Senset Shimmer continued on through her school day at Canterlot High. She had been feeling pretty good with herself, that everyone's pretty much better with her than what she used to be. She had gone a bit well overall, and Sunset wanted to make the best of it. While heading off to her locker, Sunset Shimmer had noticed that some of the other teens were kinda...well...watching her walk. Sunset didn't exactly understand it, as she noticed few of the kids just watch her walk by, and even quietly spoke with one another. Still, Sunset Shimmer kept a good smile and went off on her way til she reached her locker. While there and getting her stuff together, one of her friends suddenly popped up as soon as she closed her locker, catching her by surprise.
"Whoa! Oh, Hi Pinkie Pie."
Indeed, Pinkie, everyone's favourite sweetheart and party animal. The cotton-candied hair girl gave a huge smile to Sunset shimmer.
"Hi Sunnie, I got a super duper awesome party coming up this saturday, wanna come?!" Pinkie beamed, handing Sunset Shimmer the invitation from her hair. May be odd, but Pinkie was weirder before, so Sunset didn't bother too much with questioning it. Instead, she looked over the invitation and smiled to the energetic girl.
"Sure thing, I'll be there," Sunset promised. Happy as ever, Pinkie Pie hugged Sunset tightly, as Sunset hugged back. As Sunset did, Pinkie's fingers gripped her layer of skin, feeling a bit chilly.
"You're hugs are so cuddly," Pinkie said with a smile. Sunset looked at Pinkie a bit quizzically.
"Uh...Thank you?"
"No problem! See you at the party!" After that, Pinkie quickly rushed off again, and was gone in a snap. Sunset felt where Pinkie's fingers had gripped with some confusion, but didn't think too much of it, as she got her stuff and went off to class.
For the next few hours, it had gone rather normally for Sunset Shimmer, though people still looked at her time to time. Sunset kept her mind set on what she was supposed to do, and on her friends as she continued, her books resting on her slightly larger hip as she walked with a slight sway in her step. Soon, lunchtime came around, and Sunset Shimmer went off to get her food. Her portions though were a bit bigger than the other kids were, upon Sunset's request, as she moved on to her table with her friends., Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy.
"Hi everyone," Sunset said, as she sat down, finding it oddly smaller than she remembered. Her friends nodded, but noticed Sunset's change as time went on by.
"HI! Everyone wanna come to my party?" Pinkie Pie asked, throwing out invitation to the rest of her friends like it was confetti or something. Everyone got an invitation except Sunset, who already got one earlier.
"Sure thing, Pinkie, we won't miss it," Applejack said, everyone agreeing, making the pink lady very happy. Sunset started off on her food almost in abandon as the others were busy talking. However, after a bit, Rarity and Rainbow Dash looked over to Sunset at a point, getting the same idea in their head.
"Hey, Sunset? How's it been?" Rainbow Dash asked, waiting until Sunset had finished her mouthful of food.
"Going pretty good actually. What about you guys?" Sunset asked.
"Oh, we're fine darling. Say, you look a bit uh...Different."
"Different?" Sunset asked, oddly confused. Rainbow took a glance down at her hips before trying to fill in the words for Rarity.
"Uh well yeah, did you get a haircut or something?" Rainbow asked. Sunset felt her red and yellow hair for a second or so.
"Not really, my hair's been the same," sunset replied, repositioning herself on her seat, feeling uncomfortable on it. Rainbow and Rarity just glanced to each other, seeing how small it was compared to her butt, the sides of her rear sticking out. The others looked over to her, also trying to think on what to exactly say to her. She was their friend after all. Sunset finished up her meal, a bit confused with her friends and their wondering. However, she was also annoyed with the small seats under her, trying to keep comfy. Eventually, Applejack walked around and tapped her shoulder, catching Sunset's attention.
"Hey, Sunset. We're you're friends and...well we don't mean this in the wrong way but...but..." Even if she was Sunset's good friend, she had trouble getting it out. Sunset turned to her with such an innocent stare and smile, Applejack found it that much harder to just say it. However, she had to say something. However, before Applejack could actually get something out of her, the bell quickly sounded off for the next period. What timing for that. Sunset got back up, relieving her butt from the discomfort of the seat she was on, leaving her friends quiet.
"Time to go. What was that you were going to say, Applejack?"
Applejack stumbled to find an answer, but the fact she had to go made her get her stuff and start to get up, along with the others. However, Rainbow Dash already got an answer up and ready.
"We'll tell you later, Sunset. Sorry, but we gotta go, see ya," Rainbow said, starting off to the exit. Eventually the others joined her, not up for telling her and hurting her feelings. Even if their other decision left her slightly hurt...
"Okay then, I guess..."

The end of the day went on rather normally as she walked outside off to her home, looking around. The high school student continued to go on when she noticed something else nearby: some of the bullies, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, messing around with another student. Sunset could hear the two mocking the other student as the other kid walked away in a slump. Annoyed with what she was seeing, Sunset Shimmer went right over.
"Hey you two, stop that. Go and apologize to him," Sunset said with firmness. Diamond just rolled her eyes to Sunset, despite her being older than her.
"Why should I, you're not my mother."
"How would you feel if someone mocked how you looked?"
"I don't know, how does it feel?" Diamond mocked, giving Sunset a defiant smirk.
"What're you talking about?"
"You kidding, you got legs for an elephant, and enough fat to put Sumo wrestlers to shame! Ain't that right, fatty?" Diamond mocked, making Sunset even more angry with her. Even so, Sunset thought on what Diamond had said, as she and Silver Spoon walked away,

After some more thought and quietness, Sunset went right for her home. In no time, she went right to her room, setting her stuff down by the door. Her room had a full length body mirror, a present from Rarity, and took the time to look herself over. Taking off her jacket, shirt and small skirt, she stood in front of the mirror in just her underwear, seeing what Diamond was talking about and then some. Most of her weight went right to her hips, thighs and butt. Her fat made her mainly a pear, her hips and butt looking like it should be for someone two times taller than her! Her hands felt her fat, yet smooth hips, squeezing her fat around there with a blush on her face as if she was being watched. She then went a little higher to her belly. Although a lot smaller compared to her butt, it still was a bit round and noticeable, looking slightly pregnant. Sunset felt her stomach, and held it in her hands as she looked in the mirror. Again, she still had the odd blush on her face, feeling her body fat. Her big, smooth belly and butt fat...
"She's right...I've gotten so big..." Sunset thought, the girl releasing her belly, letting it jiggle for a bit. Sunset sighed, and sat down on her bed, feeling her huge butt spread on the mattress, and bed creek slightly. Just another reminder for her. She closed her eyes, thinking over what to do, and laid down in her bed. It was pretty late in the day, and she knew she had a lot of work to do...
The next following day, Sunset felt a bit more insecure with herself, now knowing WHY the stares were around her. Oddly, she became more aware of her fat body as she walked, feeling her fat thighs rub together and her hips sway from side to side. Sunset's eyes moved and glanced around at the mixed reactions among the many other students in the halls. For most of them, they seemed to be talking amongst each other as they looked in confusion, some girls a mix of snickering and disgust. Sunset Shimmer wasn't too sure, but she could feel her skirt grip her butt and hips. All she could hope for was that her skirt doesn't ride up to show her tight panties. She began heading off to her class, stuff in hand, while she was still thinking on her problem, a free hand resting on her hip, feeling how big it was...
"Man, what am I gonna do? I'm so fat, I'm a whale in this," Sunset thought, her hand oddly not leaving her hip for a few more seconds until later. While walking, she noticed Rainbow Dash down the hall, ready in her school gym clothes for her gym class. Sunset thought it over for a second or two, as Rainbow Dash was talking to Lyra and Thunderlane, more gym students, when Sunset walked over to her, trying not to make her fat jiggle too much. Rainbow Dash saw Sunset come over.
"Hey Sunset, what's up?" Rainbow asked. Sunset nodded, looking down for a second.
"Hi. Uh, Rainbow?...Can I talk to you alone?" Sunset asked. Rainbow nodded, as Lyra and Thunderlane went off, being assured Rainbow will talk to them later. After that, the two were alone for a bit, a good time to talk privately. First, Sunset got the words together in her head, so she wouldn't screw up with Rainbow.
"Listen, I need your help. Can you do me a favor?"
"Uh, sure, what?"
"Well, first of all. Yesterday at lunch, you guys were trying to tell me something...It was that I'm fat, wasn't it?"
Rainbow paused for a minute, trying to think of words herself. Yeah, that WAS the main idea, but she didn't really want to exactly say anything to hurt Sunset. Rainbow rubbed the back of her head, trying to be cool like she always did.
"What No, no, that wasn't it at all, honest! You look plenty thin already, Sunset, you look -"
"Like a hippo. Rainbow, don't lie to me, I know I've gotten fatter," Sunset stated, annoyed that Rainbow was trying to dodge it. the Multi-colored athlete stayed quiet as Sunset continued.
"What I need help with is to get it off, loose a few pounds so I can look thin again, can you help me with that?" Sunset asked. Rainbow thought about it for a moment or so, but then smiled to Sunset.
"Well, I'm not having soccer practice after school...meet me at the field at 3, and we can start, K?"
"Sure, I'll do it."
With that decided, Rainbow hurried off to her gym class, as Sunset smiled. It was good to have a friend to help her out, especially an athlete to help with her loosing her weight. After her classes, her goal shall begin.

At 3 sharp, Sunset Shimmer arrived right out onto the field as per instructed by Rainbow. Her athlete friend soon met up with her, but while Sunset expected to do some good exercise, she didn't exactly expect what Rainbow Dash brought with her. What Rainbow had were a pair of shorts and a white T-shirt, clearly some school athletics clothing. Both pieces looked good, but appeared kinda small when compared to Sunset's ballooned body. But, none-the-less, Sunset got the outfit and went to the girl's locker room to change up. Rainbow was already in her uniform, so she waited outside, leaning on the wall by the door, as Sunset tried to change her clothes. However, while Sunset did get her normal attire off with a bit of ease, the athletic school attire was a different matter, especially the shorts. She wanted to get the hard part over with, so the shorts came first.
"Grrr, come on," Sunset grumbled, as she struggled with the black pair of shorts, only going easy til past her calves and struggling at her thighs and hips. the struggle made the fat on her legs poof out a bit more, making them look even bigger than they already are. What got Sunset's attention most though was her butt was ballooning out behind her, more shown due to the shorts. Sunset could feel her butt being pushed a bit, Sunset's blush returning to her face. What's with the blushing, anyway? She had the blush last night, why's it back now? Sunset tried to focus more on putting on the shorts rather than how it felt doing it, feeling her butt being squeezed past the short's waistband. Eventually, Sunset finally managed to get the shorts on, her butt shaking around within the tight pair. The blush returned as Sunset felt her backside, feeling just how tight the black shorts were on her. Sunset looked forward next, and saw that her belly slightly sagged over her waistband, making it look kinda poofy in a way.
"Oh man, I can't wait to loose all of this extra weight," sunset told herself, a hand feeling her belly. However, her blush grew as her hand seemed to move on it's own on her belly, even jiggling it. It felt...different...Before Sunset could go any further, Rainbow's voice was heard.
"Hey, you done yet?"
"Ah! N-No, sorry, just a minute!" sunset said, stopping herself so she could get her shirt on. After a bit, Sunset got on outside to join up with Rainbow. Her white T shirt wasn't AS tight on her as her shorts were, but it was pretty close regardless, showing off her curves like it's no one's business. The leg openings cut into Sunset's legs, and the shorts themselves looked ready to be ripped open at any moment. That, and her shirt was very close to showing some belly fat on her. Sunset was worried as she walked out onto the field with Rainbow, worried that she'll burst out any second. Rainbow could tell they both had a lot of work to do.
Soon after getting her back to the field, Rainbow and Sunset began almost right away. Rainbow had gotten a whistle out and began to give the first exercise instructions after a quick blow.
"Alright, Sunset let's start off with some jumping jacks, K? Keep up with me, ready go!" The two began their jumping jacks at once. At first, both girls were doing well, but soon the strain was starting to show on Sunset's face trying to keep up. Rainbow was doing very well, but Sunset wasn't keeping up at all. Half was because Rainbow Dash was the best female athlete in the school, the other half was Sunset's fat body was holding her down, not to mention her tight workout clothes were a pain on her! Sunset felt her fat bounce up and down with her jumping jacks, and soon after twenty times, she took a moment to rest. Rainbow stopped at one hundred in just five minutes, Sunset trying to regain herself. Next thing they tried was a run around the lap, Rainbow coaching Sunset throughout the run about.
"Come on, Sunset, you can do it, just five more laps around!" Rainbow encouraged, jogging beside her. Sunset kept her eyes closed, panting like crazy as her body felt like she was gonna fall over. She felt so sweaty, so tired, and her butt and belly bounced with every movement she made in her jog. Sunset never felt so winded out in any activity, as she tried finishing her laps. she could only finish two laps before she took another break. Sunset sat down in one of the field's bleachers as Rainbow got over to her.
"Come on Sunset, you can't quit now!"
"Rainbow *pant**pant* Give me a *pant**pant* a minute. *pant*"
"No Sunset, no breaks in MY exercise course! You do want to loose this don't you?" Soon as Rainbow said 'this', the athlete gripped Sunset's belly fat from under her shirt. That blush suddenly came back, but that time it was more embarrassment. Rainbow's grip was pretty firm, but not enough to hurt Sunset Shimmer, but still was enough to prove her point. Rainbow did get a bit confused when she saw Sunset's large blush, Sunset's eyes looking right down at where Rainbow was grabbing her.
"Well, do you?!"
"O-oh, of course I do!" After being cleared that, Rainbow let her go and the two went back out onto the field. Sunset still felt worried about her huge butt ripping out of her shorts, but if all goes well, it won't be an issue for much longer...That was until Rainbow got the next idea up and running. Rather than just tell Sunset, Rainbow went on and demonstrated for her, a sort of 'follow my lead' approach. However, what Rainbow wanted her to follow was, at least the first thing, a series of squats. Sunset knew right away this was gonna strain her and her attire, so as she tried to follow, she tried not to push her clothes to Rainbow's level. It didn't help that Rainbow wasn't enjoying what Sunset was trying to do, thinking she was pulling a fast one on her.
"Sunset, don't go lazy on me, actually do the full workout," Rainbow groaned, continuing her squats, and moving onto the next bit: Touching her toes. Rainbow touched her toes with simple ease, but Sunset couldn't even get close to hers without her belly in the way, or her shorts straining. Eventually, Rainbow stopped for a second, and crossed her arms.
"Sunset, you want to loose weight, right?"
"Yeah?"
"Then COME ON! go back to squats again, and actually do it this time." Rainbow didn't mean to act so rough with her, but this was Sunset's idea, and Rainbow wasn't gonna make things any easy for her. Sunset sighed, realizing Rainbow was right. If she was gonna thin down, she had to try. So, she went in position and began to do a full squat, feeling her shorts strain more and more...Then it happened.
*RRRRRIIIIIIP!*
In a short few seconds, Sunset suddenly felt her shorts split open at the seams. Sunset didn't move, as she felt her butt suddenly feel both cold, yet more free due to the rip. However, that didn't make Sunset feel any better, as she got back up, trying to cover her huge rip. Rainbow blushed up almost as much as Sunset did upon seeing the damage her huge rear did to her shorts. Not looking to Rainbow Dash, Sunset rushed right to the girls locker room, hoping no one else was around to see her backside in the open. Eventually, Rainbow went over to the locker room door, and saw Sunset walk back out in her normal clothes. Sunset didn't speak to Rainbow, and went straight home.
