.
Since then, I tried doing so many things – Most of the things I enjoy —some out of curiosity. Every Time I go to Nana: bruised, wet, dirty and crying, she's always there to patch me up, dry me up, clean me up and comfort me till I'm asleep. But one day...
Today, both her parents planned a day off so they could all spend time in the park. Treehugger's father would play catch the disc together with his daughter, and at some point she would even ride him on his back. Her mother sat by their picnic sheet, laughing as she watch her family having fun, some times she gets dragged into a game. Like Treehugger's favorite, The Chase.
After playing for how long. They all sat to eat and drink the exhaustion away. This is one of the happiest days in Treehugger's life. Her family beaming from a whole day of having fun.
"We should do this more often." Her father said. Glancing between her wife and her daughter.
"Yeah, to wash the stresses away. And a bit of work out too." Her mother laughed.
"You hear that TG? We're going to do this more often!"
"Yay! Thanks mom and dad! I love you!" Treehugger hugged both of her parents.
I thought that was the best day in my whole life! But the day wasn't over yet. After the joyful day in the park, me and my parents went home. And when we got there...
"Nana! Nana I had so much fun today!" Treehugger shouted, running through the whole house looking for her Nana. "Nana! Where are you? I want to tell you what fun things we did to day Nana!"
As their daughter galloped upstairs. They set their stuff in the living room. "Honey I have something to get in my studies." The father said, "I'll leave you to clean up for a bit, but don't worry! I'll be back to help." He winked at his wife before trotting into his studies.
After a few moments she heard her husband shout. " Maple! Honey! Call an ambulance quickly!" Hearing the distress in her husband's voice. she galloped into the scene. She gasped as Nana lay on the floor unmoving. "What happened?" Maple whimpered.
"I don't know, But she's not breathing! Go! Hurry call for help!" From upstairs, Treehugger was shouting the old unicorn's name." And stop Treehugger! She must not see her in this state." With a nod, Her wife took off.
I was so confused that day. I don't know what was happening. "Why are they taking Nana? And why are mommy and daddy crying? We were so happy just now." Those were the questions circling my mind that solemn day. The day I lost Nana.
It was funeral day. They day they bury her. My caretaker, my healer, my best friend. A lot of people attended, most were our neighbors. Nana has always been kind. Everypony loved her. As ponies in black dresses and suits gave their condolences and their speeches, time seems to fly for me and soon I find my self staring at her tombstone. It lies beside a small tree, yet to mature.
"Nana... Why do you have to go Nana? I miss you already. I promise to be a good filly. I'll clean my room from now on and I'll also help with the chores. I hope your proud of me Nana." Treehugger lay beside the tree, sobbing. She soon embraced the base of the tree as she continue to weep. Her tears fell into the earth. The tree blossomed, becoming more beautiful and then there was a bright spark. Her cutie mark appeared a tree with red leaves shaped like a heart."
by then I started to feel everything, their vibes, their auras and many more! And I can feel, somewhere, Nana is watching over me.
"... And that's how I found my cutie mark."
Both fluttershy and Discord was crying. Fluttershy letting it all out like a fountain of tears, Discord holding a bowl filled with tears, and the Smooze tears running down from his invisible eyes.
They all gathered on Treehugger with a tight embrace.
"Woah, there dudes..." Treehugger glanced at each of them. She smiled as she closed her eyes, a tear falling over her cheek.
